JAPANESE 東京卍會 RŌMAJI Tōkyō Manji-Kai OTHER NAMES "Toman" (東卍, Tōman?) "Thousand Winters" (サウザンドウィンターズ, Sauzando Wintāzu?)[1] ”Tokyo Revengers”[2]
INFORMATION LEADER(S) Manjiro Sano (First Generation) Takemichi Hanagaki (Second Generation) BASE OF OPERATIONS Musashi Shrine TERRITORIES Shibuya
The Tokyo Manji Gang (東京卍會, Tōkyō Manji-Kai?), often abbreviated as Toman (東卍, Tōman?), is a biker gang based in Shibuya, Tokyo. It was known for its honorable ideals and beliefs that contributed to its goal of establishing a new golden era for delinquents in the Kanto region.[3] However, this image crumbled as its ranks were continually corrupted and transformed into a criminal organization that took the lives of innocent civilians in the present day.[4]
Throughout its reign, Toman took on several gangs and declared victory against them, causing it to rapidly grow its numbers until its disbandment. Two years later, Toman is rebuilt by Takemichi Hanagaki under the Second Generation denomination as an effort to take down the Kanto Manji Gang.[5]
Appearance
Uniform
Toman's official uniform was a black tokkō-fuku (特攻服, lit. special attack clothing?) fashioned after the bōsōzoku subculture in Japan. Its sleeves bore the wearer's position or division number with the gang's manifesto embroidered on the upper front section. Toman's complete name adorned the backside. To easily distinguish its upper echelon from the division members, all Toman Captains and its Vice-Leader wore a white tasuki (襷?) or sash. Its leader wore a similar sash in the color red, secured on the shoulder straps of his tailcoat.
After the Bloody Halloween conflict, the First Generation Toman leaders adopted an exclusive casual uniform similar to Valhalla's. The jacket's tag was Toman's complete name in romaji.
The Second Generation wore the same uniform with the denomination name (二代目, Ni daime?) embroidered on the back collar. Its present administration commonly wore business-like attire and semi-formal garments on occasion.
Standard Toman uniform Standard Toman uniform Leaders' uniform with the sash Leaders' uniform with the sash Logo
Toman's logo consists of the left-facing swastika (卍, manji?) as a reference to its full name, partly derived from the name Manjiro Sano,[6] and from Japanese Buddhism, which Toman is grounded in. This counterclockwise manji with straight arms symbolizes power and good fortune in different religions and is used in varying cultural contexts.[7] Toman uses the left-facing manji on their banner and uniforms.
Background
Mikey confronts Kazutora Toman was founded on June 19, 2003, two weeks after Manjiro Sano took on Kazutora Hanemiya's childhood friend and his accomplices alone.[8] Mikey won against them as an effort to protect Kazutora from harm, but his victory soon made way for Kazutora’s friends to retaliate with the Ninth Generation Black Dragon on their side.[9]
A week after receiving word of the Ninth Generation alliance, Mikey gathered Kazutora, Ken Ryuguji, Takashi Mitsuya, Keisuke Baji, and Haruki Hayashida at Musashi Shrine to confront Kazutora about fighting the Black Dragon all by himself.[10] Mikey planned to fight them, which induced Baji to form a gang of their own. With Mikey as its leader, Draken as its Vice-Leader, and the rest commanding the gang’s regime, the Tokyo Manji Gang was formed.[11]
Structure
Toman admins meet about Black Dragon (manga) The Toman leaders during a meeting Toman's structure mirrored the typical composition of a delinquent gang. Its top administration comprised of a leader (総長, Sōchō?), often addressed as is or "Boss," with a Vice-Leader (副総長, Fuku Sōchō?), or "Vice President," at his side. Subservient to its leaders were Division Captains (隊長, Taichō?), who led one division each consisting of at least 20 men.[12] Under them were their respective Division Vice-Captains (副隊長, Fuku Taichō?), usually their close companions or advisers, and personally appointed Squad Captains for its attack and elite squads.[13] Under the Squad Captains were the division members.
Emma tells Takemichi that Toman split into two (manga) Emma tells Takemichi about the Mikey side and the Draken side Toman had five divisions, amounting to approximately 100 members.[12] Its member count helped it be recognized as a large motorbike gang in Tokyo. Once Toman faced Moebius, its Third Division fell short of leadership as its Captain Haruki Hayashida (Pah-chin) was sent to a detention center after turning himself in for inflicting injury on Moebius' leader.[14] Following Pah-chin’s arrest, Toman was split into two factions, namely the “Mikey side” and the "Draken side."[15] Mikey's side was in favor of his intention to bail Pah-chin out of jail, but Draken's side disapproved of this plan, as it would leave Pah-chin's sacrifice to be in vain.[16]
Hanma threatens to leave (manga) Hanma threatens to leave Toman and shrink its numbers With the Third Division lacking a captain, Mikey elected Tetta Kisaki as Pah-chin's replacement after Toman's victory in another battle against Moebius.[17] Kisaki's membership caused Toman to grow from approximately 100 members to 150.[18] After the gang's victory against Valhalla, a sixth division was founded under the command of Shuji Hanma. Compared to the other five divisions, the sixth had a total of 300 members, who were all previously from Valhalla.[19] However, the Sixth Division was later dissolved as Kisaki was expelled from Toman for double-crossing the team during the Christmas Conflict. As a result, Toman's numbers dwindled from 450 back to the original 100 since Hanma left the gang with him.
Although it is unclear how members were assigned to a division, Toman's original five had unique qualities that differentiated them from the others. The first was intended to be an attack unit and the second as the elite guard during the gang's foundation.[24] The Fifth Division was later formed to be the gang’s “Public Morality Council,” in which its members were given the duty to investigate on division members without the express permission from Toman's higher-ups. This meant that only Fifth Division members were allowed to initiate infighting as long as it was for the benefit of the gang. Assigned to this division was a physically strong captain, who was capable enough to facilitate such investigations.[25]
During the battle against Tenjiku, Takemichi became Toman's de facto leader as he led the gang on Mikey's behalf.[26] Two years after Toman's disbandment, Takemichi reformed the gang and led Toman as its second generational leader with Chifuyu Matsuno as his Vice-Leader.[5] With Pah-chin and the former Toman members' return, the Second Generation was estimated to have at least 50 members, excluding the division leaders.[27]
In Takemichi's final time leap, Toman had eight divisions with Mikey as the Leader, Takemichi as the Acting Leader (総長代理, Sōchō Dairi?), and Draken as the Vice-Leader. Kisaki was the Staff Officer and Hanma was the Assistant Staff Officer. The Seventh Division had no Vice-Captain.[28]
Koko and Inupi arrive at the restaurant (manga) Toman's present administration Throughout Takemichi's time leap excursions, the present-day Toman regularly changed and added members. As a criminal organization, Toman was commanded by Mikey, its prime leader, and Tetta Kisaki, his second-in-command. Subservient to them were the organization's Top Admins, followed by Admins, then the gang's made men.[29] Toman's division system was abolished and its Captains were replaced with Admins. By Takemichi's 14th time leap, a third leader was introduced, who, in essence, served as Toman's prime leader to fill in his superiors' truancies.[30] Members

