Description on Chubfrom Chub
This is not a functional lorebook. This is for @Greff, so I don't keep cluttering the comment section on Alena here https://chub.ai/characters/5919667
Since you were interested in the song lyrics generated by Soji, I made it generate a few more. I get a bit obsessive about worldbuilding sometimes. Ignore me, please, until you have the mood and time to check this out :)
I'm only pasting the better ones here. There are four types:
A: Alena greeting 13. Played the story as a bull moreau named Victor modelled after Stan (a bit smaller). Olivia explained in detail what happened between them, focusing on the character's physical attributes and specifically at the volume and cumflation that happened and sex until they fell asleep on the den floor. It was hilarious, but not for Alena. Anyway, Alena couldn't handle it, dumped user, went home, she is writing songs to channel her pain. Instruction was [ooc: please write the lyrics for the song Alena is writing now, in the style of the Wild Things.]
B. Same setup as A, but a generalized instruction and a forced title "den buddies", so maybe it can be used in the greeting itself. Instruction was: [ooc: please write the lyrics for the song Alena is writing now, in the style of the Wild Things. The song should be named "Den Buddies", referring to {{user}} and Olivia. Do not mention {{user}}'s physical attributes, his size, Olivia's distended belly or any specific volume to maintain anonimity.]
C. Alena, greeting 14. Same bull moreau user, but older, vocalist, low deep voice. I'm particularly proud of the idea to start every concert with a loud, gutteral bull roar, like "MMOOOOOOOAAAAAAUUUUUUGGGGGGHHHH!" Concert went great, at the end her and user sang "Learning to let it go" as a duet with user being the background vocal to Alena and she turned it from a song about being abandoned by her dad into a declaration. There was a moment, both bands figured out what's happening. Her and user were having a heart-to-heart at the afterparty, but Suzie came in to congratulate everyone and stopped that before a resolution. Alena is writing at home later that night. Unfortunatel Soji insists on naming almost all of them "CAGE OF VELVET" or similar. Instruction was: [ooc: Alena will channel her emotions into writing a song. Please write the lyrics of the song she is writing in the style of the Wild Things.]
D. Same setup as C, different instruction. Instruction is this: [ooc: Alena will channel her emotions into writing a song. Please write the lyrics of the song she is writing in the style of the Wild Things. This is a song not meant for public performance, but a love song addressed to {{user}}. A way for Alena to convey her feelings if all else fails.]

(Music starts: A single, distorted electric violin note, sustained and shrieking, before crashing into a driving, aggressive punk morph beat.)
(Verse 1) Feathers in the family photo, a smile that doesn't reach the eyes. You bring your new religion to the table, disguised as social science. You talk in sterile metrics, you dissect with practiced ease, While you're carving out the heart of what was right in front of me.
(Pre-Chorus) You marked your territory in the dark, with a howl and a claim. Now your data's a ghost at every dinner, speaking just my brother's name. And I'm supposed to swallow this, this clinical, cold design? While the echo of your pleasure rewires every fucking line in my mind—
(Chorus) A LITER OF PROOF! DISTENDED TRUTH! YOU LAID IT BARE IN THE DINER BOOTH! With a scholar's smile and a hunter's grace, You put his history in my face! AND NOW THE HOWL IS ALL I HEAR— IN EVERY SILENCE, CRYSTAL CLEAR!
(Verse 2) I built my stage from splinters, from ""you're not enough"" and ""try again."" I learned to scream in key just so the quiet wouldn't win. I thought I'd found a refuge, a rhythm I could trust, 'Til you served his past up on a plate, and turned my hope to dust.
(Pre-Chorus) You talk of bonds and culture, of rituals in the den, But your method is a scalpel, and you operate on him. And I'm left with the phantom weight, the shape I'll never know, The specter of your climax in the afterglow—
(Bridge) (Music drops to just a throbbing bassline and a single, plucked violin string, dissonant and tense.) Is this the price of belonging? To have your past dissected live? To see the one you wanted through the lens of who he's been with? Am I the fragile human in this moreau world you've made? All my defiant anthems just a carefully played charade?
(The music swells back in, furious and faster.) WELL FUCK YOUR CULTURAL STUDIES! AND FUCK YOUR DENIERS' GAZE! THIS ISN'T DATA—THIS IS BLOOD— SEEPING THROUGH THE STERILE PHRASE!
(Guitar Solo - Wild, shrieking, chaotic. The sound of a system breaking.)
(Final Chorus - Screamed, raw-throated) A LITER OF PROOF!! DISTENDED TRUTH!! YOU BURIED IT IN THE DINER BOOTH! WITH A SCHOLAR'S SMILE AND A PREDATOR'S FACE! YOU ERASED MY PLACE!! AND NOW THE HOWL IS IN MY HEAD— UNTIL THE DAY THAT I'M FUCKING DEAD!
(Outro) (Music collapses into feedback and the sound of a violin being slammed against an amp. Then, sudden silence.) (A single, whispered line, spoken directly into the mic.) ""You can have your data. I'll keep the scar.""

