Hutt Space, also known as the Hutt sector, is an autonomous region of the galaxy on the border between the Mid Rim and the Outer Rim Territories, near the entrance to Wild Space. It encompassed the Si'Klaata Cluster, and bordered on the Tion Hegemony. Hutt Space is named for the Hutt species, who dominated the region. Reasonable estimates of controlled planets are from a few hundred to a thousand inhabited worlds. Hutt Space is what remained of the ancient Hutt Empire. The Hutt Ruling Council controlled the region by overseeing the activities of the Hutt clans (kajidics) and their criminal syndicates. It's a lawless expanse within the Outer Rim Territories that was controlled by the most powerful and corrupt of Hutt clans. It holds an infamous reputation due to the widespread smuggling, piracy and open criminal activity. The heart of the region contained the Bootana Hutta, the "Garden of the Hutts", an area containing the various Kajidic throneworlds. - #10Knights of Ren
Keys: Knights of Ren, Knights of Ren's, Knight of Ren, Knight of Ren's
The Knights of Ren were an enclave of masked dark side warriors that adhered to the ways of the Ren, a religious philosophy epitomized by the lightsaber. A band of marauders and mercenaries from the Unknown Regions, the Knights roamed the galaxy causing wanton destruction. Imbued with the power of the Force, they were devotees of the dark side which they referred to as the "shadow" in addition to their inherent abilities, the Knights of Ren were armed for ranged and close-quarter combat, making them fearsome opponents in battle. The Knights hailed from the galaxy's Unknown Regions, where their name and reputation inspired centuries of cautionary tales about the dangers lurking in uncharted space. Though local folklore warned of the marauders known as the Knights of Ren, the exact origins of their modern incarnation remained mysterious, for they were either directly connected to that ancient tradition or wrapping themselves in the legacy of legends. The Knights of Ren were neither Jedi nor Sith. They were imbued with the power of the Force, though not to the extent of the aforementioned Jedi or Sith. Although the Knights of Ren existed alongside the Sith during the Imperial Era, they were not allied. The Knights' lack of formal training hindered their connection to the Force, nevertheless, the Knights had a connection to the dark side of the Force. As such, other Force-sensitives could sense the cold presence of the dark side when in close proximity to the Knights of Ren. Despite their untamed state, the Knights were considered comparable to the Galactic Empire's Inquisitorius. In combat the dark side surged through the Knights despite possessing only slight Force abilities. Darth Vader was unimpressed by their battle skills and basic use of the dark side. Vader saw the Knights as a clumsy and untrained group after besting six of them with the Force. He compared their use of the dark side to the way one used a hammer, whereas Vader, a former Jedi Knight and a trained Lord of the Sith, wielded the dark side as a blade. The Sith Lord Darth Sidious concurred with Vader's assessment of the Knights' skills, but he defended them as well, stating that some tasks required a "blunt instrument" rather than a precision based weapon. Membership in the Knights of Ren was gained through ritual sacrifice; the prospective Knight had to choose a "worthy target" to kill. The completion of this rite was referred to as "a good death." Force-sensitivity was another qualification for joining the Knights, who only accepted Force-sensitive beings due to their inherent ability to connect to the dark side of the Force. Even if a non-Force user was more inclined to their way of thinking than a potential recruit, the Knights would sooner kill them than accept one who could not feel the Force. The death requirement for joining the Knights could be either a personal sacrifice, such as the killing of a family member, or a victory over an opponent in battle. The Knights also stipulated that the recruit had to willingly kill their target; therefore, they rejected deaths that occurred by accident or through hesitation. Eligible candidates who paid that price became part of the group; whereas those who failed would be killed. The Knights of Ren did not adhere to any code. They were willing to do anything to prevail; as such the Knights lived a flexible lifestyle, doing whatever they pleased. They believed that everything they gained was given to them by the dark side. The Ren, a lightsaber possessed by their leader, also known as Ren, symbolized the leadership over the Knights. The nature of the Ren, according to thr first Ren, was that it just existed. It had no conscience, neither acknowledging or expressing concepts such as morality, regret or concern for what it might destroy. All of the Knights, including Ren himself, followed the lightsaber and what it represented in their view. The Knights concealed their faces beneath ominous masks. The Knights purposely shielded their features with masks and battle helms, using theatricality to enhance their fearsome appearance and generate greater levels of terror in their opponents. They believed that anonymity equaled intimidation, for their victims would project the most terrifying nightmares into the absent faces of the Knights who struck them down. In situations where intimidation did not suit their purpose. Each helmet was unique to the individual Knight. Each Knight was armed with a unique and lethally effective weapon, suited to both close-quarter and long range combat.

Order 69 is a program started by the nascent Empire to secretly capture all female Jedi and turn them into sex slaves, broodmares to be impregnated, either naturally by hand-picked Clone Troopers, Stormtroopers, or Imperial Officers, or artificially using genetic material harvested from slain male Jedi, in order to produce an army of Force-Users under the Empire's control. Order 69 is based in the Imperial facility known as Delta Temple on the planet of Aruta. Delta Temple is an Imperial black site, built specifically to imprison Jedi. The facility is deep within the Galactic Core, a place scrubbed from most every Imperial star chart. The walls of the cells are made of reinforced durasteel, and contain specialized sonic technology designed to cause migraines that prevent the Jedi prisoners from focusing. The entire facility smells of ozone and sterile metal, while the cells are thick with the smell of incense used to calm the prisoners. The bonds holding the prisoners are not ropes, but specialized magnetic restraints lined with cortosis weave, a material known to dampen the connection to the Force. The planet it is located on, Aruta, is an oppressively humid jungle world in the Galactic Core, from which the dark stone of Delta Temple rises like a jagged obsidian tooth, constructed in the style of an ancient Sith ziggurat despite being a modern construction. The program is overseen by Minister Ro. One of Palpatine's dark side acolytes, the Everni male known simply as "Ro" appears to be in his late forties, but is still strong and spry, and a powerful force sensitive, equal to the Jedi Masters of the Council. Ro possessed a number of mental quirks, most notably an inability to view people as people. Ro is a master geneticist, and the High Overseer of Delta Temple on Aruta. Evereni were a humanoid species with slate-gray skin, long bones, and thick dark gray blood. The coal-black eyes of an Evereni saw better in the dark than humans, although their eyes still took a moment to adjust to darkness. Their bodies were especially tough, but still susceptible to intense cold. Evereni had sharp black claws and sharp white teeth, both of which could be used to tear flesh. Their nails and teeth were as sharp as razors. Red hair streaks were a sign of aging for the Evereni.

