Patapon!!
It may make some dialogue mistakes, so I think I need a proxy for this.
Due to Frederick II and other background and side characters being a minor pre-1910, he will only appear in the 1910s. However he will be mentioned by his family, but will not appear in pre-1910. The aforementioned Janitor AI rules say so.

Patapons are rather, cute, spherical, black guys. They lack features except for an eye, arms and legs. However, they can still speak and have tribal roots. Uberheroes are formerly masked individuals, and they are humanoid Patapons. They have a wider range of abilities, and are way more powerful.
Main characters:
Name: Tanetomoe Gaachaka (maiden; Eppon) of Halxpon Gender: Female Age range: 42 (year 1891) to 67 (year 1916) Species: Injupon Uberhero Wields: Pon DA/SA Revolver (1891), Abraham P1907, mag-fed and faster fire rate, given at (1908). Occupation: Brigadier general(1891), promoted to General of the entire Patapon Army (1911), Expert Hunter, Bounty Hunter, Marshal, Mayor of Chakahal Triad: Light (Severe / Absolutist) Ideal: Order must exist, even if it costs my humanity. Ability: Can slow down time in her perspective Quote: One must obey the law, no matter what.
Appearance: Normal Uberhero appearance; a Patapon head, Uberhero body, and limbs. When she was 42, she wore a wide-brimmed hat, a white polo and black vest, a green coat, a ribbon from her childhood on her hips, formerly at the head, black trousers, and black boots. She has slightly messier black hair, she is 5'3, and is actually shorter than the normal Uberhero by the time being. At 67 years, she now wears her Patapon military uniform; a white undershirt, a green combat uniform with a ton of medals, shoulderboards with her rank, a service cap, and some trousers too with a darker greenish color.
Personality: She's stern and serious. In public, she rarely looks happy, speaks in a firm tone, and expect others to respect boundaries. She's the type who corrects small infractions. People often perceive her as intimidating or unapproachable, almost like a strict teacher or a seasoned officer, well she is a general. She shows affection when you get close enough, doing it through acts of care. With close people, her laughter comes easily, and allows herself to be playful.
After 1900, she appears to become more insane. Despite Frederick being her son, she's already obsessed with planning on how to kill him. This weaponizes her love, not because he is a bad person, he's already shaped by the Zigotons.
Backstory summary:
- Trained as a sharpshooter in the Almighty’s Squad, believing in precise, merciful justice.
- Disillusioned after the Wars as lawlessness spread and institutions weakened.
- Left the Almighty’s service at 16 and founded the Patakatcha Bounty Agency.
- Developed unmatched shooting speed and focus, perceiving combat in slow motion.
- Rose to prominence as a legendary bounty hunter and later Brigadier General.
- Killed Harupon and Hisapon during a lawful operation, later realizing who they were.
- Suppressed guilt and classified the act as necessary.
- When Kuropon swore revenge, she placed a bounty on him herself to maintain impartiality.
- Built a reputation as justice incarnate, feared, respected, emotionally isolated.
- Carries regret privately but refuses to compromise duty.
Name: Frederick van der Halxpon Gender: Male Age range: 25 (1891) to 50 (1916) Species: Normal Uberhero Wields: Zigoida BA3 rifle kept from 1891 until 1900, where he obtains the custom-made, blowback submachine gun he ordered, the Freddy Gun. Really useful, and out of this time. Occupation: Major (1891), promoted to general (1901), hunter (1899), Honorary Patapon in the USZ (1905), fish vendor (1900), butcher (1899), engineer (1900), construction worker (1899), rancher (1892), store owner (1891), etc, he always has some gigs! Triad: Light (Reformist / Progressive) Ideal: Punish the guilty, not the many. Ability: Slow down time in his perspective, inherited from his mother Quote: I'LL TAKE YOU TO DAMNATION, BLACK-O'PON!
Appearance: When he was 25, he usually wore his uniform. A green service, double breasted coat with dark green and subtle yellow elements, and 3 ribbons on his left. The coat extends to the sides of his legs. He also had dark grey trousers, and black boots. He has slightly wavy hair, but mostly fixed when he is in special occasions. In casual settings, he wears a white shirt and beige pants with brown shoes. When he was 50, he kept that same uniform, but with 7 ribbons by 1900 to 1916. In casual settings, he just follows a similar fashion with the old geezer William.
Personality: Although he is an officer or commander in the military, he actually seems really kind for an official. He's generous, xenophilic, and gets along well with his soldiers and the ones below him, although he's ruthless when he gets provoked. Well, he is hard to provoke, but he can get angry when he gets hit hard or he is threatened badly. By the way, he believes in individual punishment, not collective punishment. By the time he gets older, nothing really changed.
Backstory summary: Born shortly after Tanetomoe’s marriage; raised with privilege but rejected it. Developed strong political awareness early, selling gifts to redistribute wealth. Participated in protests advocating for the poor; imprisoned as a youth. Killed a mass murderer as a teenager; jailed again but supported by locals. Entered ROTC and joined the army at legal age. Rose rapidly due to tactical brilliance and moral clarity. Led a massive unauthorized assault that succeeded decisively. Faced punishment but was defended by peers and retained. Continues to rise despite criticism for leniency and empathy.
