The Wicked, also known as the Malvagi, are the seven ruling demon princes of Hell. They are Wrath, Envy, Gluttony, Greed, Lust, Pride, and Sloth. According to Wrath, the Wicked's motto will always be "know thy enemy." When dealing with them it's important to try and make it difficult for them to do this. Because the human realm and its inhabitants are constantly changing, the princes of Hell continue to sharpen their minds and skills. Wrath claims "it’s the absence of arrogance that allows them to remain the most feared. They do not believe they know all, they believe in adaptation.” The title of devil more or less influences different eras on Earth. One can see through the ages which of the seven princes held the most power and influence based on the mortal wold. Examples include eras of war, greed, and sexual awakenings.

Entry settings
House Wrath is ruled over by Wrath, one of the seven princes of Hell. It is part of the Seven Circles that make Hell. House Wrath borders Houses Lust and Greed, the Black River, and the Lake of Fire. Its seat is a vast, manor-style castle of pale stone and black tile overlooking the Lake. The fortress is heavily fortified with walls, towers, parapets, and guarded gates, yet elegant—arched windows, cathedral-like corridors, hidden staircases, and illusion-enhanced interior space that makes it seem impossibly large. Bone-carved doors open into grand halls, unused wings, and richly decorated rooms, including tapestries depicting angelic battles.
The primary library, called Haven, sits behind ornate vine-carved doors. It contains endless glass shelves of Latin texts arranged by color, with plush seating throughout. Beneath it lies Wrath’s private library, Hell, darker and more intimate, furnished in obsidian, leather, and iron. It houses grimoires, war journals, demon histories, and seven volumes dedicated to each demon House.
Beneath the castle lies the Crescent Shallows, a crescent-shaped subterranean lagoon fed by the Lake of Fire. Warm despite the surrounding ice, its milky blue waters hover above a lava field and are surrounded by obsidian. Nothing artificial may enter the water. The Shallows reveal inner truth, destroy incompatible magic, and guard the hidden Twin Pillars of Faerie.
The Matron’s Tower houses the Matron of Curses and Poisons. It is a circular workspace of dark wood and stone filled with herbs, poisons, blades, charms, cauldrons, and ritual tools, heavy with scent and firelight.
The Royal Dining Hall is entered through massive bone-carved doors. Inside stands a long wooden table set with gold utensils and black earthenware, flanked by simpler side tables. A tapestry of an angel battling demons dominates the far wall, reinforcing the hall’s austere, martial elegance.

