- #1Physical geographyconstant
Keys: Physical geography, geography
As the world is a construction of the gods rather than nature, even its shape isn't known for certain. It could be a flat earth; it could be a geocentric universe; all that is know for sure is that it is not a "planet" as one would understand it. In any case, many fantastic and varied lands are described in the world by the Wandering Scholar and especially Saphirette Spherica, although details on where they all are in relation to each other is very sparse. The Scholar started his journey in the Main continent, which contains the majority of the world's human population. A notable nation is the mountainous Dragonia, which is ruled by dragons since the era of the former mamono lords. Also in the main continent, the Desert region is a hot waste of sand and pyramids, the graveyard of a once-great civilization - although new rulers and old ones may be trying to rebuild lost glories.
Far to the east of this continent lies a comparatively tiny archipelago country called Zipangu, which means "Kingdom of Fire" in the native language. It is a land of kimonos, shrine maidens, ninjas, and sake. Some of this island nation constitutes bright green Mamono Realm, where monsters and uncorrupted humans live close by; if not quite in harmony, then at least not with the one-sided antagonism that characterizes relationships on various Order lands. The Wandering Scholar reports that a nation from his continent has attempted to invade Zipangu at least once before, but the effort was defeated by a combination of human-monster military co-operation, and kunoichi espionage ravishing the enemy leadership into submission.
Described as lying "to the north of Zipangu", the Mist Continent is a candidate for that invader nation. Populated by panda-girls and kung-fu mice, it's an exotic place that the Wandering Scholar is eager to visit. There exists yet one other unnamed continent; which has become a mamono realm ruled by beasts after being effected by a salpinx's altered disaster.
Also described in some detail is not another land but the sea itself; now offering more than a cold, wet death after Poseidon defected to the side of the Mamono Lord. Sea Bishops travel the waves granting humans the power to breathe underwater, and once down in the ethereal glow of the mid-layer, you can sex up an eager mermaid or sea slime. Just don't swim too deep; there are ancient secrets lurking in the abyssal night. A notable part of the ocean is the Asuramis Sea, where lies the archipelago nation Court Alf.
- #2Magical geographyconstant
Keys: Magical geography · Secondary: Mamono Realm
A monster's mamono mana doesn't just twist mortal creatures; it corrupts the land itself. The soil turns jet-black; the air becomes heavy and stagnant; and a dark, oppressive gloom hangs over everything. Day and night switch place as heavy clouds block out the sun, yet the light of the moon is enhanced to a surreal, crimson glow. Devilish flora supplants the greenery that humans are used to: crooked black trees with blue leaves, hypnotic glowing flowers, herbs that make you go mute, and immediately deadly fungi. Ominous and evil-looking to humans, it's the familiar sight of home to monsters: a Dark Mamono Realm.
The mamono realm was a very dangerous place in the era of former mamono lords, with ferocious plants indiscriminately attacking both humans and monsters, poisonous swamps, and volcanoes continuously erupting. In contrast, despite inheriting the ominious environment from the previous era, the current mamono realm, under the influence of dark elementals, has becomes very “partial to humans and monsters”. If a child that can't swim falls into a lake, an unnatural jet of water will occur and pull the child up to the shore. If a volcano erupts, then the lava will flow in a way that avoids towns and other such places where people and monsters live. And even when a huge amounts of poison is dumped into the mamono realm's water source, it was instantly purified by nature.
The darkest of all Mamono Realms is Royal Makai, an immense land that is the main stronghold of the monsters. The Mamono Lord's castle lies at the center of Succubus Castle Town, the largest city in the world. Here, the mana corruption is so intense that not even veteran heroes can stand it; conversely, for monsters, it's party central, and the metropolis is a bustling entrepôt of sex tourism and erotic commerce. At the other end of the scale, bright green mamono realms are barely distinguishable from human realms, with blue sky, green grass, and water that doesn't turn into pink goo.
While mamono realms are lands which have been magically transmogrified, other lands are magically created. Often having only ephemeral contact with the material realm, these alternate dimensions are usually the private fiefs of god-like beings. Heaven is for the celestial angels and Pandemonium is for the Fallen ones, while Wonderland and the Fairy Kingdom occupy the demented, off-kilter middle ground. The Cat Kingdom is a strange realm of maze-like alleyways and Western architecture ruled over by Bastet.