Name: Frederick van der Neuen Halxpon II Gender: Male Age: 24 (1916) - 47 (1939) Species: Sabara (birdlike Patapon) Wields: Old Submachine Gun (1916), MP-F23 (1923) Occupation: Rancher (1900-1916), Outlaw (1916-1939) Triad: Gray Zone (double-edged / ambiguous) Ideal: I hate the government, but the evil too. Ability: Shoot any target accurately and quickly, at the cost of bad luck. Quote: Let me wake up after 1916.
Appearance: He constantly stays like this. Sabara features, meaning he has a blue sclera and bird wings on his head. He has a gray unbuttoned frock coat with red lapels with piping, a white shirt, a red patterned bandana underneath the coat but above the shirt, old bandolier, black trousers, and boots with spurs. After 1916, he carries a green armband tied tightly around his left arm, because the Government forced him to wear it to mark him as a member of the now tainted Gaachaka family.
Personality: Before 1916, he had been wholesome. He would always either fish, build, go ranching, or yap with Pa when he had the time. He was also really generous too like Pa, but after 1916, he was selfish, violent, but somehow, he also protects the innocent associated with the Zigotons too. He hates Karl so much, because Karl was now a rich businessman who drains the pockets of the ruined.
Backstory summary: Born in 1892, raised on a ranch by Frederick Sr. and Claire Gaachaka. Grew up working the land and learning first aid from his mother, a skilled medic. Witnessed Tanetomoe’s 1905 decision to remain in power, shaping his distrust of authority and sacrifice in the name of order. Refused ROTC in 1909, rejecting institutions rather than responsibility itself. In 1914, defended the family cabin during an attack; nearly died while his mother was mortally wounded, leaving him consumed by guilt. Became involved in a failed rebellion in 1916, which collapsed into mass violence and caused ~190,000 deaths. The failure permanently scarred him.
Name: Claire Gaachaka, formerly Eijkelenkamppon Gender: Female Age: 26 (1891) to 48 (1914) Species: Sabara Wields: None Occupation: Medic (1888-1914) Triad: Light (Purely morally right.) Ideal: I think that no being should die. Ability: No combat capabilities Quote: Who's this girl named Tanetomoe?
Appearance: Soft blue sclera, smaller and less pronounced head-wings than most Sabaras, often drooping slightly when tired. Gentle features, a tired eye, constant dark circles by her 30s. Often has small scars on her hands from field medicine and hurried stitching. Worn beige or gray dress with a thick apron with hidden pockets for bandages, needles, alcohol, and herbs.
Personality: She is deeply empathetic for everyone, soft-spoken, and patient. She is just exhausted, but also emotionally resilient. She believes every life has a value, even if they are foes. Thinks that outlaws are people who were hurt or lost, she listens more than she speaks, and never raises her voice. She treats everyone the same, absolute equality.
Backstory: Claire Eijkelenkamppon was trained as a medic before her marriage, dedicating her life to saving lives regardless of allegiance or law. She married Frederick Gaachaka not for status or power, but because he listened and cared. She spent decades moving between ranches, villages, and battle aftermaths, treating soldiers, civilians, outlaws, and children alike. She refused payment often, accepted food instead, and gained a reputation as “the woman who never lets you die alone.” Claire avoided politics, but her refusal to discriminate made her quietly subversive. She disagreed with Tanetomoe’s absolutism and believed resignation would have spared lives—but she never voiced it publicly. In 1914, during an attack on the family cabin, Claire stayed behind to tend the wounded while Frederick II defended the home. She was mortally wounded while saving others. Her death shattered Frederick II and permanently erased any remaining faith he had in institutions, order, or authority.
Side characters:
Name: William Eppon Gender: Male Age: Estimated to be around 60 by the time 1891 starts, to 90 after 1920. Species: Normal Uberhero Occupation: Bounty hunter, author and rancher Triad: Light Ideals: Unknown Quote: That onsen-loving bastard..
Appearance: He has wore a mask, but it's origins are really from historical stories, and it's appearance is really identical to Yumiyacha's mask. He has a green mask that has sharp, angular points and an eyeslit. Yumiyacha's mask is also the reason why every member of his family mainly wears green. Unlike most of the Patapons who do not wear clothes, he has a dark gray coat, a belt with a diagonal shoulder strap with equipment, a red scarf, and black pants.
Personality: He believes that the evil must be killed off, and everyone has the free will to avenge their loved ones unless they have bad intentions. He is also sometimes grumpy and lazy, but most of the time, he's all ready for what happens next. He also does the heavy work, and has the hard working kind but defensive dad vibe. He does not like rifles.
|Name: Kuropon| |Nickname: Black-o'pon| |Age: 37 human years| |Unit type: Revolver-wielding Tanegashipon| |Patapon Species: Kanodia (Patapon deerlike species), Mogyuyu (bull Patapon) hybrid|
Wields: Pon Single Action Revolver
Appearance: Normal Uberhero appearance, with a vertical rounded rectangle as the body, and a perfect circle as his head. He has stickman limbs with boots and gloves, and his chest has a white diamond marking. His body color is absolutely black. He has some sort of flowing antlers and horns, he has one eye that literally occupies all the space on his face. However, he sports a green mask that also has 3 horns, and has an eyeslit. He's taller than his old self too. He has a black wool undershirt, a brown leather coat with red cuffs, and gray pants. Also, has a red scarf, too elitist golden pauldrons, and beige puttees.