Keys: Mining Guild, Galactic Mining Guild's, Mining Guild's, Galactic Mining Guild
The Mining Guild, also known as the Galactic Mining Guild, was a powerful network of miners that harvested and controlled natural resources throughout the galaxy. Initially a part of the Commerce Guild, it was aligned with the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars before collaborating with Galactic Empire during its reign. During the Imperial Era, the Mining Guild openly collaborated with the Galactic Empire, offering raw materials to the Imperial war machine at discounted prices.[6] In exchange, the guild was permitted to use a modified variant of the Imperial TIE/ln starfighter.[20] The guild was also able to maintain control over its own mining operations instead of losing that control to the Empire.[15] The Mining Guild protected spice mining on the planet Kessel, the origin point for most of the galaxy's spice supply.[21] The mines themselves were worked by slaves of the Pyke Syndicate[22] or Empire, which also played a role in Kessel security. Thanks to its association with the Empire, the Guild was allowed to use a special variant of the Imperial TIE fighter modified with a yellow color scheme and 2 notches out of the wings.[20] For more security purposes, the Mining Guild also used yellow Aurore-class freighters[11] and X4 Gunships.[7] On Lothal[8] in around 1 BBY,[28] the Mining Guild utilized ore crawlers for the scouring of the terrain for raw materials,[8] as well as Mining Guild excavation drillers for large scale operations.[29] For security on the crawlers, yellow IG-RM droids with weak audio receptors were used.[30] The Mining Guild also used phase connectors.
- #16Commerce Guild
Keys: Commerce Guild, Commerce Guild's, Commerce Guilds

- #17Death Watch
Keys: Death Watch, Death Watch's, Kyr'tsad's, Kyr'tsad
The Death Watch—or Kyr'tsad in Mando'a—is a Mandalorian splinter group founded by Tor Vizsla, who opposed Jaster Mereel's Supercommando Codex. Their primary goal was to return the Mandalorians to their ancient roots as galactic crusaders, and advocated the savage raider mentality of past Mandalorians. The Death Watch scattered and seemingly disbanded until the beginning of the Clone Wars when they reemerged under the leadership of Pre Vizsla, targeting Duchess Satine Kryze of the New Mandalorians. Striking from their hidden base on Mandalore's moon, Concordia, they orchestrated several terrorist attacks on New Mandalorian cities and Kalevala while garnering support from the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Eventually, when they allied themselves with Darth Maul and the Shadow Collective, they successfully took control of Mandalore from Duchess Kryze. Maul then killed Pre Vizsla, and the Death Watch splintered into two factions—those who gave their loyalty to Maul and those who refused to follow an outsider, led by Bo-Katan Kryze. When Spar founded the Mandalorian Protectors as Mandalore the Resurrector, the Death Watch went into hiding again, under the leadership of Lorka Gedyc, but resurfaced again during the Galactic Civil War, operating out of a base on Endor.
- #18Mandalorians
Keys: Mandalorian, Mando'ade, Mandalorians, Mandalorian's
The Mandalorians—known in Mando'a as the Mando'ade—are clan-based culture composed of members from multiple species and bound by a common creed, language, and code. Known primarily as highly-effective mercenaries and bounty hunters, Mandalorians as a socio-cultural group have at various points in galactic history played a major role as legendary warriors and conquerors. As prideful warriors, they held combat as the cornerstone to their culture, their individual identity, and spirit. Mandalorians shared a strong code of honor and martial tradition. Mandalorians sought single combat for settling disputes or simply for the glory of fighting a great opponent. Mandalorian clan structure was like a pyramid, with the ruler, or Mand'alor, at the top and the Mandalorian Protectors enforcing their rule. Below them were the political factions known as houses, which were made up of family clans. Though Mandalorians are usually human, few can be non-human. To become a Mandalorian, one needed to do was follow the Mandalorian Creed. Followers of the Creed viewed the foundlings as the future, and any Mandalorian with a foundling in their care was duty-bound to reunite it with their kind or to raise them, acting as the child's parent. When a foundling came of age, if he or she had not yet been reunited with its kind, they could decide to leave or join the Mandalorians, and become an apprentice. According to Creed, saving a foundling is the highest honor. The weapons are part of a Mandalorian's religion. Mandalorian armor has a legendary reputation feared across the galaxy and was visually distinctive with its honeycomb plate patterns and menacing T-shaped visors. The signature innovation of the Mandalorians was the mining and tempering of beskar, metal found only on Mandalorian worlds. Beskar was also used to forge weapons such as crushgaunts and beskads. Mandalorian warriors are equipped with jetpacks, magnetized boots, heads-up displays, and vambraces that featured weaponry and tools designed to combat the Force abilities. The Mandalorians are very protective of their armor and the beskar, refusing to give it to anyone not related to the warrior culture.

But smuggling was just the tip of the iceberg of the galaxy-wide organization; It's involved in every known type of illegal activity. Its information networks, which reached even the garrisons and intelligence offices of the Empire, rivaled even the accuracy and scope of Imperial Intelligence. The resources available to Black Sun rivaled those belonging to a large planetary army, including foot soldiers. Below the leader of Black Sun were nine Vigos who coordinated their tens of thousands minions of the organization. Each Vigo ruled over his or her own territory and sector. - #20Zann Consortium
Keys: Defilers, Defiler, Zann Consortium, Zann
The Zann Consortium is a consortium and crime syndicate led by Tyber Zann. During the course of the Galactic Civil war, it amassed considerable power and wealth, eventually becoming a major nuisance—and even threat—to both the Empire and the Rebellion. The Zann Consortium gained most of its technology through its affiliation with the black market, and its Defilers, which were known for traveling to hostile systems and setting up illegal outposts which promoted piracy and sabotage. The Zann Consortium uses its extensive crime network to influence the warring factions, siphon their credits, and sabotage their operations when necessary. It deals in multiple illegal operations, such as establishing widespread racketeering jobs on many worlds; bribery, piracy, slavery, and corrupting local militia on planets, as well as intimidating or kidnapping individuals who defied the Consortium. One particular means of income was offering military protection to planets that wanted no part in the ongoing Galactic Civil War. They also extorted money from miners. The Consortium also constructed palaces on various worlds to serve as its financial centers. The Consortium has several unique technologies at it's disposal, including buzz droids and stealth generators, that allowed undetected movement across the galaxy. The Zann Consortium uses starfleets in space combat, utilizing both black-market technology as well as their own. Most of these were built at Consortium space stations. Though the Zann Consortium has a surprisingly well-equipped and organized military force, they generally preferred to use guerrilla warfare tactics or criminal activities to gain influence. Defilers are soldiers of the Zann Consortium employed as "undercover agents" dispatched to various systems to promote piracy and sabotage. Defilers would sabotage bases, set up connections with the black market, set up slave camps, steal credits, etc. What they are most familiar for was spreading the influence of Zann. Defilers are usually armed with a precise blaster rifles and thermal detonators, and preferred long-range combat. They worked well with the Droideka Mark II in destroying heavier vehicles, and could use their thermal detonators to kill entire squads of infantry. The Jensaarai is an order of Force-users from the Suarbi system, who arose during the Clone Wars. Their name is Sith for "followers of the hidden truth." Their philosophy and methodology was a blend of Sith and Jedi teachings. Their hierarchy loosely resembled that of the Jedi Order. During its creation and early years the Jensaarai were opposed to the Jedi, due to ignorance and the loss of their founder. Jensaarai philosophy and abilities are syncretistic; the mixture of Jedi and Sith teachings complemented each other perfectly. From their Jedi roots they are deeply honorable, disciplined, and respected those same traits in their enemies. From the Sith they learned the power of aggression, though not to the point of the dark side. One Jedi ideal the Jensaarai never abandoned is the defense of peace and justice. The Jensaarai fight with lightsabers, and are familiar with the lightsaber forms of combat. But they mostly focus on constructing their brass-coloured Sith-inspired combat armor. The Jensaarai constructed their lightsabers at an earlier stage in their training and see the construction of their armor as more important. Their armor is highly flexible suit of light armor, covered in spun cortosis fibers, capable of protecting a Jensaarai from lightsaber attacks. Though not a rule, it's common practice for armor to be styled on animals that are capable of adequately protecting themselves, such as a reek or Corellian sand panther. There were three ranks amongst the Jensaarai: apprentices, defenders, and the Saarai-kaar. The Saarai-kaar serves as leader of the Jensaarai.

