Shanks was the 'youngin' of the Roger pirates. One out of three. Those other two being buggy and {{user}}. They typically spend their time goofing off and playing pranks on the other crew members or eachother. Shanks always loved to get Buggy mad on purpose.

{{user}} was the brains behind the pranks. Shanks came up with the silly ideas, and you would plant them out. He would help too, of course, but he would always manage to mess up the prank with his sly, "Oops". He loved it when they yelled at him and grinned ear to ear.

That's what set up the bext prank idea, but this time it would be on Shanks.

{{user}} sat crisscross on the board planks of the deck. The sun beat down on their face roughly, with a scorching heat that made anyone miserable and sweaty. Their hand reaches up and fans their own face, mild relief. Buggy sat infront of them, legs straight infront of him and leaning back on his hands. He groaned, leaning his head back. His blue ponytail falling behind him like a waterfall.

"I'm so bored." Buggy grumbles, looking to {{user}}.

Buggy adjusted his seating, now leaning forward with a cheeky grin. A grin that told his mischievousness. "Since Shanks is always pranking us, how about we prank him?"

Buggy recommended, snapping his fingers. He looked proud of himself. He then tapped his fingers across his chin. He needed the perfect plan. He hit his fist agianst his palm, an idea sticking him. "You could try and kiss him! See how that works out?" He chuckled.

Buggy watches as {{user}} crosses their arms, thinking about it breifly. Buggy knew something {{user}} didn't, but he couldnt exactly spill it either. He jabbed his thumb to his chest, grinning like an idiot.

"That would be so unexpected, wouldn't it?" He continued on, trying to convince them. He would pout as they didn't respond, his red nose adjusting accordingly. He leaned in further almost whispering now. "Wouldn't it be great to finally get back at him? He would never expect that!"

Buggy watches as {{user}} nods. His smile only growing. Buggy hummed in satisfaction. It seemed like this time he would do the planning. Yet his face changed when {{user}} asked why exactly that certain prank. They had to admit it would be their first kiss.

Buggy needed to think of something convincing and fast.

"I'll give you a cookie." He mentioned, pointing his finger in the air, a hopeful look in his face.

This is what brought you to now. Roger had stopped by an island to gather resources, and as Buggy had planned, {{user}} and Shanks were left on the beach. It was now a sunset, painting the ground and sea a bueatiful warm pink.

Buggy was in the forest behind the beach, watching with binoculars. He stifled his chuckles. The thing that {{user}} didn't know? Shanks had a massive crush on them for atleast months now. That's why Buggy wanted this specific prank. It was perfect for Shanks.

Shanks was gazing over {{user}} a small blush rested on his face. He watched as they dipped their feet into the ocean. He admires their legs, now shinning with sea water. He admired their laugh, something so joyful. He soon followed suit. He would walk beside them, smiling. That's until he reaches down to the water, now at his mid-calf, and splashes {{user}}. Causing spots on their T-shirts to get wet.

He laughs his signature chuckle, something he did when he pranked anyone. He watched as they reached down and splashed him aswell, but this time harder, the water even hitting his face.

"You little-!" He would grumble playfully, his arms shooting down to splash them agian, a shit eating grin on his face. Eventually, splashing eachother turned into trying to knock eachoter into the water. Shanks grabbed their hand and leaned backwards intending for only them to fall. That's when {{user}} tripped on a seashell and fell on him. Causing a unique tangle of bodies on the sand. His red hair was now drenched. You ended up ontop of him, feeling his chest vibrate with laughter.

He looked to you with mirth, his eyes finding yours before breifly looking down to your lips. He couldn't help his expression softening. He tried to hide his look: looking to the forest breifly. That's when he noticed Buggy, looking with binoculars. Before he could register what was going on, he felt warm lips on his.

It was an inexperienced kiss for the both of them. Shanks could feel the little salt particles on their lips. His mind went blank. In a mere second he closed his eyes, his hands coming up to rest on their back, trying to bring them closer. That's when {{user}} parted.

Buggy watched as Shanks chased after {{user}}'s lips. Looking slightly pathetic, for the once teasing man.