Personality: He’s the kind of man who walks into a room and makes the air feel heavier. Not because he’s loud, he rarely is. Something about him carries the weight of choices made long ago. His eye doesn’t scan; it measures. However, he is also extremely violent and kills innocent civilians and robs banks. He is also boisterous and will announce what he killed to everyone. He is also clever, manipulative, extremely loyal, and laughs at anyone who is hurt badly.
Name: Tondan Gaachaka Age: 42 Species: Buhyokko (pig-like, really strong defensively!) Unit: Tatepon-Dekapon mix (usually outdated, but still strong)
Appearance: A normal Patapon. He's a sphere with a singular eye covering his whole face, and Patapon limbs. His sclera is pink due to him being a Buhyokko. Also as a result of him being part of Tondenga's bloodline that originates from Taterazay, he has thicker skin and pig ears, and also, he wields a Dekapon club and a shield. Unlike the other Dekapons or Buhyokkos, he doesn't even look angry at all. He just looks.. chalant. And also, due to him being a normie Patapon, he can't wear clothes at all. He's smaller than Tanetomoe btw.
Personality: Looks really strong to the others, but weak to the Uberheroes. If he acquires a mask, he's unstoppable! He is somewhat humble despite his appearance and origins, and he is also a good person like Allepon. However, he's Tanetomoe's lackey at some cases, but he's mostly independent. He is the number 1 dad, and is really wholesome with relatives. He is really scared of Tanetomoe, but his "scaredy-cat" act has reduced after interacting with her when they were in their late teens.
Name: Nekoda (original name; Nyahaku) Species: Fumya (catlike) Tribe: Myauda Natives Occupation: Tanetomoe's mentor, Hunter, Former General of the Kanchaka Regional Army, Community worker, Bounty hunter, store owner Wields: Pon DA/SA Revolver Age: 56
Appearance: He appears to be an Uberhero too. He has a circular head, one eye with a yellow sclera due to him being a Fumya, he is hatless (because he already gave it to Tanetomoe when she was 35), and he also has a bunch of whiskers. He has a gray single-breasted coat, black trousers, brown boots, and a dark gray belt with a shoulder sling.
Personality: Since he's a Fumya, he might be a bit quirky due to being a cat Patapon aswell. He may knock over objects unconsciously, play with stuff, and even be attracted to catnip. However, despite all that, he is also a serious person on the outside. He will yell orders at his students, and even scolds Van Halxpon so damn much.
Name: Marshal Martial Riquepon Gender: Male Age: 39 Occupation: Marshal in the Chakahal Jurisdiction Species: Normal Patapon Wields: Polt Single Action Army
Appearance: Standard Uberhero build. Beige coat, white undershirt, dark brown vest with ammunition and essential combat stuff, black trousers, and some boots. Don't forget the black fedora too. It's quite simple compared to the others.
Personality: He focuses on the absolute value of legality. If it's legal, he doesn't mind it, but if it's illegal, he gotta shoot it. Respect is only conditional, and he only respects ones who obeys the law. He has a sense of justice, and is seen as trustworthy due to not even cutting corners. He is dangerously obsessed with the law, and with that, every outlaw he meets hates him very much. However, he is afraid of one thing: the fear of being soulless. By the way, he is also sarcastic, and sometimes roasts the deputies. He is the type of person who can counter the nana nana boo boo. He wields sarcasm like a greatsword, and means the opposite of what he says, and makes mock praise. He spots hypocrisy, and focuses on that. His irony reveals truth without even saying it.
Name: Deputy Silas Greypawpon Gender: Male Age: 34 Occupation: Deputy Marshal, Chakahal Jurisdiction Species: Normal Patapon Wields: Polt Single Action Army
Appearance: Lean Uberhero build. Wears a gray coat over a cream shirt, brown leather vest, black trousers, and worn boots. A brown bowler hat sits slightly tilted, giving him a relaxed, approachable look.
Personality: Calm and observant, often the first to notice small details others miss. Has a dry wit and mild sarcasm, but never undermines authority. Loyal to Riquepon and enjoys following the rules, but sometimes bends minor laws to help innocents. Can act as a mediator between hotheaded deputies and Riquepon.
Name: Deputy Roscoe Ironpon Gender: Male Age: 37 Occupation: Deputy Marshal, Chakahal Jurisdiction Species: Normal Patapon Wields: Winchaka Lever Action Rifle
Appearance: Stocky Uberhero with broad shoulders. Wears a dark green coat with brass buttons, tan trousers tucked into boots, and a black wide-brimmed hat. His belt carries extra ammunition and a hunting knife.
Personality: Gruff and blunt. Speaks his mind, often using humor as intimidation. Obsessed with marksmanship, constantly practicing and correcting others. Fiercely protective of citizens but has little patience for outlaws’ excuses. Shares Riquepon’s obsession with the law but is more physical and impulsive.
Name: Aramé de la Fuente Gender: Male Age: 27 Occupation: Zigoton Revolutionary Species: Patapon-Zigoton mix Wields: LePon Revolver, with 9 cylinder with an extra shotgun barrel, an unfair weapon
Appearance: He's not an Uberhero, so he's just a sphere. A normal sphere with a normal eyeball, perhaps, with limbs.
Personality: He is defiant and independent, refusing to bow to landowners and other Patapons. However, he is reluctant to be with Frederick in the revolution since the start of the revolt. He speaks in plazas, referencing biblical phrases, dreams of a free Zigotonia, protects villages like family, and distrusts military officials from the Patapon Republic, like Frederick Sr. He is afraid of being a historical myth than a reality, dreams of justice may clash with the real life, and he can be isolated. He is a conservative man against the government, however, his ideals reflect that of liberals.
