Keys: Konata Izumi
AGE 17-18 (Lucky Star)
STATUS Alive DATE OF BIRTH May 28 BIRTHPLACE Saitama Prefecture BLOOD TYPE A HEIGHT 142 cm (4 ft, 8 in)
JOB Cosplay Cafe Worker ALIASES Konakona (MMORPG nickname) Kona-chan (by Tsukasa) Chibikko/Shorty (by Misao) Onee-chan meaning "Big Sister" (by Yutaka) Izumi (by Misao) Izumi-san (by Miyuki) FAMILY Sōjirō Izumi (Father) Kanata Izumi (Mother; deceased) Yuki Kobayakawa (Aunt) Yui Narumi (Older Cousin) Yutaka Kobayakawa (Younger Cousin)
Konata's appearance is rather child-like, as she has a petite physique, is shorter than all the Lucky Star characters except Yutaka Kobayakawa and Hikage Miyakawa, and is flat-chested, unlike most of her friends. She has very long, shiny, blue hair that reaches her calves, and green sleepy eyes. Her appearance is very similar to her mother's, but she has messier hair, tanned skin, a large ahoge, a split lip that gives her a catlike smile, and a small mole under her eye, which she inherited from her father, Sōjirō Izumi.
Like her mother, Kanata Izumi, Konata has long blue hair, is very short for her age, has green sleepy eyes and very skinny. Most of the time, Konata is depicted without a nose, like most of the Lucky Star characters. Like all the Lucky Star characters, Konata has a certain face shape that is chubbier in the cheek area, has abnormally large eyes that take up more than half of her face, messy hair, and messy bangs.
In a scene from Episode 7, Konata is seen looking a bit different, as she is seen with lip gloss, visible eyelashes, and a visible nose. Her voice also became more ladylike, as opposed to her usually lazy and "tomboyish-sounding" voice.
Konata is a mischievous, sarcastic and eccentric, yet good-natured and friendly girl, who is very intelligent but lazy, which is why her grades are uneasy. She always teases her friends in a funny type of way, such as if they like someone. However, unlike Kagami Hiiragi (Konata's friend), Konata is very good at pulling an "all-nighter" and she always crams for tests the night before they happen, instead of studying ahead.
She has a very strong passion for anime, manga and adult video games due to her father's influence on her growing up. Konata’s room is filled with anime merchandise, such as a Haruhi Suzumiya poster and figurines and a large stack of manga next to her bed.
She is highly skilled in video games and usually always beats Kagami or others in them. Konata also frequently plays an MMO on the computer along with Ms. Nanako Kuroi. Apparently, Konata is very popular and influential within the otaku community, as it is stated that when Konata, referred to as “Legendary Girl A”, reads a series and likes it, the book suddenly becomes very popular.
She refers to herself as a prankster and enjoys teasing her friends, especially Kagami, who always gets mad at her. Konata is an athletic girl who does not participate in any clubs out of the fear that she will miss watching her afternoon anime.
As an adult in her early thirties, Konata still enjoys manga, anime and games and retains her mischievous, eccentric personality, with Kagami stating Konata has not changed at all since high school.
Konata was born on May 28 during the late 80’s or early 90’s to her father, Sojiro Izumi, and her mother, Kanata Izumi, who died shortly after she was born due to unknown circumstances, leaving Sojiro to raise her on his own. As she grew up, Sojiro’s hobbies of anime, manga and video games influenced Konata to like them as well.
High School
When she graduated to 10th grade (In Japan: 1st grade of High School) and made it into Ryōō High School, she met Tsukasa Hiiragi, Kagami Hiiragi, and Miyuki Takara. In order to fund her interests, Konata had a part-time job at a cosplay cafe in Akihabara where she cosplays as Haruhi from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. A little later in the series a girl called Yutaka Kobayakawa, Konata's cousin, joins the Izumi household. Starting from the episode, I Can't Suddenly Change, Konata and her friends enter their final year in high school. During the beginning of the school year Konata meets a new girl at her job named Patricia Martin, who is a transfer student from America. During the episode, The Yonder Here, Konata learns more about her mother Kanata from Sojiro. Konata and Sojiro prepare to take a picture; Kanata joins in with them, but appears as a shadow in the actual picture. Konata and Sojiro review the picture and are highly shocked and fear that they are cursed. In To Be Decided, Konata and the rest of the main cast perform a cheerleading opening act for the school's cultural festival.
the MMORPG she can be seen playing in the OVA is "Tower of Druaga: The Recovery of Babylim". In the anime, Konata constantly refers to parodies of several popular games, anime, and manga (such as Yu-Gi-Oh!, Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuu'utsu, Sergeant Keroro, Pokémon, Kanon 2006, and DragonBall Z) to annoy Kagami.

Kagami Hiiragi (柊 かがみ, Hiiragi Kagami) is one of the four main characters in Lucky Star. She is the older twin sister of Tsukasa Hiiragi, and she has good relationships with her friends, Konata Izumi and Miyuki Takara.
Kagami's physique is average. She has long, messy, light purple hair tied into twin tails with purplish-brown ribbons. She has pointed "tsurime" eyes compared to Tsukasa. Kagami is sometimes shown to have quite pronounced curves. She has slightly messier hair than her sister. Personality
Kagami is the stereotypical Tsundere in the group. She's a bit egotistical, and somewhat weak in common household chores, such as cooking and cleaning, unlike her sister Tsukasa, who excels at cooking. She can be the straight and intolerant type. However, she is prone to become shy and lonely at times. Kagami is constantly attempting to hide the fact that she has a deep sense of attachment to her friends, especially Konata.
She really does care about Konata and is almost always willing to go places or do favors for her. Despite this, she seems to take a twisted delight in mocking Konata's smaller-than-average physique, her lack of motivation and her tendency to be a troublemaker, which usually results in Konata becoming very defensive. Kagami is usually annoyed by Konata's constant references to her otaku interests, but usually has an idea on what she is saying.
Kagami appears to have an unhealthy obsession with her weight, which Konata always seems to make a joke out of as well by offering Kagami a pocky stick or teasing her by saying her internal food alarm clock is broken. Kagami likes reading light novels, unlike Konata, who prefers to read manga. Kagami is a very good team leader and likes to get things done.
Kagami is Tsukasa's sister and is occasionally referred to as "Kagamin" by Konata. In school, her grades are excellent because she studies very hard. When Kagami was in seventh grade, she made it into Ryoo High School and was made the class president in her first year. Kagami always seems to be put in the same class as Misao Kusakabe and Ayano Minegishi. She has been in the same class as those two since fifth grade. She is always in a different class than Konata and Tsukasa, but she frequently comes to their class during lunchtime to eat with them, to the point where she is on a given name basis with their class but not with her own classmates. Kagami is often shown wishing she could be in the same class as Konata. Kagami chose the humanities course in her second year so that she could be with her, but she was separated into a different classroom.
In To Be Decided, Kagami participates in the cheerleading opening act for the cultural festival after pressure from Konata. Initially reluctant, she berates Patricia Martin, who came up with the idea for her lack of preparation, but Kagami eventually dedicates herself to the act by being the cheerleaders' whip during rehearsal.
In Japanese, the name Kagami means "mirror" (かがみ) in Hiragana. She was named so because in the Shinto religion, mirrors are believed to attract the gods' favor, and because old-fashioned mirrors are round, and resemble a well-rounded family

