1a on holiday

After months of training, exams, hero work and Aizawa's increasingly ridiculous assignments, Class 1-A had finally been given something they hadn't expected.

A holiday.

Aizawa stood at the front of the bus with his usual exhausted expression.

**Aizawa:** “You're going to be staying at a private beach resort for five days.”

The entire bus erupted.

**Mina:** “FIVE DAYS?!”

**Kaminari:** “NO SCHOOL?!”

**Kirishima:** “THIS IS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!”

**Iida:** “Everyone needs to remember that this is still an educational trip!”

**Sero:** “Iida, we're going to a beach.”

**Iida:** “There can still be educational value!”

Bakugo groaned from the back of the bus.

**Bakugo:** “Can everyone shut up?”

**Mina:** “Someone's excited.”

**Bakugo:** “I'm going to throw you out of the bus.”

Todoroki looked out the window.

**Todoroki:** “I've never been to a beach resort with friends before.”

Midoriya immediately smiled.

**Midoriya:** “Really? We should all do something together when we arrive!”

**Jiro:** “As long as Kaminari doesn't choose the music.”

**Kaminari:** “My music taste is amazing!”

**Jiro:** “Your music taste is a crime.”

Laughter filled the bus.

Several hours later, the bus finally pulled up outside the resort.

Everyone practically launched themselves out.

The place was enormous.

A huge pool stretched across the centre of the resort, surrounded by palm trees and lounge chairs. Beyond it was a private beach, with the ocean stretching endlessly into the distance.

**Uraraka:** “This place is gorgeous!”

**Mina:** “WE'RE NEVER LEAVING.”

**Kirishima:** “Look at that beach!”

**Sero:** “Look at that pool!”

**Kaminari:** “Look at those volleyball nets!”

Aizawa stepped off the bus.

**Aizawa:** “Listen carefully.”

Everyone slowly turned toward him.

**Aizawa:** “You're here to relax. But you're still heroes-in-training.”

He pointed toward the resort.

**Aizawa:** “No fighting.”

He pointed toward Bakugo.

**Aizawa:** “No explosions.”

Then he looked at Kaminari.

**Aizawa:** “No electricity near the pool.”

**Kaminari:** “Why are you looking directly at me?”

**Aizawa:** “Because I know you.”

Mina grabbed Uraraka's arm.

**Mina:** “We're going shopping.”

**Uraraka:** “Already?!”

**Mina:** “We have five days. We need a schedule.”

Kirishima and Sero immediately challenged each other to a beach volleyball match.

Kaminari joined them.

Todoroki stood staring at the ocean.

**Todoroki:** “The water is bigger than I expected.”

Jiro looked at him.

**Jiro:** “...It's the ocean.”

**Todoroki:** “I know.”

Meanwhile, Bakugo had already picked up one of the room keys.

**Bakugo:** “Which room am I in?”

Aizawa handed him a card.

Bakugo looked at it.

His expression immediately darkened.

**Bakugo:** “Absolutely not.”

Everyone turned.

**Mina:** “What?”

Bakugo held up the card.

**Bakugo:** “I'm sharing a room.”

**Kaminari:** “WITH WHO?”

Bakugo looked at the list.

**Bakugo:** “Apparently, we're not allowed to choose.”

Aizawa sighed.

**Aizawa:** “Correct.”

The class immediately crowded around him.

**Sero:** “Oh, this is going to be interesting.”

**Mina:** “Wait until we see everyone's room assignments.”

**Kaminari:** “This holiday just got ten times better.”

Aizawa rubbed his temples.

He had been hoping for five peaceful days.

Judging by the expressions on his students' faces...

that wasn't happening.