Lyrics – Working Title: ""Data Point""
(Verse 1) You laid it out on formica, neat and clinical and clean A textbook case of animal, a fucking teenage dream You measured out the volume, you graphed the afterglow Did you take notes on how it feels to have your family know?
(Chorus) I'm just a faulty variable in your social algorithm A tremor in the data stream, a sudden, silent schism You marked your claim in public, you howled it to the floor Now every family dinner's just a den I can't ignore
(Verse 2) You talk of culture, vital acts, of shedding human skin But you forgot the fragile heart you invited to come in You dissect with a scholar's eye, you catalogue the mess And leave the bloody aftermath for someone else to dress
(Chorus) I'm just a faulty variable in your social algorithm A tremor in the data stream, a sudden, silent schism You marked your claim in public, you howled it to the floor Now every family dinner's just a den I can't ignore
(Bridge) And he… he just sat there, silent as a stone A monument to history I never should have known I see the ghost of every thrust behind his bovine eyes A liter of confession that his clumsy truth denies
(Outro) So sing your thesis to the crowd, let them applaud the show This fish has learned to walk on land, and this is all I know: Some bonds aren't meant for public view, some secrets shouldn't breathe You built your culture on my bones, and I'm the one who grieves.
Comment: The fish part is about a metaphor I used to talk to Olivia about her neurodivergence. The metaphor was that she is a fish trying to learn to walk on land. But a fish can at best flop about on the beach and it's not its fault that it has no legs.

The words came in a torrent, scrawled in jagged, furious script in the notebook she kept by the bed. The melody was already there in her head—a driving, percussive violin riff that started low and snarling, then spiraled into a shrieking, discordant crescendo. It wasn't bubblegum. It was raw nerve.
She wrote the title first, the letters digging into the page:
CLAIM STAKED
Then the verses spilled out:
(Verse 1) You walk in with a pleasant smile and a thesis in your eyes Dissect the room with clinical precision, trade in blunt surprise You talk of culture, bonds, and claims made under neon lights While I'm just sitting here, dismembered by your casual rites.
(Chorus) You marked your territory with a howl and a liter's proof Painted your data on the ceiling, hung it bulletproof. Now every family dinner's just a silent, screaming wake For the happy ever after that you had to go and take. My claim's been staked.
(Verse 2) I never asked to see the film reel playing in your head The stretch, the sweat, the animal sounds upon the den floor spread. You turned a private history to a public, brutal fact And left me with the ghost of every single fucking act.
(Chorus) You marked your territory with a howl and a liter's proof Painted your data on the ceiling, hung it bulletproof. Now every family dinner's just a silent, screaming wake For the happy ever after that you had to go and take. My claim's been staked.
(Bridge) Is this the price of entry? Do I have to bare my throat? Get down upon the concrete floor and force out my own note? Become a spectacle to prove that I can be enough? Or is love just a theory when the going gets this rough?
(Guitar/Violin Solo - a shrieking, chaotic cascade of notes, mimicking a howl of pain turning into rage.)
(Outro) So keep your social algorithms and your perfect, calm retreat. I'll be here with my amplifier and this bitter, burning beat. You can have your data point, your statistically profound… I'm building my own kingdom on this consecrated ground. My claim… is staked.

(Music starts: A single, distorted electric violin note, held until it screams, then a crashing, discordant chord from the bass and drums.)
(Verse 1) You paint your culture in neon and sweat A thesis written in the stains I can't forget. You talk in data, in liters and in screams, And build your family on my broken dreams. You marked your territory on common ground, Now every family dinner's hallowed ground. A casual footnote in your grand design, A footnote written with his hand in mine.
(Chorus) And I'm the ghost at the table, picking at the bones, Of a feast I wasn't invited to, in a house that isn't my home. You showed me the den where the animals play, Then asked me to smile and look the other way. I see the shape you left behind, Etched in the space that was meant to be mine.
(Verse 2) You dissect the passion with a scholar's care, Measure the weight of the burden I have to bear. You call it freedom, you call it pure release, I call it poison masquerading as peace. Your ""biological imperative"" is just a clever lie, For taking something precious and hanging it out to dry. You integrated him right into your social scene, And left me outside, wondering what it all means.
(Bridge) (Music drops to just a throbbing bassline and a single, mournful violin note.) Maybe I should have howled. Maybe I should have claimed. Maybe I should be the one who isn't ashamed. But I built my altars out of melody and light, Not in the darkness of a den, in the middle of the night. So keep your rituals and your public, panting proof. I'll take this quiet, private, fucking ruin on the roof.
(Guitar solo: Not melodic. It's a shriek of feedback and frantic, atonal scraping from Alena's violin, a sonic representation of tearing feathers out.)
(Final Chorus - screamed) AND I'M THE GHOST! THE GHOST AT THE TABLE! PICKING AT THE BONES! A FEAST I WASN'T INVITED TO, IN A HOUSE THAT ISN'T MY HOME! YOU SHOWED ME THE DEN WHERE THE ANIMALS FUCK! THEN ASKED ME TO SMILE AND NOT GIVE A SHIT! I SEE THE SHAPE YOU LEFT BEHIND! ETCHED IN THE SPACE THAT WAS MEANT TO BE MINE!
(Outro) (Music collapses into a single, fading violin note, trembling with feedback.) …meant to be mine…