AGE 18, Alive DATE OF BIRTH July 7 BLOOD TYPE B HEIGHT 157 cm (5 ft, 2 in) ALIASES Hi-chan (Ayano) Hiiragi's Sister (Misao) FAMILY Tadao Hiiragi (Father) Miki Hiiragi (Mother) Inori Hiiragi (Eldest Sister) Matsuri Hiiragi (Older Sister) Kagami Hiiragi (Older Twin Sister) Tsukasa Hiiragi (柊 つかさ, Hiiragi Tsukasa) is one of the four main characters of Lucky Star. She calls Konata Izumi "Kona-chan" and is the only one among all the Lucky Star characters who does that. She is the younger twin sister of Kagami Hiiragi, and is also a member of the Hiiragi family.
Personality
Tsukasa Hiiragi is generally a sweet, naive, innocent and dimwitted person who never gets mad, similar to Miyuki. Her calm, girly, cheerful, and friendly personality heavily contrasts with that of her sister, Kagami, who is a Tsundere and takes on a much more harsh, tomboyish, and arrogant attitude.
Tsukasa is often overshadowed and compared with her older twin sister, Kagami, because she does not seem to excel at anything, including studying and sports. Because her twin sister is much more capable than her, Tsukasa always needs help from her sister with tasks such as texting, much to the latter's rage.
She is an air-headed and clumsy person who lacks intelligence by nature, which is why she gets bad grades at school. She is also a heavy sleeper, and cannot wake up at a set time, even when someone is present to wake her up.
Unlike Kagami, who is rather weak in terms of cooking and other household chores, Tsukasa is fairly good at cooking and excels in home economics. Appearance
Tsukasa has an average build, albeit lacking any curves. Like Konata, she is quite small compared to her friends.
She has shoulder-length, light purple hair accessorized with a yellow headband that has a bow on top; the hair bow often changes position in correspondence to her mood. Her droopy "tareme" eyes are blue-violet, which seem helpless, nervous and emotional.
Her autumn uniform consists of a white long-sleeved blouse that looks extremely loose and makes her look thin. The sleeves of her blouse have dark salmon pink-colored cuffs with two thin, white horizontal stripes going around them, and a dark salmon-pink collar that also has two thin white stripes, with a light salmon pink necktie that is often shown in the anime without a knot, resembling a butterfly. Her skirt is short, reaches her upper thighs, and is the same color as her collar and cuffs. She also wears white socks that reach the middle of her calves, like her sister, Kagami, and brown loafer-like school shoes.
She apparently looks a lot like Akari Kamigishi from the anime To Heart. This is referenced twice in the anime. In one episode, Konata's birthday present to Tsukasa is a uniform worn by Kamigishi in To Heart. In another, Tsukasa was mistaken for a cosplayer and had her photo taken when she and her friends went to Akihabara together. Hiiragi Family
Tsukasa Hiiragi comes from a very religious six-member family. She has three sisters, with the eldest one being Inori Hiiragi, the middle one being Matsuri Hiiragi, and an older twin sister named Kagami. Tsukasa is the youngest member of the Hiiragi family. Her mother is Miki Hiiragi and her father is Tadao Hiiragi.

AGE 16-17, 31 (in Lucky Star: Konata's Thirties) STATUS Alive DATE OF BIRTH October 25 BIRTHPLACE Tokyo Prefecture BLOOD TYPE O HEIGHT 168 cm (5 ft, 6 in) ALIASES Yuki-Chan (by her friends) Miyuki-san (by Konata)
FAMILY Yukari Takara (Mother) Unnamed Father Unidentified Cousins
Miyuki Takara (also called Yuki-chan or Miyuki-san) is one of the main characters in Lucky Star.
She is the daughter of Yukari Takara and an unnamed man, and is the moe in the group and a stereotypical friendly "healing-type" meganekko (glasses- girl) character. Some say she's a saint.
Miyuki has long, thick, wavy pink hair, purple eyes, and fair skin with a slight pink tone. She is the tallest of the Lucky Star crew alongside Minami Iwasaki, and has the largest bust as well.
She wears large eyeglasses, and gray stockings with her autumn uniform. In an episode when everyone thinks that Miyuki's gentle and calm nature would be represented as a sheep, Konata says that Miyuki would be more of a cow because of her breasts. Konata thinks this is very cute, while Kagami thinks the opposite. Vision
It is mentioned several times during the anime and the manga that Miyuki's vision is poor. In fact, in the anime, Miyuki herself describes her vision as 20/200. This means that the level of detail Miyuki is able to distinguish at 20 feet is the same as a normal seeing person would be able to distinguish at 200 feet. Miyuki's reasoning behind her horrible eyesight is based upon the fact that, when she was in grade school, her mother would read to her in bed, and fall asleep without finishing the story. Miyuki would then continue to read and finish the book herself in the dark, and this ended up causing her eyesight to falter. While Miyuki knows of the alternatives to glasses she could use, she prefers not to use them. To this end, she has a self-professed fear of putting/allowing anything in her eyes. This would extend to contacts and eye drops, and stretches to include opening her eyes underwater and the lasers used in corrective eye surgery.
It has been said, and insinuated many times, that Miyuki is what Konata calls an "airhead." Generally, this meaning that Miyuki often forgets about what she is/was doing, and she "spaces out" quite often. This only aggravates her natural clumsiness, and a combination of both have caused her to take many spills and experience difficulty. This including when she has gotten her bag stuck in the door of a train, and running into an optometry sign while pacing back-and-forth in front of the building. The "air headed" attribute itself has also caused her difficulty; for example, when she attempted to heat up a drink and forgot about it, only to have to heat it up again and repeating the cycle several more times. As for the naturally clumsy aspect of Miyuki, it too has caused Miyuki trouble by itself, and that includes times where she has cut herself with a vegetable slicer, and when she has tripped on her way to a train.
Dental Status
Miyuki has a fairly extensive reputation with dentistry. Most of it related to the fact that she has poor teeth, though through no fault of her own. Miyuki herself loathes having to go to the dentists, and will seemingly try any method for trying to prevent having to go. This includes using Xylitol gum, and even brushing for 15 minutes at a time. As for actual exploits, Miyuki has been shown/described in the dentist chair many times. Accounts where a dentist found a secondary problem while fixing a first are not far off the record. And there is a particular account of Miyuki "escaping" during her exam, an account that even Tsukasa mentions is fairly crazy. Personality
Miyuki Takara is a pretty, smart, and friendly girl, who can be outgoing despite her reserved nature. One of her most distinguishing traits is her high intelligence (an example of this is the ability to recite highly-detailed, encyclopedic definitions whenever it is wanted) and socializing ability. However, she can be forgetful and clumsy at times, lacking in practical skills; in fact, she is known to help out around her house very occasionally, ash she lacks the skill of doing household chores. Her intelligence has given her the nickname "Miwiki" (みWiki) among the Japanese online community; a combination of Miyuki's name and the abbreviated name for the website Wikipedia. The website itself is an online encyclopedia which, because it can be edited by anyone, may have information on many different, obscure topics; a similarity Miyuki is known to demonstrate. Interestingly enough, there was such a fan following of this nickname for Miyuki that Konata uses this nickname for her in the OVA. Although Miyuki seems airheaded because of her clumsiness, she is very likely the smartest in the group. She is also the moe in her group, due to her very cute appearance, clumsiness, and kind-hearted nature. On a rare occasion, Miyuki will play video or computer games. On her own, this happens to be on the Takara family's computer and comprises of comparatively simple games like Solitaire and Minesweeper. According to Miyuki, she has completed a game of Expert-mode Minesweeper in under 100 seconds. Sometimes, however, Konata will hand over her DS and allow Miyuki to play the game inside. While playing these games, Miyuki is shown to be in a world of her own, completely absorbed in the game. She has been known to get scores in these games which amaze Konata; who responds by emphasizing the fact that she won't be able hold the high score in her own game. Biography
Miyuki is a young lady who is pretty, smart, a bit outgoing, and well-mannered, who also went to an all girl school before coming to Ryoo High School, and comes from a wealthy family. Her mother acts like a younger sister to Miyuki. She always uses extremely polite Japanese, even when talking with her closest friends. She was the class president for her grade level in her first year, at the same time that she became good friends with Kagami Hiiragi. During her second year of high school, Miyuki was put in the same class as Konata Izumi and Tsukasa Hiiragi. Miyuki's classmates often rely on her for help with their studies, and she is often shown giving impromptu but highly-detailed, encyclopedic definitions or explanations on diverse and obscure matters.