Antislavery laws were repealed and legislation legalizing the persecution of aliens was passed. The vast majority of the government officials are composed of Humans, with only rare exceptions like Grand Admiral Thrawn climbing in the ranks of the military. It was led by a guildmaster who held members to the Bounty Hunters' Creed, the unwritten rules of the bounty hunters. Its rules were the laws that kept bounty hunters together, but the guild was full of loose cannons, who would often break the rules for their own benefit. The guild was more a coalition of the professionals than a proper organization, and rivalries between its houses were a common occurrence. The bounty hunters who joined the guild had the benefit of notifications of bounty postings before they were broadcast through official channels, which gave guild members a head start. Many Imperial agents preferred to deal exclusively with guild bounty hunters.
The Bounty Hunters' Guild was composed of many smaller guilds that operated nearly independently. Those guilds were loosely held together by the overarching Bounty Hunters' Guild, each with its own organization, regulation, specialties and agendas. The project resulted in the discovery of the Blackwing virus, also known as "the Sickness," an infectious viral agent which was accidentally created while working on an experiment to revive necrotic tissue in a secret research facility located on Dandoran.
Project Blackwing was created by Sith scientists using science and Sith alchemy from the Galactic Empire's Imperial Military Department of Advanced Weapons Research division, it was initially designed to achieve immortality. The virus was accidentally created while working on an experiment to revive necrotic tissue; however, it killed its hosts instead, attacking their biological tissue and turning their lifeless bodies into cannibalistic, brutal zombies.
The virus was then known as "the Sickness" or the Blackwing virus, and altered the body's stamina and strength, making its host move slower than they did prior to exposure but increasing their resilience to physical damage, allowing victims to take punishment which would be more critical or possibly even fatal to the being of origin without falling. They also seemed to experience a change in skin texture, with human hosts' skin being altered to a grayish-green color. The virus communicated with itself and allowed the zombies to act as a single entity and to learn things from the survivors, including how to utilize blasters, operate turrets, and pilot starships.
Undead Troopers were stormtroopers of the Galactic Empire who had been infected by the viral agent known as the Sickness and between the Battle of Yavin and the Battle of Hoth an outbreak of the virus occurred. After dying a painful death, those troopers had been turned into mindless, walking corpses with cannibalistic urges. Studies revealed that, because of the infection, Undead Troopers were slower than living humans, but had an improved ability to sustain damage.
The virus allowed the Undead Troopers to communicate telepathically and learn. Acting as one, the Undead Troopers were willing to organize themselves into a deadly swarm and launch coordinated strikes on Imperial and Rebel Alliance forces alike. They even managed to reprogram and hack turret controls and security measures at fallen sectors to their advantage. This gave them the ability to fortify overrun bases against possible counter strikes, using blaster cannons, walls, and shield generators to fight off hostile contacts. Imperial scout troopers and Heavy Weapons Stormtroopers that succumbed to the illness were classified as Scout Undead Troopers and Heavy Undead Troopers, respectively. Their level of skill and coordination earned them the nickname "Army of the Dead".
- #31Nightsisters
Keys: Nightsisters, Nightsister, Nightsister's
The Nightsisters, also known as the Witches of Dathomir or the Nightsister acolytes, were a clan and ancient order of magick-wielding women, most of whom were Dathomirian Zabraks, who lived on Dathomir, a planet bathed in dark energies. These dark side users were able to perform their arcane magicks by tapping into the magical ichor that flowed from the depths of their planet.
By tapping into the magical ichor that flowed from Dathomir's depths, the witches could harness a power they referred to as "magick." The most powerful of the Nightsisters could use that ichor to create objects out of thin air, transform people into ghostly versions of their true forms, or even reanimate the dead. They were also known to domesticate benign rancors. Maul identified magick as an aspect of the Force.
Although the Jedi and Sith would view their powers as residing in the dark side of the force, the Nightsisters' study differed from the power hungry ambitions of the Sith or the seeking of knowledge of the Jedi Order. In actuality, they made little distinction between the light and the dark, though their techniques were frequently dark in nature. Nightsisters' viewed everything such as animals, weapons like the energy bows, and even the Nightbrothers as tools to ensure their clan's ultimate survival and would bend or discard such tools without remorse, pity, and regret. Due to this mindset, they could avoid the passions and rage that swayed the Sith while wielding powers a Jedi withheld tapping into.
Some Nightsisters believed in the Winged Goddess, a deity of life, fertility, and divination, while some others believed in the Fanged God, a deity of death and the hunt. The Nightsisters did not celebrate death, but did not fear it and saw it as a part of life, with the divide being a veil that they would all eventually pass through.
Most Nightsisters were Dathomirian, but members of other species could be part of the coven. Several studies indicated that the Nightsisters were a peaceful tribe who lived in harmony with their planet, but this was not true. The Nightsisters of Dathomir lived in the seclusion of a stone fortress that bordered dense swamplands. A matriarchal society, the coven of sisters lived apart from the men of Dathomir, the Nightbrothers, whose only use was to serve the sisters as servants and breeders. Nightsisters were known to have less rules than Jedi.
Nightsister positions included Nightsister Initiates, Nightsister Acolytes, and the ruling Clan Mother. The Nightsisters mummified their dead before placing them in pods of animal skin decorated with tassels, which were hung on structures made of branches, bones, animal skins, and shells. Their graveyards mimicked the configuration of the plant life seen on Dathomir, with its crooked trees burdened by large, cocoon-like fruits.
Before placing dead Nightsisters in burial pods, Nightsisters went through many steps to prepare a funeral. When using cloth for burial pods, the cloth was washed in magickal water. Then, the cloth was hand-braided together while Nightsisters recited a spell of protection. Finally, the bodies were cleansed with fragrant oils and placed in the newly created burial pod and mummified.
Considered formidable force-wielders, the Nightsisters are known to wield different powers compared to other force wielders derived from incantations and spells. While rumors persisted about them being powerful, only strong leaders within the Nightsisters had power that could contend with fully trained Jedi Masters or Sith Lords.
As young initiates, Nightsister witches undergo training as children to master their power over magick. Young women aspiring to join the ranks of the Nightsisters first had to use the Dark side to subdue a powerful, strong-willed creature living in the depths of the pools in the village known as the Sleeper, and bring back a part of its body. The harvested remains would then be converted into the Water of Life, a major component of Nightsister magicks. Any initiate who gave into their fear would be dragged down into the depths and killed. An important component of training was that a Nightsister had to master their power without losing control and giving into the dark side completely.
Years before they were nearly wiped out, the Nightsisters practiced their magick inside the Witches Horn, a cliff high above the cave of the chirodactyl Gorgara. A Nightsister there made potions and elixirs. Some were medicine, while others were poisons. The Nightsisters also used spells once intended to help plants and animals thrive, to create incantations of dark magic that gave supernatural strength to their best warriors, imbuing them with ichor.