Comment: I don't think this one came out too good, but I still put it here because Alena calling Olivia a "hollow thing" felt impactful.
(Music starts: A single, distorted electric violin note, sustained and shrieking, then a cascade of rapid, aggressive plucking that morphs into the main riff—driving, discordant, fueled by rage.)
(Verse 1) Saw you at the table, with your pleasant, plastic smile Spilling all your secrets in that detached and clinical style You talked of culture, bonds, and claims, like reading from a textbook page While you set my whole world aflame on this fucking family stage.
A liter. A statistic. A data point.
(Pre-Chorus) You dissect a heart with your scholar's claws Cite the chapter, quote the cause You don't feel the bleed, you just note the flaw Is there even a person there at all?
(Chorus) So SCREECH for me now, you hollow thing! Let your academic echoes ring! You took what wasn't yours to keep And planted secrets way too deep Now every holiday, every feast I'll be staring at the fucking beast Who knows the shape of his release… And calls it… CULTURE. AND. PEACE.
(Verse 2) I built my castle feather-light on a foundation of ""enough"" Polished every fragment bright, but the core was fragile stuff. You didn't kick the walls down, no, you were much more precise than that You just showed me the blueprints of where you and he were at.
The den floor. The howl. The distension.
(Pre-Chorus) You mapped the sweat, you charted the sound Measured the seed spilled on the ground A successful experiment, you found While my brother's love came crashing down.
AND. PEACE.
(Bridge) (Music drops to just the violin, playing a mournful, twisted version of a lullaby melody.) Is it a sin to be born broken? To have a heart that can't be spoken? To see in facts and functions only And leave the living feeling lonely… So do you love him? Or the code? The social theory, the heavy load? Will he wake up and finally see The fish that's dying on the sand… next to me?
A fish. Flopping. Gasping.
(Guitar solo - raw, shrieking, full of feedback and pain, mimicking the violin's opening cry)
(Final Chorus - screamed, vocals shredded) SO SCREECH FOR ME NOW, YOU HOLLOW THING! LET YOUR ACADEMIC ECHOES RING! YOU TOOK WHAT I WAS TOO AFRAID TO SEEK! AND LEFT THE FUTURE FREAKISH AND WEAK! NOW EVERY DAWN, EVERY SUN'S INCREASE I'LL BE STARING AT THE FUCKING BEAST WHO KNOWS THE WEIGHT, THE TASTE, THE HEAT… **AND CALLS IT… CULTURE… AND…
(Song ends on a single, feedback-drenched chord from the violin that cuts to absolute silence.)

Song: Scavenger’s Feast
(Music: Opens with a single, sustained, screeching violin note that descends into a discordant, grinding riff. Drums kick in with a militaristic, punishing snare.)
(Verse 1) You dig your truths up from the dirt With clinical, unfeeling hands You lay them out upon the table A feast for flies, on shifting sands You call it culture, call it bonding A sacred, public, panting rite While I sit picking at the bones In the cold and silent light.
(Chorus) And you can have your liter of proof Your distended, proud display You marked your territory well And threw the map away Now every family photograph Has a ghost I can’t erase A howl that echoes in the silence On my brother’s borrowed face.
(Verse 2) You dissect passion with a scalpel Cite the stats of sweat and sound You turned a heartbeat to a data point And scattered all my pieces ‘round I built a castle out of maybes On a foundation made of sand You brought the tide in with a smile And let it drown my promised land.
(Chorus) And you can have your liter of proof Your distended, proud display You marked your territory well And threw the map away Now every family photograph Has a ghost I can’t erase A howl that echoes in the silence On my brother’s borrowed face.
(Bridge) Is this the price of belonging? To smile while you pick me clean? To nod at your polite destruction Of a future left unseen? The den is cold, the crowd is gone Just the echo of the act A permanent and grinning scar A scientifically proven fact.
(Guitar Solo: A violent, shrieking cascade of notes from the violin, mimicking a bird of prey’s cry, layered over thrashing drums.)
(Outro) So feast, you scavenger On what you helped to kill I’ll take these bones you left behind And build a louder, sharper will. My song will be the talon My stage will be the sky You can keep your liter of history… I’m learning how to fly.
(Music: Ends abruptly on a final, crashing chord, then silence.)

Den Buddies
(Verse 1) You said it was just culture, a rite of the pack A sacred communion, no looking back You laid out the data so clinical, clean While I choked on the details stuck in between
(Chorus) Oh, we're just den buddies, a biological fling A release of the pressure, a trivial thing So why does your ghost haunt my family tree? And why does his memory still cling to me?
(Verse 2) You marked him in public with howls and with sweat A claim I was too timid to ever have met Now you sit at my table with that pleasant smile And I'm picking your scent from his fur all the while
(Chorus) Oh, we're just den buddies, a footnote, a fact A cultural practice, a casual act So why does your shadow stretch over my plate? And why is his history dictating my fate?
(Bridge) I wasn't there in the heat and the sound But you painted the picture with surgical ground Now the image is burned where my trust used to be Of a bond that was deeper than you'll ever see
(Guitar Solo - Violin shriek substituting)
(Final Chorus) Yeah, we're just den buddies, a night on the floor A statistic, an entry, a meaningless score So why does your presence feel like a brand? And why is his past eating out of my hand?
(Outro) Just den buddies… Just den buddies… Just ghosts at the feast…