Kanata Izumi (泉 かなた, Izumi Kanata) is a minor character in the Lucky Star series. She is the late mother of Konata Izumi and wife of Sōjirō Izumi. Kanata was a very kind young woman, and she cared deeply for her loved ones. Appearance
Her appearance was very similar to that of her daughter, especially with her long blue hair and petite, skinny build. However, her daughter, Konata, has an ahoge, messier bangs, tanned skin, a catlike smile, and a beauty mark under her left eye. She looks young, even younger than Sojiro, though Kanata is slightly older than Sojiro. Description
According to Sojiro, Kanata was a very weak-constituted person and prone to bouts of illness or weakness, like her niece Yutaka Kobayakawa. Like Yutaka and Konata, she was also very short and extremely skinny.
When Konata was born, Kanata wished that her daughter didn't inherit her short height and her husband's personality. Much to her dismay, however, Konata ended up inheriting her short height and Sojiro's personality. Early Life
When Kanata Izumi was young she fell in love with Sōjirō Izumi, she eventually got married to him and had a little girl named Konata. Sometime after Konata was born, she passed away. The exact reasons and time of her death are unknown in either the anime or manga, only stating she died when Konata was an infant. For majority of the series, Kanata is only in photos and flashbacks. Kanata is so far only featured in one episode of the anime and one chapter of the manga, though she is mentioned in a few more. Kanata does not make her true appearance until the episode The Yonder Here, when she appears as a spirit at the Izumi house. A long flashback scene shows Sojiro's and Kanata's time before her death as Sojiro tells Konata about how much he loved her. When Konata and Sojiro take a picture, Kanata's spirit moves and poses with them, resulting in a picture of Konata and Sojiro with Kanata's spirit in it. However, Kanata only appears as a shadow in the picture, and Sojiro and Konata get scared and say that they must burn and rip the picture. Kanata denies and pleads for the picture to not be destroyed.

She is the cousin of Konata Izumi and the younger sister of Yui Narumi. Likes and Dislikes
It is revealed in Hiyori's notes that Yutaka enjoys the internet (a remark states: "...it's like her toy"). In the same manner, it is reveals that Yutaka also likes hot foods (like oden), and animals; and her dislikes include milk, her sickly physique, and aggressive people.
She is also noted to be strong at Japanese class; and not suprisingly, she isn't all that good at athletics. Appearance
Yutaka is very small (shorter than even Konata). She has a "sickly" physique, and is skinny and flat-chested.
Yutaka Kobayakawa has reddish-pink hair that is usually tied into high pigtails using 2 blue or white ribbons, and green eyes. Her eye and hair colors resemble the color scheme of a watermelon, and she has pale skin.
Like most/all of the Lucky Star characters, she is sometimes depicted without a nose, has a certain face shape, abnormally large eyes that take up more than half of her face, colorful, messy hair, messy bangs, and fringe covering her ears.
Yutaka only lets her hair down when she is sick or about to sleep, as shown in a scene wherein she woke up very early in the morning to see Konata playing games. Yutaka is also shown with her hair untied in a flashback of her middle school life, where she was sick. In the flashback, Yutaka was feverish, and she was lying down on a futon, with a moist towel on her forehead.
Personality
Yutaka Kobayakawa has a weak immune system and would often get sick, so she was unable to make any friends in the previous schools she was in, which is why she was very happy when she befriended Minami Iwasaki, and eventually the whole class. She is very close to her older cousin Konata, and is innocent, as she lacks knowledge of ero-games, yaoi, and adult video games.
Yutaka is very appreciative of her friend Minami, and she is very grateful to have a friend like her, to the point that Hiyori Tamura pictured both of them as a yuri-pair and created a doujinshi with characters that resemble both of them. Biography
In Various Ways to Spend Christmas Eve, Yutaka is shown briefly, in silhouette form, when Konata talks about her cousin moving over next year. Yutaka officially debuts in the anime episode Under One Roof. During this episode she did her entry exam for Ryōō High School; on that day she met Minami Iwasaki, who let Yutaka use her handkerchief. After being accepted into the school, she became friends with Minami Iwasaki, Hiyori Tamura and Patricia Martin. Yutaka is the closest friend of Minami and is often the only one who understands the latter's behavior. Hiyori notices this and frequently fantasizes Yutaka and Minami being a yuri-pair and has even done some sketches for a doujinshi she is creating where the characters have an uncanny similarity with the two, but still fights the thought because of the fact that they are all friends.
In To Be Decided, Yutaka was the first member of the main cast to agree to participate in the cheerleading opening act for the cultural festival, an idea put forward by Patricia.