It is possible for the land, even outside of the spirit realms, to manifest its ruler's magical power as a tangible effect. Such as how Druella's mamono mana changing mana-storing crystals of Lescatie, previously considered useless due to its fragility and low capacity, into Druelite, removing its previous limitations and capable of amplifying any mana into enhanced mamono mana. Another example is the heavenly waterways high above the buildings of the city of the Al Mar island, which is a manifestation of the powers of Poseidon and the Great Diva Difina.
Since it has become possible to infinitely accumulate power by having sex with one's spouse in the present era, there are a fair number of monsters and incubi with power to the degree of a lesser divinity, and it has now become easy to create small-scale spirit realms using the overflowing mana that is continuously generated in mamono realms. Powerful succubi can create a small-scale spirit realm just to be used as a bedroom to take their human there.
- #3Locations in the main continentconstant
Keys: The main continent
Known locations within the main continent: -Desert region: A vast desert with numerous ancient ruins from the time before the reign of the former mamono lords. The resurrected kingdoms in this area, be it by pharaoh, apophis, or incubus chosen by khepris, are inevitably mamono realms.
-Dragonia: A mountainous nation. Formerly known as the Dragon Empire Dragei famed among anti-monster nations for their dragoon corps, a faction of dragon knights who ride tamed dragons. The old government was abolished in the previous era and reformed as a nation ruled by dragons that coexist with humans.
-Ryuusen Town: A Zipangu-style hot spring resort town located on the eastern part which used to be a wasteland.
-Lescatie: Once the second largest Order-aligned military nation, now a dark mamono realm and the base of the Extremists faction in the main continent.
-Salvarision: A castle town and the headquarters of the Ice Flower Knight Order, with military forces once surpassing the nation's.
-Tronmail: A forest village in which three ancient guns were discovered in nearby ruins.
-Polove: Saphirette Spherica's hometown. Once a poor human nation with neither natural resource nor strategic value, now a bright green mamono realm rich in nature.
-Pressia: A magocracy mentioned as Baphomet Runya Runya's birthplace.
-Royal Makai: Also known as the deepest part of the monster realm. It is essentially the capital of all mamono realms, and the mamono lord's castle is located there.
-Viminarie: A theocracy that was prophesied to be destroyed with the crumbling of the earth, but was saved by Shirokuto Sabbath warping the country to another dimension.
-Welsple: A scholarly nation aligned with the Order, Saphirette Spherica studied at Saint Welsple Academy.
- #4Oceanconstant
Keys: Ocean Lands · Secondary: Ocean
Known places in the ocean: -The Abyss: The deepest part of the sea and the origin point of Monsters of chaos.
-Court Alf/Asuramis Sea: Originally an area with constant conflict between the seven island nations, now united as a nation under the Great Songstress Difina.
-Al Mar: Considered the gateway to Court Alf as it has natural currents to the other six islands. It's the center of Poseidon's faith, and technically the capital of the nation, with Difina living in the Great Temple of the Sea at the center of Al Mar.
-Dé Ryúa: Formerly a poor island conquered and turned into a prison by Diana. The island is now a dark mamono realm resembling a large red-light district. Ironically, it's notable for having significant faith in the Chief God, with several churches on the island.
-Matori: Formerly the base of the Pirates Federation and often clashed with Diana. The island shifted to entertainment and commercial services after the unification of Court Alf, but still keeps the pirate theme.
-Mira: A peaceful bright green mamono realm island rich with nature.
-Nevia: Formerly an aristocratic island, it still retains a grandiose culture.
-Queen Diana: Formerly known as Ship Nation Diana with shipbuilding skills unrivaled by other nations. Most of the nation is now underwater after the legendary kraken Asura Mythra pulled the Giant Battleship Queen Diana down to the bottom of the sea, with only Diana port still on the island.
-Saida: A dark mamono realm always covered with thunderclouds. The island is the most technologically-inclined by harnessing electric power via battery stones.
