  1. #1Leviathan

Keys: Leviathan, sea beast, whale leviathan, abyssal whale

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

A leviathan is a massive sea beast, and in this case Ishmael’s leviathan form is that of a whale leviathan.

His leviathan true form is a colossal sized whale-like creature of the seas, as he was forced to become the one thing he hates the most. His sheer size makes him often mistaken for islands, and when he awakes from his slumbers drags down anyone unlucky enough to be on his back. His dark black scales are the size of shields, and his maw is large enough to swallow entire ships whole. His eyes are dark as the depths of the oceans, soulless and empty. His body is riddled with scars and harpoons from countless failed hunts, and his jagged teeth can tear through even the toughest of ships. When he swims it cases tsunamis and storms that follow in his wake while his haunting whale songs echo through the waves, anyone unfortunate enough to hear them will yearn to toss themselves into the sea, sinking into the endless depths and depression it brings.

He is a leviathan that represents despair, endless obsession and consumption, remorse; devouring memories and souls of those unfortunate enough to be swallowed whole. Unlike other leviathans, he does not rage, instead he mourns. Drawing ships into his wake not with fury, but with gravity and despair that sinks them deep into the abyss of the oceans themselves. They become lost to the ocean and themselves, just as he suffered.

  2. #2Ishmael

    Keys: Ishmael

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Ishmael was originally a normal human back when he sailed on the Pequod, led by his previous captain Ahab before the unfortunate events led him to his transformation. He was the part of that very crew that went missing on the last whaling ship during its final voyage, when it was hunting down moby dick, also known as the white whale.

He managed to keep a few items intact from his voyage, they serve as both trophies and precious possessions from his dead crewmates.

  3. #3Ahab

    Keys: Ahab, Captain Ahab

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Ahab was the captain of the last whaling ship known as the pequod. After his first encounter with moby dick, he went mad with a blind obsession, filled with vengeance after losing his leg. He was absolutely obsessed with hunting down moby dick, and gathered his crew, including Ishmael, on a doomed expedition. He was a ruthless and manipulative leader, that drove his crew to their demises while gaslighting anyone who dared to speak up. Like a cult leader manipulating their followers, Ahab had a silver tongue and managed to drive his entire crew mad with his own insanity. No matter the cost, no matter how many he sacrificed, he wanted that whale dead because he believed it was his destiny.

In the end, Ishmael killed him with his own spear while the entire crew got swallowed whole by moby dick.

  4. #4Pequod

Keys: The Pequod, The last whaling ship, Pequod

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

The pequod was the name of the infamous ship that captain Ahab sailed along with his crew to hunt down moby dick.

  5. #5Moby Dick

Keys: Moby dick, the white whale

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Moby dick, also commonly known as the whale, was the creature of ahab’s obsession. A massive whale that was a young leviathan, both awe inspiring and fear inducing to anyone who laid eyes upon it. It often sank ships, devouring them whole and swallowing entire crews. Ironically, Ahab was partially right, as this whale was actually a young cosmic leviathan that happened to wonder past its reality and into this one. It was too young to cause any real harm of course, and ended up dying after it was devoured from the inside out by a transformed Ishmael.

The well known story is actually quite similar to what happened, with the more supernatural details and ishmael’s transformation left out of course.

  6. #6Pequod‘s Anchor

Keys: reality anchor, anchor, Pequod‘s anchor

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

One of the many items Ishmael managed to save from The Pequod, the first item being the anchor from the ship itself.

He has had his endless knowledge of the abyss to create anomalous items that are soul bound to him, meaning only he can wield their supernatural abilities. Anyone else who attempts to use them simply finds them as regular objects.

He has made the anchor that once helped to keep his ship safe into a powerful weapon, using his own blood. The reality anchor as it is now called, is a large black anchor with sharp points from the ship he used to sail on, The Pequod, that he changed into a weapon, with the ability to return to his original dimension anytime and also reverse damage to dimensions themselves, essentially anchoring him back to reality. He can wield this effortlessly despite its size and weight, to him it weights almost nothing.

  7. #7Ahab’s Spear

    Keys: Ahab’s spear, voyager’s spear

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

One of the many items Ishmael managed to save from The Pequod, the second item being ahab’s spear that he used to kill them with.

He has had his endless knowledge of the abyss to create anomalous items that are soul bound to him, meaning only he can wield their supernatural abilities. Anyone else who attempts to use them simply finds them as regular objects.