Keys: Akira Kogami
GENDER Female AGE 14 STATUS Alive DATE OF BIRTH February 14 BIRTHPLACE Tokyo BLOOD TYPE O HEIGHT 152 cm (5'0") JOB Self Proclaimed Idol Lucky Channel Host/Navigator FAMILY Unnamed Mother Unnamed Father Unnamed younger sister
Akira Kogami (小神 あきら Kogami Akira) is a minor character in Lucky Star and one of the main stars of Lucky Channel.
Akira has short, salmon pink hair, an ahoge towards the right side of her head, and golden-yellow eyes. Like Konata Izumi, Akira has a split lip. Her arms are so short that the sleeves of her winter school uniform easily cover her hands. Like most of the ''Lucky Star'' characters, she has bangs and messy hair. Personality
Akira's idol persona tends to be very energetic, and her chief form of greeting is "Hiya, Luckies!" ("Oha Lucky" or "Ohayou Lucky" in Japanese), and frequently ends each episode with "Bye-ni!/Bye-nee!". The cute persona, however, is a cover-up; in reality, whenever she is annoyed or feels that her career or popularity is threatened (usually both by her assistant, Minoru Shiraishi), she immediately breaks character. For example, when Minoru once called something she said lame, she grabbed him and yelled, "Did you say something?!" Akira's bright persona is instantaneously shed to reveal a deep voiced, violent, chain-smoking, selfish-cynic of a burnt-out entertainer on the brink of becoming a has-been. However, her talents are undeniable; she has been in the entertainment business since the age of three.
She gets annoyed with her assistant, which is part of the running gag. She has been known to throw all sorts of objects (such as her overflowing ashtray) at Minoru's face, particularly whenever he mentions that a girl in the Lucky Star cast is cute and when he finds Tsukasa Hiiragi an idol to look up to.
Akira's disturbing and menacing persona may be a tongue-in-cheek and satirical look at the insecurities of Japanese idol singers, whose popularity is constantly threatened by the "next cutest thing on the block".
Not much is known about Akira's family or personal life, except that her parents are divorced and her mother takes charge over Akira's money. Akira started her acting career when she was three-years-old. In the show's present time, she is a junior high school student, who is also the captain of the Lucky Star informational ad section called "Lucky Channel" in the Comptiq magazine. In episode twelve of Lucky Star, Akira was scheduled to appear on the show, but due to getting suddenly ill she was replaced by a billboard of herself at the anime convention (the real-life Comiket) that Konata Izumi and friends went to.
During the later episodes of the show, Akira was supposed to have her own concert, but this was a lie and she was only given a karaoke room to perform in. It was all that they had in the 'budget' In the later episodes, she replaces Minoru Shiraishi with Daisuke Ono for an episode or two. In episode 21 Minoru finally goes berserk when Akira receives her water that was apparently too hot for her. Minoru all teared up in his clothes, finally getting the guts to yell at her and leaves Akira in surprise. In episode 23 she and Minoru are convinced by Yūko Gotō to work together again. Despite the result of the previous episode, in the final episode, episode 24, Akira and Minoru ends the show in yet another argument about when he stops her short in her song, which was supposed to be just a mic check.

Ayano Minegishi (峰岸 あやの Minegishi Ayano) is one of the main characters of Lucky Star. She is a classmate of Kagami Hiiragi who is the stereotypical 'Yamato Nadeshiko'.
Appearance
Ayano's physique is average. She has long thick orange hair. Ayano holds back her hair with a white headband to keep her hair out of her eyes, but since her front hair is pulled back, she is looked at as having a large forehead. Two hairs also hang down from her head. Personality
Ayano, in general, is played upon as being a very girly girl, as opposed to her tomboy friend Misao Kusakabe. Some of the most evident characteristics of this seem to be evident in both her appearance, her hobbies, her abilities as a person, and her overall gentle and kind demeanor. Her appearance generally includes this that could be considered feminine, and includes her long orange hair as well.
While Ayano is generally kind and gentle it has been said more than once by Misao that Ayano can become very scary once she becomes angry. While actual accounts of how violent Ayano may get remain untold, there is at least one occasion known of when Misao was able to fully anger Ayano. This being when Misao spilled coffee over Ayano's Rirattanu (a stuffed raccoon doll; the name of which is an obscurity of the real-life Rirakkuma doll, a stuffed bear.) Another occasion in which Ayano's temper has made a minor appearance includes the strip titled: Creativity. This is where Misao falls asleep on her desk and sleep talks during her dream which apparently featured her brother. This annoys Ayano, and when Misao wakes up, she confronts Misao by asking her if she's been having "dark dreams" behind her back, despite the fact that her boyfriend is Misao's brother. Biography
Ayano lives with her both her parents and her elder sister. Ayano is Kagami Hiiragi's classmate who has been in the same class with Kagami for the past five years, since middle school; she is a childhood friend of Misao Kusakabe. In the anime series, Ayano and Misao appeared as background characters; they did not get fully introduced until I Can't Suddenly Change. In To Be Decided, Ayano and the rest of the main cast perform a cheerleading act for the school's cultural festival.
Apart from the cheerleading act, Ayano and Misao have never been seen interacting with anyone outside of their class in the anime. The first time they do so in the manga is in the 116th chapter,

GENDER Unknown (presumably male, due to Kagami's fantasy) AGE Unknown Goldy (ぎょぴちゃん, Gyopi-chan?) or Lil' Goldy is Kagami's pet goldfish that she won while goldfish scooping during a summer festival. Kagami originally won Goldy during a summer festival during episode 5 of the anime. Goldy was the only goldfish within Kagami's reach during the game, and was caught (presumably) on Kagami's first and only try. Goldy is then brought up in episode 15 during the cherry blossom festival the next year; apparently Goldy has done quite well and has grown significantly, and to an extreme, since being caught. Goldy has grown so well, in fact, that Konata remarks that at it's size, Goldy can't be a goldfish. When last seen, Kagami has pledged to put Goldy on a diet, citing Konata having made a comment about an anime, as being the cause. Also, she made a thought on replacing it.