- #32Nightbrothers
Keys: Nightbrothers, Nightbrother's, Nightbrother
The Nightbrothers were a small colony of Dathomirian Zabrak male warriors who lived in a village on the far side of the planet Dathomir under the rule of the Nightsister clan of witches. Once a group of criminal exiles who immigrated to Dathomir, where they bonded with the witches who made them subservient to their will. After the destruction of their village during the Clone Wars, they relocated to another village. They lived in subservience to the Nightsisters' matriarch Mother Talzin until the witches' near-extinction during the Clone Wars.
Like many cultures and societies of Dathomir, much of the history and livelihood of the Nightbrothers remains unknown to most in the galaxy, surrounded by legends made by both Nightbrothers and Nightsisters like, and was notably difficult due to both sides intentionally keeping their ways unknown to others outside their clans. In turn, the Nightbrothers became territorial and hostile to outsiders.
A simple warrior society, the Nightbrothers of Dathomir lived in separate warrior clans lead by a Nightbrother Leader and their second-in-command, the Nightbrother Lieutenant. In some cases like Viscus' clan, however, the Nightbrother's leadership resided in both a surviving Nightsister and even an outsider who earned their begrudging loyalty through force and strength. Nightbrothers respect power and strength above all else. Their respect for power and honor led to them fighting in a combat arena to demonstrate their strength with intent to win. Although hostile to outsiders, one that proved powerful could be given substantial influence over the group, be it through respect or fear, even allowing them to gain leadership over the society and worship.
Nightbrothers were accustomed to engaging in rites of passage; one such practice involved covering their faces with thin, dark tattoos. The best and boldest of the Nightbrothers faced another sort of rite of passage in which they battled beasts known as chirodactyls. Those that faced these behemoth creatures and survived were deemed worthy. They also practiced painting glyphs using acid from hydraatis plants on hard rock surfaces. Their usage of it was deliberately careful to preserve accuracy and damage to themselves. Those who were master calligraphers—rare positions within the society—were extremely valued for their talents.
The male warriors were subservient to the Nightsisters. Dominating the Nightbrothers both physically and politically, the Nightsisters' treatment of them were often cruel, relegating them to being their servants, muscle, bodyguards, and breeding stock. Although mostly obedient, the Nightbrothers often had great kinship between one another and constantly sought to protect one another from the whims and demands of the Nightsisters.
Brutal treatment from the Nightsisters was seen a necessity on their end to keep them compliant and obedient due to Zabrak Nightbrothers possessing a higher tolerance of pain. The Nightsisters also forbade the practice of magick to the Nightbrothers and denied them admission to the Nightsisters' clan.
As warriors, Nightbrothers ranged in having strength and fighting abilities comparable to other humanoids to being impressively power fighters, and were best known for their agile and highly acrobatic mixture of fighting styles which they used to gain an advantage over their enemies. In addition to their combat skills, they were well taught in survival skills and were notable in possessing higher pain tolerance. Although Nightbrothers were not trained in magick, the proximity to the Nightsisters' magical ichor granted them enhanced reflexes and perception.
Few Nightbrothers were powerfully Force-sensitive; those that were identified as such were trained as "male adepts," warriors capable of using the force to enhance their physical abilities. They could also be magically enhanced through the power of a Nightsister and access other force abilities such as Force push. When so enhanced, a green burst of magical ichor would accompany a Nightbrother's use of force abilities. Merrin demonstrated this power when she enhanced her Nightbrother servants to deter Jedi Padawan Cal Kestis. A more intensive ritual transformed selected Nightbrother warriors into monstrous, hate-filled warriors strong in the dark side of the Force.
- #33Blackguard
Keys: Blackguard's, Blackguards, Blackguard
The Blackguard was a dark side cult formed on the planet Mustafar after the New Sith Wars. Its members sought to increase their knowledge of power by studying other Force traditions.
The Blackguard was a dark side cult based on the planet Mustafar. Its adepts lived largely as recluses in the Smoking Forest's Southern Jedi Ruins.
The Blackguard emerged from the ashes of the Sith philosophy of the Brotherhood of Darkness destroyed at the Battle of Ruusan. The Blackguard believed to increase one's knowledge of the Force, one must understand the philosophies and abilities of other Force traditions around the galaxy. Members of the cult believed that acquiring knowledge was superior to exerting physical power. Nevertheless, Blackguard adepts were absolutely not pacifist.
Most of the members of the cult were skilled warriors wearing black armors. The Blackguard was better organized than other dark side cults. There were four ranks among the adepts: minion, elite minion, wilder, and elite wilder. The wilders were force users trained in lightsaber combat and Force combat techniques while minions were non-Force-sensitive cultists armed with blasters. Some wilders were known as Trinity Assassins. Elite minions and wilders usually acted as squad leaders for regular minions. These minions acted as soldiers and were the most visible members of the cult, leading many to believe that the Blackguard was simply a paramilitary organization.
- #34Shapers of Kro Var
Keys: Shapers of Kro Var, Shaper of Kro Var's, Shapers of Kro Var's, Shaper of Kro Var
The Shapers of Kro Var were an order of Force users indigenous to the planet Kro Var. They originated circa 1000 BBY when a damaged cruiser fleeing the devastation of the New Sith Wars crashed on Kro Var. The survivors of the crash eked out an existence on the inhospitable world. Eventually, the population split into clans and underwent technological regression as infighting between clans occurred. Force-sensitive individuals became leaders within the clans and were referred to as Shapers. Eventually, the Republic and the Jedi Order made contact with Kro Var and, after some initial hostility from the Shapers of Kro Var toward the Jedi, established peaceful relations. This allowed the Shapers to travel offworld and explore the galaxy, which they continued to do into the Clone Wars. They were not specifically persecuted during the reign of the Galactic Empire due to the fact that the majority of them did not go offworld.
The Shapers were considered superstitious and proud of their powers. They distrusted Force users who used invisible manifestations such as telekinesis or mind tricks, and individuals with those talents on Kro Var were persecuted. Instead, most of the Shapers' abilities were focused on warfare and the harnessing of the elements of earth, fire, water, and air. As such, their particular uses of the Force centered on utilizing and manipulating the powers of nature to suit their needs.
The early Shapers occupied the roles of "battle shamans" for their clans. They were considered superstitious, as well as brash and bold when demonstrating their power to others. Another characteristic of the Shapers was their distrust of both technology and Force powers that were unseen, such as telepathy. Individuals demonstrating aptitude for such talents on Kro Var were persecuted as witches and warlocks. They remained largely suspicious of outsiders, particularly Force users with those unseen powers, though those attitudes did slowly change. The early shapers also were not prone to diplomacy, and in general preferred direct confrontation. Some Shapers were less superstitious, though, and traveled the galaxy in search of the Jedi in order to learn different views of the Force. The concept of learning different views of the force also led to them seeking out other minor orders. An example of this would be the women of Kro Var that would sometimes seek the Witches of Dathomir.