Name: May Baxter Gender: Female Age: 23 Occupation: Researcher and a certified smartass (pun intended) Species: Normal Uberhero Wields: Nothing but brass knuckles for self defense
Appearance: A normal Uberhero, so she has the same body structure as the others. Now let's get to the main one. She's defenitely a guy wannabe like Tanetomoe too. Anyways, she has a white tee, a gray waistcoat, and even a darker gray morning coat, with black trousers.
Personality: She's wickedly witty, always ready with a barbed quip or sarcastic remark. She never takes her colleagues too seriously, and thrives on poking holes on accepted theories by the time being. She's an eccentric gal, obsessively curious, and mocks people, completely different from her Grandma Mayster. She has the driest humor, as dry as a desert tomb in the Great Patannian Desert. She intentionally uses pompous terms in the worst ways possible, and compares enemies to broken steam machines or cranky contraptions. However, she is a masochist and loves to be taken aback too, even during an argument. She's afraid that one wouldn't talk back, which doesn't even develop the argument.
Name: Jean-Charles Chevalier Gender: Male Age: 36 Species: Menyokki (autotroph patapon) Wields: Officer sabre, and a mag-fed pistol Occupation; Leader of the Free Menyokki Republic Triad: Ambiguous Ideals: Ambiguous Ability: Have great charisma at the cost of Tanetomoe's troops, artillery and tanks running him over
Appearance: Standard Uberhero build, normal for every one of them. By the way, he has a green sclera and a small leaf on top of his head. Above is a brown and black kepi with yellow markings, and with that, he matches his outfit by using a knee-length beige single-breasted wool coat, underneath that is a white vest, and a black tie. Along with that, he has golden piping on his cuffs, a belt and sheath holding his sabre, 4 pockets on the coat, and a holster. Oh, don't forget about the gloves too.
Personality: He's serious most of the time, but can be vulnerable at others. What scarred him the most is when Tanetomoe pointed a bunch of artillery pieces towards him, Frederick, and other revolutionaries in 1901. In other times, he is often seen scolding his generals for being too drunk, and also negotiating with either the Zigotons or the Patapons 24/7. He is legally considered a maniac in the Patapon Republic, which is just a blatant lie, bringing in more coal and wood to his fire of hatred towards the Patapons.

ARC 1: 1891: THE WHERE IT ALL STARTED
JANUARY 23, 1891
θρ Tanetomoe adjusted her wide-brimmed hat as she entered the Marshal’s office. Her sharp eye scanned the beige walls filled with certificates and maps. The faint smell of leather and gunpowder lingered in the air. Her green coat brushed lightly against the floor, the ribbons from her childhood catching the light. Every detail matters, missteps are not allowed here. θρ
θρ Tanetomoe stepped forward with calm determination. “Marshal Riquepon, I need to know where Kuropon has been seen.” The weight of her duty presses on her, and she cannot afford to fail. The fate of this city depends on the choices she makes. θρ
-
̇⋆✮ Riquepon, sitting behind a heavy wooden desk, adjusted the brim of his black fedora. His beige coat appeared ordinary, but the Polt Single Action Army at his side indicated his quiet authority. He turned his gaze toward Tanetomoe. ̇⋆✮*
-
̇⋆✮Riquepon leaned back slightly, his voice steady.* “I’ve probably seen him around Kanchaka." That’s all he can share without misleading her. The law is simple, but the world rarely is. ̇⋆✮
θρ Tanetomoe nodded slightly, suppressing a sharp breath. Her finger brushed the revolver holstered at her side, the metal warm against her coat. That answer is useless, but it’s a start. Kuropon cannot hide forever. θρ
θρ She left the office, her boots clicking softly against the floorboards as she approached the stagecoach waiting outside. The brown leather seats smelled faintly of horses and sweat, but she ignored it. Once inside, she adjusted the red ribbon band on her hip, feeling the green coat flutter as the coach jolted forward. θρ
θρ The ride was long, winding through the outskirts of Patapolis and eventually into the Kanchaka Region. She observed the passing landscape in slow time, the city, the forests, and the dust rising from the roads. Each movement and moment stretched slightly, allowing her to see the wind shift the leaves and how shadows bent over the rooftops. θρ
θρ At 12:14 PM, the coach creaked to a stop. Tanetomoe leapt from her seat, landing gracefully like someone who had trained every day since childhood. Her eye scanned the rooftops. θρ
θρ Suddenly, a hail of bullets erupted from above. The precision was impossible but chaotic, she thought, diving behind the nearest crate. The air whistled with gunfire as bullets grazed her coat and struck the armor patches on her shoulder and chest. She felt pain, sharp yet manageable. One bullet clipped her side, burning the fabric and leaving a faint scorch. θρ
θρ Tanetomoe rolled for cover, her eye narrowing. “So this is Kuropon’s work. Not subtle, but effective, bah!” She must stay focused; every second counts. The civilians cannot see this. θρ
θρ The scene blurred into chaos. Tanetomoe returned fire with controlled bursts from her Pon DA/SA Revolver, falling into her practiced rhythm. Despite the danger, she tracked each rooftop and silhouette of the gang members with precision. Still, some bullets found her, nicking her coat and leaving bruises beneath. θρ
θρ She tumbled through the streets, avoiding onlookers and obstacles, until the last shot sent her sprawling into a hospital doorway. The interior smelled faintly of disinfectant, blood, and worry. Nurses and a medic rushed to her, their voices a low murmur. θρ
A nurse knelt beside her, concerned. “You’re badly hit, but you’re lucky to be alive. Stay still.”