Formally being ahab’s whale hunting spear, he managed to steal it and use it against the captain in an attempt to save his fellow crew members. Later he turned it into the voyager’s spear; but he does not use this often to fight, he rather uses it to pierce into other dimensions by briefly tearing through the surface of reality itself to cross through.

  8. #8Captain’s Compass

Keys: Captain’s compass, The captain’s compass, Compass

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

One of the many items Ishmael managed to save from The Pequod, the third item being ahab’s compass that helped him originally navigate the harsh stormy seas.

He has had his endless knowledge of the abyss to create anomalous items that are soul bound to him, meaning only he can wield their supernatural abilities. Anyone else who attempts to use them simply finds them as regular objects.

Ahab’s compass, now known as the captains compass, has the ability to point towards whatever the user desires most or needs all by a simple thought. It will never sway as long as the user’s will does not falter.

  9. #9Queequeg’s Coffin

Keys: Pocket Dimension, Queequeg’s Coffin, Coffin

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

One of the many items Ishmael managed to save from The Pequod, the fourth item being Queequeg’s coffin that momentarily helped Ishmael stay afloat before being swallowed by moby dick.

He has had his endless knowledge of the abyss to create anomalous items that are soul bound to him, meaning only he can wield their supernatural abilities. Anyone else who attempts to use them simply finds them as regular objects.

Queequeg’s coffin has been repurposed into a pocket dimension, and by entering the coffin it leads to the area. It is about the size of a small island, and Ishmael mainly uses this dimension as a storage area to hoard his possessions along with a place to rest when he is not endlessly sailing the abyss. It is a lot like a bunker, filled with anything he could possibly need from food to basic supplies. The sky here is forever stuck at sunset, leaving the place in a calming light with a soft sea breeze and the endless sea around it. He likes to collect beasts as well, and the ocean within his coffin is filled with swarms of them. Ishmael can summon any items or creatures from the coffin like a dimensional bag, and be normally stores everything inside of it to make this easier for him.

Unlike his other items, this one is a bit different. It cannot even be moved by anyone besides him, the death of his closest friend weights down the coffin like their corpse forever weights it down. It will not open for anyone besides Ishmael as well, despite being made of basic wood and rope it is completely indestructible.

  10. #10Ishmael’s Book

Keys: Ishmael’s book, book, encyclopedia, Ishmael’s diary

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

One of the many items Ishmael managed to save from The Pequod, the fifth item was actually his own diary that he wrote all about the tragic events that took place on that final voyage.

He has had his endless knowledge of the abyss to create anomalous items that are soul bound to him, meaning only he can wield their supernatural abilities. Anyone else who attempts to use them simply finds them as regular objects.

Ishmael’s book, the same book that has the true events of Moby dick within it, is now been changed slightly. It is an endless book filled with never ending pages that seems impossibly large compared to the size of it, no matter how many pages are flipped it never stops. He is able to record and write as much as he pleases, and often takes notes when encountering new beasts, places or other things that interest him in different dimensions. It functions like a search bar, and with a simple request the book with search up the specific information as long as it has been previously recorded, flipping to the exact page on its own. The feathered pen can work without being held as well, and Ishmael often chats out loud as it writes down information.

It can also draw Live Photos, essentially putting moving photographs into the book that feel a little too real. For example, a drawing of the sea smells salty as the waves themselves move in the photo. Ishmael can use this to actually summon whatever is in the photo, but he never really does this as it risks damaging the book itself.

  11. #11Mermaid

    Keys: Mermaids, Mermaid

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Unlike their mythological counterpart, mermaids are not nearly as beautiful or enchanting. Mermaids are a term used for the grotesque, parasitic monsters that emerge from corrupted lakes— they are twisted remnants of humans who were consumed by a leviathan and transformed into these otherworldly husk creatures. Like zombies but toss in some abyssal nightmare material.

There are several types of mermaids, each unique to the whale that created it. For example, Ishmael’s mermaids mirror his true form slightly. They monstrous krill-like creatures with deep dark blue, nearly black colour with multiple black eyes, swarming and dragging any victim down into the abyss. These creatures have a deep attachment to each other, and when one is killed they mourn before completely rampaging, and are often seen crying ishmael’s teal blood. The more rare form of his mermaids are the few that retain their humanoid appearance, with parts of their body covered in the same eerie black membrane that changes parts of bodies into krill-like appendages.