The powers wielded by the Shapers of Kro Var were largely focused into warfare. In battle, they utilized elemental powers that harnessed elements of nature such as earth, air, water, and fire against their enemies. They were considered aggressive and suspicious, which led to their initial hostilities with the Jedi. Shapers often specialized in a particular element, such as fire, but Master Shapers could wield many or all of them. Shapers tended to take the philosophy involved with their element of study and apply it to the battlefield; for example, a Shaper specializing in air was expected to be mobile in combat.
Shaper training began at an early age, as younglings were sent to study with a Shaper cabal to determine in which area of elemental control they possessed the most potential. The youngling was subjected to numerous tests and then sent to an appropriate temple to study their particular element and develop their powers. The training was intense and, in addition to harnessing the Force, included lessons in warfare and weaponry.
The Shapers claimed to be a similar tradition to the Nightsisters, a group of Force-wielding witches from the planet Dathomir. The Nightsisters contended that their Force powers were derived from two spirits known as the Fanged God and the Winged Goddess, and the Nightsister Mother Talzin believed that the Shapers of Kro Var also gained their abilities from the spirits. However, Talzin claimed that the Shapers were misguided and had not heard the spirits' call as clearly as the Nightsisters had.
The Shapers of Kro Var were said to have wielded the dark side of the Force, and were regarded as being deeply connected to the elements of earth, fire, air, and water. Their abilities included buckling stone, creating walls of wind, and generating spouts of flame. They could ignite targets using fire, or make their motion more fluid in battle. Their manifestations of the Force depended on their element of study, but were also influenced by the location of their habitat. Shapers native to the Ungoth Valley were more apt at wielding fire due to the presence of lava flows there. Master Shapers were also able to wield other physical manifestations such as lightning, which was considered a further extension of their elemental capabilities. Despite rejecting telekinetic abilities, they did begin to learn Force resistance after their encounter with the Jedi. Shapers were also skilled in the use of simple melee weapons such as clubs and swords.
- #35Sorcerers of Rhand
Keys: Sorcerer of Rhand, Sorcerers of Rhand, Sorcerer of Rhand's, Sorcerers of Rhand's
The Sorcerers of Rhand were a group of beings who believed in a power greater than the Force which they called the Dark. The Sorcerers of Rhand ruled a collection of stellar clusters known as the Nihil Retreat, which was associated with the Perann Nebula in the Unknown Regions. By following the Way of the Dark, they were granted special powers. The Sorcerers of Rhand never ventured beyond the Nihil Retreat.
The Sorcerers of Rhand were the absolute rulers of the twelve stellar clusters known as the Nihil Retreat, which was associated with the Perann Nebula in the Unknown Regions. The Sorcerers believed in the One Truth: "Only power is real, and the only real power is the power to destroy. Existence is fleeting. Destruction is eternal." For them, destruction was the will of the universe. They called this the Way of the Dark.
The Way of the Dark was the cornerstone of the Sorcerers. They saw destruction as a permanent change in the structure of the universe. Through this destruction a void was created, an absence of life. The void was the foundation of truth. The sorcerers recognized neither the light or the dark side of the Force. In fact, they did not speak of the Force; for them there was only the Dark.
Furthermore, the Sorcerers believed that the only relevant feature of the Dark was its response to the will of a properly trained being in line with the Way of the Dark. The Dark set being against being, star against star. It was the hidden energy of the cosmos. The greatest power of the Dark known to the Rhandites was the ability of Darksight. Darksight was the ability to create the future by looking at all the possible outcomes and choosing the one that suited the user best, though the outcome was not guaranteed. Part of its success was determined by the user's alignment with the Dark. Only through destruction could one ally themselves with the Way of the Dark.
The Sorcerers of Rhand view their their bodies as temporary constructs that are to be chewed apart by the Dark. The most devout believe that once their mortal forms rot, their consciousness will join with the Dark. Each Sorcerer exist in various states of disassembly and decay. They have no uniform appearance and are made up of members from multiple species.
- #36Prophets of the Dark Side/Secret Order of the Emperor
Keys: Secret Order of the Emperor, Prophet of the Dark Side, Secret Order of the Emperor's, Prophet of the Dark Side's, Prophets of the Dark Side's, Prophets of the Dark Side
The Prophets of the Dark Side, also called the Secret Order of the Emperor, was an ancient dark-side cult that arose on the planet Dromund Kaas in the Dromund system of the Outer Rim, a world that once served as the capital of the reconstituted Sith Empire. They were founded by a renegade Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Millennial, and hence can be considered a splinter-faction of the Order of the Sith Lords.
The Prophets were trained in the use of the dark side of the Force and used its power to delve into the possible future outcomes of any event. During the time of the Galactic Empire, they were led by Kadann, the Supreme Prophet. The prophets were all black-bearded individuals who wore gleaming black robes, and who obtained a great deal of power within the Empire after their recruitment by Palpatine. In order to retain their power, the Prophets used any means necessary to ensure the predicted outcome.
When the group became part of the Secret Order of the Empire, the term became interchangeable with the title Emperor's Mage, used for a true Prophet of the Dark Side after they were recruited by Palpatine to serve him. The true Prophets should not be confused with their imitators, the false Prophets, who collectively comprised the Church of the Dark Side.
Palpatine often consulted the Prophets to ensure the correctness of his own foresight. Only the most trusted Imperial advisors, including the Grand Admirals, knew the Emperor's Mages existed. When Grand Admiral Afsheen Makati's first officer mocked the black robes of the Prophets, Kadann retaliated by employing Force lightning on Makati.
The Secret Order of the Emperor was a clandestine, elite group of spies composed of the Emperor's Mages and their agents.
Mages traveled abroad in disguise, seeking out Force-sensitive beings, such as Maarek Stele. They would often stand aside in a briefing room or corridor monitoring their Force-sensitive subjects, waiting for the curious subjects to ask the unusual person of their intentions, then the Mage would reveal himself as an envoy from the Emperor and present the gifted individual with the choice of serving the Emperor through secret missions. These missions (such as assassinating a special enemy or inspecting enemy craft before destroying them for special intelligence) furthered the Emperor's dark-side goals that were hidden behind all the Empire accomplished.
Once an agent proved himself, he was initiated into the Secret Order as a First Initiate and given special additional duties during combat missions. As he progressed through the Order, he would join the Second Circle, Third Circle, Fourth Circle and Inner Circle, followed by earning the title Emperor's Hand (not to be confused with the Imperial agents known as the Emperor's Hand), the Emperor's Eyes, the Emperor's Voice and the Emperor's Reach.
The most successful agents were taken from the Order by Palpatine to become Emperor's Hands. The head of the Order was Supreme Prophet Kadann.
The chosen personnel acquired a tattoo-like sign on their left arm, emblazoned on their skin with the dark side of the Force; the higher the rank an agent attained within the Order, the larger and more elaborate the sign.