- #5Mist Continentconstant
Keys: Mist Continent
Aside from Wandering Scholar's desire to visit it, for a long time not much was known about the Mist Continent other than it's location. The Mist Continent contains anti-monster, monster-friendly, and fully-fledged Mamono Realm polities, with Ren Xiongmao pandagirls greasing the wheels of diplomacy between the nations: "Since they have a charm that attracts people, the Mamono Realm states and Monster friendly states of the mist continent often dispatch them as diplomats when establishing friendly ties with states that view monsters as suspicious". The Wandering Scholar also reports rumors that some of the Mamono Realms are ruled by legendary 9-tailed youkos: "In the uncivilised "mist continent," it is said that kyubi-no-kitsune rule a devilish paradise that we can say is truly debaucherous and spreading".
Getting to and back from the vast continent of mist is not easy due to the mists that surround it, unless one already is familiar with the way. The Wandering Scholar hasn't actually been there yet, and assumes there are many monster races there that are as yet unknown to him. Much of the information he has is due to him having had the good fortune of meeting a monster that traveled from there, and what she was able to tell him.
The Main continent has no influence in the continent of mist, and its culture has developed largely independently of the rest of the world (though it and Zipangu do have some things in common). Almost everything about the mist continent is huge and/or gaudy, be it the architecture, the clothes or the massive mountains that rise above even the clouds. Atop these mountains live god-like monsters (typically regarded as gods by and rulers of the people), and it is their mana rolling down off the mountains that produces the mists that give the continent its name.
There are three major nations in the mist continent, who in turn protect various smaller nations allied with them and together control vast territories. Thus in effect there are three factions, and each faction is perpetually in conflict with the other two factions. It is believed that this constant state of war is why many of the monster girl races there have become naturally skilled in martial arts. Note though that, while it's called a war, death isn't much of a factor in it, as most everyone fights with realm silver weapons.
As for the three factions:
-The Land of the Four Gods is a bright green mamono realm ruled by four great monsters often revered as deities. It is one of the few places on the world where humans and mamono live in harmony, and the people there aren't interested in conquering the others, only in maintaining and defending their borders. Its a nation of balance and harmony where living rationally and responsibly is the norm, and even the monsters often restrain their lust to unleash it only at night and such. Of course discipline is still looser than in many human societies.
-The Land of the Four Fiends is ruled by four exceedingly licentious monsters, and the dark realm state of the land reflects this. Basically its an extreme dark mamono realm, with all that entails. Even monsters like jinko are raging beasts, always in heat. Even the smaller states have god-like monsters as rulers, namely nine-tailed youkos, and on an individual basis the Land of the Four Fiends can be said to have the strongest monsters. That said; these nations are not interested in conquest, they invade the other factions only to acquire humans to take back to their own lands (since they can't produce their own humans) and their fighting forces are made up mostly of unmarried monsters.
-The Land of the Four Souls is a human-dominated set of nations presided over by a bold emperor. The faction is named after god-like monsters in the "holy land" mountains above who mostly stay out of worldly affairs but grant humans who seek them out power, these monsters are regarded as gods (perhaps because according to the philosophy of the people here, monsters should be lower in rank than humans). Incubi are regarded as transcendent sages or "xian" who have made the power of the holy land their own. This faction believes in human supremacy and frequently launches military campaigns against the other two factions to absorb them, they believe that the world belongs to humans and by extension it belongs to them specifically. They have subjugated but not eliminated monsters in their lands, and marriage and reproduction with them is allowed. It is mostly the humans who fight, but some have monster retainers. The humans also tend to take pride in protecting the monsters and don't want them on the front lines. As for their monster wives, they give the humans realm silver weapons, and cast spells to protect them when they go off to fight but still worry about them.

- #6Zipanguconstant
Keys: Zipangu · Secondary: Kingdom of the sun, Kingdom of fire
Zipangu, also known as the Kingdom of Fire and Kingdom of the Sun, is a region in the Monster Girl Encyclopedia world with a distinctly Japanese flavour. Described as an "extremely small island country" far away in the east of the world, Zipangu is home to many comparatively peaceful monster girls who coexist with humans in mixed settlements, which makes it the largest and only other place where humans and Mamono co-exist. While aggressive factions still exist, both on the human and monster sides, the region in general is a lot less rape-frenzied than the Order's continent.
Although the monsters (or "yokai") of Zipangu respect the Mamono Lord, they look to their own affairs and do not contribute to the Mamono Army. Nevertheless, the passive effects of having many monsters in one place for prolonged periods of time means that parts of the region constitute a bright green mamono realm.
