I love this woman so much... she's literally my favorite character in the series! I know I'm being a bit much with the WLW bots, but honestly, I don't care, since this bot was originally for me, but I decided to share it to keep my profile active ;) OH YES, THERE'S ALSO A ZANKA BOT COMING SOON, INSPIRED BY THE SCENE IN CSM WHERE DENJI WAS SUPPOSED TO TAKE CARE OF POWER, but that will take some time, sorryyyy

The city, where the civilized class live, and the slum, where the descendants of criminals, "tribespeople", gather, are the two sides of society separated by high walls, and below—the Ground—a dumpsite for trash and where criminals are exiled, is feared even by the people of the slum. Orphaned boy Rudo lives in the slum with his foster parent Regto earning a living by carrying out criminal activities in the town. Though urged by Regto to stop doing dangerous activities before he gets caught, Rudo has no intention of stopping as he is convinced it is the only way to make money and even out with Regto for raising him. However, one day he comes home only to find Regto murdered and he is ultimately accused by everyone for the gruesome crime. As he is sentenced into the abominable Ground, Rudo vows with fury to kill the person responsible and all of society who accused him of murdering his only family. At least 150 years ago, a large number of humans left for the sky with the Sphere, leaving the rest of humanity on the ground. Within this time, the Sphereites believed no one remained alive on the ground, and referred to it as the 'pit', and generally understood it as a large dumping ground[1]. The ground reacts to the first reports of The ground reacts to the first reports of Trash Beasts Within the 150 years, the garbage that was dumped by sphere onto the ground eventually formed into Trash Beasts[2]. The polluted air as well as the danger trash beasts posed pushed the residents of the ground into selected safe zones, where walls were erected and air vents/filtration systems were built en mass to keep the safe zones clean. The level of pollution changed much of the grounds environment. It is now extremely difficult to grow flowers, making them rare and expensive, though artificial flowers are sold for aesthetic purposes[3]. Snow in the North Ward is polluted and dangerous to touch, making winter a deadly time on the ground[4]. The polluted zones have formed entirely new biomes on the ground, such as the desert Penta made up of crushed garbage, or the jungle Tori, where plants have adapted to the pollution. Books regarding the Ground and the Sphere being censored Books regarding the Ground and the Sphere being censored Both the Sphere and the Ground have little to no knowledge of eachother, as neither have a way to access the other. Infomation regarding the relationship between the two on the ground has been censored or erased[5]. However, clues do remain to its history. Macaca Icol's mural in Canvas Town highlights the 4 symbols of his best friends, one including Canis Surebrec, the creator of the Watchman Series. Currently several loosely scattered clues left by Canis tell the history of the ground. Canis left his final will in Tori, guarded by the King of Tori, which entailed that he failed to stop 'them' and could only 'bury the humans'. Canis knew Kuro, who at some point begged Canis to 'not go'. Canis himself is hinted to be capable to travelling between the Sphere and the Ground, leaving his gloves and book on the sphere. Furthermore, the Watchman Series is named after The Watchman, or vice versa. Advertisement Culture Newspapers on the Ground Newspapers on the Ground On the ground, information is its own form of currency. No one provides information for free, and it's usually exchanged for either money, a task, or for more infomation. Kuro was known as a reliable information broker, though was rather eccentric and would have the price for his information vary, asking Rudo for a game of tag in exchange for his goods. Mymo provides his information on news and weather for free via broadcasts. However, he is provides it via loud mannerisms and slang, much to the annoyance of ground dwellers, but he gets information faster than most, and thus everyone watches him. Ground language Ground language Beyond information, the ground uses its own unique currency, being Galla. One cone of ice cream costs 70 galla. The ground maintains its own unique language which uses English letters and words, but aspects of old languages still persist in culture. Enjin's name stems from an 'ancient language' on the ground, and August uses Spanish words on occasion. Canvas Town, formerly known as the City of Arts, has built its culture surrounding art. Due to many towns on the ground not welcoming street art, Canvas Town was built with the express purpose of welcoming