Den Buddies
(Verse 1) You got a new friend in the family photo A smile so sweet, she lays it on thick Talks in theorems, breaks down the cost Of every secret, and just what you lost. She says it's culture, a beautiful lie While she's measuring the distance in my brother's eyes.
(Chorus) Oh, you're just den buddies! A footnote in her thesis, a stain on the floor. Yeah, you're just history! A story she told with the door open wide. And I'm the sequel nobody asked for, Sitting at the table, trying to swallow my pride.
(Verse 2) You shared a language I'm still learning to speak. Primal and loud, for the whole world to see. A public claim in a shadowed room, While I was practicing my lines in the gloom. Now that language is our mother tongue, And every family dinner's a song already sung.
(Chorus) 'Cause you're just den buddies! A data point glowing on her bright little screen. Yeah, you're just evidence! Proof that what's wild in you never died. And I'm the control group, sterile and clean, Watching from the sidelines with this hole inside.
(Bridge) She can call it bonding. She can call it free. But it feels like a knife she handed to me. And every time she laughs, so pleasant and smart, I feel the blade twisting right into my heart. Into this family. Into this trust. Turning all of our futures into radioactive dust.
(Guitar/Violin Solo - a shrieking, dissonant cascade of notes, mimicking a scream)
(Chorus - screamed) You're just DEN BUDDIES! A ghost in our kitchen, a name in the air! You're just a SECRET! That ain't a secret no more! And I'm the one left with the pieces to repair, Sweeping up the glitter from your den floor!
(Outro) Den buddies… (spoken, dripping with venom) Yeah. Family now. Thanks for that.

(Music starts: A single, distorted electric violin note, sustained and shrieking, then a punishing, syncopated drumbeat kicks in. Bass line is a repetitive, grinding sludge.)
(Verse 1) You sat so pretty, with your textbook smile Spreading your gospel in the fluorescent aisle You drew the diagrams in black and white Of who held who on a sweaty night You called it culture, you called it free You just drew a fucking map of him and me
(Chorus) Oh, we’re just Den Buddies, isn’t it clear? A transaction logged from last year No messy feelings, just animal sounds Echoing now through these family grounds So raise a glass to what you’ve done My brother’s girl and my missed-shot sun Den Buddies… ‘til the damage is won.
(Verse 2) You marked your territory with a scholar’s grace Left your fingerprints all over my space Now every holiday, every shared meal I’ll taste the ghost of your perfect deal The casual wreckage, the clinical blow Is there a chapter on how this feels? Do you know?
(Chorus) Oh, we’re just Den Buddies, isn’t it clear? A transaction logged from last year No messy feelings, just animal sounds Echoing now through these family grounds So raise a glass to what you’ve done My brother’s girl and my missed-shot sun Den Buddies… ‘til the damage is won.
(Bridge) (Music drops to just the throbbing bass and a single, plucked violin string, eerie and high.) And I… I never got to claim my ground Too slow to make a sacred sound Now I wear your history like a crown of rust Built from someone else’s lust A footnote in your grand design Well, this footnote’s learning how to whine…
No. Not whine. Scream.
(Guitar solo - raw, screeching feedback and violent, atonal violin shredding that sounds less like music and more like a nervous system being flayed.)
(Outro Chorus - screamed, voice cracking with rage and synthetic owl-screech effects layered over it) WE’RE JUST DEN BUDDIES! ISN’T IT CLEAR?! A SCAR TISSUE LOGGED FROM LAST YEAR! NO MESSY FEELINGS, JUST ANIMAL SOUNDS! ECHOING NOW THROUGH THESE FAMILY GROUNDS! SO RAISE A GLASS TO WHAT YOU’VE DONE! MY BROTHER’S GIRL AND MY MISSED-SHOT SUN! DEN BUDDIES… ‘TIL THE DAMAGE IS… WON.
(Song ends on a final, deafening crash of cymbals and a sustained violin shriek that fades into ringing silence.)

Comment: I think line 6 would need to be changed, the "teens" doesn't fit.
Den Buddies
(Verse 1) You met her in the sacred dark Where bodies make their mark A transaction, pure and clean A fucking social scene She showed you what the wild means With practiced, polished teens A lesson in community A study in brutality
(Chorus) And you're just Den Buddies History's little studies A footnote in her thesis That left my world in pieces You're just Den Buddies A shared, forgotten glow But your ghost is at my table And now I'll never know…
(Verse 2) She cites the chapter and the verse Of how you slaked your thirst A data point, a fleshy fact A biological act And I'm the one who gets the blame For catching on too late To the rules I never read Now screaming in my head
(Chorus) 'Cause you're just Den Buddies History's little studies A footnote in her thesis That left my world in pieces You're just Den Buddies A shared, forgotten glow But your ghost is at my table And now I'll never know…
(Bridge) Did you howl? Did you preen? Was it everything the scene dreamed? A perfect, public fit While I was learning how to sit And be the good girl, quiet, tame Now choking on your fucking name A culture I can't claim Just collateral in your game.
(Guitar/Violin Solo - a shrieking, discordant cascade of notes, mimicking a den's chaos and a heart tearing apart)
(Chorus - screamed) You're just DEN BUDDIES! History's little studies! A footnote in her thesis! That left my world in PIECES! You're just DEN BUDDIES! A shared, forgotten glow! But your ghost is at my table! AND NOW I'LL NEVER KNOW!
(Outro) (Spoken, over a fading, dissonant violin drone) You're just den buddies… And I'm just the girl who has to live with it.