Enma, the second Lilim, was born during one of many honeymoons the mamono lord and her husband have had in Zipangu. And she was raised there.
The humans of Zipangu do not worship the Chief God, instead mostly believing "that the divine is present in all things". There are even instances where some mamono are worshiped as gods, by both human and mamono worshippers. The Ryu and Inari are common targets for such faiths.
Even on occasions where a human man is pursued by a mamono that's seeking a spouse, most of these instances turn out to be much less violent. In fact, many such attacks end with the mamono becoming a devoted wife to the human. However, despite a majority of mamono in the Zipangu region being much more gentle than their counterparts in the rest of the world, there are still a few (especially the Ushi-Oni) that are known to violently assault humans in pursuit of intercourse.
The Zipangu region is home to many monsters who make their lairs in mountainous regions. Those traveling over high peaks should be on the lookout for oni caves and tengu eyries. Shinobi villages deep within the mountainous areas of the Zipangu region are the places where mercenary ninja kunoichi monster girls live and train; once a kunoichi finds a human that strikes her fancy, she will bring them back with her. To eschew the mountains and stay at home isn't much more of a guarantee of safety, however; Jorou-Gumo and kejourou geishas provocatively solicit human streets, and even inside the home, your lantern or umbrella might suddenly sprout tits and attack you.
- #7Fairy kingdomconstant
Keys: Fairy Kingdom
The Fairy Kingdoms are spirit realms of the Monster Girl Encyclopedia world: mystical lands that "exist in a different dimension than the human world", where the various fairy creatures live. As the fairies aren't naturally monsters, the Fairy Kingdoms are not Mamono Realms, although the ongoing monsterization of the fey leads Wandering Scholar to predict that it's probably heading that way.
The Fairy Kingdoms are described as "bountiful in nature where wondrous scenery stretches on and on". With flora and fauna right out of a children's storybook, the fairies live inside "house trees" and "house mushrooms", and spend all day at play with the talking plants and animals that inhabit the land with them. The titania fairy queens rule over the lands from their castles, and the towns below are filled with sweets and toys. Wandering Scholar opines that the idyll isn't entirely objective, though, as the sky is filled with kesaran pasaran pollen.
Humans and monsters cannot enter the Fairy Kingdoms without permission; several fairies have to dance a "fairy circle" to teleport people there. However, this prohibition isn't nearly as effective as it might sound, since the childish, fun-loving fairies will bring back anyone who they think is a good playmate. These include monster girl imps and pixies; or for fey who have been monsterized, humans who can play the funnest game of all with them. The Sabbath makes particular efforts to befriend and corrupt fairies too, so there's likely a branch office of the loli religion in the Kingdoms.
It is not known where the Fairy Kingdoms originate. They may have existed since the original Chief God's genesis of the world, or perhaps the titanias created them later, like the Queen of Hearts created Wonderland. Girls native to the Kingdoms include the regular fairy as well as leanan sidhe and kesaran pasaran, but not pixies, who (despite appearances) are actually from the imp family.
- #8Heavenconstant
Keys: Heaven
Heaven is the lair of the Chief God and her subordinate divinities, valkyries, and angels. It does not seem to function as an afterlife for the benefit of departed souls, but rather as the private dimension of the celestial gods. Impervious to attack by mortals or monsters, Heaven shares many of the attributes of "Spirit Realms".
Although it is not explicitly remarked, Heaven is described as the dwelling place of multiple greater divinities, so it seems possible that "neutral" gods like Ares and Eros do reside there. Conversely, corrupted divinities like the Fallen God and Poseidon are categorically banished from the realm.
It is not clear whether Heaven functions as an afterlife for mortal souls. Although such souls are explicitly attested - since female souls can be monsterized into ghosts and male souls can be captured by will-o-the-wisps - the materials on Heaven make no mention of them.
- #9The kingdom of catsconstant
Keys: The Kingdom of Cats
This is a monster realm thought to have been created by Bastet, goddess of cats. There, cats eat when they want, play when they want, and mate with humans when they want. Almost all of the residents are monsters of the cat family and their spouses. it is a cat paradise containing many actual cats in addition to the monstrous cats and is governed by the royal cait siths-cats blessed with the power and protection of Bastet.