Keys: Musashi Shrine
JAPANESE NAME 武蔵神社 RŌMAJI Musashi Jinja INFORMATION CONTROLLED BY Tokyo Manji Gang LOCATED IN Shibuya
Musashi Shrine follows the general blueprint of a Shinto shrine that is Buddhist in origin. It stands on top of a small mountain with a long stone staircase and a torii at its entrance. Its oratory is adorned with a pair of lion-dogs (狛犬, Komainu?) while an ablution pavilion (手水舎, Chōzuya?) and an ema stall stand beside it. The shrine is surrounded by shrubs and trees. At the foot of the mountain is a parking lot, where countless food and entertainment stalls are set up during festivals,[1] with another located at the back of the mountain. History
On June 19, 2003, the Tokyo Manji Gang's founding members went to Musashi Shrine under Manjiro Sano's orders and establish the gang
After finding himself in a karaoke booth with a naked Emma Sano, Takemichi Hanagaki gets invited by Ken Ryuguji to Musashi Shrine.[3] Alongside Hinata Tachibana, Takemichi witnesses the arrival of the Tokyo Manji Gang and learns that Emma has connections with Draken and Toman as a whole.[4] Hina finds out about Takemichi's unfaithful actions and beats him. Afterward, Emma explains her true intentions about wooing Takemichi in the karaoke booth, confesses her feelings for Draken, and leaves to watch over Hina.[5]
During Toman's meeting regarding the conflict with Moebius, Takashi Mitsuya orients Takemichi about Moebius's background and history. Suddenly, Haruki Hayashida pushes him aside while Ryohei Hayashi reprimands him for causing the closure of Masataka Kiyomizu's fighting ring.[6] Mitsuya and Draken warn them to stop and ask for Takemichi's forgiveness about their riotous behavior. Mitsuya explains that the Toman-Moebius conflict began because of a feud between Moebius's Eighth Leader Nobutaka Osanai and Pah-chin's close friend. Their feud worsened as Moebius members harmed his friends and family.[7]
In the center stage, Manjiro Sano asks Pah-chin if he wants to take revenge. Although hesitant at first, Pah-chin eventually agrees and Toman declares war against them.[8] Mikey schedules the battle on August 3, the date of the Musashi festival, and Takemichi realizes that it is the day that Draken will die.[9]
Moebius Arc
Main article: Battle of 8/3 Yamagishi warns of Draken's targeting (manga) Yamagishi warns Takemichi about the Mikey faction On August 3, 2005, the day of the Musashi festival, Takemichi arrives at the shrine with Draken and meets up with Emma and Hina.[10] He and Hina wander around the festival until a sudden downpour cues them to take shelter underneath a tree in the shrine's forest grounds.[11] Takemichi helps Hina remedy her foot pain and unintentionally pins her to the tree.[12] However, as they are about to kiss, he receives a call from Kazushi Yamagishi, who warns him of a grand ploy by several members of the Mikey faction to take revenge on Draken, who previously disagreed with Mikey's decision to bail Pah-chin out of jail. Yamagishi tells him that members of the Mikey faction are not in favor of Mikey and Draken's peace agreement and wish to strike another conflict as retaliation. Concerned, Takemichi excuses himself and runs away to look for Draken and save him.[13]
Battle of 8/3 begins as Draken meets a displeased Peh-yan at Musashi Shrine's back parking lot, where Peh-yan reveals that he has teamed up with Moebius to set his counterattack plan in motion.[14] It ends with Draken as a wounded casualty, but he comes out of the battle alive as he is eventually brought to the hospital.[15] Toman declares its victory against Moebius.[16]
Valhalla Arc
Mikey justifies Kisaki's nomination As Takemichi time leaps to the past again, Toman goes to Musashi Shrine to commence the Third Division Captain Nomination Ceremony. Mikey calls for the new captain to come forward and Takemichi wonders if he is referring to him. However, two figures walk through the crowd and Takemichi is humbled by his assumptions.[17] As the new Third Division leaders approach Mikey, Takemichi attempts to make out the Captain's familiar face.
He sits at the foot of the stairs and Toman members are aggravated.[18] They riot over the captain's unmannerly behavior, but his Vice-Captain announces that he, Tetta Kisaki, is the new Third Division leader.[19] Takemichi is stunned while Toman speculates Kisaki to be one of Moebius's former members. However, they are eventually silenced by Draken, and later on, Mikey, who deems Kisaki's allegiance to Toman as necessary in preparation for the gang's upcoming showdown with Valhalla.[20]
Takemichi punches Kisaki Kisaki thanks Mikey for his promotion while Draken ruminates on Mikey's decision. Suddenly, Takemichi runs toward Kisaki and punches him across the face.[21] Draken gets mad and tells him off for disrupting the ceremony as he is not an official Toman member. The Toman captains eventually come and prepare to chastise him.[22] However, Keisuke Baji interrupts their confrontation and punches Takemichi in the captains' behalf. Mitsuya stops him, but Baji calls out to a retreating Mikey. He asks him if he will finally be thrown out of Toman for causing trouble in another one of their gatherings.[23] While Mikey contemplates the situation, Baji announces that he is leaving Toman and will become its enemy in exchange for his membership in Valhalla. Kisaki chuckles at Toman's rupturing condition and then knocks Takemichi out; unconscious
Takemichi later wakes up in the shrine to find Mikey beside him. Mikey asks if he does not like Kisaki and explains that he has to make plentiful sacrifices in making his dreams come true.[25] He then tells Takemichi of his childhood history with Baji, who is also one of Toman's founding members. As a loved one, Mikey asks Takemichi to bring Baji back from Valhalla. Takemichi accepts his favor and asks to oust Kisaki from Toman in return. Mikey is swayed by Takemichi's reasoning and strikes a deal with him.[26]
As they prepare to leave, Mikey spots Mitsuya hiding behind a tree and appoints Takemichi as a member of the Second Division under his command.[27] They later retreat and leave Takemichi alone at Musashi Shrine. Before he leaves, Takemichi finds a charm of Toman's founding members on the ground and notices that there are six of them rather than what Mikey previously claimed to be five.[28]
Chifuyu nominates Takemichi as captain After Bloody Halloween, Toman gathers at Musashi Shrine to formally conclude the battle. Takemichi is welcomed by Draken into Toman and the meeting starts.[29] Shuji Hanma takes centerstage and introduces himself as Valhalla's former leader. He then announces Valhalla's new affiliation with Toman, and the gang becomes aghast as Toman grows its numbers from 150 to 300.[30] Amid the uproar, Hanma beckons Kisaki to come forward and praises him for being at the forefront of Toman and Valhalla's pact.[31]
The cheering dies down and Mikey mourns Baji's death.[32] Chifuyu Matsuno takes over and says that he initially wanted to leave Toman but was stopped by Mikey from doing so. Seeing that leading the First Division as Captain is a big responsibility for him to uphold, Chifuyu appoints Takemichi as the new leader and promises that his succession is what Baji would have wanted.[33] Takemichi accepts the nomination and becomes the new division Captain.[34]
Black Dragon Arc
On December 31, 2005, Takemichi and Hina go to Musashi Shrine to celebrate New Year's Eve. They meet Hakkai and Yuzuha Shiba and Mitsuya with his two younger sisters, Luna and Mana.[35] While Mitsuya, Takemichi, and Hina mingle with each other and talk about Mitsuya's siblings, Hakkai notices Yuzuha's firm stare on Mitsuya and infers that she has feelings for him. Yuzuha tells Hakkai of the aftermath of the Christmas Conflict, where their older brother Taiju stepped down from delinquency, and expresses his admiration toward Takemichi. With her revelation, Hakkai realizes that rather than Mitsuya, Yuzuha is infatuated with Takemichi all along.[36]
Toman jumps to celebrate the new year (manga) Toman jumps to celebrate the new year Spotting an ema stall nearby, Takemichi and his friends purchase ema and write their wishes down on the wooden plaque. Hina asks what he wished for, followed by Hakkai and Mitsuya, but Takemichi refuses to answer and accidentally tosses his ema in the air.[37] The plaque lands by Chifuyu, who initially picks it up, but throws it away as a reflex. Fourth and Fifth Division Captains Nahoya Kawata and Yasuhiro Muto spot the members running after Takemichi and decide to follow them.[38] Eventually, the group meets Mikey, Draken, and Emma. Mikey hands Takemichi his ema back, but tosses it without care once the New Year's countdown commences. Written on the wooden plaque is Takemichi's wish to become a hero to save everyone.[39]
During Toman's first meeting of the year, Hakkai apologizes to Toman for dragging the gang into his family business which resulted in the Christmas Conflict. Toman accepts his apology and cheers for him aloud.[40] Afterward, Seishu Inui and Hajime Kokonoi, two former captains of the 10th Generation Black Dragon and the current leaders of the 11th Generation, announce that they will be joining Toman under the First Division. Mikey explains that he assigned them to Takemichi's division to comply with their wishes.[41] As they face each other, Inupi says that he does not expect Takemichi to trust them. However, he promises to work as his subordinate nonetheless.[42]
Mikey fires Kisaki (manga) Mikey fires Kisaki Before the meeting ends, Mikey unexpectedly expels Kisaki from the gang.[43] Chifuyu tells Takemichi that he reported about Kisaki's betrayal during the Christmas Conflict, but admits that he did not expect Mikey to fire him.[44] Kisaki tries to reason with him, but Mikey is firm in his decision. With Kisaki gone, Toman shrinks its numbers as former members of Moebius and Valhalla leave under Hanma and Kisaki's orders.[45] Moreover, Takemichi wonders if he had finally succeeded in his mission.[46]
Tenjiku Arc
Toman holds an emergency meeting to discuss the newest threat to the gang called Yokohama’s Tenjiku. The division leaders give a general report of the battles that occurred prior to the meeting, and Toman are stunned to find out that the members of the S-62 Generation have gathered in one big organization.[47] Through their new gang, Toman members were attacked across all divisions. Fueled by Tenjiku’s ploy, Mikey asserts a counterattack plan for revenge. Takemichi is apprehensive about Mikey’s decision, so Chifuyu advises him to time leap to collect information regarding the upcoming showdown

Black Dragon (黒龍ブラックドラゴン, Burakku Doragon?) is a Tokyo motorcycle gang that has been actively ruling Japan for generations, first established by Shinichiro Sano.[2] In line with the 10th Generation's defeat in a battle against the Tokyo Manji Gang, Black Dragon became a Toman affiliate under the First Division.[3] Its affiliation with Toman would later serve as an avenue for Takemichi Hanagaki to establish the 11th Generation with Seishu Inui as his right-hand man.[4]

Uniform
The First Generation members were often seen wearing black biker outfits similar to the Tokyo Manji Gang's uniform. During the Ninth Generation's rule, Shion Madarame and his underlings wore a white version. Its uniform was eventually remodeled once more by the 10th Generation, mimicking military garb that befitted their fearsome image.
Insignia
Black Dragon's official logo has the letters "B" and "D" illustrated above a dragon-like pattern.
Background
Founded by Shinichiro Sano in his youth, Black Dragon was the top delinquent gang in the Kanto region for generations.[5] It prospered as it upheld the First Generation's virtuous ideals until its Eighth Generation successor, Izana Kurokawa, corrupted its ranks and demolished the First Generation's good faith and morale. Shion Madarame soon inherited Izana's will with the rise of the Ninth Generation and pursued his mission to destroy Manjiro Sano. He was defeated, and Black Dragon fell into ruins.
In an effort to revive the gang, Seishu Inui initially pronounced himself as the 10th Generation founder and later on recruited Taiju Shiba to become its leader. Consequently, Black Dragon was reformed into a militaristic band of warriors until it was wiped out by the Tokyo Manji Gang in the winter of 2005. Its members assembled in Toman's First Division under the command of Takemichi Hanagaki, who later became the president and founder of the 11th Generation, with Inupi as his right-hand. ADVERTISEMENT
Structure
Black Dragon has a unique structure with a systematic succession process. It operates through the rise and fall of an "era," called a "generation," that is led by a generational leader, who was handpicked by either his predecessor or the preceding generation's members. At one known instance, it was the founder Shinichiro Sano himself who personally appointed the leader.[6] However, Black Dragon regressed to its original ordination system after his death.[7]
Black Dragon outside Hakkai's home (manga) 10th Generation Killer Squad The gang has a total of 11 generations, with the 11th being its last.[8] Each generation is commanded by a generational leader, often addressed as is or "Boss," alongside an active Vice-Leader, with the rest of the gang making up different units and squads.
The First Generation had two known units called the Guard and Special Attack, which were led by two of the generation's founding members.[9] Come the 10th Generation, similar units were established called the Attack Squad and Elite Guard, each one led by a Unit Captain,[10] who also served as the leader's close confidants and direct subordinates.[11] The 10th Generation also had a special active fighting faction called the "Killer Squad."[12]

However, this method was debarred during the early formation stages of the 10th Generation, in which Seishu Inui challenged Taiju Shiba one-on-one to determine the next generation's leader.[13] Taiju was victorious, which caused Black Dragon to undergo an absolute renovation that changed the gang's image from virtuous to notorious.[14]
While the leader has complete power and authority over his generation, his predecessor may also have a say in his activities. This was observed during Shion Madarame's reign over the Ninth Generation, with Izana Kurokawa monitoring Black Dragon's activities in the shadows despite his recent retirement as the eighth generational leader.[15]

The goals of the organization, if any, are unknown. In fact, the top brass of fellow top gang, Brahman, has a negative view of the Kanto Manji Gang, believing that unlike Tokyo Manji Gang, it has no ambition whatsoever, much contrary to Tokyo Manji Gang's original goal of creating a new age of delinquents, thus possibly meaning the Kanto Manji Gang likely engages in indiscriminate violence. Kanto Manji Gang's modus operandi has, by Brahman's beliefs, become so warped that it is distinguishable from the Tokyo Manji Gang and even believing Mikey to be a "bad guy".