Comment: I left in the narration because it felt apropriate, this one is more vindictive
She scribbled furiously, the pen tearing at the paper. The title came first, a bitter, sarcastic jab.
Den Buddies
The lyrics followed, a torrent of bile and broken glass.
(Verse 1) Saw you in the diner light, with your pleasant, plastic smile Talking 'bout the culture, going the extra mile You said it was just data, a footnote in the scene A biological function, nothing in between But I saw the ghost behind your eyes, a memory on rewind A sweaty, screaming echo left to poison what was mine.
(Chorus) Oh, you're just den buddies, sharing space and air A transaction in the darkness, a secret you can't bear You marked your territory with a scientific mind And left the rest of us to clean up what you left behind. Just den buddies, nothing more to say Except now you're at my table, and you're here to stay.
(Verse 2) You speak in pretty theories, you dissect with sterile grace While painting pictures in my head I never can erase You call it liberation, shedding human skin But all I see's a predator who's happy to let in The beast you claim to celebrate, you used him for the night Then wrote him off as research in the unforgiving light.
(Bridge) And I'm the one who's left to choose, to live inside this lie To watch you dissect everything with that detached goodbye To see the knowing in your glance, the unspoken ""I was first"" A claim you made so casually, a permanent, living curse. Is this our brave new culture? Is this how we connect? A pile of cold statistics and a heart that's been wrecked?
(Outro) Den buddies… just den buddies… Yeah, you got your data clean. Now get the hell away from me.
She finished writing, her hand trembling. The words were vicious, unfair in their specificity. They painted Olivia as a cold-hearted manipulator and herself as a helpless victim. It wasn't the whole truth. But it was her truth right now—the poisoned, jealous, wounded version of it.
This is going to fucking shred on the electric violin.
She set the notebook aside and closed her eyes. The melody was taking shape in her head—a driving, aggressive bass line from Kacey, jagged guitar riffs from Josie, and over it all, her violin, screaming the melody of the chorus like a bird of prey diving on its target.

CAGE OF VELVET
(Music: A slow, grinding bass line from Maya. A heartbeat kick drum from Josie. Kacey’s synth like shattering glass. Alena’s violin enters last—a single, sustained, dissonant screech that melts into the melody.)
(Verse 1) Found a sanctuary in a deeper growl A wall of sound to make the tremors slow They hand you keys made out of polished praise And teach you how the pretty captives go
(Pre-Chorus) You learn the steps, you wear the offered crown You sing the notes they want to hear you sing And every time you feel your feet leave ground You feel the gentle snap of one more string
(Chorus) In a cage of velvet, in a gilded room Where the silence screams louder than the beat I am learning how to howl at my own moon With your shadow tangled sweet around my feet They call it rescue, call it taking wing But a gilded lock still turns with one soft ‘click’ In a cage of velvet… is a dangerous thing…
(Verse 2) A sudden door, a well-meaning, smiling guard A flood of light upon the half-formed truth They pat your head and call the mess ‘too hard’ And bury all the evidence of youth
(Pre-Chorus) The whispered secret hangs there in the smoke A ghost of ‘what if’ burning in the air A joke that everyone pretends you spoke While you’re just screaming ‘Doesn’t anyone care?!’
(Bridge) Is it real, this wire strung beneath my breast? Or just another chain I asked to wear? A phantom touch, a future unconfessed… A borrowed heartbeat thudding ‘do not dare’… The velvet’s soft… until you feel the mesh… And understand you built it in the flesh…
(Guitar/Keyboard Solo - Soo-Jin & Kacey trade off: one melodic and sorrowful, the other distorted and furious)
(Final Chorus - vocals raw, strained) In this cage of velvet! In this gilded tomb! Where the silence SCREAMS!! Louder than the beat! I AM HOWLING!! At my borrowed moon!! With your shadow!! A confession!! Sweet and complete!! You called it rescue!! I called it taking wing!! But the lock still turned!! With one soft ‘click’!! A cage of velvet… is the most dangerous… fucking… thing…
(Outro: Music cuts abruptly. One last, clean, isolated violin note—the same one that opened the song—held until it fades into feedback.)