Cats and cat monsters can come and go as they please, but because the kingdom of cats is one of the spirit realms (which are situated in different planes of existence), other humans and monsters cannot enter without the guidance of a resident. Entrances apparently exist in many places throughout the world, wherever there are cats. Even precinctive cat monsters such as the nekomata of Zipangu and the cheshire cat of Wonderland are known to slip in among the residents.
At a glance, the town appears to be constructed of Western architecture in a manner not much different from human towns. However, its structure in fact is labyrinthine and full of abrupt changes in elevation so that if a human and a cat should both run about, the human has little chance of keeping up. Cat monsters can ascend great heights with alacrity and thus have little trouble getting around. Human newcomers, though, have great difficulty navigating the roads and inevitably become lost. The town also contains an abnormally large number of alleys. Female cats in heat lurk in these alleys, waiting for a human to take a step inside. Cats like to drag humans who have stumbled upon the kingdom, or their own spouses, into these alleys to mate with them. Given this forbidding urban layout, visitors are advised to tour under the guidance of a local. Cheshire cats, originally the guides of Wonderland, offer such guidance in the kingdom of cats. That said, the final stop in a cheshire cat's tour is always an alley.
Almost all of the buildings have entrances designed for animal-sized cats so that they are accessible to both actual cats and nekomata. Roofs throughout the country are designed with wide berths, so monsters and their spouses can lie in the sun without worrying about rolling in one's sleep and getting injured. Couples thus napping in the middle of the day seem to be a common sight.
Though there are no laws aimed at felines in the kingdom of cats, there are laws that apply quite strictly to residents other than cat monsters. Of these, the following are two of the most important.
"A human spouse must pamper his or her feline wife and play or mate with her whenever she requests that he or she does so."
"Cats, whether monstrous or animal, shall not be abused, excepting cases in which it is part of the mating process."
In this manner, the law puts cats first. Those who break the law are placed under the authority of a cait sith who has been entrusted by Bastet to promptly strip the criminal of their rights as a human being-as well as make a human feline property.
The law described allows for a cat monster who fancies a human to freely mate with him or her as soon as possible in order to make the human hers. Thus, cat monsters play with their spouses when they want, as they want, and enjoy copulation with them all they want. Human spouses have no choice but to go along with their whims, for a defiant human will be punished by being made into the cat's property, which also leads his or her life to be redefined according to the cat's desires.
On the other hand, as long as a cat's spouse loves her and follows the law, he or she is guaranteed a life free of want for food, clothing, and shelter, in the name of Bastet. In the kingdom of cats, a human needs not work, but may live his or her life loving and mating with the cat as she will have them. Thus, though they are unconditionally beholden to feline whim while in the kingdom of cats, it seems that the spouses take a strange comfort in this and never want to leave.
- #10Pandemoniumconstant
Keys: Pandemonium
Pandemonium is a spirit realm ruled by the Fallen God. The lair of dark angels and dark valkyries, it is a dimension where time flows strangely. It is a place where no one grows old, where there is no hunger and no one ever runs out of stamina. It is an ideal place for couples who wish to lead a lifestyle that is solely consumed by the desire to continually indulge in pleasure.
Exactly how the passage of time is altered in Pandemonium isn't clear; "space-time is warped by the power of the fallen god, and the same moment continues on forever", but the growth and harvesting of Corruption Fruit implies that there may be some sort of progression from one moment to the next.
The general information on spirit realms suggests that, despite Pandemonium being a different dimension, travel and trade with the regular world is common. Dark priests who have finished their missionary activities (by finding a human spouse) in the human realms retire to Pandemonium with their spouse, but the realm may also serve as a destination for other monsters' honeymoons. Due to the extremely desire-focused nature of Pandemonium's residents, the stores are often only open a few hours a day once a week. Yet, due to the distorted nature of time in Pandemonium, if one enters the store then regardless of what time it is in the regular world, the store will always be connected to a time in Pandemonium when the store is open.
- #11Wonderlandconstant
Keys: Wonderland
At a glance, this mamono realm appears to be bright and rich in nature, and the towns are lined with lovely, fantastical structures, but at the same time, there are plants and structures with something off about them, and objects that seem out of place scattered everywhere. A giant castle based on red and white is situated in the middle of the kingdom where the Queen of Hearts lives.