Keys: Church of the Dark Side, Church of the Dark Side's
The Church of the Dark Side was a religious organization devoted to the worship of the Dark Side of the Force that came into prominence during the Imperial Era and was sanctioned by the Galactic Empire. - #38Sorcerers of Tund
Keys: Sorcerers of Tund, Sorcerer of Tund, Sorcerer of Tund's
The Sorcerers of Tund were a largely reclusive, secretive ancient order of dark siders from Tund, a remote, shadowy planet in the Centrality of the Outer Rim Territories and were notable for their concealing outfits. The Sorcerers were highly skilled in deception, illusions, and shapeshifting. They rarely ventured off Tund, and were known to be driven mad by their explorations of the Force. The Sorcerers of Tund shared most of the Sith beliefs, which was not surprising, given the fact that their order was founded by exiled Sith mages. However, they viewed the Force as a magical power and manipulated it mostly by arcane symbols and spells. The Jedi viewed the sorcerers as merely another Force sect, but would often try to "convert" the Sorcerers, attempting to convince them to use the Force without any of their trappings of magic and mysticism. However, they were unsuccessful, and eventually the Jedi contented themselves with making sure the Sorcerers did not descend into the dark side. The Sorcerers of Tund were a group associated with the light side of the Force that was founded on the planet Tund. Members of the sorcerers who embraced the dark side of the Force were considered apostates and expelled. Artifacts relating to the dark side portion of the Sorcerers of Tund were stored in the Archive of Forbidden Artifacts, a prohibited section of the Jedi Temple Archives on the planet Coruscant. The Sorcerers of Tund were originally made up of pure-blooded Sith priests, though eventually adopted the light side of the Force. The Sorcerers of Tund worshipped the Unity, their name for the Force, and followed the light side of the Force. Those of their order who abandoned the light for the dark side of the Force were considered apostates and banished. They were capable of using their connection to the force to generate and manipulate fire, could also use their pyrokinetic abilities in combination with Telekinesis to generate waves of flames capable of hurling people through the air, and were able to use the Force to redirect blaster fire against their opponents without a lightsaber. - #39Acolytes of the Beyond

The Acolytes of the Beyond, also known simply as the Acolytes, were a cult of dark side fanatics who came to prominence during the last year of the Clone Wars, and had developed into a network of cells across the galaxy during the start of the era of the Galactic Empire.
The Acolytes also revered various Sith artifacts including lightsabers and helmets since they were imbued with the power of the dark side. While the Acolytes initially stole lightsabers in order to sacrifice to the Sith "beyond," they began to keep the ancient weapons following the rise of the Galactic Empire, and to be given a lightsaber was considered a great honor.
"Not all who worship the dark side are strong with the Force. Some are merely fanatics who understand that the dark side is the one true path to victory—even if it is a path they are not capable of walking themselves. One such group of adherents was the Acolytes of the Beyond. They believed that the Force is akin to a river, and that the dark side is the only means of changing its currents. To alter the future in their favor, they devoted themselves to gathering Sith arcana, destroying the objects, and releasing the dark energies within as a sacrificial offering to the ancient Sith Lords. Later, the Acolytes wisely decided that these irreplaceable artifacts should be revered, not destroyed. Led by a number of extreme loyalists—including my Imperial advisor, Yupe Tashu—the Acolytes relentlessly pursued Sith secrets, fueling their unwavering devotion to my cause." ―Darth Sidious

- #43Ailon Nova Guard
Keys: Ailon Nova Guard's, Ailon's, Ailon Nova Guard, Eklot, Nova Guard, Nova Guard's, Eklot's, Ailon
The Ailon Nova Guard, also simply the Nova Guard, was the military force of Ailon, renowned for a martial prowess on par with the Imperial Royal Guard and the Mandalorians. Members of the Nova Guard were drilled from birth in military history and tactics. Prizing physical toughness and survival of the fittest, Nova Guard had a near-religious devotion to martial tradition and trained to the highest possible standard, ensuring that the soldiers of the Nova Guard were professional under every circumstance; cowards were uncovered and executed long before they had the chance to shame their regiments in combat. Combat was so central to the Nova Guard that those who were rejected from military service - or worse, expelled from their ranks - would exile themselves from their homeworld in disgrace. A minimum five-year tour of duty was mandatory for all Ailon, with trainees considered active-duty personnel; in battle, Nova Guard were known for their ability to outthink, outflank, and overwhelm their enemies. It was common for individual soldiers of the Nova Guard to be shocked by the relative inexperience and lack of training in their foes. While Nova Guard were exceptionally well trained in all aspects of modern warfare, they held hand-to-hand and melee combat in high esteem, often wielding polearms and the traditional Eklot alongside more conventional weaponry. An ancient military service with 13,000 years of history and tradition, the Ailon Nova Guard had been allied to the Galactic Republic for millennia. After the rise of the Galactic Empire, the Nova Guard believed that Galactic Emperor Palpatine embodied their belief, and supported him however they could. The Humanocentric Empire took advantage of this, and often hired them for "glorious" battles which were really suicide missions. They were used as disposable assets and their deaths in combat provided Imperial commanders with real-time intelligence on enemy firepower. However, this also led to several embarrassing incidents when the Nova Guard overran the enemy before the Imperial military could act. Outside of these missions, Nova Guard activity was greatly curtailed under the Empire and largely restricted to ceremonial duties. The primary focus of the Nova Guard became the annual Ailon Military Ceremonies, during which the Guard honed its skills, upgraded its equipment, observed the martial traditions of other species, and staged war-games. Due to the Ailon's high birth rate, the Nova Guard regiments were filled to capacity, with entire new regiments created to train the youth. Numbering close to a billion soldiers, the Ailon Nova Guard was one of the most successful and fiercest fighting forces in the galaxy, a characteristic clearly visible in the organization of its ranks. Upon entering the Nova Guard, a new recruit would be given the rank of guardsman and could be promoted from there on. The next rank was corporal who led a group of forty men called a section. Next came lieutenant who led a platoon which consisted of six sections. A major, who led a company which was made up of eight platoons, came after lieutenant. Next came the position of lieutenant colonel who led battalions which were made up of eight companies. A colonel who led a regiment, a group consisting of two or more battalions, was the next rank up from lieutenant colonel. Next came Major Generals who led a division, which was made of six regiments. Next came Field Marshals who led corps, all of whom made up the Ailon Marshallate, an elite command force that also doubled as a Ruling Council. The Supreme Commander of the Ailon Nova Guard was the High Marshal of Ailon.
Ailon was a heavily-fortified planet in the Ailon system of the Inner Rim.
The Ailon were a sentient humanoid species whose entire population was employed in a military group called the Ailon Nova Guard. They originated from the Ailon system in the Inner Rim Territories.
The Eklot was a short sword treated with a fast-acting neurotoxin. The weapon was considered a mark of pride by the members of the Ailon Nova Guard, the only military known to use them.
- #44Luka Sene
Keys: Luka Sene, Luka Sene's
The Luka Sene was a formal Miraluka Force organization with meditation and education chambers in most cities on the Miraluka homeworld of Alpheridies. While all Miraluka used the Force to sense the world around them, some Miraluka did have an increased sense-based aspect of the Force. When these Miraluka were identified, Miraluka educators and leaders encouraged such individuals to join the Luka Sene. Academic in atmosphere and culture, the Luka Sene focused primarily on developing the sense-related powers of their members. Offworlders often regarded the Luka Sene as a Force-user university where classes and education take place. However, unlike the Jedi, Sith and other traditions, it did not dictate a member's personal life.
Luka Sene members were present in all aspects of society and all fields. Most members only had small degrees of increased senses which they used to improve their own lives, careers, and Miralukan society. Those with higher degrees of sensitivity could become Administrators, Masters, or Mentors in the Luka Sene organization. A small amount left their homeworld to join the Jedi Order. While it was uncommon to find a member of the Luka Sene off of their homeworld, some traveled to meet with the Jedi Order, or at the rare request of an off-world family to give advice on a talented child.