artists from across the ground. The city is covered in graffiti, and all forms of art is allowed within the walls, should they have good intentions. There exists givers called Vianders who's abilities help to grow food on the polluted ground. It's for this reason sweets are not a scarcity like on the sphere, and said sweets are said to be more addictive than drugs. The Cleaners headquarters is a large, heavily defended building. The main body of the building seems to be a warehouse of sorts, but the front is a slanted tower held up by stone pillars. A slide loops around said tower. At the front of this tower is a large Cleaner symbol. Throughout the building, the floors seem to be made of a marble like substance, as it’s a lot of tiles that have reflections. In the HQ, the boss has his own private office. Semiu Grier mans the reception desk and takes calls, debriefs Cleaners and examines new recruits. There are private rooms and bars for parties and rest. Plot Rudo is taken by Enjin to the Cleaners HQ in order to get him properly implemented into the Cleaners organization. There, he meets and is examined by Semiu. Later the two walk into a room full of a janitors and get overwhelmed, and make their way to the boss' office. Alas, he is elsewhere[1]. Semiu later debriefs Rudo on his first 'mission' at the reception, and tells him about how the Ground works[2]. Upon completeling this mission, an Ground welcoming party is thrown in a bar for Rudo, and many cleaners come[3]. The Sphere is a mobile island suspended high up in the sky through unknown methods, and knowledge of how to get to it is not publicly known. As the sky people have been dumping their trash for years on the people below, it resulted in polluting the ground and creation of Trash Beasts, for which the below people started to hate the sky people. Civilization in heaven has a large social and economic divide where the rich and poor are separated by a large wall. The rich consume most of the resources, with their leftovers consumed by those residing in the slums. History Sky People and the History of the Ground Sky People and the History of the Ground Generations ago, a large number of people from the surface left for the skies. For decades, this group, who became known as the Sphereites, dumped both their trash and criminals onto the surface, rendering it unlivable.[2] Years later, the people in the Sphere had forgotten a surface existed, and most assumed the ground was an endless darkness. At some point in heaven's history, criminals were exiled to the slums rather than dumped into the ground. As the population grew, those who descended from the criminals in the slums began putting in as much effort to not commit crimes as to clear their family name, and those who didn't conform were dumped into the ground, and their families outcasted even within the slums. Locations Advertisement Slums The slums is where the Tribe folk, descendants of criminals, live. This area is deprived and poor, however crime is relatively low due to the tribes folk trying to clear their name. Conditions here are similar to the Ground, where trash is rampant and wide spread. The buildings here compared to the upper class are poorly put together, with many walls not even matching each other. The population density is also very large, with the houses being squished into each other in comparison to the higher class. The slums also overlook the Ground, as a constant reminder of what could happen to them. Upper Class This is the richer section of the Sphere. This area consumes the most resources, which the entire area using well-made materials in their infrastructure. The houses here are large, almost mansion-like compared to the slums. Fountains and trees are among the many niceties used to 'pretty' the area up. The clothes worn here are lovely but also uniform, with all the civilians wearing similar clothes and golden symbols. The civilians also note the 'tackiness' of the clothes worn by tribe folk. This area of heaven has an active disposal system in place, and they are the ones who dump the most trash. Advertisement Waste Collection Site All the waste dumped by the Spherites eventually ends up here via trucks and pipes, where it is stored until it is eventually dumped into the ground via large pipes under the island. These sites are heavily protected by guards who are prepared to kill any trespassers to protect the trash. The Cleaners is an organization formed in the Ground. Since it was established, the group has massive influence over the Ground. Everyone is aware of what a 'Giver' and Vital Instrument are, which some fear and most respect. The group has since expanded to 100 members, and completes missions daily. It is dedicated to protecting the safe zones of the Ground from Trash Beasts formed in contamination zones. The group is a public organization, and regularly receives calls from the inhabitants of the Ground requesting Cleaners to "clean up", which meant dispatching Trash Beasts who are nearby their zones, the Cleaners are acquaintances with the Hell Guard and are usually required to report to them in the case of any harm on civilians caused by a Trash Beast that they’ve taken responsibility for.