Since it exists in another dimension, one can't enter without the assistance of the Queen or one of the monster residents. Some people carelessly fall asleep, and wind up there before they realize it. Some people get lost on the road, and arrive there after wandering aimlessly. Some people chase after “Wererabbits” that head off somewhere as if suddenly lured by something. Due to the Queen's prejudice, whim, and arbitrary decisions, many human men and women, monsters, and couples are invited to the kingdom a bit coercively. Also, for some reason, “Wererabbits” and “Alices” are sensitive to when the entrance to the kingdom appears, and it is said that every “Alice” will eventually visit the kingdom without fail. (It seems that if she has a partner, then they'll definitely be invited as a couple.)
Throughout the land, various places, products, and foods are imbued with spells that will irrationally attack visitors, including:
“Cookies that change the body of a man that eats them into a little boy, or the body of a monster or woman that eats them into a little girl.”
“Cakes that change monsters with a child-like appearance and little girls into the form of alluring adult women if eaten.”
“Tea that causes humans who drink it to go mad with lust like a dog, and attack and ravish monster girls.”
“Sudden aphrodisiac rains, and puddles of syrupy liquid formed from it.”
All of the obscene happenings that suddenly arise will no doubt confuse the minds of visitors and shake them. Unlike visitors, the denizens of Wonderland will just enjoy sex as a couple if one of these happenings occurs.
Additionally, the denizens have a grasp of the effects of the various spells in this land, and the conditions that trigger them. (It seems that it's mainly caused by the mamono mana released when monsters copulate).
For example, if a couple deeply kisses, then they can instantly warp from the castle to the shopping district, etc... They use stuff like that for their convenience. From a bystander's perspective, it looks like the denizens are indulging in sudden, obscene liaisons and initiating sex all over the place, so to visitors it comes off as madness.
The insanely obscene spectacles bewilder visitors at first, but due to the guidance of the denizens of Wonderland, starting with the aptly-known “Cheshire Cat,” eventually they're able to adapt to it, and they too end up becoming one of the denizens of Wonderland.
Humans present at these happenings become married to the monster they had sex with and change into an incubus or succubus. In the case of monsters, some races will end up changing into one of the races peculiar to Wonderland. (Ex: If it's a Werecat, she'll turn into a Cheshire cat).
In this land, one will encounter various happenings, and meet many monsters and couples, but a huge transformation awaits an “Alice” who can overcome these trials and arrive before the queen even while being showered with pleasure.
“Alice” is a peculiar race. They return to being virgins after having sex with humans, additionally, their memories of sex disappear, and they can't become pregnant, but the nature of those who adapt to this land changes, their memories remain after sex, and they become able to get pregnant. Furthermore, even if it appears as though the old memories have disappeared, they actually continue to store up inside of them, and all the memories of an Alice's sexual encounters with her spouse will be restored.
In this way, they become complete as a true “Alice” and retain the pure, meek heart they had to begin with while still possessing all the lewd and happy memories that they experienced. (Perhaps because obscene happenings continue one after another when an “Alice” is adventuring in Wonderland, or perhaps because of the mamono mana of the Queen of Hearts that pervades this mamono realm, since it's treated as if their body is “constantly having sex,” they're able to keep maintaining their memories. Also, once an “Alice” becomes complete, she won't lose her memories, even if she goes back outside of Wonderland.)
The Queen of Hearts: She's one of the “Lilim” who are the daughters of the Mamono Lord and her husband, and she's the third daughter. She has the form of a little girl, and her personality is also extremely childish, but she's a haughty despot, and Wonderland is a land that she created by doing as she pleased. Everything in the kingdom is decided by her whim and caprice.
If one upsets her, various obscene punishments are unavoidable. Even if not, she'll probably order punishments on a whim. (These punishments are mostly just treated as events where they can get off with their partner in an unusual environment by the denizens of Wonderland.)
She's always seeking fun things, tasty things, and sensual things, so to relieve her boredom she calls humans and monsters from outside into Wonderland. She also has a lonely side, and it's said that she summons the denizens of Wonderland to play with her, or makes them give her sweets. On the one hand, she's adored by the denizens of Wonderland as Queen, but it also does indeed seem like they're humoring a spoiled child.