Brahman (梵ブラフマン, Burafuman?) was a delinquent gang formed during Tokyo Civil War Era. It was led by Senju Kawaragi until its dissolution caused by the gang's defeat in the Battle of Three Deities.
Appearance
Uniform
Brahman's uniform primarily consisted of a black oversized hoodie with the gold gang logo etched on the backside and a matching typography of the words "Black Dragon" on the sleeves. Along with the hoodie, Brahman members were most often seen wearing dark lower garments and a pair of sneakers in the same color. On the other hand, executives and members of the top administration wore customized uniforms with personally tailored sleeves designed to the wearer's liking.
Insignia
Brahman's logo was a typography of its name stylized vertically. Its name in kanji separated the two syllables of the word "Brahman."
Background
Brahman was formed by Senju Kawaragi in the year 2006 with the goal of taking down Manjiro Sano, the infamous "Invincible Mikey," of the Kanto Manji Gang.[1] Senju sought the help of her older brother Takeomi Akashi and his colleagues from the First Generation Black Dragon in creating the team, and granted them high positions as her advisor and Top Executives respectively once Brahman was established.[2]
Brahman's origins (manga) Brahman's origins According to Ken Ryuguji, Brahman first began as a powerful group of fighters who ran an underground ring known as "B1."[3] Their affluent clients would watch matches every night through a private monitor and place their bets. After some time of running the cartel, B1 created Brahman, a fearsome militant combat group that now controls Shinjuku.[4] Brahman's formation and prevalence heavily affected the result of Tokyo Civil War Era, a two-year long confrontation period between the countless gangs in Tokyo to fill the power vacuum, in which Brahman prevailed as one of the three mightiest gangs. As a result, Brahman maintained the balance of control in Tokyo's delinquent world, alongside the Kanto Manji Gang and Rokuhara Tandai.[5]
However, despite governing Tokyo in equal power with the two other gangs, Brahman's administration owned up to the organization's initial goal, which was to stop the Kanto Manji Gang, whom they viewed in a negative light in comparison to the now-disbanded Tokyo Manji Gang.[6] ADVERTISEMENT

However, according to Seishu Inui, Brahman was akin to a Yakuza gang rather than an ordinary motorcyclist team with several acts of violence tied to them. He also stated that malicious rumors trailed the gang often as it was marshalled by adults.[12] ADVERTISEMENT Members

LEADER(S) Izana Kurokawa TERRITORIES Yokohama
Tenjiku (天竺てんじく, Tenjiku?), or Yokohama Tenjiku (横浜ヨコハマ天竺てんじく, Yokohama Tenjiku?), was Kanagawa's largest delinquent group based in Yokohama.[1] It was led and founded by Izana Kurokawa with the help of Tetta Kisaki and the S-62 Generation to get revenge on Manjiro Sano and take over the Tokyo Manji Gang. After the battle that resulted in Izana's death and S-62's arrests, Tenjiku declared its defeat and disbandment.
In the final time leap, Tenjiku is reformed into an international non-profit organization to help unprivileged orphans.
Appearance
Uniform
Tenjiku's uniform consists of a long red outer coat with the gang's signature yin and yang emblem printed on the backside. Their mottos adorn the sleeves and the rear flap of the uniform. Above the Tenjiku emblem, there is the generation (初代, First generation) while underneath is the Kanji for Yokohama (横浜, Yokohama?).
The rank depends on the uniform, the higher ranks wear a longer coat while common members wear a simple jacket.
Insignia
Background
Tenjiku was founded by the S-62 Generation members with Tetta Kisaki as the initiator of its formation. Structure
Boss - Izana is Tenjiku's supreme authority as well as its pillar. Four Heavenly Kings - The Four Heavenly Kings are the four strongest fighters in Tenjiku. It is unclear if they have the same functions as Tokyo Manji Gang's Division Captains, but it is heavily implied so, as the Four Kings all appear with their corresponding squads, and one of them (Ran Haitani) even has his own second-in-command (his brother, Rindo Haitani) Executives - Theoretically, any upper echelon member is considered an "Executive". There is, however, a member of Tenjiku that is referred to solely as an executive, that being Yasuhiro Muto. General Chief of Staff - This position is occupied by Tetta Kisaki, who joined Tenjiku shortly after getting kicked out of Tokyo Manji Gang. It is unclear what are the functions of this position, and where it falls on Tenjiku's hierarchy, but it clearly involves a lot of power and allows Kisaki to give orders to any Tenjiku member other than the Executives. It is heavily implied that the position was made just for Kisaki after he became an ally to Izana Kurokawa. ADVERTISEMENT

Rokuhara Tandai (六ろく波は羅ら単たん代だい, Rokuhara Tandai?) was a motorcycle gang formed during Tokyo Civil War Era. It was led by South Terano until his death and defeat at the Battle of Three Deities, causing Rokuhara Tandai to become an affiliate of the Kanto Manji Gang.
Appearance
Uniform
Rokuhara Tandai's uniform consists of a purple jumpsuit with the gang's name, motto, and logo weaved on the sleeves and the back design.
Insignia
The gang's logo is a tribute to its leader South's tribal tattoo. Its name is embroidered in the middle.
Background
In 2007, a year after meeting the S-62 Generation in a juvenile detention center, South Terano is released and establishes Rokuhara Tandai. South defeated the S-62 Generation members prior to the gang’s founding so they were pretty obliged when South had the idea of forming Rokuhara. Kakucho was pretty hesitant and against joining the gang mainly because he hates joining groups and reveals the whole reason he joined Tenjiku was because of his immense loyalty to Izana Kurokawa, however he changed his mind when South was able to beat him to a pulp and he admitted defeat. With the help of them, Rokuhara Tandai becomes recognized as a mighty gang alongside the Kanto Manji Gang and Brahman, who concurrently rose to the top of Tokyo's delinquent world during the city's so-called "Sengoku Period”. ADVERTISEMENT
Structure
It was led by South Terano as the Representative of the gang. Along with several S-62 Generation members, and former members of Tenjiku, they served as the gang’s executives. When Kakucho joined, he became the gang’s titular leader. The sole purpose of the gang was to defeat the Tokyo Manji Gang whom South Terano found out while serving his sentence in a juvenile detention center.
Despite its tough and powerful members, it still lost to the Kanto Manji Gang when Manjiro killed it's leader, South. The remaining members were absorbed into the Kanto Manji Gang, becoming its squad captains and executives. Members

Valhalla ( 芭流覇羅バルハラ, Baruhara?), often stylized as "WALHALLA"[2][3] and occasionally called the "The Headless Angel",[4] was a motorbike gang anonymously formed by Tetta Kisaki to make way for his promotion as Manjiro Sano's second-in-command in the Tokyo Manji Gang. Alongside this goal was to make Mikey the leader of Valhalla, which would fortify the gang's foundation and turn Toman into a powerful criminal organization.
At its helm was Shuji Hanma, who served as Valhalla's acting leader to counterbalance Kisaki's absence from the gang. Hanma led the gang until its disbandment and allegiance to Toman in the aftermath of Bloody Halloween.
Appearance
Uniform
Valhalla's uniform is a white MA-1 bomber jacket with the words "TEAM WALHALLA" and the image of a headless angel on the back. A red ribbon tag with the word "WALHALLA" is also present on its left arm, where it is attached to the zipper of the pocket on the upper arm.

Background
Formed as part of Tetta Kisaki's plan to take over the criminal underworld, Valhalla intended to have Manjiro Sano as its head. Kisaki believed that Valhalla was the perfect gang for Mikey to lead as its cruel nature would change him and make him more susceptible to manipulation. This end was met in the timeline where Valhalla won Bloody Halloween, making Mikey the head of the gang and reforming the Tokyo Manji Gang as a criminal organization. Mizo Middle Five, or Mizo Mid's Ferocious Five,[2] is a middle school friend group from Mizo Middle School. Background
Mizo Middle Five was formed sometime during or before the year 2005. Their leader was Atsushi Sendo with Takemichi Hanagaki as his second-in-command. Later on, all of the members became apart of the Tokyo Manji Gang under the First Division. Plot
Toman Arc
In the original timeline the Mizo Mid Five had no respect and were "slaves" to the Tokyo Manji Gang. The crew was also disbanded when Takemichi left the gang in high school. The slave status of the crew changed when Takemichi stood up to their "master" Masataka Kiyomizu and caught the eye of Ken Ryuguji and Manjiro Sano during his third time leap. However the group was still not taken seriously at this time.
Moebius Arc
During the Battle of 8/3, they fought against Kiyomasa and his soldiers in an attempt to save Draken and Takemichi, although they were severely beaten and failed to win against Kiyomasa's cronies.
It is not known when the four other members of the crew joined Toman, but possibly did so after the Battle of 8/3 or Bloody Halloween as they are seen as executives of Toman alongside Takemichi in the present.
Tenjiku Arc
The next battle involving the crew was when all five of the members were jumped by Tenjiku soldiers arriving in Shibuya. After that the crew was attacked by Yasuhiro Muto and other members of Toman's Fifth Division as the latter wanted to torture Takemichi and convince Hajime Kokonoi to join Tenjiku. The Mizo Mid Five joined alongside other Toman members in the Tenjiku fight.
Kanto Manji Arc
In the current timeline. all five members of the crew attend the same high school. After the Battle of Three Deities, Mizo Mid joins Second Generation Toman, with Takemichi being the leader. During the Final Battle, Mizo Mid fought against Shion Madarame where Takuya, Makoto, and Yamagishi were defeated. However, Akkun was able to defeat Shion. Akkun was later defeated by Shuji Hanma in addition to Chifuyu Matsuno, Takashi Mitsuya, and Hakkai Shiba.

Moebius' uniform was a white tokkō-fuku (特攻服, special attack clothing?) with the words "SHIN∞JUKU MOEBIUS" printed at the back. Its sleeves presented the wearer's generation number and position. Its leader wore a similar uniform in the color red with the words "Bring it on hotshot" weaved at the front of his uniform. His sleeves bore the words "Eighth Generation President" (八代目総長?).
Insignia
The logo is a snake eating its own tail that goes to create the symbol of infinity, above the emblem is the Kanji for Shinjuku (新宿, Shinjuku-ku), while underneath is the gang's name.
Background
Moebius was formed in 2001, approximately two years before the Tokyo Manji Gang.[3] Structure
Moebius' structure was in the form of generations. It is unclear how these generations came to be and how long each one lasted, but the most defined generation was the eighth, led by Nobutaka Osanai, until Moebius' defeat against Toman in the Battle of 8/3.
Moebius' latest generations had two groups, comprising those born in 1988 and 1990. Osanai's 1988 group disbanded after their defeat in the Battle of 8/3, whereas the remaining members of the 1988 and 1989 groups, temporarily led by Shuji Hanma, formed under the biker gang Valhalla. After Toman won against Valhalla in Bloody Halloween, Tetta Kisaki was recognized to be Moebius' second official leader who commanded the 1990 group. The S-62 Generation (S-62 世代, S-62 Sedai?), or the Vicious Generation, was an exclusive group of six teenagers born in the years 1987 and 1988 known for their acts of violence. It was led by Izana Kurokawa. Years after the members' parting, they gathered once more to establish Tenjiku.
Name
It can be assumed that the name S-62 Generation stands for Shōwa 62, since Shōwa 62 is the Japanese year that is equivalent to the year 1987 (in the Gregorian Calendar), the year in which half of the members, including Izana Kurokawa, were born in. However there are no sources that specifically confirm this explanation. Background
In the year 2001 at a juvenile detention center, Izana Kurokawa recruited formidable fighters his age and established a small exclusive group called the S-62 Generation.[1] With him as the reigning leader, they involved themselves with various heinous crimes, such as robbery, assault, and drug trafficking, and formed gangs of their own to strengthen their connections and expand their means of acquiring assets.[2] Together, they also formed Tenjiku[3] and were ultimately feared as the "Vicious Generation."[4]
After Tenjiku's defeat in the battle against the Tokyo Manji Gang that resulted in Izana's death and S-62's arrest, the group was disbanded. However, the four remaining living members of the group eventually joined Rokuhara Tandai once they were let free from the detention center. ADVERTISEMENT
Structure
The S-62 Generation strictly consisted of six members who were born in 1987 and 1988, namely Izana Kurokawa, Yasuhiro Muto, Kanji Mochizuki, Ran and Rindo Haitani, and Shion Madarame. Izana led the group as the initiator of the alliance. Members