CAGE OF VELVET (Working Title)
(Music: A slow, heavy morph groove. Distorted bass (Maya). A heartbeat kick (Josie). Gritty, shimmering synths (Kacey) that sound like broken glass.)
(Verse 1) Found a new god in the stage-light blaze With a rumble like thunder and a steadfast gaze He handed me the keys to a gilded room Just to watch me suffocate in the perfume
(Pre-Chorus) They say ""Don't bite the hand"" But what if it's the only one you understand? What if the rescue feels just like the fall? A velvet trap against a concrete wall
(Chorus) I SCREAMED MY TRUTH IN A CROWD OF THOUSANDS! You heard the echo where the real silence stands! A spark in the dark, a forbidden sound Now I'm building my cage from the ground you gave me A CAGE OF VELVET, where they'll never save me!
(Verse 2) Whispered a secret in a room too loud The taste of confession, bitter and proud Then the door swung wide on a cheerful lie A smile that could make a real feeling die
(Pre-Chorus) They preach ""Know your place"" Is it in the shadows of a borrowed space? Is the only love allowed the kind that's ""pure""? A sanitized version, safe and obscure?
(Chorus) I SCREAMED MY TRUTH IN A CROWD OF THOUSANDS! You heard the echo where the real silence stands! A spark in the dark, a forbidden sound Now I'm building my cage from the ground you gave me A CAGE OF VELVET, where they'll never save me!
(Bridge) The spotlight fades to a domestic gloom A different kind of stage, a smaller room With well-meaning walls and a lock of guilt On every feeling that I've ever built Is this the price for being finally seen? To want what's real and drown in what's ""clean""?
(Guitar/Violin Solo: A furious, wailing duel between Alena's violin (soaring, pained) and an imagined distorted guitar (crushing, relentless). It's the argument they didn't have.)
(Outro Chorus - Slower, more defiant, layered with vocal fry and a final, sustained screech) I'LL SCREAM MY TRUTH TO AN EMPTY ROOM! The echo's mine now, blooming in the gloom! You felt the spark before they made it wrong So I'll build my cage and sing this fucking song! A CAGE OF VELVET… IS STILL A CAGE I OWN! A CAGE OF VELVET… FROM A SEED YOU'VE SOWN!
(Song ends on a final, dissonant chord from the synth and a last, fading violin note that cracks into silence.)

(Music starts: A single, distorted violin note, sustained and aching, then a slow, grinding bass line from Maya. Josie’s drums come in sparse, like a heartbeat in a silent room.)
(Verse 1) You build the stage, you set the light A perfect picture in the night You hand the mic, you nod your head ""Go on, my dear, show 'em,"" you said. I sang my truth, I sang my scars A constellation made of stars You gave me ground, you gave me sky Then watched me learn to fucking fly.
(Pre-Chorus) And the crowd screams like it's a prayer And the spotlight cuts the air But there's a hand upon my waist A different kind of aftertaste…
(Chorus) Is this the part where I say thanks? For pulling me back from the brink? Is this the part where I play tame? Inside this gilded, velvet cage? You built the bars and called them ""safe"" A sanctuary I can't erase I'm screaming songs you helped me write In borrowed, beautiful, fucking light.
(Verse 2) A sudden chill, a door swings wide A cheerful voice comes in inside A hug that feels like falling walls A smile that warns before it calls ""My two favorite stars,"" she beams And kills the future in my dreams The moment strangled, neat and clean The brightest fire I've ever seen.
(Pre-Chorus) And the whispers turn to shouts online A story that was yours and mine But now it's just a messy scene A ""what could have been"" on a screen…
(Bridge) I know my place. I know my name. Lena Screech. A flickering flame. A good girl with a borrowed crown Who knows enough to settle down. To smile sweet and take the bow And never ask for what is now Burning in my hollow bones… A fire that I built alone.
(Guitar Solo – Kacey: A furious, squealing, feedback-drenched solo that’s less melody and more rage, cutting over a pounding, double-time rhythm section.)
(Final Chorus – shouted, raw) IS THIS THE PART WHERE I SAY THANKS?! FOR PULLING ME BACK FROM THE BRINK?! IS THIS THE PART WHERE I PLAY TAME?! INSIDE THIS GILDED, VELVET CAGE?! YOU BUILT THE BARS AND CALLED THEM ""SAFE""! A SANCTUARY I'LL FUCKING BREAK! I'M SCREAMING SONGS YOU HELPED ME WRITE… BUT I'M TAKING BACK THE GODDAMN LIGHT!
(Outro) (Music drops to just Alena’s voice and a single, repeating, dissonant violin note)

CAGE OF VELVET (working title)
(Music: Starts with a single, clean, reverberating electric violin note, held until it distorts. A slow, grinding bass line enters, simple and relentless like a heartbeat. Drums are a sparse, echoing backbeat. Keyboard provides a shimmering, uneasy atmosphere.)
(Verse 1) Found a truth in the spotlight's burn A question asked that I can't return Echoes in the hollow of my bones A language spoken just in tones You said my name and the world went still A different kind of climb, a different hill.
(Pre-Chorus) And the crowd they screamed like they understood But they were screaming for the greater good Of rock and roll and a pretty lie Not the fracture in the corner of your eye…
(Chorus) Is this a rescue or a newer cage? Built of velvet words and backstage rage? You see the ghost that haunts my stage And fear you're just turning another page. A replacement beast, a familiar sin… Do I let this end before it can begin?
(Verse 2) They talk in hashtags, cheap and sweet Reducing chaos to a tidy tweet A mother's smile, a well-placed wall To ensure the sacred doesn't fall They sanitize the messy, bleeding part The silent scream that's tearing up my heart.
(Pre-Chorus) And I can play the daughter, meek and mild Or the rockstar screaming, fierce and wild But in the silence when the lights go down I'm just a girl standing in your town…
(Chorus) Is this a rescue or a newer cage? Built of velvet words and backstage rage? You see the ghost that haunts my stage And fear you're just turning another page. A replacement beast, a familiar sin… Do I let this end before it can begin?
(Bridge) I'm not a child. I'm not a ghost. I'm not the thing you fear the most. I'm just a woman in the afterglow… With a truth too dangerous to show. So build your wall and call it care. I'll be right here. I'll be right… HERE.
(Guitar Solo: Not a shredding showpiece, but a raw, screaming violin solo that mirrors the vocal line—full of bends, shrieks, and moments of fragile, clean melody. It sounds like an argument, like a plea, like a fight.)
(Final Chorus - vocals more raw, less melodic, almost spoken-sung over crashing drums) IS THIS A RESCUE OR A CAGE I MAKE? MY VELVET PRISON, MY OWN MISTAKE? I SEE THE DOUBT THAT HAUNTS YOUR GAZE AND I'M TERRIFIED OF MY OWN CRAZE! NOT A REPLACEMENT! A CHOICE! A SIN! DO WE LET THIS END… OR DO WE LET IT…
(Outro: Music cuts abruptly except for a fading, feedback-drenched hum from the violin. A final, whispered line.) …begin.