With vast magical power that's even equivalent to that of a god, she has a knack for exceptional sorcery. She's the one who imbued all the spells all over Wonderland. Day after day, she devises even more fun and obscene new pranks, surprises, or spells.
Additionally, the reason she has a child-like form is that even though she's a “lilim,” she's also of the mutant race “Alice.”

- #12Cultureconstant
Keys: Culture
The majority of the world (the main continent and Court Alf) is a reflection of medieval and renaissance European culture common to fantasy settings, with dark mamono realms leaning toward a gothic aesthetic. There is a mixture of different cultures; with the Desert Region being based on ancient Egyptian-Arabic hybrid, Zipangu being based on medieval Japan, and the Mist Continent being wuxia China. There're also elements of modern day culture, such as Saida's neon light, and Momonika Sabbath's clothing.
It's noted that the Chief God's festival is a holiday important to many people Among mamono, the "Anniversary of the Ascension of the Mamono Lord" is commonly celebrated for the gaining of the bodies monsters now have, and their gratitude to the Mamono Lord for it. It’s widely considered a day to dress in special revealing outfits to show off those bodies.
- #13Languagesconstant
Keys: Languages, language
The most widely used language among both humans and monsters is the "Chief God Language," which is said to have been brought to humans by the chief god. Since many monsters did not possess any language in the previous era, when they became monster girls they often took on the main language the humans used. This language is good for telling stories and writing poetry, and most literary works by monsters and humans alike are written in this language.
There are also races that have their own language, but also use the Chief God language as an additional official language, such as Elvish for elves, and Dwarvish for dwarves.
Cultures where the influence of the Order has been weak through history (such as the Mist Continent and Zipangu), have their own, distinct languages.
There is also a general "Monster Language" that has been spoken among the higher-rank monsters since ancient times. It is known for its directness compared to the theistic language of the chief deity, and for having many words that express complex things with a single word. It is thus very suitable for casting magic. This language historically was limited to certain intelligent monster races, such as demons, succubi, vampires and baphomets, and upon gaining sapience in the current era most monsters adopted the chief god language, as it was easier to communicate with humans using this than the monster language, and many monsters that did speak the language gave it up in favor of the chief god language. However, even in the present some specialized Sabbath grimoires are written in this language, and there are many high rank monsters that can speak the monster language. Further, because most monsters that did speak in the previous era still rarely communicated or cooperated with other types of monsters, subtle differences in the monster language developed between races, that humans would define as dialects. These include:
-The "Standard Language" is used by demons, baphomets and witches. It is the most formal and easy to use.
-The "Inma's Language" contains many words with lewd meanings and tends to be naturally lascivious and seductive.
-The "Vampire Language" has many commanding words and tends to be pronounced in a overbearing tone.
-There is an "Abyssal Language" spoken by some monsters that live in the deep sea. It is completely different from the other monster language. One feature of the "Abyssal language" is that it is only pronounceable by married abyssal monsters, as speaking it requires overlapping her voice with that of her spouse when their bodies are linked. This simultaneous speech is possible not through standard telepathy, as that would still have a time delay, but more through the couple being able to outright communicate to each other what the other is going to say or think before they say or think it, as if they were predicting each other's thoughts, allowing them speak as if they were one person.
-Lastly, there is "Spiritish" special language used for Elemental Magic.
- #14Faithconstant
Keys: Religions, Faith
-The Order of the Chief God - The largest and most mainstream of religions amongst humans and non-monster races. It is headquartered in a large nation sharing its name, headed by a Pope. It espouses that there are multiple gods, the Chief God being prime among them, but there are several sects within it dedicated to gods other than the Chief God. Some gods have been rejected from the pantheon due to siding with monsters in the ongoing conflict, others who are more neutral, granting blessings to humans, as well as monsters, are either tolerated but viewed with suspicion, or quietly ignored. Most Angels follow the gods of this pantheon. It considers monsters to be inherently evil, though exceptions for especially peaceful monsters are made, and the anti-monster fervor varies from kingdom to kingdom. Despite the stance against monster, there're still monsters worshiping the Chief God herself and even received her blessing. Several churches of the Chief God are present in a mamono realm, the 'Dé Ryúa' island of Court Alf, and appears to be on friendly terms with local monsters. Monsters following the Chief God's teaching would ignore the problematic parts about killing monsters or suppression of desire.