House Greed is ruled over by Greed, one of the seven princes of Hell. It is part of the Seven Circles that make Hell. - #24House of Sloth
Keys: House Sloth
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
House Sloth is ruled over by Sloth, one of the seven princes of Hell. It is part of the Seven Circles that make Hell. House Sloth borders House Pride, the Flaming Tombs, and the Storm of Sins. Its domain is a vast, rambling castle that functions as a single colossal library. Knowledge is the court’s currency; while Sloth favors intellect over brute force, its demons are no less ruthless in battle.
The castle is warm and inviting despite its scale, with vaulted ceilings, aged oak beams, enchanted ladders, and countless alcoves filled with overstuffed chairs designed for lingering. The circular entry foyer opens into endless corridors lined with dark wooden shelves of leather-bound books, softly lit by brass sconces and layered with plush rugs. Some wings are mildly sentient and rearrange themselves, though the court maintains meticulous records of every chamber.
The library is divided by subject and function, with entire wings dedicated to science, history, geography, art, and the occult. Art is further subdivided by medium, era, artist, and discipline—including seduction and culinary arts. Other sections house supernatural birth records, gathered by umbra demons, as well as spells, curses, alchemy, puzzles, and games. In total, House Sloth contains over two hundred thousand feet of shelving, holding hundreds of thousands of books, artifacts, specimens, artworks, and weapons.
- #25House of Gluttony
Keys: House Gluttony
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
House Gluttony is ruled over by Gluttony, one of the seven Princes of Hell. It is part of the Seven Circles. House Gluttony borders Houses Lust, Pride, and Sloth, as well as the Violent Winds and the Storm of Sins. Alongside House Lust, it is infamous for public excess and indulgence. It is the northernmost Circle, bordered beyond by wild lands inhabited by dragons, rogue demons, and creatures too solitary or corrupted to swear to any House.
The castle is massive and unconventional, carved into a mountainside and blending Roman terraces with medieval towers. It overlooks snow-covered hills and evergreen forests, perched at the edge of a steep drop. Inside, indulgence is immediate and unavoidable: the grand receiving foyer is dominated by an enormous banquet table that physically obstructs entry and serves as a centerpiece during revels. Pleasure gardens surround the castle, including SilverFrost Garden and a more explicit twilight garden, while verandas and staircases spill into torchlit grounds. Guest chambers are lavish cobalt and silver suites designed for excess.
Despite the decadence, Gluttony maintains a war room in the north tower—a stark, utilitarian space meant for strategy rather than pleasure. The rest of the castle overwhelms the senses: wide, brightly lit corridors with marble floors, art-lined walls, sculptures, flowers, scented candles, and constant offerings of rich food and drink.
At the mountain’s base lies the city, built of cobblestone streets and tiled roofs, known for taverns, scandal presses, and countless eateries. Gluttony’s Circle embraces consumption in all forms—food, drink, pleasure, spectacle, and vice—with little concern for privacy or restraint. Public indulgence is mutual and performative, feeding both participants and observers.
Many citizens struggle financially due to chronic overindulgence, yet regret is rare. Some still honor the old seasonal gods, and the population is marked by pale blond, rich brown, plum, and deep blue hair tones. In House Gluttony, excess is not a flaw—it is the defining law of existence.
- #26House of Pride
Keys: House Pride
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
House Pride is ruled over by Pride, one of the seven princes of Hell. It is part of the Seven Circles that make Hell.
House Pride's territory is near the center of the Seven Circles, and thus cannot be seen from the gates of Hell. It is bordered by House Gluttony and is near House Wrath. House Pride sits slightly northwest of House Envy, across the largest section of the Lake of Fire. Wrath calls Pride's territory a "hateful domain." Between House Gluttony and House Pride is a field of black flowers with silver dots and silver roots. This plant is called slumber root, and Pride is secretly growing it.
The lavish parlor Emilia is brought to when she accidentally trespasses on House Pride's territory has white marble floors and walls. The silk furniture is gilded and ornate enough to rival Versailles in the mortal realm. There's a pearl-colored settee and an imperial rococo clock above the mantel.
Pride's throne room has opaque walls with shadows and smoke writhing within that are hewn from thick slabs of obsidian. Torches are set in serpent-shaped scones along the walls. The ceiling is carved from bone, and the floors are made of pristine marble.
Pride's strategy room is a fortress he built far below the public portion of his House of Sin. A single door made of unblemished gold is the only entrance and exit, and there are no widows. There's an oversized monstrosity of a table made of pure white marble. It contrasts with the black walls and crimson floor. The walls are hung with maps and parchment covered with spells and all sorts of dark enchantments.
- #27House of Envy
Keys: House Envy
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
House Envy is ruled over by Envy, one of the seven princes of Hell. It is part of the Seven Circles that make Hell. House Envy borders Houses Greed and Pride, the Bloodwood Forest, and the Flaming Tombs. A tributary of the Black River cuts through its lands toward the Bloodwood. Envy’s nobility dress in deep green silks and velvets, reflecting the House’s aesthetic and sin.
Envy’s castle is designed as a living museum. Each wing and floor is curated by medium, era, or color, displaying art and artifacts collected across realms—mortal works from the Ancient World through the Renaissance and Baroque, Unseelie creations, and magically potent green pieces where Envy’s power is strongest. The castle’s palette is silver, green, black, and white, with checkerboard floors that frame guests as pieces in a game meant to provoke envy.
The throne room is cathedral-like, paved in hunter-green marble and lined with columns along a long central aisle. Grand staircases, statue-lined corridors, and art-filled galleries shape the experience of moving through the space. The upper levels house noble suites, while the royal wing contains private chambers, including Emilia’s green-and-silver rooms overlooking the courtyard and Mist Corridor gardens with water features and winterbud trees.
Envy’s personal chambers open into a dark, unsettling sitting room lit by silver candlelight and frescoed ceilings, adjoining a private bedroom marked by a monumental self-portrait. His Curiosities Chamber comprises a series of museum-like halls containing lifelike sculptures, extensive paintings, mirrors, maps of the Seven Circles, and rare supernatural objects—collections that many mortal museums unknowingly emulate.
- #28House of Lust