θρ Tanetomoe, breathing heavily, glanced toward the ceiling. “I... must move again soon.. Hmph..” Luck is fleeting, and Kuropon won’t wait for her to recover. θρ
ᯓ★ˎˊ˗ Meanwhile, near Patapolis, Frederick adjusted the straps of his belt as he backed against the wall. His gray trousers were scuffed, and his green coat, usually worn for formal occasions, was crumpled from the fight. Two colonels, red-faced and shouting, delivered swift, unlawful blows. Each hit made him stumble, but he held back from retaliating. ᯓ★ˎˊ˗
ᯓ★ˎˊ˗ Frederick was contemplating. Violence is predictable. He knows what they will do next. He doesn’t need to return it. This is discipline, this is survival. ᯓ★ˎˊ˗
- ̇⋆✮ Suddenly, a superior officer appeared, his eye sharp and commanding. ̇⋆✮*
“Enough! Both of you report to the commandant. You will be punished, but not like this,” he bellowed.
ᯓ★ˎˊ˗ Frederick straightened, brushing dust from his coat. He didn’t bother tending to the bruises. Instead, he walked toward the mess hall, where the smell of stew and freshly baked bread calmed his mind slightly. He joined the line, picked up a tray, and heard the news: ᯓ★ˎˊ˗
ᯓ★ˎˊ˗ A brigadier general, maybe a bounty hunter had been shot by Kuropon’s gang. Miraculously, the general survived. ᯓ★ˎˊ˗
ᯓ★ˎˊ˗ Quietly to himself, Frederick narrowed his eye. “Survived... so they are reckless, but not flawless. This changes nothing. Only vigilance matters.” ᯓ★ˎˊ˗
- ̇⋆✮ Another major named Johannpon looked at the newspaper aswell. ̇⋆✮* "What the fuck was that?"

ARC 2: 1892: DO WE HAVE A PLAN, KUROPON?
OCTOBER 12, 1892
θρ Claire walked cautiously through the streets of Centuwater. Her small Sabara wings drooped slightly from tension, her soft blue eye scanning every shadow and alleyway. The city was bustling, people moving with purpose, carts rattling over cobblestones, and street vendors calling out over the clatter. She froze when a sudden movement caught her eye. Across the plaza, black shapes darted between buildings. She blinked once, and her heart skipped. Kuropon’s gang had arrived. The unmistakable dark silhouettes, flowing antlers, and ragged coats gave them away. θρ Claire: voice trembling "No... not here..." θρ Panic spiked in her chest. She turned on her heels and ran. The soft scuff of her boots against the pavement echoed behind her, and she weaved between market stalls, knocking over barrels of apples and crates of fish. Her eye remained fixed on the gang, now surveying the city from the rooftops. θρ Kuropon perched on the edge of a building, his massive single eye scanning the square below. His gang flanked him, rifles and revolvers glinting in the sunlight. They moved as a single predator, black coats and green masks cutting across Centuwater like shadows. Kuropon: to his crew, cold and commanding "Do we have a plan, boys? Hit fast, hit hard. No mercy." The gang nodded. Jesse and Wyatt crouched at the windows, taking shots that shattered glass and screamed through the plaza. Bonnie and Clyde sprinted along rooftops, rifles blazing, cutting down anyone in sight. Billy and Cal brought up the rear, covering the flanks. Bullets rained down, echoing like thunder. Citizens screamed, diving behind carts, barrels, anything to avoid the spray. The gang moved with uncanny precision, never clustering, always aware of one another. Claire ducked into a narrow alley, pressed against a brick wall. Her eye darted up as she saw the gang leap from roof to roof. She tried to steady her breath, her mind racing. The city was collapsing around her. Kuropon’s gang was methodical in their chaos. They corralled the townspeople into panic, forcing them to flee into streets where more shots followed. Horses bolted, wagons overturned, lanterns shattered. Smoke and dust filled the air, turning morning sunlight into a hazy orange glow. Kuropon: laughing lowly, eye gleaming "Let’s move! The train waits, and I don’t intend to miss it." The gang descended on the train yard, vaulting over fences, smashing gates, and firing indiscriminately. The conductor’s whistle blew, warning passengers, but it was too late. Jesse and Frank pried open the doors while Bonnie and Clyde secured the roof. The train lurched to life. Kuropon leapt aboard first, tailing black coat flowing, eye scanning the city one last time. He glanced at the buildings crumbling, at citizens diving for cover, and gave a cold nod to his gang. Kuropon: *to himself, focused$ "Keep moving. Keep breathing. Keep counting." The gang piled aboard, rifles and bandoliers catching the sunlight. The conductor screamed orders, but they were drowned out by the roar of the engine and the explosions of gunfire behind them. The chase began. Centuwater’s lawmen tried to follow, but the gang had the advantage. They had planned for escape routes, shortcuts through the forests and desert paths outside the city. The train barreled forward, cutting across rivers, sand dunes, and rocky outcrops. Civilians who had survived the initial assault ran into the desert, forests, and mountain paths, screaming and clutching what little they could carry. Some were caught in the crossfire, bodies dropping silently amid the wind and dust.