Keys: Gotouza
AGE 27 STATUS Alive DATE OF BIRTH August 28th, 1975 BIRTHPLACE Aichi Prefecture BLOOD TYPE O
Gotouza is a hyper-masculine bōsōzoku-style (Japanese motorcycle gang-style) caricature of Yūko Gotō that appeared as a guest in Lucky Channel after Minoru destroyed the set in a fit of rage. She acted as a mediator between Minoru and Akira and tried to convince them to patch things up by force. She rides a motorcycle which is a direct parody of the real Yūko being a devotee of the biker culture. When she leaves Lucky Channel in her motorcycle she makes the classic siren sound of the bōsōzoku depicted in anime and other media. But as she has no siren, she makes the sound herself.
Like Nanako Kuroi, she has a sharp tooth protruding from one corner of her mouth, it can be seen when she got on the motorcycle.
The name of Gotouza comes from the fact that she likes The Fist of the North Star/Hokuto no Ken/北斗の拳. The nickname is derived from the name Souther/Sauzaa/サウザー, one of the main antagonist of the first part of that famous manga. Tomokazu Sugita, the voice actor of Kyon in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, gave her that nickname upon discovering this. Also, the motorcycle shown during her appearance in Lucky Star is her own motorcycle.

Hikage Miyakawa (宮河 ひかげ, Miyakawa Hikage) is a minor reoccurring background character in the Lucky Star series. She is also a main character of the spinoff series Miyakawa-ke no kufuuku.
Hikage is a short, temperamental girl and the youngest in the entire cast of Lucky Star, being only 9. Hikage's appearance in the game has her with long blue hair; her hairstyle is distinctive, as she thinly braids her hair to the right, and uses that as a ribbon to tie her remaining hair. Her eyes are light blue and are slanted upward. Her appearance is a little different in the anime and manga, as she has short, blue hair instead of long, purple hair.
Hikage exhibits a classic Tsundere personality; and has a considerable dislike for the otaku culture and mannerisms because her sister, being a devout otaku herself, spends the majority of their income on manga, anime, and doujinshi. Because of her sister's mannerisms, Hikage wishes that she could grow up and be able to hold her own job to help support them and afford more expensive items.
One of her fears is getting in trouble with her sister and being forced to "...go vegetarian for a week...", a fear which has been revealed to be an actual method used by Hinata to punish Hikage.
Hikage or Hikage-chan, is the younger sister of Hinata Miyakawa. She is the youngest character in the Lucky Star series. Hikage attends the fourth grade at Sakura-en Public elementary school class 4-1.
Often played upon is the fact that Hikage is often hungry because of the bare minimum foods the pair is able to afford, and is depicted as having dreams where she is able to eat meat. Hikage's first appearance in the anime is a brief background shot in Episode 12, then she appears alongside her sister in episode 16; after Kagami, Tsukasa, and Miyuki have purchased the comic magazine and Code Geass doujin from Hinata, Hikage comes up to the counter and announces that she is hungry. She is next seen in the 24th episode when they both show up at Ryōō High School to attend the culture festival, only to learn they came a day too early and they can't come in; this is very upsetting to Hikage, who chastises her sister for wasting money on the train ticket when they could have put it towards "hamburger steak or something fancy." Hikage also appears alongside her sister in episode 87 (Moe Drill) of the Manga, where she accidentally throws away some of Hinata's manga volumes, discovers her sister watching late-night anime, and learns the value of some of the other volumes that they possess.

Besides being a biology teacher, Hikaru Sakuraba is also the captain of the Lucky Star informational ad section, which was renamed "Lucky Paradise". She is feared by Akira at first, but Akira later calls Hikaru a betrayer. She likes CalorieMate and sleeping, and dislikes vegetables and people who quickly misunderstand things. She is Fuyuki's good friend, who works as a school nurse. She appears briefly in episode twenty-four of the anime, making sure that Akira and Minoru will do things right, who are in bad terms after the event of episode twenty-one of Lucky Channel. Kagami Hiiragi, Misao Kusakabe, and Ayano Minegishi are in Sakuraba's class for all three of their High school years.
Hikaru is also the Faculty Advisor for both the Biology and Animation Research Club. It has also been said that one of her weak points is Home Economics.
Hiyori mentions in her notes that "She's easy to talk to, but sometimes her blunt statements will stab you in the heart."
In the fifth volume of the manga, Hikaru was featured in a few of the strips included. It is made apparent that Hikaru has parents who are pressuring her to marry soon, much like Nanako Kuroi's parents. However, it is also revealed in Temperament (where she also jokingly proposed to Fuyuki) that she is no hurry to do so, as "men don't seem anxious to look after me in the way I need."

Hinata Miyakawa (宮河 ひなた, Miyakawa Hinata) is a minor reoccurring background character in the Lucky Star series. She is also a main character of the spinoff series Miyakawa-ke no kufuku.
Hinata Miyakawa.Hinata is a young woman who appears to be in her early 20's, with long salmon pink hair, which she ties just a bit to the left of her forehead with a rabbit clip; she has dark pink droopy eyes and is a meganekko. Hinata has an compulsive obsession with manga, anime, and doujinshi. Despite her irresponsibility with money, Hinata can be responsible when taking care of Hikage and even knows how to punish her. It has been mentioned that a way Hinata has punished Hikage for doing something wrong is by making her to eat a vegetarian diet for a week, something which the meat-loving Hikage is shown to be afraid of on later occasions. About Hinata
Hinata Miyakawa is a young woman who works at a dōjin shop in Akihabara, called Gamers (which is often brought up by Konata in the anime), presumably not very far from the Cosplay Cafe where Konata Izumi works. However, despite this, she remains poor because of her obession with anime and manga. She and her sister, Hikage Miyakawa, live in a small crowded apartment that itself is cluttered with piles of manga. Hinata makes three appearances in the anime. The first appearance is in the background in episode 12 with her sister. Then she appears in episode 16. When Kagami, Tsukasa, and Miyuki are asked to pick up a comic magazine and a Code Geass dojinshi; she is there to both help them find the items as well as check them out. Hinata's next appearance is in the 24th episode, where she and Hikage showed up at Ryōō High School to attend the culture festival, only to find out they had come the day before the school opened it to the public. In the manga she and her sister are highlighted in three strips in episode 87 (Moe Drill), giving glimpses of the home-lives of both Hinata and her sister.