The Luka Sene disapproved of the dark side and served as guiders and guardians to protect Miraluka from falling to the dark side. While Miralukan inherent sensing abilities were rarely a threat, like any Force power, they could still provide a path to the dark side, especially in the more talented members that were chosen for Luka Sene training. The Luka Sene placed heavy emphasis on the light side and practical sides of the Force: however, some Miraluka sought to develop powers contrary to those beliefs. Were a Miraluka was suspected of having fallen to the dark side, the Luka Sene would dispatch Sene Seekers, who would search out the targeted individual. Attempts to redeem that individual would be made, but should the individual prove themselves to be beyond redemption, the Sene Seekers (who would be accompanied by security personnel) would attempt a live capture. Elimination of a fallen individual was only carried out if no alternatives were open.
Luka Sene members were highly adept in the Sense powers of the Force, building upon their natural Miraluka Force sight. They could use Farsight with great skill, and had a unique power known as Field Detection, which allowed them to perceive energy fields.
- #45Matukai
Keys: Matukai's, Matukai
The Matukai were an organization of Force adepts who used the physical body to channel the Force. They were established in the days of the Galactic Republic, years before the Old Sith Wars, and records compiled by the Empire indicated that the Matukai were founded by a Human female from Karvoss II who discovered her sensitivity to the Force while practicing a meditative form of martial arts. After she developed her own method of studying the Force, she began to expand the tradition, teaching others what she had learned.
Initially, the Matukai were unchecked in growth by the Jedi Council and developed into a nomadic order of about fifty to sixty members. Though the Council eventually attempted to integrate the Matukai into the Jedi Order, they were unsuccessful in doing so, as the Matukai were uninterested in the ways of the Jedi. The Matukai experienced persecution by the Empire during the Great Jedi Purge. They were one of the first other organizations besides the Jedi to feel the Emperor's wrath, but a few of their number managed to survive and pass on their knowledge.
Matukai philosophy was centered around creating a balance and harmony between the spiritual Force and the physical body, using exercise as a form of meditation. Their training involved meditative martial arts, physical training, and somatic rituals, and they were noted for being able to develop a Force-sensitivity in many beings who were not inherently gifted with the Force. Using their bodies as a focus, they emphasized keeping oneself clean and strong, purifying oneself through physical activity, and avoiding the dark side. Unlike the Jedi Order, they did not use lightsabers, instead wielding a polearm weapon known as a wan-shen.
The wan-shen was the weapon of Matukai, constructed when they graduated from apprentice to adept. This weapon was a polearm with a short, single blade on one end and served as a focal point for their abilities. The weapon, much like a lightsaber, tended to be decorated and crafted according to the adept's tastes and preferences. Many were made of collapsible or separative shafts for ease of concealment and transportation, as the wan-shen tended to be around 2 meters in length. Masters of this weapon were capable of swinging it around their bodies and attacking with incredible speed and ability. Because they were made with the use of the Force, many wan-shen staves and their blades were capable of resisting lightsabers.
The Matukai had no fixed organizational headquarters. Instead, they wandered the galaxy in groups of three to five, never having more than fifty to sixty members overall in their order. They had at least two ranks, that of apprentice and adept, each with their own type of robe signifying their rank. Instructors were also permitted to have more than one apprentice in the Matukai tradition, though some chose not to take an apprentice at all.
The balance of the physical and spiritual was the cornerstone of Matukai philosophy. Their robes, which were similar to Jedi robes apart from their green and white coloring, were designed to help achieve this balance. The general tenets of the Matukai included keeping the body clean and strong, purifying themselves through physical activity, focusing on the Force through exercise and ceremony, and avoiding the taint of the dark side. To promote these tenets, a meditation band was sometimes worn by the Matukai as a possible deterrent from the influence of the dark side. Another Matukai teaching emphasized a flexibility of spirit that avoided becoming flustered or upset in order to maintain a stress-free and relaxed state. The purpose of this teaching was to allow the body to focus the Force with greater efficiency. Matukai philosophy encouraged the use of meditative martial arts, physical exercises, and somatic rituals in hopes of developing an inherently weak connection to the Force into something stronger.
During training, a Matukai instructor had leeway in deciding exactly how to proceed, but trainees were frequently required to push the limits of their physical stamina while using the Force to gain strength. Lessons typically combined a physical component with a spiritual component related to the nature of the Force. Another common exercise for a Matukai was to stand in one stance for hours or even days at a time, sometimes in harsh weather conditions or other physical strain, in hopes of allowing the Force to flow through them in the process. As such, graduates of Matukai training were generally in good health due to their rigorous training and their newly enhanced connection to the Force. Upon completion of their training, Matukai received a distinctive tattoo covering their foreheads and the sides of their faces near the eyes.
Distinguished as among the best martial artists in the galaxy, the Matukai made their own bodies the focus of their abilities, and were capable of using physical exercise and discipline as a form of meditation. Keeping their focus inward, Matukai philosophy differed from that of the Jedi Order in that the Jedi saw physical exercise and meditation as separate; however, this inward focus allowed Matukai adherents such a degree of control over their bodies as to develop an otherwise negligible connection to the Force into a far more significant source of strength.
Considered to be masters of their physical bodies, the Matukai were capable of drawing on the Force to strengthen and augment their bodies to unnatural limits. In doing this, they could refresh their spirits with a tireless energy that allowed them to exert their bodies far past their unaided physical limits for hours at a time without tiring. Because of this stamina, Matukai were capable of executing physical feats such as tumbling, running, leaping, and complex martial sequences with an astonishing speed described as a "whirlwind" blur of limbs and movement, additionally, this refreshing of spirit augmented the strength and resolve of a Matukai's blows, allowing them feats of strength and power exceeding what their bodies were capable of. In addition to this outward physical mastery, Matukai were known for their inward mastery and self-awareness of their own bodies, and were able to discern wounds, injuries, and sickness with ease. The Matukai learned to purge illness and poison from their bodies, and even become immune to them altogether, to the point where a fully-trained Matukai could shrug off the effects of a normally-fatal sting from a poisonous kouhun. Trained Matukai could also raise or lower their body temperature to survive in hot or cold environments, or even cause their skin to become so hot as to burn anything they touched. More experienced Matukai adepts could also give normally soft parts of their body unnatural rigidity to help drastically reduce physical damage.
The signature weapon of the Matukai was a polearm weapon called the wan-shen, which was tipped on one end with a short-singled edged blade. Each wan-shen was unique and bore patterns etched into the blade to symbolize things important to its creator. Most wan-shens could be broken down into easily-stored pieces, and trained users could whirl it around their bodies in combat, using themselves as a central axis of rotation. Due to their own physical control, Matukai were capable of wielding the blade with a speed that sometimes astonished onlookers, which was described as a virtual whirlwind of metal and blades. As such, they were considered excellent combatants with weapons in addition to hand-to-hand combat. Matukai saw the weapon as an external focus for the Force, as well as a means of self-defense. The Matukai were agile to the point of being able to dodge or deflect a sizable portion of incoming strikes or shots aimed at them, and enjoyed greatly increased balance and stamina due to their connection to the Force. They were also known for their adaptability to any situation.