MIKEY TELLS TAKEMICHI
Manjiro Sano (佐野さの 万まん次じ郎ろう, Sano Manjirō?), or Mikey (マイキー, Maikī?), is a founding member and the former leader (総長, Sōchō?) of the Tokyo Manji Gang. In a past timeline, Mikey was the leader of the Kanto Manji Gang. He is the deuteragonist and final antagonist of the Tokyo Revengers manga series and its anime adaptation.
Appearance
Mikey is a teenager of below-average height with pitch-black piercing eyes and long blonde hair that is only tied at the top with the hair on the sides moving freely.
In the original timeline, adult Mikey's hair was slicked back, and he still had his CB250T motorcycle.
In his second appearance as an adult, Mikey appears with short black hair and a dragon tattoo on his neck similar to the ones Draken and Takashi Mitsuya have. He rides a CB205T owned previously by his brother, Shinichiro Sano. [6]
In the latest present timeline, he has short white hair with a middle part undercut hairstyle and a Bonten tattoo on his nape with a design similar to his adoptive brother's, Izana Kurokawa's, earrings. He is noted to be thinner, deranged, and with heavy bags under his eyes.
In the final time leap, he has a short black hair which is parted at the middle. He is seen wearing a dark blue suit and a racing helmet and suit seen in a visualization of Mikey racing.[7]
Personality
Mikey is usually a carefree teenager who loves to joke and play pranks around those he considers his close friends. He cares for them greatly and is determined to protect their honor. He rarely shows any sign of weakness, as he believes himself to be the foundation and support for Toman, and if the pillar himself were to display weakness, Toman would also be weakened.
As Toman's leader, his aura changes dramatically, becoming imposing and commanding. While Toman's members respect Mikey, they also hold a degree of fear towards him and his immense prowess. Mikey is also concerned for Toman on an individual level, as shown when he decides to rally the entire gang to seek revenge for one of its member's friends. Despite his imposing aura as Toman's leader, Mikey is still a child at heart. He has childish tendencies and loves to sleep whenever he feels like it.
The events that transpire throughout the story force Mikey to quickly mature. He is still an incredibly charismatic leader, but there is now an underlying melancholy beneath the surface. Indeed, within Mikey, there exists a great darkness. He is forced to carry the burdens of a troubling past, teetering between treading the right path and succumbing to that darkness. He usually hides this with his carefree grin. Without the right people to guide him, he becomes corrupted, turning into one of the most heinous criminals in the present. It is a large mission of Takemichi to make sure Mikey never veers off the right path ever again. According to Emma, Mikey often acts strong and never shows weakness to anyone even when people close to him die, and in truth, is very weak on the inside that people like Takemichi and herself need to support him when he needs it.
Even in instances where Mikey succumbs to that darkness, there are conflicting aspects of his personality and contradicting behavior. He is seen to be attracted to and seeking to embrace a life of violence, committing multiple atrocities or otherwise enabling his enforcers to carry them out without any apparent sign of emotional response, acting with indifference and a cold poker face, being even capable of hurting or even gunning down dear friends of his. At the same time, he tries to distance himself from his friends, likely knowing he won't be able to control his impulses, trying to separate himself from taking central command of his crew, and even going as far as attempting suicide as a means to seek both solace and a way to put an end to the chaos he helps create.
The central catalyst for this darkness is loss. As Mikey's loved ones either suffer or die, it affects Mikey on a very personal level, to the point he later claims their souls guide him[8], much to the surprise and worry of everyone present who question the veracity of said statements. Along with the increasing body count, Mikey's mental and emotional state deteriorates accordingly. Although he is still capable of acting composed and normal the effects of this growing darkness become more apparent even to Mikey himself. It is a result of this loss that renders Mikey vulnerable to manipulation and subsequently degrades his moral compass. In fact, in every timeline with a dark future, the cornerstone was triggered through the death of those closest to Mikey which allowed third parties to fill the void in his heart with evil.
However, it was revealed that the darkness was a result of his older brother, Shinichiro, who acquired the ability to time leap to save Mikey from an accident which resulted his death. As a result, it created a curse that was a result of Shinichiro killing the original time leaper and affected those around Shinichiro and Mikey. Believing he couldn't contain his darkness any further, he distanced himself so he could prevent them from dying because of the curse. However after he and Takemichi both time-leaped into the distant past, the curse has ceased to exist and Mikey is finally free from his violent impulses. ADVERTISEMENT
Skills and Abilities
Authority
As the leader of Toman, Mikey has absolute control over its members. His presence is able to strengthen the entire gang as a whole, amplifying everyone's strength, making Toman an incredibly formidable and dangerous opponent for enemies.
Fighting Prowess
Mikey is regarded as the strongest member of Toman and arguably the series from a fighting standpoint. His epithet, the Invincible Mikey, is indicative of his strength and how he is revered among other delinquent groups. He is strong enough to incapacitate other elite gang members with a single kick, and his enemies often remark that they cannot believe that he is a mere teenager.
He favors kicks more than punches, as it deals much more damage and eliminates his height disadvantage, making him able to go toe-to-toe with tall opponents. Although he has great punching ability, his kicks have crushed cars. The destructive power behind his legs is so infamous, his kicks are regarded as being "nuclear".[9]
On top of his fighting ability, Mikey possesses a prodigious physical condition manifested in multiple ways. For one, his lightning-fast reflexes make him insusceptible to surprise attacks.[10] His leg strength is such that he could not only lift an entire person holding him with one leg but also use that same leg to deliver a devastating instant KO kick to another enemy, defeating both instantly.
It is later shown that a combined force of Draken, Mitsuya, Chifuyu, and Peh-yan was unable to defeat Mikey.
Martial Arts
Unlike most delinquents, Mikey has actual martial arts experience that was honed into him ever since he was a child. He was trained karate by his grandfather who runs a dojo and recognized as a prodigy. Due to this, his fighting sense, flexibility, and reflexes are unparalleled.
His signature and finishing move is a high right roundhouse kick that is executed at a blinding speed to the opponent's temple, which has caught all but the strongest opponents off guard. It hooks the opponent's head and slams it into the ground. Almost all who are hit by this kick get knocked out instantly. This kick has also been seen done using Mikey's left leg.
Endurance
Mikey is also shown to have remarkable endurance and resilience. He has been hit by blows that would have knocked out most individuals, yet he can still shake them off and keep fighting. The few times that he has been knocked out, he awoke quite quickly. Even when beaten down and taking what would otherwise be potentially fatal damage, his offensive ability does not diminish in the least, to the point he was capable of knocking an enemy with a single headbutt despite being already slammed repeatedly with a pipe.
Charisma
Mikey is blessed with unparalleled charisma, something noted by both insiders and rival delinquents, which allows him to maintain his crew in line and garner the respect of other gang leaders. This charisma is, however, a double-edged sword, as while he has the potential to rally and lead the entire delinquent world under his banner, this power can easily become distorted and incredibly destructive. By manipulating Mikey into evil, third parties are effectively capable of weaponizing Mikey's charisma for their own agenda, creating the most dangerous gangs possible in the present in multiple timelines while ruling behind scenes as the true masterminds.
Intuition
Mikey has a rather unique and fairly keen sense of intuition that manifests in differing somewhat supernatural ways. Upon his first encounter with Takemichi, he was somehow able to tell that he was not a normal middle schooler, although he couldn't fully understand the true extent of Takemichi's nature, and remained somewhat suspicious about who and what he was, due to being capable of somewhat predict future events. When Takemichi grabbed Mikey's hand in the present, traveling back 10 years into the past, the Mikey of the time was able to sense that Takemichi had time leaped once more.
Another application manifests as a result of his deep bond with his friends. Due to this Mikey is capable of detecting their wills. He correctly deduced that Mitsuya was going to do something on Christmas night and even discern his location, saving his friends from a predicament. He claims that his big brother and Baji's souls guided him.[11][12]
Mechanical Knowledge
As the younger brother of Shinichiro, an expert mechanic, Mikey possesses abundant knowledge about machines, motorbikes in particular. He can fix and assemble parts of a motorbike well.

Izana Kurokawa (黒川 くろかわイザナ, Kurokawa Izana?) is the former Boss (総長, Sōchō?) of Tenjiku and the leader of the Eighth Generation Black Dragon. At age 13, he founded the S-62 Generation. As of the latest timeline, Izana is the Eighth Division Captain of the Tokyo Manji Gang. He is the main antagonist in Tenjiku Arc.
Appearance
Izana is a half-Filipino, half-Japanese man of average height with large purple eyes, a light brown complexion, and straight short white hair styled in a center-parted undercut. He was most often seen wearing the standard Tenjiku uniform with a red tailcoat and a pair of Hanafuda-derived earrings. In the latest timeline, Izana has wavy hair.
Personality
Although originally a benevolent person during his youth, Izana is a bitter and broken individual in the present. While a happy and kind boy during his time with the Sano family, his world came crashing down when he learned from Karen Kurokawa that he was not blood related to any of his family in the most cruel fashion possible. Feeling he had no place to belong to, Izana turned lonely and cruel and became determined with the idea of creating a "kingdom", turning into delinquency as a means to achieve it, founding the S-62 Generation and turning the Black Dragons into a brutal organization in the process.
Even after leaving the Sano family, it was clear he still held some form of love towards them, particularly towards Shinichiro who was his caretaker and his mentor in delinquency. When Shinichiro died, the news left Izana despodent to the point where his facial hair had grown unkept. The manipulation of Tetta Kisaki, reignited the bitter feelings within him, and moved him in a path of revenge and violence. Izana in fact, found comfort in Kisaki's malice.
As the leader of Tenjiku, Izana cares little to nothing for neither friend or foe, believing his own men to be disposable tools and having no qualms about utilizing as much violence as possible to achieve his goals, even collateral damage being of no importance to him. Izana's cruelty is amongst the deadliest in the series, as the future that was dominated by the Tenjiku influenced Tokyo Manji Gang, was described as the worst of all futures, with a tremendously high body count that not even Kisaki himself nor Mikey himself could escape from.
Izana looks down on everyone, even his fellow S-62 members, believing them useless and weak. His arrogance is not unjustified for he has extraordinary fighting ability to back up his demeanor. Although normally composed in nearly every situation, Izana can break easily when things do not go his way. When Mikey is able to turn the tides of their fight on his favor, Izana loses his cool and even desperately attempts to kill Mikey with a gun, being in denial that he could be defeated, and tried by all means to assert victory even though his men had been demoralized and had accepted their loss.
It was only when Izana himself became fatally wounded, that brought a semblance of peace to him, revealing more of his vulnerabilities and how, despite his outwardly treatment, truly cared for Kakucho who was his right-hand man and confidant. Izana's spirit would later help Kakucho at a crucial time.
During the final time leap, Izana presumably remained virtually the same person until his defeat by Toman and his subsequent incorporation into the latter. Following Toman's disbandment, Izana reformed Tenjiku as an organization that aided orphans, and managed to reach worldwide influence and recognition, evidencing that Izana had changed for the better, by aiding those in circumstances similar to his own.
Izana plays the guitar. He is interested in plants and fish since his room is equipped with a foliage plant and a giant fish tank.[4] ADVERTISEMENT
Skills and Abilities
Authority
Izana Kurokawa is the leader of Tenjiku, which means he has command over all his subordinates.
Fighting Prowess
He is shown to be the strongest member of Tenjiku and is also shown to be able to initially fight on par with Mikey.
According to Toman's Former 5th Division Captain, Yasuhiro Muto, not only is Izana a capable fighter, but what makes him the strongest in Tenjiku is his "Undefeatable Senses". This enables him to read his opponent's moves with relative ease and thus is able to counter them.