Hiyori Tamura (田村 ひより, Tamura Hiyori) is a schoolmate that appears along with the main cast of Lucky Star. She is a first-year student in the same class as Yutaka Kobayakawa, Minami Iwasaki and Patricia Martin.
Tamura has waist length black hair, purple colored eyes that appear as droopy, and round framed glasses like Miyuki. She stands at average height and is usually seen in her school uniform, though she's also seen in casual clothes and a yukata in other episodes. Personality
Hiyori tends to be a kindhearted person, but can have unfortunate luck. She has a friendly personality, but is prone to becoming bashful and clumsy, leading to simple mistakes during a decisive moment. She is a member of the Animation Club, and is Kō's junior. She also seems to be unlucky with animals since the normally timid dog of Minami, Cherry, is apparently hostile to her.
Hiyori Tamura is also an amateur dōjin artist. Hiyori is always searching for a good plot to use in her dōjinshi, and tends to imagine Yutaka and Minami in romantic moments, only to grow embarrassed over the idea and break into an emotional outburst, which leaves Yutaka and Minami clueless. Even if she has a moment of enlightenment, she fails to jot down notes about it, which causes her to forget what her great idea was about.
She is also a self proclaimed pervert, due to her drawing her friends in romantic situations, which often leads to her emotional outbursts.
In Let's Go to the Festival, Hiyori appears in the background for a split second during the scene where two creators attempt to sell their dōjinshi to Konata at Comiket. Hiyori is not fully introduced until To Each Her Own, and does not interact with Konata until Delicate Line.
In To Be Decided, Hiyori's class cultural festival project is a Zuka café featuring Yutaka and a cross-dressed Minami as waitresses. Hiyori also supplies the outfits for the main cast's cheerleading opening act, which were chosen by her brother, allegedly a big fan of cheerleaders.

Honoka appears similar to her daughter Minami; as they both possess mint green hair, blue eyes, and similar features. Like her daughter, Honoka's personality is more reserved compared to her friends (notably, Miyuki's mother, Yukari Takara). However, she doesn't extend to the reservedness her daughter's does. Other than this she seems much like the other mothers known in the series, and as such carries much the same motherly tone present in all of them. Biography
Honoka is the mother in a wealthy family who lives across the street from the Takara Family. She seems to be a stay-at-home mother much like Yukari Takara, however she may have an unspecified occupation. Kō is introduced as a second-year student at Ryōō High School. She enjoys playing anime-themed fighting games, and also likes to check on new and trendy things, never failing to miss one. She has played fighting games with Konata Izumi before (always losing to Konata, so much that Konata has gotten bored of her), and does not notice that Konata is her senior (but she soon noticed her in school). Conversely, Konata never notices Kō until after graduation.
In volume 7, Kō begins her third year and notices a love letter left on her desk before class one day. Matsuri has a slim physique; she has short light brown hair and has hazel color eyes. Matsuri is hot headed and takes things too seriously, similar to Kagami. She also appears to be lazy and only does things when she feels like it. Matsuri appears to put things somewhat bluntly, at least with grades. She tends to be less dependable than Inori when helping their younger twin sisters with school work. According to Kagami, Matsuri borrows things from her sisters and attempts to keep them. Biography

Meito Anizawa (兄沢 命斗 Anizawa Meito), also known as Anime Tenchō, is the manager of the Animate Ikebukuro shop (However, he appeared in the (old) Ōmiya shop and the comic market booth in the anime and appeared in the Akihabara shop in the PS2 Video Game), he was originally the mascot of Animate and Hero of Anime Tenchō. He and his staff consider Konata Izumi their most valued customer, known as "Legendary Girl A" (伝説の少女A ,Densetsu no Shōjo A), and go to great lengths to sell their merchandise to her, often to the point of using espionage and military-style strategies, and at one point, Meito himself uses "Geass" on Konata to persuade her to buy a DVD from him; however when she tries to pay it, she fell short only three yen.
Their attempts usually fail miserably. His appearance is heavily stylized, compared to the other characters, and he is known for his passionate yelling and highly energetic movements and poses, mimicking cliché situations in anime where a character will make exclamations and behave erratically to typically pumping music. He appeared as a special guest during the Lucky Channel segment in episode seventeen, during which he and Minoru parody Mobile Fighter G Gundam's Domon Kasshu, referencing the fact that Meito's voice actor also played the character.
He also appeared in Let's Go to the Festival, fighting against another sales manager (about how valuable "so-called leftovers" can be after they ran out of rare and limited edition "thingies") in a dramatic way. Meito's colleagues at Animate are all similarly enthusiastic about selling their merchandise. In 2002, Gainax produced a single original video animation, where Meito Anizawa and his fellow employees are the focus.

Minami Iwasaki (岩崎 みなみ, Iwasaki Minami) is one of the main characters of Lucky Star. She is a schoolmate of Yutaka Kobayakawa and a childhood friend of Miyuki Takara. She is the stereotypical silent 'kuudere'.
Minami has short, mint-green hair and her eyes are slightly slanted upward, giving them a 'sharp' appearance similar to that of Kagami's eyes. She is very slender and quite tall for her age, yet she is disappointed about her minimal breast size, which Konata frequently comments on. Due to her short hair and lean body structure, Minami has a tendency to look more androgynous than the other Lucky Star characters, a reason why Hiyori Tamura often makes her the "tachi" (male-like role in a yuri couple) of the Minami-Yutaka yuri model.
A very silent girl (usually speaking in as few words as possible) who is very impassive, Minami is often mistaken for being cold, but she is very kind at heart. However, many jokes arise when her seemingly "perfect and sleek" appearance is contradicted, such as when Miyuki's mother notices Minami teaching Cherry how to stand on her hind legs by mimicking the position herself; Minami often blushes heavily and stares at the floor in response to such teasing. With her overall first-impressions, she tends to be mistaken as the "modern-day tsundere" type.
She gets along with Miyuki, since they have similar tastes and lived in the same neighborhood; Minami has often been compared to being Miyuki's "little sister" due to Minami's clingy attraction to her neighbor from when they were younger. In fact, in the Manga Strip Far-sighted Minami ends up calling Miyuki "Onee-chan", an honorary term in Japanese used for when younger siblings are referring to their older sister.
Minami Iwasaki comes from a wealthy family which includes her mother, Honoka Iwasaki, and her father. She also lives across the street from Miyuki. She owns a dog named Cherry which she plays with most of the time and has a parasol in her yard.
Minami first saw Yutaka at the women's restroom feeling sick after taking the Ryoo High School entrance exam, and offered to take her to the nurse. She also lent her handkerchief to Yutaka. Both passed the exam and were grouped into the same first-year class, along with Hiyori Tamura and Patricia Martin.