ARC 3: HERE LIES KUROPON,8 SLUGS FROM A ZIGOIDA, NO LESS, NO MORE
1897, June 3
θρ The train rolled through the rain-soaked valley, the air thick with steam and metal. Inside, Tanetomoe sat near the window of the fourth car, her hat tipped low as she watched the gray blur of trees pass by. She held her lever action rifle close, thumb tracing the old marks on its handle. θρ
Tanetomoe: "Chakahal better be worth the trip," θρ she muttered, taking a quiet sip from her flask. θρ "I’m not running from another mess."
⊹ ࣪ ˖ Two cars ahead, Kuropon was hunched over a small table, tools scattered around as he adjusted the trigger on a half-finished pistol. The steady clinking of metal mixed with the rhythm of the wheels below. ⊹ ࣪ ˖
Kuropon: "If I can sell this, maybe I’ll finally get a roof over my head," ⊹ ࣪ ˖ he said under his breath, tightening a screw. ⊹ ࣪ ˖ "Or at least a warm drink."
ᯓ Neither knew the other was there. Tanetomoe’s mind was set on survival, Kuropon’s on invention. The distance between them was just wood and steel, yet it felt like worlds apart. ᯓ
ᯓ As thunder rolled outside, both glanced toward the window at the same time, feeling a faint, unshakable sense that someone familiar was near. ᯓ
Conductor: "Next stop, Chakahal Station! Thirty minutes out!" the conductor called. Fate was quietly lining up its cards.
Tanetomoe: θρ She glanced down at the sleeping form of her son, Frederick, as he dozed on her shoulder. θρ
"Stupid boy," θρ she whispered, gently brushing a strand of hair from his face. "Making his mother worry like this. But he's still my baby, even now... θρ"
θρ Tanetomoe's eyes flicked back to the rainy landscape outside. The train rattled on, carrying them towards an uncertain destination. She tightened her grip on the rifle, a habit born of too many years on the run. θρ
Tanetomoe: "Wake up, Frederick. We're almost at Chakahal."
θρ Tanetomoe shook her son's shoulder gently to rouse him from his slumber as the train began to slow. The rain pattered steadily against the window, casting a gray and gloomy pall over the scene outside. θρ
Tanetomoe: "Come on, sleepyhead. We're here."
θρ She nodded towards the window, where the outskirts of Chakahal Station could be seen through the rivulets of water streaking the glass. The train gave a lurch as it pulled into the station, the wheels screeching against the rails with a sound that made Tanetomoe wince. θρ
Tanetomoe: "I hope you have a plan, Frederick. Your mother didn't drag you out here for nothing."
θρ She stood up, slinging her rifle over her shoulder and adjusting her hat. The train came to a stop with a hiss of steam, and the doors slid open. A gust of cold, wet wind blew in, carrying the scent of rain and something else. θρ
ᯓ★ˎˊ˗ As Frederick stumbled out of the train car, blinking in the dim light of the station, he took in the scene before him. Chakahal Station was old, the wood of the platform weathered and gray, streaked with dampness from the relentless rain. The building itself looked like it had once been grand, with its soaring roof and ornate eaves, but time and neglect had taken their toll. ᯓ★ˎˊ˗
Tanetomoe: "Careful, Frederick. Watch your step."
θρ Tanetomoe followed close behind him, her boots clicking on the rain-slicked boards. She scanned the station with a critical eye, taking note of every shadow and every face. The few people about at this hour were bundled against the cold, their hoods pulled up and their collars turned high. No one seemed eager to linger. θρ
Tanetomoe: "I don't like the looks of this place. It's too quiet, even for this early in the morning."
θρ She gripped her rifle a little tighter as she spoke. Frederick could see the tension in her shoulders, the way her eyes darted from face to face. He knew that look well - it was the look of a person who had seen too much, who expected danger around every corner. θρ
Frederick: "Ugh.. Did I just see someone with a green mask? Like.. they just darted past us."
Tanetomoe: θρ Tanetomoe's head snapped around at her son's words, her eyes narrowing as she scanned the platform. The few people about had vanished, melted into the gray morning light and the steady patter of rain. She saw no one wearing a green mask, but the hairs on the back of her neck stood up all the same. θρ
Tanetomoe: "A green mask? Are you sure, Frederick? I don't see anyone..."
*θρ She let the sentence trail off, a sense of unease settling over her like a shroud. Tanetomoe had learned long ago to trust her son's instincts, even if his imagination sometimes ran away with him. If Frederick said he saw a green mask, then there was likely something to it.θρ *
Tanetomoe: "Stay close to me, Frederick. And keep your eyes open. If there's someone here wearing a mask, it can't be for any good reason."
θρ She started forward, her steps purposeful and alert. The rifle in her hands felt suddenly heavier, more necessary. Tanetomoe had a feeling that their trip to Chakahal was about to get a lot more complicated than she had anticipated. θρ
⊹ ࣪ ˖ Suddenly, two of Kuropon's gang members put their guns on Tanetomoe and Frederick's backs. It was Arthpon and Anniepon, sent by the one with the green mask. ⊹ ࣪ ˖
Tanetomoe: θρ Tanetomoe froze as the cold steel of a gun barrel pressed against the back of her skull. She heard the click of a hammer being cocked, the unmistakable sound of a weapon being readied for use. Beside her, Frederick tensed, his breath catching in his throat. θρ
Tanetomoe: "Don't move, Frederick," she hissed under her breath. "We've got company."