Takemichi Hanagaki (花垣はながき武道タケミチ, Hanagaki Takemichi?), or Takemitchy (タケミっち, Takemicchi?), is the protagonist of the Tokyo Revengers manga series as well as its anime adaptation.
After learning about the deaths of the Tachibana siblings, one of which was his ex-girlfriend Hinata Tachibana, Takemichi time-leaps exactly twelve years back in time. Through his time-leaping ability, he learns about the infamous Tokyo Manji Gang, a middle school biker gang in the past that is responsible for Hina’s death in the present. After unintentionally rescuing Hina’s younger brother Naoto Tachibana from the incident, Takemichi becomes determined to work with him to save Hina from an unfavorable future.
During his time leaps, Takemichi uncovers the Tokyo Manji Gang's history and how it was shaped into becoming a criminal organization in the present. Takemichi becomes a member of the gang and soon, the First Division Captain (壱番隊いちばんたい隊長たいちょう, Ichiban-tai Taichō?). His involvement in Toman would later serve as a way for him to become the leader (総長そうちょう, Sōchō?) of the 11th Generation Black Dragon in 2006. Two years later, he becomes the leader of the Second Generation Tokyo Manji Gang. In his final time leap, he becomes the Deputy President (総長そうちょう代理だいり, Sōchō Dairi?) of Toman.
Appearance
Takemichi stands at an average height with a light complexion. He has bleached yellow hair kept in a faux hawk but sometimes has it down in a tousled style. He bears blue or gray eyes in the anime and green or brown in the manga. He has a scar on his left hand from a stab wound and another scar on his left foot from a bullet wound, although it is never shown.[9] He usually wears either his high school uniform consisting of a white button-up and light gray pants, or his gang attire comprising of a black tokkō-fuku with the Toman logo and manifesto woven on the sides and Keisuke Baji's white sash. He also wears a matching clover necklace with Hina.[10] In the final time leap, Takemichi always keeps his hair tousled.
In 2005, Takemichi wore the Mizo Middle School uniform, which consisted of a white dress shirt with a black blazer, black slacks, and loafers. As an adult, Takemichi has tousled wavy black hair. He wears plain casual clothes, and sometimes his work uniform from the CD DVD Rental Store.
In an alternate timeline, Takemichi has slicked back black hair. He wears a striped suit.
Personality
Takemichi beaten up (anime) Takemichi's tendency to cry. Takemichi was an individual who has lost his sense of direction. Thus, he had low self-esteem, always apologizing for even the smallest things and easily crying. As noted by those around him and even himself, all he is good for is apologizing. He also holds a grudge towards wealthy people because he himself is not very financially stable.[11]
However, going back in time again and again gradually molds Takemichi into a completely different person. Slowly, he turns from a coward into a man with unshakable conviction. Even facing insurmountable odds, he refuses to back down. He becomes the one who holds Toman together through their hardships and turns into its unofficial leader, guiding even Mikey and Draken onto the right paths. During even Toman's lowest points, it is Takemichi's unyielding spirit that pushes on his fellow companions.
Takemichi challenges Kiyomasa (anime) Takemichi's unwavering spirit to protect his friends. Takemichi is completely loyal to those he considers his friends and fiercely protective of them. He is willing to risk his very life to ensure that they are safe and sound. This loyalty spurs his determination to create a better future for the ones he cares about. This is shown through his countless leaps back in time to change the gruesome outcome of his loved ones.
In a fight, Takemichi has never backed down. He is more willing to be beaten within an inch of his life than to admit defeat. This has become a huge source of inspiration for Toman's members and has proven instrumental even against all odds.
Takemichi is noted to be very similar in personality to Shinichiro Sano with Draken pointing out both are "weak to women, weak at fights, but reliable". Due to being mentally an adult when he time leaps 12 years into the past, Takemichi tends to address others more politely.
Takemichi has horrible hygiene and habits as he neglects cleaning his room and has become accustomed to its disgusting state. ADVERTISEMENT
Skills and Abilities
Authority
As a captain in Toman, Takemichi has power over his squadron and can lead them as he wishes. His outstanding leadership has been instrumental in strengthening Toman as a whole.
Charisma
Takemichi is noted by many people to possess an extensive charisma similar to Shinichiro Sano. He has constantly inspired Toman members throughout every fight. His charisma is more prominent after the Kanto Incident and was fought over by top delinquents to have him on their respective teams.
Reputation
Over the course of the series, Takemichi has seen a notorious rise in his name. As he travels to the past and gets himself involved in many fairly dangerous incidents and elevates his status inside of Toman, it has greatly bolstered his delinquent career in stark contrast with his fighting ability. As his many exploits and feats have become public knowledge within the delinquent world, it has granted him an elevated status to the point he was a target for recruitment by some of the most infamous gangs after the Tokyo Sengoku Period. Despite lacking the fighting aptitude normally associated with one with such a historical, those who have witnessed him are fairly aware of Takemichi's character including many just as infamous and more powerful delinquents, which further propels his image. When he openly declared his intentions to defeat the infamous Mikey when surrounded by both Brahman and Rokuhara Tandai, there was not the tiniest shred of doubt among the central figures from either nor from Draken or Seishu Inui, a testament that they believe he is capable of such a nigh impossible feat. The only exception being South Terano likely by virtue of personally not knowing Takemichi himself.
Endurance
Takemichi is nowhere near the strongest fighter, but he is noted to be one of the, if not the most, resilient fighters thus far. He has been shown to take blows that would have knocked cold anyone else and still stand up and even retaliate. Among his greatest demonstrations of durability include, but are not limited to: Being stabbed in his hand with a knife and still being able to fight competently and defeat a much stronger enemy; Taking a bullet to the foot and still being able to run in pursuit of his enemy; Getting ambushed with a brick to his head to fundamentally no effect, even though he was already beaten to a bloody pulp. Thus, his willpower and ability to take hits are his forte.
Fighting Prowess
Takemichi is quite lacking in his attack power. His strength and fighting abilities are around the average delinquent's. Rarely has he won by himself, but his resilience has stalled enemies enough to allow more powerful allies time to rush to the scene countless times. If the situation is desperate enough, his willpower makes it nigh impossible to knock him down and allows him to significantly weaken foes stronger than him through exhaustion. Takemichi's strength scales depending on how high the stakes are. Normally, he has trouble against a few regular delinquents, but he has temporarily knocked down an incredibly strong fighter in his desperation before.
His fighting abilities have nonetheless, been shown to improve over time. Nonetheless, Takemichi lacks finesse and technique in his approach even downright resorting to methods considered disgraceful such as biting. He is later capable of overwhelming the likes of Tetta Kisaki in a one-on-one fight, and even kicking the gun Kisaki held at Takemichi out of his hands before he could even react, and all of that, despite being previously beaten to an inch of his life and having a gunshot on his foot. He is also capable fighting on par with Kakucho, where he sent the latter flying with a single punch during his fight against Kanto Manji.
Time Travel
Takemichi suggests shaking hands (manga) Takemichi requires a handshake with a trigger person to time leap. Takemichi possesses a supernatural skill that allows him to time travel. However, he is only able to travel back exactly 12 years. Also, whenever he is in the past, the present timeline does not stop, but keeps going for however long Takemichi is in the past. To trigger this ability, he must shake hands with Naoto Tachibana in the present to go back to the past and shake hands with him in the past to go back to the present. Whatever Takemichi does has an impact on the present, which allows him to change the future.
This time leaping ability has several side effects, for one it causes memory lapses to occur. When Takemichi travels to the past, he often finds himself in situations he does not understand, as his past self still lived his life normally with Takemichi having to piece together how he came to where he is and what he was doing. The same holds true when he jumps back into the present, whether this has changed or not Takemichi awakens with no knowledge of what he was doing at that point in time.
Another effect involves his own persona since his present and past selves are comparably different despite being the same person. Many note that Takemichi acts more mature at certain intervals and wonder about his drastic personality changes. Whenever Takemichi travels to the past, he is in full control of his body and is the dominant entity. It is not known if his past self has any awareness of his future self's time-traveling abilities or whether the past self remains conscious or aware of any of the actions of his future self when it takes over.
This ability to travel in time triggers based on a strong, mutual desire to change specific events in the past to alter the future. When Naoto no longer had any major inclination to change time as he had achieved his goals, Takemichi was unable to travel in time. This ability to travel in time is not limited exclusively to Naoto, but can be triggered by shaking the hands of another individual with whom he shares a strong desire to change events. As of the Final Arc, Takemichi is capable of time leaping by shaking hands with Mikey, however, in this case, he is only able to travel back 10 years into the past. Although this difference in time leaping ability is not fully explained as of yet, it can be hinted that Takemichi can leap only at the precise point of time where his actions can have the greatest impact.
Even though the effects of his interventions on the timeline seem to occur immediately after Takemichi alters certain aspects, the full extent of what has changed is not immediately known to either Takemichi or Naoto. In fact, whenever Takemichi alters the timeline, Naoto is ignorant of any change that occurred, and lives his life normally, as if the time leaping never existed in the first place. It is only when Takemichi travels back into the present that Naoto remembers about the time leaping, thus serving as an instant alert to Naoto that Takemichi has returned. It can be argued that the reverse is true, when Takemichi travels to the past, the past version of the people whom he shook hands with will sense him too. Although Naoto is not seen knowing this, the past Mikey was able to sense that Takemichi was back in the past.
There is a significant limitation to this power, however. In order for Takemichi to time leap back into the present, both he and the person he shook hands with must be alive. If either is dead, then Takemichi is effectively stuck in the past no matter how many times he shakes hands with the person in the present. When this happens his only means to return to the present is by changing the timeline so that both people will live in the present.
It is revealed that he inherited this power from his predecessor, Shinichiro Sano, in the current timeline after the latter successfully saved his younger brother, Mikey from an accident in the past, and saved both Takemichi and Hina from middle school bullies, few months before Shinichiro is accidentally killed by Kazutora Hanemiya. Takemichi first awakened this power in the first timeline of Kisaki's reign involving Hina's first death.[12]
Foresight
Takemichi blocks Mikey (manga) Takemichi using his foresight to block one of Mikey's attacks. After meeting up with Senju Kawaragi, Takemichi sees a future vision of her demise. The triggers for this power are unknown. He also felt her blood on his hands and clothing. An extension of this power of his was already foreshadowed previously as he had been able at times to catch glimpses of events he himself had no knowledge of but that had already occurred, such as Mikey murdering Kazutora Hanemiya during the Bloody Halloween or when Hinata Tachibana rejected Tetta Kisaki whenever he confessed to her.[13][14]
During his rematch with Manjiro Sano, Takemichi's ability to see the future has improved to the point that he can predict Mikey's sudden movements.