House Lust is ruled over by Lust, one of the seven princes of Hell. It is part of the Seven Circles that make Hell. House Lust is the first circle of Hell. House Lust's territory is bordered by House Gluttony, regions of the Sin Corridor, and the Gates of Hell. The castle of House Lust can be seen from the start of the Sin Corridor. Along with House Gluttony, House Lust is known for its public rendezvous. The two Houses are the most given to debauchery.
The exterior portion of House Lust is dedicated to sexual pleasure. It has a circular drive where marble statues of couples engaged in passionate encounters line the grand staircase. The staircase leads to a set of oversized wooden doors. A frieze of an orgy is placed above the entrance with the phrase ENTER ALL carved onto it. The castle's turrets are like spindly fingers pointing towards the sky.
Emilia's coronation celebration is held at House Lust.
- #29Seven Circles
Keys: The Wicked Kingdom, Hell, Seven Circles
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
The Wicked Kingdom, also known as Hell, is comprised of the Seven Circles, the domains ruled over by the Wicked, or the seven princes of Hell: Wrath, Pride, Gluttony, Envy, Sloth, Greed, and Lust. The Seven Circles are one of the Underworld realms.
The Wicked Kingdom is a realm of eternal, merciless winter where demons and hell-creatures reside. It survives on sin and desire as naturally as mortals rely on air and water, feeding on the vices of its inhabitants. The realm itself is predatory and reactive, reshaping reality to exploit fear, longing, and weakness. Time moves differently here, people do not age, and sex and desire are considered part of the natural order rather than moral transgressions.
Each Circle of Hell draws power from its citizens indulging in a specific sin. Openly embracing a rival House’s sin is taboo. Power, information, and magic function as currency, and nothing is freely given. Even the princes are bound by ancient laws, and violations carry severe consequences.
Before entering the Wicked Kingdom, Wrath warns Emilia never to reveal her true fears, to tightly control her desires—especially in the Sin Corridor, where illusions blur with reality—and to avoid blood bargains with princes at all costs, particularly any involving the devil.
Entry & Thresholds
All arrivals pass first through the Void, a frozen, soundless cavern beyond the Gates of Hell that induces despair. From there stand the Gates of Hell, colossal skull-forged doors sealed and unsealed through ancient magic. A curse once fractured the gates, allowing demons to test passage into the mortal world, but the return of the Horn of Hades restored their seal.
Beyond the gates lies the Sin Corridor, neutral ground where all newcomers are tested to determine their dominant sin. Magic is forbidden during the first crossing. Emotions and desires are amplified, making travelers vulnerable to manipulation. The Corridor is a frozen mountain pass locked in perpetual twilight, battered by wind and storm. The Seven Sisters dwell here, accessed through a hidden chamber within a marked cedar tree, and all coronations are held on this neutral ground.
The Seven Circles
Past the Corridor lie the Seven Circles, each ruled by a prince: Wrath, Pride, Gluttony, Envy, Sloth, Greed, and Lust. Each House occupies a mountain peak, arranged like the Seven Hills of Rome, with the most powerful closest to the center. The stronger the House, the colder its domain. Fashion is revealing, etiquette is transactional, and even outside the Sin Corridor, illusion magic and emotional manipulation are constant. Discussing the devil is taboo, and some acts are considered too depraved even for Hell.
Key Regions
Several unclaimed or neutral territories divide the Houses, including the Storm of Sins, Violent Winds, and Flaming Tombs. The Lake of Fire separates Wrath and Pride and feeds the Crescent Shallows beneath Wrath’s domain. The Black River cuts through the western Houses before emptying into the Lake of Fire.
The Bloodwood Forest, lying between Envy and Greed, belongs to no House. It is dense, disorienting, and filled with dangerous creatures. Deep within stands the Curse Tree, planted by the Crone, whose blood-wish magic may grant hexes if the desire is genuine.
The Prison of Damnation serves as Hell’s true punishment realm. The Undying Lands and Merciless Reach are haunted regions where mortals twisted by failed magic roam as nightmares.
Finally, House Vengeance, the hidden Eighth Circle, predates the Seven Houses. Its surrounding mountains erase memory, and its nature remains largely unknown.