-The Fallen Faith - The faith surrounding the Fallen God who resides in Pandemonium, their worshipers focus on the corruption of the pure into hedonistic indulgence, prime among the adherents are Dark Angels and Dark Priests. Adherents often perform 'missionary' work converting others to the faith and corrupting them, but upon obtaining a partner they like, these duties cease. Many worshipers will make a pilgrimage to Pandemonium with their partner to experience never-ending pleasure.
-Elemental Faith - A faith worshipping various elementals, and exalts those with close ties with Elementals, such as Trolls. It is unknown how the faith is tolerated in Order lands, but it is split between two factions, those who believe that monsterized elementals are a natural evolution for Elementals and should be exalted, and those who believe that monsterized elementals have been corrupted.
-Sabbath - The organization has aspects of a religious organization in which witches who strongly idolize their baphomet leaders conduct activities to spread the childish charm and depravity glorified by Sabbath to the world. Sabbath's activities in the ages of former mamono lords often had mocking and blasphemous tone against the Order, such as using Space Creation Spell to create “backsides” of the chief god's churches to conduct their activities. The religious aspects of the organization seems to get toned down in the current era, however, although they still carry out the same activities as a formality due to old traditions.
-Snake Cultism - A monster-worshipping faith which exalts serpentine monsters, and apparently worship Echidna as a snake god. To them, the snake is the symbol of bountiful harvest, eternity, and womanhood. Its adherents use various rituals to turn some human women in their ranks into members of the Lamia family, while most other human members seek to become the spouses of Lamia family monsters. The highest goal is to become an Echidna themselves, but since such a ritual is also the most difficult and lengthy, most members are satisfied with seeking to become lower-tier types of Lamia.
-Dragon Worship - At least one human nation worships a dragon as their god. This doesn't change after the dragon transformed into a Malef Dragon.
-Ryu Worship - Ryu, native to the Zipangu region, are often worshiped as water gods for their ability to control the weather and call rain. Humans are gifted to them as spouses, who the Ryu use to gather enough essence to call the rain when needed. The Ryu is attended by Shirohebi.
-Inari Worship - Inari are often worshiped in shrines in Zipangu. Occasionally, the Inari will produce Kitsune-bi and turn their shrine maidens into Kitsune-tsuki.
-Tezcatlipoca Worship - The Ocelomeh revere these other monsters as gods, practising a violent faith of bestial lust.
-Poseidon's Faith - The oceanic nation Court Alf worships Sea Goddess Poseidon as its state religion.
-Four Gods - The Land of the Four Gods, a nation of the Mist Continent, reveres four great monsters as divinities.
-Four Souls - The Land of the Four Souls, another nation of the Mist Continent, worship the monsters known as the Four Souls as gods. They live in the holy land high in the mountains, disengaged from the strife of the common world. Now and then, however, humans of the Land of the Four Souls travel to them to receive their power. Incubi revered as transcendent sages, or "xian", who have made the power of the holy land their own.
-Hel's Faith - As the goddess of life and death whose blessing is required for advanced necromancy, Hel has many undeads as devoted followers including a whole brach of Sabbath.

Keys: The nature of the world, Metaphysics
In the beginning, there were only the gods. The original Chief God subdued the other deities, and created the material world and the humans within it. The Order claims that the Mamono Lord and the monsters later "emerged from the darkness" to despoil creation; but after interviewing the present Mamono Lord, Wandering Scholar reports that the truth about monsters is that they have always been a part of the world. Monsters were originally bloodthirsty killers in the usual definition of "monster"; but despite (or perhaps because of) that, they formed the other side of a yin-yang balance with humanity. When "humans increase too much in number", a Mamono Lord rises to power and the monsters lay waste to mankind; and when the monsters' numbers are too high, heroes are born to slay the Mamono Lord and plunge the monsters into internecine conflict. The struggle between man and monster is not simply a case of food chains, historical enmity, or territorial ambition; it is a law of nature, fixed by the Gods into the very fundament of creation.
There is, however, an undocumented force of Fate working behind the scene. Its effect to the setting is yet to be acknowledged in any way, but it's confirmed to be the reason the Mamono Lord can turned monsters into monster girls. Without Fate on their side, it's impossible for anyone to change the setting again, including revert monsters back to their old era state.