Haruchiyo Akashi (明司アカシ 春ハル千夜チヨ, Akashi Haruchiyo?), also known as Haruchiyo Sanzu (三サン途ズ 春ハル千夜チヨ, Sanzu Haruchiyo?), is the Vice-Leader of the Kanto Manji Gang. Two years before Kanto Manji's foundation, Haruchiyo was the Fifth Division Vice-Captain of the Tokyo Manji Gang and later followed Yasuhiro Muto into Tenjiku. In an alternate present timeline, he is Bonten's Number 2. As of the final time leap, he became one of the founding members of Toman and the Captain of the Fifth Division.
Appearance
Haruchiyo is of average height with long rosy pink hair in the manga (dyed bleach blond in the anime) and downturned eyes with prominent eyelashes. He wears piercings on his right ear and has permanent scarring on the corners of his lips. Haruchiyo notably shares the same appearance with his younger sister, Senju Kawaragi. He is usually seen wearing the Kanto Manji Gang uniform.
When he was affiliated with the Tokyo Manji Gang, Haruchiyo wore its standard gang uniform with a black mask to cover his scars. When he was much younger, he kept his short hair swept to one side and gelled back on the other. He never wore a mask until meeting Yasuhiro Muto.
As an adult, Haruchiyo's pink hair is styled in a mullet that reaches down to his shoulders. He has a Bonten tattoo on his right forearm and four piercings on each ear. He frequently wears formal attire.
Haruchiyo's eye color changes often. It is mainly blue, but has seen to be green,[3] yellow,[5] and pink[6] eyes in the manga. In an alternate timeline, Haruchiyo had a scar on his left eye instead of his mouth.[7]
After Takemichi and Mikey successfully averts tragedies through time-leaping together, Haruchiyo no longer has scars.[8]
Personality
As a teenager, Haruchiyo has a calm demeanor and rarely talks. He was extremely loyal and much nicer to those he follows and worships. However, it is later revealed that he is also quite manipulative and is exceptionally good at deceiving other people.
As an adult, Haruchiyo seems to be more extroverted, blunt, and loud. Similarly, he resembles Joker. He is ruthless and displays psychopathic tendencies. It’s implied this is caused by the drugs he takes, which provokes his rather maniac personality. He takes sadistic delight and notorious euphoria when executing traitors, while voicefully stating he is enacting Mikey's will. When encountering Takemichi, Haruchiyo ordered him to be silent for the "king" would speak, and threatened to shoot Takemichi for his casual approach, believing it a disrespect.
In his younger days, before meeting Yasuhiro Muto, he was described as a wild horse who couldn’t keep himself out of trouble. This made it quite difficult for other divisions in the gang to manage him. It is said later on that he is often banned from meetings due to his ‘bad character’.
Haruchiyo’s most notorious trait is his fanatical idolatry towards Manjiro Sano, believing Mikey to be his "king" (akin to the Chess King), and thus deserving of the utmost respect, loyalty and devotion. He is so inclined towards protecting Mikey or the image of him, that he assaulted a gang by himself when they were badmouthing Toman. He also approached Mucho when released from detention, purely to kill him for treason for betraying his king, going as far as brutalize him to his bones for his remnants to be left to be found afterwards.
Prior to Shinichiro's time leap, where Mikey is tragically stuck in a vegetative state, Haruchiyo did not fall into madness for four years. Although being a crazed katana-wielding individual in every timeline, he was not as prevalent in the original timeline, only doing so out of grief of Mikey's previous condition.
Following Takemichi and Mikey's successful time-leaping on averting tragedies together, Haruchiyo is no longer a fanatic psychopath, manipulative, nor a katana-crazed individual. ADVERTISEMENT
Skills and Abilities
Authority
The positions held by Haruchiyo have varied depending on different futures and pasts. He is Bonten's number 2, the Toman Fifth Division Vice-Captain, and the Vice-Leader of the Kanto Manji Gang, meaning, he has the highest authority in the gang aside from Mikey.[9]
Manipulation
Haruchiyo may appear to be a calm and trustworthy person, but is actually very manipulative. He was able to manipulate Mucho for a very long time and dismembered him after he betrayed Mikey.[10] This manipulative trait has ceased, following Mikey and Takemichi's successful time travel to undo tragedies together.
Fighting Prowess
Haruchiyo has been shown to be a capable fighter. He is always seen fighting with a weapon. Haruchiyo was shown to be capable enough to fight both Ran and Rindo Haitani who together are an extremely powerful combination. He also effortlessly managed to defeat his little sister, Senju Kawaragi who at one point was considered one of the Three Deities, although he did mention it was partially because it was him who raised her. While using a katana he was seen fighting Tenjiku's former strongest Kakucho, with himself having the advantage in the situation.

Shinichiro Sano (佐野さの 真一郎しんいちろう, Sano Shin'ichirō?) was the founder and First Generation President of Black Dragon. He was the older brother of Manjiro and Emma Sano and the adoptive older brother of Izana Kurokawa.
Appearance
Shinichiro had unkempt short hair similar to the color of his dull black eyes. He was slim, six feet tall, and had a heart-shaped face, notably looking a lot like his younger brother Manjiro Sano. His lips were thin and he would regularly smoke a cigarette. Despite running a motor shop, he was never seen wearing a uniform and opted to sport casual clothes instead. He would wear a pearl white shirt, light wash jeans, and a pair of slip-on shoes for footwear. Sometimes while working, he had a jacket wrapped around his waist. He rarely wore accessories but had a silver chain dangle around his neck.
As an adolescent in his delinquent phase, Shinichiro kept a neatly styled pompadour and wore the traditional Black Dragon uniform.

Personality
Shinichiro is described as being "weak to women, weak in fights, but reliable." Shinichiro was a notorious delinquent with an unequaled reputation who garnered the respect of many delinquents, both inside his gang and those of rival gangs. Although he was a terrible fighter, his caring personality and ability to stand up for others, along with his humble nature earned him the loyalty of many delinquents much stronger than him.
As a result of this elevated status, his bike shop became a place where delinquents could gather freely, and where every visitant displayed nothing but respect towards Shinichiro. He saw the good in people and hoped for them to be led on the right path in life instead of walking alone.
Shinichiro was a kind person who could look out for others, particularly his family whom he loved dearly, teaching his younger siblings about delinquency, fashion, and bikes amongst other things. His grandfather was mildly annoyed with Shinichiro's tendency to avoid training as he believed it a chore.
Despite quitting his position, Shinichiro was on the lookout for the delinquent world and looked at Black Dragon fondly. Greatly treasuring his former gang, it was his dream in life that both Izana and eventually Mikey would inherit command over the gang at some point, and was saddened when Black Dragon changed into a more brutal organization. Shinichiro was a delinquent of legendary status, being a highly renown figure in the world of delinquents. Being the founder of Black Dragon, he held complete command one of the strongest gangs ever seen. His guidance and leadership were highly praised and allowed him to lead countless powerful delinquents. Even after his death, his name remains well known amongst delinquent circles. Even older generations of delinquents speak nothing but marvels of his person and his ability to lead delinquents no matter their origin.
Fighting Prowess
Shinichiro is said to have been a terrible fighter, with many of those who pledged their loyalty to him being considerably stronger than he ever was. In great contrast to this claim, in an alternate timeline, Shinichiro was shown to be capable of cracking a wall with his fists, albeit during a fit of extreme rage. He was also capable of one-sidedly beating a group of thugs all by himself.
Charisma
Shinichiro possessed unparalleled charisma. During his prime and many years after, his name remained well-known amongst delinquents. Shinichiro was capable of inspiring others because of his ability to stand up for others along with his impressively humble nature despite his fame. These traits made Shinichiro universally respected and looked up to. Despite being a very weak fighter, he was capable of leading not just Black Dragon but also in a more unofficial sense, the delinquent world as well, for even rival gangs respected him.
Time Travel
Shinichiro used to possess the supernatural ability that allows him to time travel, which he only used once to alter the timeline in order to save Manjiro from an accident.[4] Following his successful attempt, he transfers this power to a young Takemichi, after he saved him and Hina from middle school bullies

Ran Haitani (灰谷はいたに 蘭らん, Haitani Ran?) is an Eighth Division member (捌番隊 隊員, Hachi-tai Taiin?) of the Tokyo Manji Gang. He was a member of the S-62 Generation and a founding member of Tenjiku, then Rokuhara Tandai’s Number 2 a couple of years later. In the previous timelines, Ran is the Special Attack Force Captain of the Kanto Manji Gang[3] and a Bonten executive.
Appearance
Ran has a lanky build and a small face with purple downturned eyes, blond eyebrows. His shoulder-length hair is alternately dyed in the colors of black and blond, with his roots and their end sections black and the midsection blond. Ran often styles his hair in two neatly-woven pigtail braids in battle but would wear his hair down on occasion. He also has a matching tattoo with his younger brother on the left side of his back and chest, stretching from his nape and collarbones down to his torso and end of his foot. He wears a single black earring on his left ear and is most often seen in a black Kanto Manji Gang uniform. When outside of gang duty, Ran wears a gray loose-fitting sweatshirt and black pants.
Ran and his brother were known as the more stylish delinquents, which made Takeshi Mitsuya and people who liked fashion hold a lot of admiration towards them when he was younger.
The uniforms he wears which are always tailored to be a different colour than the rest of the members represents the independence of the Haitani Brothers, that they never are never supposed to nor want to be officially part of any gang and purely stick to themselves as a duo. While in Tenjiku, Ran wore a black version of the gang uniform featuring a skull motif on the collar alongside a light-colored belt and gloves. In Rokuhara Tandai, Ran wore a black version of the uniform with contrasting white seams and a belt. In Toman, Ran also wore a white version of the uniform, instead of the official black colour. At age 13, Ran’s hair was purely blond.
In the present timeline, Ran cuts his hair short and has it styled in a slicked back side part gelled to the right, alternating in the colors between light purple and black. He has the Bonten insignia tattooed on the front of his neck and wears a purple form-fitting suit alongside a pair of small hoop earrings and rings on his right fingers.

Personality
Ran is naturally whimsical toward others which makes him inscrutable; he is also independent in his own right and only holds regard for his younger brother who he used to govern the district of Roppongi with,[4] other than Izana Kurokawa and Kakucho who he once served under in Tenjiku.[5] This shows the limitations of Ran’s obedience and respect, for he and his brother as a collective duo were widely known for their supreme authority in Roppongi for the majority of their childhood, hence his nescience in shouldering orders from a superior and complying to them.
Ran's limited circle of whom he trusts and holds respect for is also the cause of his apathy toward others when he involves himself in battle. He is indifferent to using underhanded strategies in taking out his opponents and has little care for the degree of the injuries he inflicts.[6] ADVERTISEMENT Skills and Abilities

Ran holds a high position in many gangs and once went as far as assuming the second highest position in Rokuhara Tandai.[7] He is often respected and feared by many for this reason.[8]
Fighting Prowess
Although shown to have fought with fists when he was younger, Ran frequently resorts to underhanded tactics in battle by way of his baton or any weapon that can cause injury and guarantee his win.[9][10] Ran has never been known to have fought fairly and justifies this furtive approach as a means of bagging victory against much stronger opponents