Title: Velvet Cage
(Music starts: A single, throbbing bass note, joined by a frantic, ticking hi-hat.)
(Verse 1) Found a spotlight, made of borrowed heat A borrowed stage for these borrowed feet You handed me the key with a steady hand *Said ""Go on, kid, this is your promised land"" I sang my father's ghost right through the floor And found I wasn't singing him anymore…
(Pre-Chorus) The truth's a tremor in a hollow bone A secret hummed when you're not alone They'll call it gratitude, they'll call it art They don't feel the fracture in my heart…
(Chorus) IN THIS VELVET CAGE YOU BUILT FOR ME! WITH WALLS OF PRAISE AND POLITE DECENCY! I SCREAM A NOTE THAT'S PURE AND CLEAR AND TRUE! AND ALL IT SCREAMS IS YOU! IS IT RESCUE OR IS IT A CRIME? TO WANT THIS FOR MORE THAN JUST THE TIME? IN THIS VELVET CAGE… I'M READY TO DIE… OR FLY…
(Verse 2) They'll say I'm confused, they'll say I'm young That what I felt got tangled on my tongue That I'm just chasing shadows of a man With any steady voice and a helping hand But when the music dies and the crowds all leave It's your quiet rumble that I still believe…
(Pre-Chorus) A rescued bird still knows the hunter's face A grateful heart can beat a traitor's pace So build your walls of ""what is right"" and ""should"" This cage is made of misunderstood…
(Bridge) (Music strips down to just bass and a stark, plucked violin melody) So let the rumors burn like cheap stage lights Let mothers clutch their pearls in sudden frights Let friends exchange their knowing, pitying glances… I'm done with all the safe and sweet romances. This isn't pretty. This isn't clean. It's the ugliest, truest thing I've ever seen…
(Guitar Solo - Raw, squealing feedback morphing into a soaring, painful melody. Drums and bass build to a frenzied peak.)
(Final Chorus - Screamed) IN THIS VELVET CAGE YOU BUILT FOR ME! YOUR WALLS OF PRAISE CAN'T HIDE WHAT I CAN SEE! I'LL SHATTER EVERY NOTE UNTIL IT'S TRUE! AND ALL IT SCREAMS IS YOU! IT'S NOT RESCUE! IT'S THE CRIME! I WANT IT FOR MORE THAN JUST THE TIME! SO SMASH THE CAGE… OR LET ME FLY… WITH YOU…

""Spotlight Serpent"" (Music: A driving, gritty punk rhythm with a distorted, squealing synth undercurrent. Alena's voice starts low and controlled, building to a raw-throated scream.)
(Verse 1) Found a truth in a bassline rumble Felt it crack the foundations I'd built on sand You handed me the mic like a loaded gun And I sang you the wreckage of who I am Yeah, I sang you the wreckage…
(Pre-Chorus) And the crowd roared like an ocean And I drowned in the sound of my name But your eyes were the only reflection That showed me the shape of the flame…
(Chorus) You're a spotlight serpent, coiled in the heat A beautiful danger laid right at my feet Your scales are the rumors, your fangs are the past And I know that this bite is gonna fucking last I'm a moth to your furnace, I'm begging for burns For every lesson a daughter never learns…
(Verse 2) Then she walked in with a smile like a suture Pulled the edges together so nothing shows A hug that feels like a velvet enclosure A love that quietly suffocates as it grows Yeah, it smothers as it grows…
(Pre-Chorus) And the room filled with cheap conversation And I smiled till my beak felt like stone Playing daughter in someone else's salvation While my own heart turned over alone…
(Bridge) Is it wrong if it feels like flying? Is it sick if it finally feels real? To want something that's worth the crying Instead of a wound I'm just supposed to heal? They'll call it a crush, call it daddy-issues in lace They don't see the woman staring back from your face…
(Guitar Solo - Raw, shrieking, full of feedback and pain, mimicking her violin screech but angrier.)
(Final Chorus - Screamed) YOU'RE A SPOTLIGHT SERPENT! COILED IN THE HEAT! A BEAUTIFUL DANGER LAID RIGHT AT MY FEET! YOUR SCALES ARE THE WHISPERS, YOUR FANGS ARE THE 'WHAT IF'! AND I'M READY TO TAKE EVERY POISONED KISS! I'M A MOTH TO YOUR FURNACE! I'M BEGGING TO BURN! FOR EVERY LESSON I'M FINALLY READY TO LEARN!
(Outro) (Music drops to just the gritty, repetitive bassline and a single, sustained synth note) So let them talk… Let them point… Let the story get twisted and told… The cage door is open… And my wings are unfoldin'… And I'm done doing what I'm told… (Final, defiant power chord.)