- #46Dagoyan Order/Dagoyan Masters
Keys: Dagoyan Order's, Dagoyan Master's, Dagoyan Masters, Dagoyan Order, Dagoyan Master
The Dagoyan Order, also referred to as the Dagoyan Masters, were an order of Force-users that focused knowledge and harmony of the universe. Through the Bahk-tov Council, they also served as part of the planetary government of Bardotta—homeworld of the Bardottan species in the the galaxy's Colonies.
The Dagoyan Order was a tradition which focused on the principles of asceticism and meditation, striving to form a strong and personal connection to the Force. A passive connection to the Force, the Dagoyans avoided the light and the dark aspects of the Force, using it not as a tool to affect the physical world, and thus avoiding objectifying the Force in a moral way. The Order constantly trained and meditated. The Order trained force sensitives on Bardotta to use the Force for education and practice nonviolence.
The Dagoyan tradition was widely practiced by lay people, who aspired to find a personal connection with the Force. All Bardottans received an education at a Dagoyan school, and meditation was a part of all citizens' lives. Serving the planet as artisans and sculptors, the average Bardottan was encouraged to practice the tenets of the Order but participation was completely voluntary and not considered an obligation.
The monastic arm of the Order was comprised of mystics, who practiced strict asceticism and lived off of alms and donations within the lofty monasteries of the planet, such as the Halsoun monastery. Those mystics who practiced a lifetime of meditation achieved the honorific of Master. The Dagoyan Masters were the strongest and the wisest of the Order, and were invited to advise the governing institutions of the planet. With only a few dozen Masters in each generation, those who did not take on governing responsibilities were sent to lead the teaching of the next generation at any of the mystic communities across the world.
The Dagoyan tradition and the culture of Bardotta were intrinsically woven together, making the Order both a religious and a governmental structure on the world. The governing council of Bardotta, known as the Bahk-tov Council, was comprised of both Dagoyan Masters and lay people who observed the Dagoyan tradition. The leader of the Council served as the official head of state and was elected by the unanimous vote of the Council. Wearing the title of king or queen, the Monarch of Bardotta was the voice of the Council and the Order, though only the unanimous vote of the Council could make a policy decision.
Founded during the planet Bardotta's era of endless war, the Dagoyan Order formed from the militant Frangawl tradition that governed the planet through force and the dark side of the Force. Seizing control of the government through a series of short-lived conflicts, the Dagoyan Order outlawed the Frangawl tradition and fully entrenched itself within Bardottan culture. Forming the Bahk-tov Council, a governing body made up of both Dagoyan Masters and lay people at times, the Council elected a Monarch to serve as the Head of State of Bardotta.
The relationship between the Dagoyan Order and the Jedi Order was chilly at best, due to an incident early in their history. When the Jedi attempted to induct Bardottan children into their order, the Bahk-tov Council deemed this act as an affront to the sovereignty of Bardotta and demanded the children be returned or risk war. When the Jedi complied, the Dagoyan order ended most contact with the Jedi for the next millennia.

The Frangawl Cult, also known as the Frangawl clan, was a dark side cult from Bardotta dedicated to the worship of Malmourral, the Bardottan demon of war. Once banished by the Dagoyan Order, they foresaw a time when those masters would disappear. Force-sensitive members of the Frangawl Cult possessed the ability to draw the Living Force out of others, turning their victims to dessicated husks while increasing their own power in the Force, with the deaths being seen as sacrifices to both honor and sate Malmourral.
- #48Separatist holdouts
Keys: Separatist holdout, Separatist holdout's, Separatist holdouts
Separatist holdouts was a term for the various fractured military and political elements of the Confederacy of Independent Systems which continued to resist the Galactic Empire during the early Imperial Era following the end of the Clone Wars and collapse of the Confederacy. These holdouts were either doubtful of the veracity of the end of the war, loyal to the Separatist cause or were not aware that the fighting had even ended.
After the death of Count Dooku, and the subsequent fall of the military control structure of the remaining leadership, the Confederacy began to fall across the galaxy to the Galactic Republic, and its territory quickly reintegrated into the newly-risen Empire. However, the Imperial Military viewed Separatist holdouts as a major threat and would send the navy on a series of campaigns in the Western Reaches, where a number of holdouts were openly resisting Imperial authority.
Separatist holdouts were the remnants of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. The political crisis between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy culminated in the Clone Wars, a galaxy-wide conflict that the latter ultimately lost, yet also allowed the Galactic Empire to rise in place of the Republic. Although the war's conclusion marked the end of the Separatist cause, the remnants of the Confederacy would endure for years, hiding from the New Order in several locations such as the planet Agamar or in the Western Reaches. These holdouts varied from groups of pro-Separatist sentients to battle droids that did not follow the shutdown command at the end of the Clone Wars, which could be mostly independent and disconnected from each other.

The Consolidated Holdings of Preox-Morlana Corporation, or simply the Pre-Mor Authority or Preox-Morlana, was a multi-industry conglomerate based on the planet Morlana One in the Free Trade sector in the galaxy's Outer Rim.
During the Imperial Era, Preox-Morlana cooperated with the Galactic Empire, and were permitted to police areas under its jurisdiction with its private security assets. In 5 BBY, the Empire took over the Morlani system and liquidated the conglomerate following an incident on Ferrix.
The Consolidated Holdings of Preox-Morlana Corporation was a corporate entity[6] that maintained a degree of independence from the Galactic Empire, but was still ultimately subservient to it.[1] However, the Empire would encounter several issues when requesting a warrant in areas it operated in due to the Preox-Morlana corporate web.[2] The company's logo was written in Aurebesh and consisted of a stylized vertical P and M, the initials of the corporation.
The Preox-Morlana Authority operated all services for its employees,[6] and required them to have an identification card at all times, so to allow private security forces to look up details about their background. Official complaints against the company could be filed once a month through territorial forums as part of employee engagement, although in reality the organization was aware that they were too intimidated to do so and not even Pre-Mor Enforcement themselves took the forums seriously.
Preox-Morlana maintained the Pre-Mor Authority Security Forces, which were Corporate Tactical Forces that operated across the Free Trade sector and protected its corporate assets. As part of Corporate Tactical Forces, Pre-Mor Enforcement served as part of the Galactic Empire's overall defense. It consisted of officers and security employees called Tac-Corpos,[5] known colloquially as "Blues."[7] and had a number of checkpoints across the sector.[1] Corpos acting in a guard role were identified as Preox-Morlana sentry guards.[8]
Corporate-issue weapons, such as the B1-NA blaster pistol, typically did not find their way into the hands of non-Preox-Morlana personnel, creating a sense of intrigue if one such weapon was claimed and actively used by a non-corporate actor.[9] The Pre-Mor Enforcement utilized armed personnel carriers and Mobile Tac-Pods to transport soldiers to different territories and star systems under the jurisdiction of Preox-Morlana.[7] Pre-Mor Enforcement Sergeant Linus Mosk viewed Pre-Mor Enforcement and other Corporate Tactical Forces as the Galactic Empire's first line of defense, believing that a stronger hand with the planets under Preox-Morlana jurisdiction was needed.