Draken is a muscular teenager who is exceptionally tall for his age. His head is shaven on the sides and back to expose his signature dragon tattoo on his left temple. His blonde hair is long on the top of his head and kept in a neat braid. He leaves a few strands of hair loose in the front.
He is confirmed to be quite lean and has chiseled abdominal muscles. Takemichi remarked that his body does not seem like that of a teenager. Draken has a scar on the left side of his abdomen after being stabbed. He wears the standard Toman Toppoku while with the gang, and his favorite casual outfit seems to be a patterned long jacket.
Personality
Like the president, vice-president Draken is also quite the wild individual. He loves a good fight and relishes meeting strong opponents. He is rude to those he considers beneath him and makes it clear he does not like them.
Unlike Mikey, Draken is the more mature and logical of the two. When the two are being scolded in the hospital by the father of a girl who was assaulted by Moebius, Draken is the one who forces Mikey down to apologize, understanding the man's rage and that it was better to receive his anger without a word than to try and defend themselves. When Pah-chin decides to take the fall and responsibility for Toman by deliberately getting arrested, Mikey tries to get Pah-chin to run. However, Draken stops him, saying that it is the right thing for Pah-chin to do. There are times when Draken's anger gets the best of him, though, and he lashes out in rage.
Draken is also a very caring individual. He hates overtly showing affection to the ones he cares about but will go to great lengths to take care of Mikey. He puts up with Mikey's antics and values him as a close friend, carries Mikey around when he falls asleep, takes him to eat his favorite foods, and wakes him up every morning for school. In addition, he gave Emma a plushie for her birthday, and Emma notes that it was one that she had been wanting for a while. ADVERTISEMENT
Skills
Authority
As Toman's vice president, Draken's authority over the gang comes second only to Mikey in theory. In reality, his authority is more or less equal to that of Mikey's. Thus, he can freely command its members as well as increase their morale.
Fighting Prowess
Draken defeats the Black Dragons (anime) Draken defeating the Black Dragons As Toman's vice-president, Draken's fighting prowess is incredibly fearsome. When he is hit in the head by a metal pole, he is still able to stand and defeat 20 opponents. His recovery is remarkably quick as he quickly heads right back into battle when reinforcements shortly arrive. He even survives a life-threatening knife wound.
With his immense strength, Draken prefers to fight like a brawler, using simple yet powerful and vicious kicks and punches. He has knocked back a formidable opponent taller than he is several feet back with a haymaker after defeating tens of enemies beforehand. He was also able to send flying the much taller and larger South Terano as well.
His power is so immense that he was able to hold his own against and defeat a whole gang by himself and was still in fairly good shape after that. Although one could surmise that his strength is comparable to Mikey's it is proven this is not the case when a combined force of Draken himself, along with Peh-yan, Chifuyu and Mitsuya were unable to defeat Mikey.
Mechanical Knowledge
Draken is well-versed in machines, especially motorbikes. He is skilled enough to fix and assemble parts of a bike with ease. He also tends to do miscellaneous chores in the brothel he lives such as fixing lightbulbs.

Akane Inui (乾 赤音, Inui Akane?) was the older sister of Seishu Inui.[3]
Appearance
Akane was a pretty girl of average height with shoulder-length peach-blonde hair and big gentle green eyes that were framed by prominent, light lashes. Her features were drastically similar to her younger brother's Seishu Inui, which Hajime Kokonoi found attractive.
She often wore her school uniform that consisted of a checkered skirt, a clean button-down underneath a light sweater vest, and a pair of dark calf-length socks in school shoes. She also wore a matching bow tie with a striped pattern as part of her uniform.
On weekdays after school, Akane carried a school bag with her. Personality
Akane was a generally kind, loving and mild-mannered girl who cares a lot about her younger brother Seishu Inui and childhood friend Hajime Kokonoi, the two people that she often spent time with.
As Inupi's older sister, she encouraged her brother to act like Koko who she commended as remarkably kind, but Inupi would usually defy her wishes.[5] She has also been depicted to be upfront about her feelings. As such, she was straightforward about her rejection of Koko’s attempt at kissing her, wisely telling him that he should only do such things to the person he truly liked,[6] but at one point came off as indecisive as she took into consideration his romantic feelings for her despite pointing out the five-year age gap between them and recently rejecting his kiss.[7] ADVERTISEMENT
Background
Akane was the firstborn of the Inui family, merely five years older than her younger brother Seishu Inui.[8] As siblings, they shared a bountiful of characteristics appearance-wise and a delightful friendship with Hajime Kokonoi who secretly had a crush on her. History
Tenjiku Arc
One evening in the library she frequented, Hajime Kokonoi attempted to kiss Akane while asleep, but she humbly refused him and lectured that he must only kiss the person he liked, to which Koko replied with an unexpected confession. Akane doubted his feelings and stated their unordinary age gap, but Koko reassured her of the authenticity of his emotions and sincerely confessed a second time as he dropped her off at the Inui residence.
Koko promised he would protect her before sending her off inside her home, but not long after, her household was set aflame as neighboring citizens watched the fire swell. He went through the fire to save her, but was soon devastated to find out that he had rescued Seishu Inui instead, leaving Akane alone in the midst of the fire. The accident led her to face multiple third-degree burns throughout her body that posed a major threat to her chances of survival and could only be cured by a treatment amounting to a total sum of ¥40,000,000 (forty million yen).
To Koko’s dismay, her parents could not afford the treatment costs due to an expensive house loan under their names. As such, he formed an underground syndicate of thieves his age to earn money by covering for the crimes of their wealthy clients. After some time running the business, Akane passed away.
Kanto Manji Arc
When Seishu Inui is struggling against Wakasa Imaushi and Keizo Arashi, he shouts at Hajime Kokonoi to help him as they are true friends. Koko briefly reflects back to when he intervened to help Inupi when they were younger. He then envisions Akane, thanking him and telling him that he should live a life that he desires. This causes Koko to finally realize his stubbornness and punches Benkei before he hits Inupi.[9]

Relationships
Seishu Inui
She was his older sister by five years where not much is shown about their relationship, but it seems like Seishu has been mildly annoyed by her teasing on how he should act more like Hajime Kokonoi. This could just be normal sibling behavior. It is later shown that he is tearing up when telling Koko about her passing.
Hajime Kokonoi
As a young child, Koko had a crush on Akane and he wanted to marry her when they grew up and promised to always protect her. He notes that she looks remarkably similar to her brother Seishu Inui and is pretty. He attempts to kiss her as she was napping. Akane rejected him stating that she is five years older than him and that he should only kiss someone he likes. Despite this, Akane accepts his love after he confesses, stating that she will wait until they grow up.

Due to his financial capabilities, Koko is also sought-after by reputable gangs to use him to their own advantage.[13] For this reason, he was regarded as a pawn and his obsession toward money intensified.[14][15]

After the Inui family's house fire, Koko researched multiple forms of making money by reading books where he learned profitable methods that a minor like him could execute.[19][20] As a result, he was capable of initiating criminal schemes specific to theft for wealthy clients, then would cyclically invest money in growing his syndicate to perform schemes on a larger scale. This methodology would in turn create greater profits for himself.[21]
His monetary ability is recognized as a well-sought asset among organizations, therefore making him a major figure in multiple present timelines in which he serves as a top executive in the more well-structured and dangerous gang organizations.[22] Usually in charge of the finances, Koko is known as a central piece for an organization's success.

L Personality
ADVERTISEMENT Skills and Abilities

Haruki Hayashida (林はやし田だ 春はる樹き, Hayashida Haruki?), or Pah-chin (パーちん, Pa-chin?), is a founding member of the Tokyo Manji Gang. He was its Third Division Captain (参番隊 隊長, Sanban-tai Taichō?) until he served time in a detention center after his involvement in a battle with Nobutaka Osanai. Two years later, he is freed from his sentence and reassumes his former position in Toman.
Appearance
Pah-chin is of short and stocky build. He has slanted eyes and bleached hair parted to the right side with the sides of his head cleanly shaven. He bears a small stitch on the leftmost side of his lower lip and a small scar under his left eye. He is most often seen wearing the traditional Toman uniform. As a high schooler, he lets his hair return to its original black color and dresses in formal clothing, befitting his career in real estate.
Personality
Pah-chin first appears as a brusque and rude individual, reacting aggressively to minimal things or otherwise harmless statements. He is by his own account not very smart, something even Ryohei Hayashi agreed with. Pah-chin is seemingly proud and boastful of this fact and sometimes even uses it as an excuse for his actions, which is something that annoyed other Toman leaders at times when more thought and tactics were useful other than sheer brute force.
Pah-chin is above all a very loyal friend who always supports and stands up for his friends and loved ones. When one of Pah-chin's friends and his girlfriend were brutally assaulted by Moebius, Pah-chin was furious and wanted revenge. Luckily, his defensive instincts kicked in and he managed to hold back, mainly because he was fearful of dragging Toman into a fight where they'd be facing an older and more established gang. His initial displays of aggression are merely an outlet for his frustration over the incident.
When revenge was authorized by Mikey, Pah-chin was invigorated and hoped to strike at the earliest possible opportunity. He did not take Takemichi's suggestion to not attack, well. Fearing that Moebius' provocation could be part of a larger scheme and even beat him down for providing ambiguous logic. If it means to fight for his friends, there is no limit Pah-chin is unwilling to cross, facing Osanai in a duel that was obviously to his disadvantage, and later stabbing him to finally make him pay for his crimes. Subsequently, he stayed behind and let himself be arrested to allow the rest of his gang-mates to escape the police.
After being released from detention, Pah-chin seems a new man with a different outlook on life. Although he maintains most of his personality quirks, he seems much more focused and orderly, now being capable of running a real estate business with great precision and surprising know-how. Fighting Prowess
Pah was considered one of the strongest fighters in Toman, so much so that Peh-yan had absolute trust in his abilities. Unfortunately, the full extent of his fighting power has not been demonstrated as he was defeated with relative ease by Osanai, who had expertise in boxing. Nonetheless, Pah-chin proved himself durable enough to take a severe beating and still remain conscious. During The Final Battle, he himself defeated many opponents, alongside just Peh-yan assists him.
Business
Following his release from detention, Pah-chin managed a real estate business. Despite his previous assertions of being stupid, Pah-chin demonstrated precise know-how of his industry and acute care of the minimum details to deliver the best product possible to his customers. In the present time, his business would grow into a commercial success.

Kakucho decided to form so from that day, as servant and king, they had mutually harsh experiences while growing up at an orphanage.
Before the fight between the Tokyo Manji Gang and Tenjiku, Kakucho had claimed objection to the coming conflict but his king didn't hear the warning. He determined that the only thing he could do was follow his king and donate upon his life if necessary. Karen Kurokawa (黒川 カレン, Kurokawa Karen?) is the adoptive mother of Izana Kurokawa and in addition, the biological mother of Emma Sano.
Appearance
Karen bears a striking resemblance to her one and only blood-related daughter Emma Sano with long, presumably honey-blond locks that reaches down to her chest and her golden-yellow eyes look droopy and lack life while they are framed by slightly long eyelashes.
On the day when she abandoned Emma, Karen is shown to be wearing a dark party dress and a pair of heeled sandals. She is also shown to be holding a purse and wears makeup. This shows how she must be so jovial after the responsibility for raising Emma is taken from her hands.
When Izana Kurokawa searched and confronted her inside of a casino building, Karen is shown to be playing pachinko, lacking makeup, and wears a plain black shirt. She is also shown having a nonchalant expression on her face and she is shown smoking a cigarette. Personality
Karen is a distant, neglectful and self-centered woman who is not a good mother, even to her own biological daughter Emma Sano. She chose to give Izana Kurokawa up for adoption and sent him to an orphanage just because he isn't blood-related to her, and instead was the product of her ex-husband's affair. She can put on a deceptive caring facade as shown when she told Izana that he's going to a "school", which really meant she's leaving him for adoption. When Izana is then about to leave with the orphanage workers and is bidding goodbye to Emma, Karen watches on from the balcony with no emotion, smoking a cigarette.
This treatment also extends to her own young daughter, Emma. She didn't hesitate to leave her at the hands of Mansaku Sano when the chance presented itself. It is also implied that she is neglectful of the siblings when they are still at her hands, showing how unfit she is to be a parent, when clearly, she doesn't seem cut out for that responsibility.
When confronted by Izana at a casino, Karen is blunt, harsh and cruel with her words, not hesitating to use crude words such as "b*tch" when describing Izana's biological mother. She doesn't sugarcoat either, saying that Izana is not her son without any remorse. This impacted Izana's mental health greatly, which is the cause of his meltdown when meeting Shinichiro Sano later that day.
Plot
Relationships
Emma Sano
Karen never held any love towards her biological daughter Emma as shown when she never hesitated to abandon the young girl at the hands of her grandfather. She never even visited her once and is subsequently not present at her own daughter's funeral, showing how she never loved any of her kids, be it blood-related or not.
Izana Kurokawa
If her treatment is bad to Emma Sano, then what she did to Izana is worse. Having been saddled with the task to raise a product of her ex-husband's affair, Karen may have definitely held resentment towards him, and with the aforementioned ex-husband deceased, this resentment also applied to Izana, who is never aware of the circumstances of his birth at the moment. Karen never thought twice about giving him up for adoption, and when confronted years later for answers, coldly told the then pre-teen youth the truth, along with the words, "You're not my son", which clearly indicated her lack of love towards him, which may also apply at Emma. She never attended Izana's funeral as well.