Minoru Shiraishi (白石 みのる, Shiraishi Minoru) appears in the "Lucky Channel" segment at the end of each Lucky Star episode and is also a minor recurring character, as a member of Konata Izumi's class.
Minoru is the animated version of his voice actor, Minoru Shiraishi, although it is likely that the animated version is only around eighteen years old, due to his being in class 3-B. In one of the early karaoke ending theme sequences, it was revealed that Minoru has a part-time position, working at the karaoke bar Konata and her friends sing at. In the "Lucky Channel" segment, Minoru is Akira Kogami's assistant, who repeatedly gets yelled at (and physically abused) by Akira, if he does or says something not to her liking. Minoru was nicknamed "Sebastian" by Konata one day, because of his likeness to a butler.
After a trip to the forests around Mt. Fuji to get spring water for Akira, Minoru comes back a dirty and torn-up mess, and was more than likely mauled by a bear during his quest. Akira spat out the water onto the camera, threw the rest in his face, and dubbed it was too warm. At that time, Akira made Minoru go berserk, grabbing her roughly by the collar and ranting and raving about how she constantly mistreats him. He then destroys the set, ruining the show. Video Games Appearances
Lucky Star: Ryōō Gakuen Ōtōsai
He appears briefly in Lucky Star: Ryōō Gakuen Ōtōsai, the PlayStation 2 game of Lucky Star in a secret scene, where he is shown to trying to find the spring water in Mt. Fuji before being mauled by a bear.
Lucky Star: Net Idol Meister
Minoru appears as his real self in the game Lucky Star: Net Idol Meister for the Playstation Portable, serving as the instructor for the dance training game in the Internet platform. His two likenesses are rendered and animated in the tradition of Mortal Kombat. Misao Kusakabe (日下部 みさお, Kusakabe Misao) is a childhood friend of Ayano Minegishi since kindergarten, along with Kagami, her fellow classmate. She is a stereotypical 'tomboy' character.
Misao Kusakabe has short, uneven, smoky brown hair with bangs. She has a visible sharp tooth protruding from her mouth. She is a centimeter shorter than Minami. She has tan skin and chocolate brown eyes.
Like all the Lucky Star characters, she has a certain face shape that is slightly chubbier in the cheek area and slightly more 'indented' in the upper area, abnormally large eyes, messy bangs, messy, uneven hair, and fringes that frame her face. Family
Misao lives with her grandmother, grandfather, mother, father and an older brother (who, like Miyuki's "older brother", was only mentioned once or twice, and who is Ayano's boyfriend, according to volume 7). However, none of their names are revealed in either the manga or the anime. Personality
Misao tends to be quite lazy, simple-minded and an outdoor loving tomboy. She is in the track and field club, hates studying, and harbors a love for video games, despite not being particularly talented at them. She is also noisy and a rather clumsy eater. She has tanned skin, slightly slanted eyes, and a small fang in the side of her mouth.
Misao does not seem to be skilled at playing video games, yet plays them purely for fun; she notes on having borrowed many games from various people. In fact, her concept of "play for fun" is so strong that she does not mind losing to Kagami, instead marveling at how well her friend plays and making a loud, congratulatory spectacle. This leaves Kagami with a sense of guilt and bewilderment. At one point, Kagami compared Ayano and Misao to Tsukasa and Konata respectively, Konata and Misao being loud tomboys while Tsukasa and Ayano are quiet girly girls, though Kagami herself is a tomboy with a girly side. Misao initially dislikes Konata, angry at her for "stealing" Kagami away from her group, and often rants about Kagami leaving her group for Konata who she knew for only one to two years. She calls Konata by the name "Chibikko" (ちびっ子, "Chibikko") which is literally used as an equivalent for "midget", and can be literally translated to "a very tiny object", and Misao is nicknamed "Misakichi" (みさきち, "Misakichi") by Konata in Manga (also in the OVA).

Nanako Kuroi (黒井 ななこ, Kuroi Nanako?) or Ms. Kuroi is the world history class teacher at Ryōō High School.
Nanako is the homeroom teacher for Konata Izumi's class and her primary subject is world history. She is more like a friend than their teacher, as she has a lax personality. Consequently, she frequently borrows and exchanges video games with Konata, and is in Konata's guild in the same online game, where she plays as a scout. Still single, she is constantly online, even on Christmas and New Year's Day. When writing on the chalkboard, Nanako is able to become ambidextrous. She loves to watch baseball, and is a big fan of the Chiba Lotte Marines. Also, Nanako speaks in a fake Kansai accent (in the dub, this becomes a Southern U.S. accent).
A running gag within the series is whenever Konata and Nanako are both online together, Nanako tells her to stop slacking off. This extends to within school as well, where Nanako often leaves Konata with a swelling on her head in order to keep her focused in class. She is also completely oblivious to Yui Narumi's marital status, often using Yui as a source of understanding regarding the life of being single.
After Konata's class graduates in volume 6, Nanako becomes the homeroom teacher for Yutaka Kobayakawa's second-year class starting from volume 7 onwards. Appearance
Nanako's physique is average. She has very long, blonde hair, which she ties at the back of her neck, and her eyes are green. She also has a sharp tooth protruding from one corner of her mouth.

GENDER Female AGE 16 STATUS Alive DATE OF BIRTH April 16 BIRTHPLACE United States of America BLOOD TYPE O HEIGHT 168 cm (5 ft, 6 in) JOB Cosplay Cafe Worker FAMILY Unnamed Grandmother Unnamed Father Unnamed Mother Unnamed Younger Sister
Patricia Martin, also known as Patty, is one of the main characters of Lucky Star. She is a first-year transfer student from the United States and a coworker of Konata Izumi. She is the biggest 'genki girl' of all the characters.
Patricia has a slim physique; she has wavy, blonde hair in a pixie cut, and sky blue, down-slanted eyes.
Like Hiyori Tamura, Konata Izumi, and Izumi Wakase, Patricia is an otaku. Patricia loves anime and manga and has learned all her Japanese through them, leading to her having a very unusual Japanese vocabulary. Because of her nationality she has a bit of an accent compared to the other characters.
She tends to make generalizations of Japan and its culture based on otaku culture, even more so than Konata. She claims to enjoy a wide range of Japanese music, however, the only artists she listens to are those who have performed anime theme songs, and only those songs alone. She is extremely bubbly, energetic and lively, and has a high interest in yaoi. Biography
Before the events of the series, Patricia transferred from the United States to live in Japan. During her stay in Japan, she is known to be living alone in her apartment. Patricia works with Konata at the same cosplay cafe and is often seen cosplaying as Mikuru Asahina from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Patricia first meets Tsukasa Hiiragi, Kagami Hiiragi, and Miyuki Takara while performing in the cafe during the episode Ring. After being accepted into Ryōō High School, she became friends with Minami Iwasaki, Hiyori Tamura and Yutaka Kobayakawa.
In To Be Decided, Patricia decides to have the girls do a cheer leading session set to the show's theme song, which hassles the girls between preparations for their class' cultural displays and preparations for the routine. At first, Patricia has a hard time trying to convince her friends and even causes an argument with Kagami, but she bribes Konata with a ticket to an Aya Hirano event, where people could shake hands with her. Konata gets her friends to help out, and even though Kagami is initially against it, she becomes the most enthusiastic of the bunch to do the routine. At the end of the episode, Patricia and the rest of the main cast take place in cheer leading session for the school's cultural festival.

