- #1Sith Swords/Sith Daggers/Sith Warblades
Keys: Sith Sword's, Sith dagger, Sith daggers, Sith warblade, Sith Warblades, Sith Warblade's, Sith Sword, Sith Swords, Sith dagger's
Sith swords, or Sith warblades and Sith daggers, were melee weapons used by the Sith in the days of the Sith Empire, from 6900 BBY to approximately 5000 BBY. Though similar to the bladed weapons utilized by the ancient Jedi, Sith swords were distinguished from Jedi katanas by their fundamental nature—both powered by and empowering the dark side of the Force. Sith swords were constructed through various metallurgical and arcane means, transmuting base metals into an alchemical alloy possessing an unusual affinity for dark side energies. The resulting rare metallic compounds used in its construction could result in blades varying in weight from 3 kilograms up to 6.5 kilograms. It often requires great strength of body as well as in the Force to successfully wield the weapon and make it as dangerous as a lightsaber. In fact, the alchemical alterations allowed the Sith sword to block incoming lightsaber attacks, as well as deflect and redirect blaster bolts in much the same way a lightsaber did. A user skilled in the dark side could alter the weapon's molecular structure, making it stronger and sharper, and reverse its magnetic polarity, turning it into a high-temperature superconductor that could deflect blaster bolts and other particle weapons as if magnetically sealed. The ores used in its construction resisted lightsabers in much the same manner as cortosis and Phrik alloy, while its polished surface reflected laser beams and other coherent light weapons like a mirror. But perhaps most significantly, the weapon served as a focus for the dark energies of its wielder, amplifying their power and refining their control until they became a walking nexus of dark side power.
- #2Sith Talismans/Sith Amulets
Keys: Sith Amulet's, Sith Amulets, Sith Talismans, Sith Talisman's, Sith Talisman, Sith Amulet
A Sith talisman, sometimes known as a Sith amulet, was a powerful Sith artifact used to amplify the effects of Sith sorcery. Sith amulets resembled jewelry, and were usually worn around the neck or hand in a medallion or gauntlet style respectively. These "baubles" were used by Sith Lords to channel immense dark side power. Sith amulets could grant the wielder the ability to read and understand ancient Sith text. In combat, Sith amulets were capable of channeling dark side power into beams of lethal energy to be blasted outwards from the wielder's hand. Some amulets were protective, such as talismans which could repel weapons fire, Force effects, or even lightsabers depending on the focus and strength of the wearer. Some could be used to heal grave wounds. Also, some Sith amulets could generate images like a holoprojector.
- #3Muur Talisman
Keys: , Muur Talisman, Muur Talisman's
The Muur Talisman was the first of the three Great Amulets created by the Sith Lord Sorzus Syn. Designed for her fellow Lord Karness Muur, the Talisman had the ability to turn other beings into mindless thralls that were at the possessor's command. It was a powerful object of great antiquity and was mentioned in many Sith holocrons dating from before the Golden Age of the Sith. Through use of dark side alchemy, any non-Force-sensitive that was struck by the Talisman became infected with the rakghoul plague and transformed more quickly than from rakghoul bites in the Under City of Taris. In addition to that under the command by a Force-user the Talisman could transform into rakghouls all suitable beings in much wider radius. The power of the Talisman also allowed its claws to become legs for mobility and bound itself to anyone who called to it. The Talisman also stopped all aging in its host. But the greatest secret concerning the Talisman was that it housed the spirit of Karness Muur, who could speak to nearby Force-sensitives and appear as an apparition to whomever was possessed by the Talisman.
- #4Dreypa Talisman
Keys: Dreypa Talisman, Dreypa Talisman's
The Muur Talisman was the second of the three Great Amulets created by the Sith Lord Sorzus Syn. Designed for her fellow Lord Remulus Dreypa, the Talisman had the ability to turn other beings into mindless thralls that were at the possessor's command. It was a powerful object of great antiquity and was mentioned in many Sith holocrons dating from before the Golden Age of the Sith. Through use of dark side alchemy, the power of the amulet allowed the host to control Leviathans. The power of the Talisman also allowed its claws to become legs for mobility and bound itself to anyone who called to it. The Talisman also stopped all aging in its host. But the greatest secret concerning the Talisman was that it housed the spirit of Remulus Dreypa, who could speak to nearby Force-sensitives and appear as an apparition to whomever was possessed by the Talisman.
- #5Syn Talisman
Keys: Syn Talisman, Syn Talisman's
The Syn Talisman was a Sith amulet the Jen'jidai Sorzus Syn had allegedly intended to create in the years following the arrival of the Dark Jedi Exiles to Korriban. Similar in form to the Muur Talisman and Dreypa Talisman, the Syn Talisman was intended to be the most powerful of the three Sith amulets created by Syn. Though mentioned in passing in the pages of the Chronicle of Sorzus Syn, the details surrounding the Syn Talisman were largely unknown to later generations of Force users.