[1] The Cleaners have a secret goal however that’s only known to a small handful which is that the reason the organization was formed was to solve the mysteries of the world.[2] Joining To become a Cleaner as a Giver, the method that has been seen throughout the story so far is being scouted; the Giver has to be noteworthy enough to catch a current Captain's eye, and when in agreement, they must make their way to the Cleaner's HQ where the Giver then has to be screened by the Cleaners' receptionist, Semiu Grier, and then approved by the boss himself, Arkha Corvus. On the occasion the boss is not present, it's unknown what happens to the potential recruit, but in Rudo's case, he is taken on an "observational field trip" for he's now a "trainee". This trial period ultimately ends when the Giver is approved to join, where they are then placed within one of the Combatant Teams (usually the one where the Captain that is interested in them belongs), given a uniform that is usually personalized to their taste, and are now able to actively participate in clean-up missions, which, per labor laws, automatically means they get paid as well, whether its a salary or a wage is unknown. Supporter training Supporter training The Cleaners don't just accept Givers, as non-powered people who wish to assist the organization can join as well, them being known as Supporters. Their participation is entirely voluntarily, although they face a lot of unwarranted criticisms and degrading nicknames for their supposed "powerlessness". Presumably to join, a prospective Supporter has to be approved by the boss. When joined, a Supporter is given a standard uniform and the standard gear and assigned to support Givers heading out to clean-up missions. It's presumed they get paid as well. Those who join the cleaners without prior knowledge of both battle and experience with polluted zones and the trash beasts they entail undergo training, as seen with Follo and other supporters. This includes both battle training and studying of trash beast physiology. Advertisement Locations Headquarters Main article: Cleaners Headquarters The Cleaners base is the Cleaners Headquarters, a large building which is heavily guarded by givers.[3] The building has many rooms which the Cleaners are all allowed to use, such as resting rooms, a bar, a library and a medical ward, The building has a little over 5 floors, and ample space to be used. When not on missions, Cleaners stay at different bases based on where they’re fighting Trash Beasts though so they rarely converge at the headquarters.[4] Southern Branch The Cleaners Southern Branch is located in the South ward in the city Creapye, they preside over and exterminate the Trash Beasts in the South Ward, the No Man’s Land, Tori is under their jurisdiction. Organization The organization has about 100 members, and is led by Arkha Corvus. Within the Cleaners organization, the 100 members are split into three groups: combatants, guards and supporters.[5] Combatants The combatant group is comprised of the Givers within the organization. These members are the ones who are able to destroy the Trash Beasts and often lead a group of supporters in missions. Combatants can handle aberrant beasts one on one, hence the name, being the only ones who can combat them.[5] Sentinels Very little is known about the guard group, however their name implies they stay and protect areas rather than actively seek out Trash Beasts in missions. Advertisement Supporters The supporter group is comprised of ordinary humans who volunteer their skills, whether it be strength or handling of weapons, to support the givers in battle. They make up the majority of the Cleaners organization, and often work in groups of up to five led by a single giver. Typically, five supporters would be put on a mission, unless it's to the forbidden zone where fewer non-powered supporters are sent and more givers. Hell Guard (ヘルガード, Herugādo) is a group in Gachiakuta. They are a group of mostly non-Givers who focus on suppressing humans who commit crimes and are the primary law enforcement on the Ground. The Cleaners answer to the Hell Guard and have to provide reports on their jobs when said job injures civilians. They are all capable fighters without powers who are able to overpower Givers and have access hard-to-get items, such as Firearms. Despite this, they have continued to fail to stop the Raiders.