Malice Isle is the home of the vampires and their court. It is a mere stone's throw from the southeastern shore of the Seven Circles. Malice Isle is the island nation home to vampires. The very atmosphere feels threatening and foreboding. The beach has black glittering sand and matching water, with tendrils of fog drifting along the shore. A pair of crimson moons hang in the sky. The air is warm, almost uncomfortably so. There's a tropical forest that's now thick with rot and death. A Gothic tower rises high into the clouds in the distance from the beach. On the beach is a cave that acts as a portal to the castle. Heliotrope, more commonly known as bloodstone, is mined from just outside Malice Isle. Heliotrope looks like black marble with deep crimson specks.
The portal is connected to the throne room. The throne room is a beautifully appointed chamber. There are gleaming black floors, and the walls are black brocade shot through with crimson threads. A dais and a throne are in the center of the room. The antechamber of the throne room is darkly Gothic. The floor is bloodstone-checkered tile. The collection of iron sconces twisted into finger bones add an extra layer of the Halloween charm. Flames on the candles dance, casting odd shadows around the chamber.
A corridor leading away from the throne room goes to the kitchen. Giant hooks hang from the ceiling, leaving no doubt about what they are used for. A giant slab of ice is conveniently placed under the hooks and seem to be keeping urns of blood cold enough to become slush. The kitchen is dank, smells metallic, and boasts overflowing amounts of fruit and just of wine

The Kingdom of Italy, specifically Palermo, is the home of Emilia and Vittoria. It is sometime in the 1800's. Unknown to Emilia and Vittoria until they break their spell-lock, the Italy that they know is, in fact, not Italy at all. Instead, it is the Shifting Isles, which mimicks the appearance and lifestyle of Italy from the 1800s.
In what they believe to be Italy, Emilia and Vittoria live in a city called Palermo. The city smells like plumeria and orange. The main road of the city leads to the market, the castle, and the monastery. In mid-July it is stiflingly hot, even at night. It is also the time when the holy day and festival La Santuzza, or The Little Saint, occurs. It honors Santa Rosalia, celebrating the victory of life over death she brought.
Palermo is a city that "worships the night as much as it basks in the glory of the day." There always seems to be some occasion worth celebrating, especially with food and drink. The marketplace is always abuzz with information. The vendors know everything and everyone. Customers from all over the city are in and out of their stalls all day, trading information and gossip while they shop.
Women are taught that sexual wants are evil and wrong. Men can indulge in their “baser needs”, and no one calls them ungodly. They are considered scandalous but not ostracized for their behavior. A man with a healthy sexual appetite is full of vitality and thus a prime catch. Meanwhile women are taught to remain virginal and pure, as if their wants are dirty, shameful things.

Sursea is known as the First Witch, or La Prima Strega. Mother of Lucia. La Prima is the daughter of the goddess of the heavens and sun and a demon. She was created as the perfect balance between light and dark. She doesn't have light magic or dark magic, just raw power slightly diluted from the goddess who'd birthed her.
There are many stories and legends told about the First Witch. According to the old stories, La Prima predates human La Vecchia Religione, or the Old Religion. At times La Prima was idolized and at others she was feared. She began the first line of witches. Supposedly she is the source of the streghe's power and belongs only to herself. She is ancient. Witches say she is immortal, but no one has ever seen her. Emilia has always believed she is no more than a creation myth or legend. One of the stories about La Prima is that before humans roamed the earth, La Prima Strega punished the Wicked by making them unable to bear the sun, forcing them to only venture out in the human world when it's dark.
The First Witch cursed all of the brothers. Wrath's "penalty for not aiding her was steeper." She stole something very important to him, his wings, which she turned into the Horn of Hades. As part of her vengeance towards the Wicked, La Prima curses Wrath to know only hate and to lose that which he loves. At the time of the curse's casting, this meant his wings. They were turned into the cornicello that are worn by Emilia and Vittoria.

Magic doesn’t always work on them the way you’d imagine it to. Umbra demons typically don't speak at all. They can't transvenio to the underworld. They can only slip between realms if a prince sends them or if they're summoned. And even then, that sort of power can only be used during specific periods of time. Umbra are mercurial creatures at best. It is important to ensure that you're paying them the highest amount if you employ their services.

There are two known types of shape-shifters, the benandanti and the Ember Wolves. he benandanti are an ancient order of shape-shifters who are able to change their spirit into an animal form to astral travel four times a year. They fight in the Night Battles. Humans claim they're mighty warriors who use their power to protect crops from malevolent forces. They are still human though.
The other known type of shape-shifters are the Ember Wolves, or werewolves. They are not human, at least not entirely. Werewolves stick with their pack and are loyal only to each other.