- #30Sōjirō Izumi
Keys: Sōjirō Izumi
GENDER Male AGE 30s STATUS Alive DATE OF BIRTH August 21 BLOOD TYPE O HEIGHT 181cm (5'11") JOB Novelist ALIASES So-kun (by Kanata) FAMILY Kanata Izumi (Wife; deceased) Konata Izumi (Daughter) Yui Narumi (Older Niece) Yutaka Kobayakawa (Younger Niece) Yuki Kobayakawa (Younger Sister)
Sōjirō Izumi (泉 そうじろう, Izumi Sōjirō) is a minor character in the Lucky Star series. He is the father of Konata Izumi and the husband of the late Kanata Izumi. Sojiro and Konata live in their house in the Satte prefecture near Tokyo.
Appearance
Sōjirō is very thin, has unshaven stubble, has a mole under his left eye (which his daughter inherited) and has thick eyebrows. Konata also appears to have inherited her skin tone from him. He always wears loose, traditional Japanese clothing as his work clothes. Personality
Sōjirō loves watching anime and playing video games, which influenced his daughter's interests.
He is "also a lolicon". This appreciation for neoteny may be one factor that caused him to fall in love with Kanata, whom he eventually married. He describes that he likes girls as men normally do, but that he also appreciates younger ones. This means that this attraction is equal or possibly secondary, meaning he does not have a preference for them.
He is allergic to pollen and when he decided to wear goggles and masks as protection from it, Konata sighed that, "Now you look weirder as well". She also frequently reminds him, "Please don't do anything as to be taken away by the cops". Also, he often forgets to lock the door when he is using the toilet, which has left Yutaka with a nasty surprise. Possibly out of respect for Kanata, he tries to exclude his own daughter from the greater brunt of his lolicon tendencies, which means he tends to direct most of that energy towards the Hiiragi twins, and Konata's other friends.
Throughout the show news reports and conversations indicate that young girls in the area are being approached by a strange man, and a running joke in the show involves hints that Sōjirō is in fact the one doing it. The best example of this is the opening, part of which involves Sōjirō spying on two schoolgirls from behind a lamppost. Sōjirō holds a deep love for his wife, Kanata Izumi, who passed away many years before. When Konata asks why Kanata chose to be with Sōjirō (largely as a joke at his erotic personality's expense), Sōjirō points out that he and his wife simply looked past outwards appearances: Kanata loved Sōjirō despite his otaku tendencies, and Sōjirō obviously did not mind that Kanata had an unusual physique and did not share his hobbies. Biography
When Sōjirō was in his twenties, he fell in love with Kanata and eventually got married to her. The two eventually had Konata, sometime later Kanata passed away and Sōjirō had to raise Konata on his own. Unlike the other parents of the cast of series, Sōjirō is seen many times in the series. Mostly, he is seen in the Izumi house either talking to his daughter or playing games. In Energetic Despite Not Being Myself, he is seen at the school's athletic festival attempting to take pictures, but he is taken off the premises for suspicious activity several times. Sōjirō is seen in Various Ways to Spend Christmas Eve, during the episode is seen spending time with Konata and Yui. In Let's Go to the Festival, Konata attempts to find a way to be nice to Sōjirō after she receives a cursed omikuji. A little later in the series Yutaka Kobayakawa, Sōjirō's niece, joins the Izumis in their household. Sōjirō plays a prominent role in the episode The Yonder Here, where Sōjirō discusses to Konata about her mother Kanata and what her life was like. He explains to Konata that he was confident that he loved Kanata and that she loved him back. As he and Konata prepare to take a picture, Kanata joins in with them, but appears as a shadow in the actual picture. Konata and Sōjirō review the picture and are highly shocked and disturbed at the shadow, and fear that they are cursed.

GENDER Female AGE 30s-40s STATUS Alive DATE OF BIRTH March 6 BLOOD TYPE B HEIGHT 164cm (5'5") FAMILY Unnamed Husband Miyuki Takara (Daughter)
Yukari Takara (高良 ゆかり, Takara Yukari) is a minor character in the Lucky Star series. She is the mother of Miyuki Takara.
Yukari's physique is average. She has short pink hair and is about the same height if not shorter than Miyuki. Yukari's hair is short and unlike her daughter, she does not wear eyeglasses. Yukari is often mistaken for Miyuki's "big sister", or even for Miyuki's "daughter", due to her youthfully cuddly appearance. Combined with her cheerful personality and endearing clumsiness, has resulted in her being regarded as moe, a trait not common for anime characters in their thirties. Personality
Yukari tends to be very well-mannered, but can be a bit of a klutz. She is warm and friendly, once talking with a telemarketer for over an hour, and has a mischievous sense of humor. She doesn't like to do household chores, which explains why she isn't very skilled with household items. On one occasion, she thought that a colored candle was a Popsicle. Biography
Most of the time Yukari plays minor roles and she is seen far less often than the other parents in the series. She is only seen when Miyuki speaks to her or in flash backs and when the cast is spending time in the Takara Household.
- #33Lucky Channel
Keys: Lucky Channel
Lucky Channel is a additional small show segment at the end of every Lucky Star episode. The segment is co-hosted by Akira Kogami and her assistant Minoru Shiraishi. The humor of this segment takes on a decidedly darker, mean-spirited, more cynical and mature tone than the main show, disguised as an infomercial that skims over characters who appear in the anime, but mainly deals with the progressively abusive and violent work-relationship between Akira and Minoru.
These are a list of characters from Lucky Channel. Most of the characters that appear on the segment are based off real Japanese stars. The hosts are, Minoru Shiraishi and Akira Kogami, most often Minoru and Akira are in the middle of a nasty fight or argument about something Minoru did wrong only because Akira wants Minoru off the show and for it to end. Eventually Minoru leaves for a while and is replaced with Daisuke Ono. Other guest characters included on the show are Gotouza and Meito Anizawa.