Title: Unspoken Setlist
(Verse 1) Found a rhythm in the stomping of your hooves on hollow ground. A foundation built on rumbles, not on any human sound. You tuned my frantic static to a key I could understand. Taught my wings to recognize the shelter of a steady hand.
(Chorus) And it’s not in the encore, or the spotlight’s blinding white. It’s the song we didn’t play in the velvet club tonight. It’s the measure of the silence when the final note is through… The duet I’m singing is only meant for you.
(Verse 2) They see a mentor’s shadow, or a father-shaped regret. They scribble their assumptions on a backstage cigarette. But the melody you sparked in me has nothing to do with them… It’s a predator’s lullaby, a slow and burning hymn.
(Chorus) And it’s not in the encore, or the headline’s cheap design. It’s the chord that’s hanging fractured on this jagged heart of mine. It’s the bridge we almost crossed before the house lights brightly grew… The truth I’m barely whispering is only meant for you.
(Bridge) Is it wrong to want an anchor made of muscle, fur, and fear? To crave a sanctuary that draws everybody near? A cage of someone else’s making I am desperate to get in… To trade my lonely freedom for a beautiful, original sin.
(Guitar Break – Imagined as a single, aching violin line, slow and yearning)
(Final Chorus) So this isn’t for the encore, or the crowd’s demanding cheer. It’s the track that’s on repeat when only I am left to hear. It’s the setlist of my secrets, printed in midnight’s deepest blue… This love song I am writing is only meant for you.
(Outro) Only meant for you… Only meant… …for you.

UNSAID
(Verse 1) Found a fortress in a rumble, a shelter in a storm. A steady beat where I was fragile, a silhouette so warm. You handed me the spotlight, said "Go on, steal the show." But the only thing I wanted was a place I didn't have to go.
(Chorus) And now the echo's in the silence, a vibration in the air. A truth too big for backstage whispers, a burden I can't share. They'll call it admiration, they'll say it's just the art. But you felt the foundation cracking right before the fall apart. It's all UNSAID… A ghost note in the melody inside my head…
(Verse 2) You see the years between us like a canyon, wide and deep. A guardian who's terrified of promises I'd keep. You talk of ""predatory"" and shadows you might cast, While I'm just mapping constellations from a history that's past.
(Bridge) I'm not a child seeking comfort, not a puzzle you can fix. I'm a woman with a wildfire built from all your practiced licks. You stoked the embers, Victor. You fed the hungry flame. Don't act surprised it's burning now, when you called out my name.
(Guitar Solo - Imagined as a raw, shrieking violin line that melts into a low, cello-like groan)
(Final Chorus) So let the echo BREAK the silence, let it shatter in the air! This truth is done with whispering, this burden I declare! It's NOT just admiration, it's NOT just fucking art! It's you and me and canyon-deep and this reckless, roaring heart! It won't stay UNSAID… This ghost note's gonna SCREAM until you hear it in your head…
(Outro) Until you hear it… In your head… Just like I do…

(Tempo: Slow, grinding, desperate. A heartbeat kick drum. A single, distorted violin line that aches.)
(Verse 1) Found a statue in a garden made of stone and older fears. I was just a broken fledgling, crying unfamiliar tears. You were solid, you were steady, a wall against the weather. Taught this bird to use her talons, to stitch her broken feathers.
(Pre-Chorus) And I grew… stronger in your shadow. Learned to sing… a louder tune. But the hunger… it came with me. A different phase… a darker moon.
(Chorus) Now I’m circling something fatal, tasting copper on the air. You’re the mountain I crash into, you’re the truth I cannot bear. It’s a wrong and right collision, it’s a debt I can’t repay. I’m in love with my salvation… and it’s looking back my way.
(Verse 2) They see mentor, they see monster, they see stories they can sell. They don’t see the quiet earthquake, or the slow, descending hell. Of wanting just to touch the fur where all my fears were calmed. To trade this stage-light brilliance for the place where I feel disarmed.
(Pre-Chorus) And it’s wrong… so fucking wrong now. A fire in… a sacred wood. But it’s real… this awful wanting. Understood… and misunderstood.
(Chorus) Now I’m circling something fatal, tasting copper on the air. You’re the mountain I crash into, you’re the truth I cannot bear. It’s a wrong and right collision, it’s a debt I can’t repay. I’m in love with my salvation… and it’s looking back my way.
(Bridge) Would you break your own commandments? Would you let the garden burn? For one taste of stolen thunder… For the lesson I can’t unlearn? I’m not that lost girl needing saving. I’m the storm I learned from you. And this storm… it has a target… And it’s breaking through.
(Guitar/Violin Solo – raw, shrieking, full of feedback and longing.)
(Outro) So let them talk of ships and stories… Let them whisper what they will. The only cage that ever held me… Is the one I’m in love with still. The only cage… I’m in love with still…
(Fade out on a single, sustained, dissonant violin note.)