Appearance
Kazushi has mid-length chestnut hair with the bangs tied back and grape colored eyes. He wore orange colored square shaped glasses and the standard middle school uniform. During high school, Kazushi changes his hairstyle, where it goes straight down while still tied back.
In an alternate timeline, his hair is longer and slicked back similar to Makoto Suzuki's during middle school. He wore a pair of round silver glasses and two earrings on his left ear. a goatee, and a scar on his left eyebrow. In the latest time leap, Yamagishi has short hair.
Personality
In Takemichi's own words, Kazushi is described as a dumb-ass who wears glasses because he believes it would make him smart. However, he is actually surprisingly adept at learning topics that interest him, such as gangs. His knowledge is reliable and has helped his friends out countless times. He is quite excitable about the topics too, interacting and meeting each member he has extensive knowledge about both scares him and excites him. He stands by his friends sides and loyal to them, helping them out in his own way. Skills
Authority
As the captain of the Tokyo Manji Gang's First Division Strike Squad, Kazushi wields authority over that squad's members and subordinates.
Fighting Prowess
Yamagishi has reasonable fighting capacity, he is not very strong but he is not very weak either. He fought and defeated some members of Tenjiku and even in the final battle he faced Shion Madarame. However, he was not defeated but he also did not defeat Shion.
Information
Despite his supposed lack of intelligence, Kazushi is very adept at information gathering and handling, showing nearly universal knowledge of the delinquent world, to the point he is called the "Walking Delinquent Encyclopedia."
He is deeply informed about events both present and past, aware of multiple gangs, their relationships and power dynamics, and is also knowledgeable about their internal structures, to the point he could describe nearly the entire formation of gangs as enigmatic as Valhalla, being able to discern the composition of most of their membership and even obscure figures like Kazutora. He could also narrate with acute precision the causality of events that led to the Tokyo Sengoku Period and the subsequent outcome from them along the current stalemate between the Three Deities and even who the mysterious figures were, despite having no known direct involvement whatsoever with any of these occurences.
Kazushi also seems to be very well connected, as he was able to get information regarding Kiyomasa's attempt at Draken's life, despite the fact that Peh-yan's own attempt at him was the more public knowledge even for Toman's captains. Information, which by virtue of circumstances was highly unlikely to be acquired easily due to the secrecy of the scheme.

Kazutora Hanemiya (羽宮はねみや一虎かずとら, Hanemiya Kazutora?) is a founding member of the Tokyo Manji Gang. At a certain point, after the two years sentence in a juvenile detention center for the accidental murder of Shinichiro Sano, he joined Valhalla as its Number 3 and the leader of the Anti-Toman force. With the conclusion of Bloody Halloween, Kazutora was sentenced to ten years in a detention center as retribution for his felonies.
Appearance
Kazutora is of average height and has a lean frame. His natural black hair is styled in a messy wolf cut with yellow streaks throughout. He has a beauty mark under the right side of his sandy-colored eyes and a tiger tattoo extending from his neck to his shoulder and chest. Kazutora also wears a drop earring with a bell ornament at its tip. He is commonly seen wearing Valhalla's standard uniform. On days when he is not on gang duty, he wears the Mizo Middle School uniform.
As an adult, Kazutora has significantly longer hair reaching his shoulders. His locks are predominantly black with cascading pieces dyed yellow; he often puts it up in a ponytail.
Personality
Kazutora is a very broken soul; as a child, he was forced to pick between his mom and dad in a case of domestic violence.[4] As a result of his fundamentally non-existent family life, he scorned upon other happy families. Something as simple as seeing children having tender moments with their parents, triggered a sore spot within Kazutora and irritated him deeply.
It is likely that his deep attachment to Tokyo Manji Gang, was in fact rooted in solace from his solitude, and he was in fact very loyal to Tokyo Manji Gang and Mikey, striving to make him happy at all costs, even resorting to unhealthy and downright criminal methods such as theft. Such impulses would ultimately end up for the worst as his theft attempt would end up in tragedy, with his already fragile mind collapsing in a matter of minutes. As a coping mechanism, he irrationally shifted the blame of Shinichiro Sano's death onto Mikey.[5] Kazutora is mentally strained, and as a 15-year old, was on the edge of losing his sanity after spending years locked up. What little sanity he had left was kept in check by Keisuke Baji, who played along with his delusion that everything wrong in his life was because of Mikey.
Kazutora is shown to be fairly unstable, sadistic, and incredibly violent. While he came up as tranquil and polite when presenting himself to Takemichi Hanagaki's group, he soon after introduced them to his "most trusted men", both of which received broken legs from Kazutora, forcing them to use crutches to walk. He wore a smile on his face at what he had done, as if it was normal. When the Bloody Halloween was about to begin, he was so irritated at Draken's demand that he took it out on Hansen, the fight's referee, all while proclaiming that Valhalla was going to beat Tokyo Manji Gang to death, showing visible glee at the bloodbath that would soon ensue.
Kazutora is so deranged and detached from reality, that he believed that while killing people makes one a bad person, killing enemies made one a hero, showcasing the extreme and warped logic developed by him as a means to justify killing Mikey for all that Kazutora misguidedly blamed him for.
After his second stay in prison, he got the help he needed and integrated back into life. He remains quiet, his emotional strain still apparent at times, but appears to be more well managed.
As an adult, Kazutora has recovered fully as he can speak normally with others as well as react to events emotionally. He also shows regret for his past actions and is at heart incredibly loyal to both Tokyo Manji Gang and Mikey, so much so that in an alternate timeline, he was distraught when Tokyo Manji Gang was corrupted by Black Dragon money and fought fiercely to dismantle them.
In the current timeline, he is on more openly friendly terms with Takemichi and was the first to approach and support him on his quest to find Mikey. He was also concerned over Takemichi's well-being, noting he would be marrying soon, showing Kazutora is not blindly loyal to Mikey but is capable of caring for others adequately.
After Takemichi and Mikey successfully averts tragedies in the past, Kazutora becomes much more friendlier and even plays jokes with Baji and Chifuyu Matsuno. ADVERTISEMENT

Kazutora is a competent fighter, he was capable of easily knocking Hansen, the overseer of the Bloody Halloween and who was a notorious delinquent in a mere two punches (one to his face, and one to his gut), leaving him on the floor flinching from pain, and with everyone in utter awe at what he had done. In combat, Kazutora is unrestrained and incredibly violent.
Larceny
Kazutora is skilled at theft. When attempting to steal a bike, he carefully placed adhesive tape on a door's glass to mitigate the sound, allowing him to enter without drawing attention.

AFFILIATION Tokyo Manji Gang POSITION First Division Captain First Division Captain (壱番隊 隊長, Ichiban-tai Taichō?) FORMER POSITION(S) Valhalla Member
Keisuke Baji (場地バジ圭介けいすけ, Baji Keisuke?) is a former member of Valhalla. He is also a founding member and the former First Division Captain (壱番隊 隊長, Ichiban-tai Taichō?) of the Tokyo Manji Gang. He is one of two protagonists of the Tokyo Revengers: Letter from Keisuke Baji spin-off series.
Appearance
Baji is a tall teenager with long, slightly wavy, shoulder-length jet-black hair. He usually keeps it untied, only tying it during a fight. His prominent features are his two sharp canine teeth, which gives him a savage demeanor when he grins. He wears the standard Toman Toppuku while with the gang. As a member of Valhalla, he wears a white bomber jacket with a Valhalla logo on the back.
As a child, his hair was shorter and more tousled. He wore a horizontally striped t-shirt.
Personality
Baji has a wild personality. He loves the thrill of adrenaline and Mikey himself says that he would punch someone out on the street for no apparent reason, only because he feels like it. In combat, he is never without his trademark grin.
Baji is fiercely loyal to Toman. He is willing to cast himself as the villain in his friends' and comrades' eyes in order to protect them. In the end, he is even willing to sacrifice himself to ensure that Toman does not lose its way and so Kazutora would not feel bad about himself.
He is also a very perceptive individual, seeing through who the true villains who threaten Toman are. He is the only one, aside from Takemichi, who does so, revealing his sharp intellect.
Baji's acting skills are remarkable. He is able to fool both friend and foe into thinking he truly defects to Valhalla. Even the most perceptive ones who suspect him at first get tricked into thinking he truly cut ties with Toman.
Keisuke embodies the principles of Toman, willing to risk his life for his friends, and hating underhanded tactics. ADVERTISEMENT
Skills and Abilities
Authority
Being the captain of Toman's first division, Baji has authority and command over his entire platoon, and directly over Chifuyu Matsuno, his vice-captain. It is not clear what his authority was under Valhalla if any, although possibly higher than average due to his strength and loyalty test.
Fighting Prowess
Baji is one of Toman's strongest fighters who is able to hold his own against several strong opponents by himself. His endurance is nothing to laugh at either, as he is able to fight his way past 50 enemies with a deep stab wound in his back and only having an iron bar by his side, only collapsing as he began suffering from anemia.
Baji has incredible physical strength, in his past, Baji was able to defeat Mandala's leader with a single punch to his face so strong that the wall he was slammed into was cracked.

Kiyomasa's anime appearance in 2005 Kiyomasa's anime appearance in 2005 ADVERTISEMENT
Personality
Kiyomasa is a merciless and cruel individual, who brutalizes those he considers below him. He is not hesitant at all to assert his dominance upon the weak and use them to fulfill his thirst for violence and means.
When challenged or when otherwise annoyed, Kiyomasa can become incredibly more brutal at times often resorting to use a bat to beat the target of his scorn to an inch of their lives. This can be seen when Takemichi Hanagaki asked to see Manjiro Sano, Kiyomasa does not want to hear that name coming from his underlings for some reason. Incredibly arrogant to a fault, when Mikey and Draken appeared during his fight in his own fighting ring, he never bowed down to either of them, despite knowing in full who they were, and had to be forced to bow by Draken. The severe beating and reprimanding that ensued for making a clandestine fighting ring imply that he acted without consent from his superiors, therefore attributing himself an authority that he never had in the first place.
He is also shown with a vengeful streak, as seen when he gets manipulated into attempting to stab Draken to death out of spite for humiliating him earlier. ADVERTISEMENT Skills and Abilities
Fighting Prowess
Kiyomasa is a skilled fighter as in his fights he proved to be a very formidable opponent, when facing Takemichi he applied strong blows such as punches and kicks. In addition to the fact that he was one of the strongest in the fight club in which he hosted.