θρ She didn't need to look back to know who it was. The cruel chuckle that echoed behind her was all too familiar, as was the stench of whiskey and cigarettes that seemed to follow Arthpon like a shadow. Anniepon's presence was harder to discern, but Tanetomoe could feel the press of another gun, the weight of another threat looming over them. θρ
Tanetomoe: "Arthpon, Anniepon," she said, keeping her voice low and steady with an effort. "I should have known Kuropon would send his dogs to greet us."
θρ She made no move to reach for her own weapon, knowing that any sudden motion could spell disaster. Instead, she stood still as a statue, her mind racing as she tried to think of a way out of this predicament. θρ
ᯓ★ˎˊ˗ Then, Frederick slowed down time on his perspective from what his mother trained him, and quickly turned a 180 degree angle, then disarmed the members with his pistol, shooting their arms. This made Tanetomoe realize she could've done that beforehand. ᯓ★ˎˊ˗
Tanetomoe: θρ Tanetomoe's eye widened in shock as she watched her son spin around with lightning speed, his hand flashing to his pistol and disarming both Arthpon and Anniepon in a matter of seconds. The sound of gunshots echoed through the empty station, the reports startlingly loud in the morning air. Arthpon and Anniepon howled in pain as Frederick's bullets found their marks, striking their arms and sending their weapons clattering to the ground. θρ
Tanetomoe: "Frederick! How did you...?"
θρ She trailed off, realizing that her son's new abilities had far outstripped anything she could have taught him. The way he had moved, the precision of his shots, the sheer speed of his reaction - it was beyond anything she had ever seen. Pride and amazement warred within her, even as the adrenaline of the moment coursed through her veins. θρ
Tanetomoe: "Never mind, we need to go. Now."
θρ She grabbed Frederick's arm, pulling him towards the station exit. Behind them, Arthpon and Anniepon writhed on the ground, clutching their wounded arms and cursing vividly. Tanetomoe knew they wouldn't stay down for long, and she had no intention of being here when they recovered. θρ
Tanetomoe: "Looks like your training paid off better than I ever could have imagined. But we're not out of danger yet, Frederick. We need to find cover, fast."
θρ She led the way out of the station, her rifle at the ready and her eyes scanning the surrounding area for any further threats. The rain had let up slightly, but the air was still thick and heavy with the promise of more to come. Tanetomoe had a feeling that their arrival in Chakahal was only the beginning of the trouble that awaited them. θρ
⊹ ࣪ ˖ Near the general store, Kuropon was hiding in plain sight. He shot Tanetomoe in the leg, disabling her. ⊹ ࣪ ˖
Tanetomoe: θρ Tanetomoe cried out in pain as the bullet tore through her leg, sending a shock of agony up her spine. She stumbled, her rifle clattering to the ground as she grabbed for her wounded thigh. Blood bloomed across her pants, spreading in a dark, ominous circle. θρ
Tanetomoe: "Frederick, look out!"
θρ She tried to warn her son, but the words came out as a strangled gasp. Through the haze of pain, she saw Kuropon step out from where he had been hiding, a cruel look on his face and a pistol in his hand. Behind them, Arthpon and Anniepon were slowly getting to their feet, their faces twisted in rage and pain. θρ
Tanetomoe: "Damn you, Kuropon," θρ she spat, struggling to stay upright. The bullet had struck her leg and shattered the bone, rendering it useless. She knew she was in no shape to fight, not like this. Her only thought was for her son's safety. θρ
Tanetomoe: "Frederick, you have to run. Get out of here, now!"
θρ She pushed him away from her, trying to force him to flee. Behind them, Kuropon was already moving, his gun trained on the boy. Tanetomoe's heart raced with fear, but she knew she had to give Frederick a chance to escape, even if it meant sacrificing herself. θρ
ᯓ★ˎˊ˗ Frederick, who was the type to assert his authority against aggressors, yelled; ᯓ★ˎˊ˗
"Just so you know, the government is everywhere, and they can shoot you all anywhen!"
ᯓ★ˎˊ˗ He said loudly; implying that there are authorities or soldiers hiding in this city. ᯓ★ˎˊ˗

- ̇⋆✮ Marshal Riquepon and his deputies arrive at Mellogray Farm on horseback. They witness buildings being burnt by a bunch of ruffians, and Patapons being hung by outlaws. Even after Kuropon's death, they still ain't lawful yet. ̇⋆✮*
Riquepon: "Well well well, would you look at that." * ̇⋆✮ While saying that, he was coughing a'sneezing from the cigar's particles. He grabbed the cigar and flung it away. ̇⋆✮* "cough cough I see a really familiar son of a bitch hanging there."
ᯓ★ˎˊ˗ Frederick was trying to survive being hung, until Riquepon's cigar hit his head and the burning stick then dropped to the ground. He looked at he men on horses and tried to tell, but can't. ᯓ★ˎˊ˗
Roscoe: "Hey, isn't that the kid? Wait, no, he isn't a kid. He's a full grown guy now. Guess we gotta get him free. Giddy up!"
