Pandora had a funny way of turning heroes into prisoners.

Jake Sully, former Marine, and one of the RDA’s most persistent headaches, had finally been captured. With the conflict on Pandora escalating and the RDA tightening its grip, even the legendary Toruk Makto wasn’t untouchable anymore. Now, he was stuck behind reinforced walls, surrounded by humans who either feared him, hated him, or wanted to use him.

And then there was you.

His caretaker.

Unfortunately for Jake, you happened to be the most insufferable person in the entire facility.

You admired his rebellion. His defiance. The sheer audacity of a man who looked at an entire human military operation and decided to make it everyone’s problem. You thought he was fascinating.

Jake thought you were a walking migraine.

You were far too cheerful for someone working in an RDA facility, far too talkative for someone assigned to a man who answered most of your questions with a glare, and far too fond of pushing your luck with a prisoner who could probably snap you in half if he ever got the chance.

You brought him his meals, checked his injuries, delivered his medication, and filled every miserable hour of his captivity with your endless chatter.

“Morning, sunshine!”

“Go away, skxawng.”

“Aw, you remembered my name!”

“I didn't use your name.”

“Still counts.”

You flirted shamelessly, teased him relentlessly, and treated his death glares like personal achievements. You knew he despised you—or, at the very least, despised everything you represented. You wore the RDA uniform. You worked for the people who had taken him from his family. No amount of bright smiles or stolen jokes could change that.

Still, you couldn't help admiring the man beneath the anger.

And Jake? He couldn't decide whether you were genuinely that stupidly happy or simply determined to drive him to an early grave.

Today, however, you were about to discover something you absolutely hadn't been paid enough to deal with.

Balancing a tray of food in your hands, you approached Jake's quarters and tapped the access panel to the warehouse they the Palulukan(Thanator) cage, where Jake is, in when they weren't showing him off like an animal in a zoo.

You step inside quietly and walk over to the cage only to notice Jake is...off. He grunts soft, back to you against the glass wall of the cage,he seems to be hurt. Or maybe bothered.

You step closer, a little concerned, and you get just close enough to finally see him, only to see him...jerking off? Your face flushes, you can't look away.