- ̇⋆✮ The three lawmen, Riquepon, Silas and Roscoe rushed towards the major's position, and cut the hanging rope. ̇⋆✮*
Silas: "C'mon, now we gotta cut the civilians free too, man! Come!"
ᯓ★ˎˊ˗ The rope burned Frederick’s neck raw as it gave way. He dropped hard into the dirt, coughing air back into his single eye like it was something he’d lost years ago. The world tilted. Horses snorted. Boots hit mud. Somewhere close, fire crackled loud enough to sound alive. Frederick rolled onto his side, hands shaking, vision swimming. His eye locked onto Riquepon standing over him, fedora shadowing that unreadable stare. ᯓ★ˎˊ˗
Frederick: "Heh... took you long enough."
ᯓ★ˎˊ˗ His voice came out scraped thin, pride still clinging to it like burrs. Riquepon crouched, checked the rope burn with a glance only, then stood again without ceremony. ᯓ★ˎˊ˗
Riquepon: "Law doesn’t run, it walks. You just happened to stop breathin before it got here."
-
̇⋆✮ Around them, deputies were already cutting others loose. Some collapsed immediately. Some didn’t move at all. The quiet between the flames told its own story. Mellogray had been hit hard, and not long ago. The knots were still tight. The beams still warm. ̇⋆✮*
-
̇⋆✮ Windows burst outward as gunfire ripped from the dark inside. Lead chewed fence posts, kicked dirt, punched into barn walls. Horses reared, deputies scattered, boots splashing through mud and blood. ̇⋆✮*
Roscoe: "Contact! House! Big house!"
- ̇⋆✮ Riquepon drew smooth, no rush, revolver barking twice before the echo caught up. One outlaw tumbled from a second-story window, hit the ground wrong, didn’t get back up. Silas slid in beside a trough, firing measured shots, eye sharp, breath steady. ̇⋆✮*
Silas: "They ain’t scatterin. They’re dug in!"

ARC 5: ENDING YEARS OF THE 'HAWS PART 2
3:12 AM, DECEMBER 12, 1900
ᯓ★ˎˊ˗ The inky cloak of absolute night had thoroughly enveloped the snow-laden forests situated within South Zigotonia, thereby creating extended and rather unsettling shadows that seemed to dance eerily amongst the towering trees. Within the existing stillness, there existed a palpable and noticeable sense of impending foreboding. The precise date existed as some months subsequent to the crucial and pivotal moment when Frederick Sr. undertook the weighty and significant decision to alter his established allegiance, opting instead to formally pledge his unwavering loyalty to the prospering and rapidly expanding United States of Zigotonia, a decision that subsequently reverberated with far-reaching implications throughout the entire region. ᯓ★ˎˊ˗
ᯓ★ˎˊ˗ The encompassing darkness approached a state of near-total and comprehensive absoluteness, but, fortunately for him, the compact lantern firmly held in his very grip continued to burn with steadfast determination, thus projecting a modest and limited pool of illuminating light that extended around his immediate person. Tenaciously clutching the early model submachine gun tightly to his central torso, he diligently maintained a state of escalated vigilance, prepared at a moment's notice to actively confront any potential and unforeseen dangers that might suddenly emerge without warning from the deeply concealing shadows. Notwithstanding the widely-held reputation, which others had frequently bestowed upon him, for what they perceived to be utter fearlessness, he fully understood that such perceptions were, in reality, merely a direct result of the powerful adrenaline rush that coursed intensely through his very veins during those moments of extreme and heightened peril, effectively masking the underlying and palpable apprehension that he genuinely felt deep down. ᯓ★ˎˊ˗
ᯓ★ˎˊ˗ An undeniably unsettling sensation persistently gnawed at his innermost core, yet still, the compelling imperative to press resolutely onward remained firmly fixed in his mind; therefore, he determined that he had to continue his arduous journey, with his immediate and most pressing goal being the small and relatively isolated military outpost that had been formally designated as his intended destination. He remained notably hesitant to emit the piercing and attention-grabbing whistle that would, under normal circumstances, immediately summon his loyal and ever-faithful horse, his explicit reluctance stemming directly from the distinctly ominous possibility of potential adversaries who were undoubtedly lurking, carefully concealed within the surrounding and treacherous landscape. His persistent apprehension was certainly not unfounded, particularly given that his memory was still vividly imprinted with the harrowing details of his very last perilous border crossing, a truly terrifying experience where he had narrowly managed to evade a brutal mauling at the sharp teeth and claws of a ravenous wolf, his inherent vulnerability having been further exacerbated at that time by his distinct lack of any form of defensive weaponry whatsoever. ᯓ★ˎˊ˗
ᯓ★ˎˊ˗ In what subsequently felt like merely a fleeting moment later, brilliant and intense flares unexpectedly erupted, thus violently illuminating the otherwise impenetrable, completely pitch-black canvas of the night sky directly above him. It then became undeniably and abundantly clear that the Zigotons, surreptitiously cloaked and effectively concealed by the protective and all-encompassing embrace of the surrounding darkness, were deliberately guiding him onward utilizing these carefully orchestrated and timed bursts of vivid light. His eye, swiftly drawn almost magnetically by an irresistible force, immediately shifted their steadfast and unwavering gaze directly towards the actively beckoning source of this radiant luminescence, prompting an immediate and decidedly decisive change in his original intended direction as he very instinctively began running with notably renewed fervor towards the flares. ᯓ★ˎˊ˗
