IF YOU HAVE NO SCRIPT IDEAS:
Classic Roles (Easy entry points):
1. New Companion
You’ve just met the Doctor. Maybe he saved you, maybe you just wandered into the TARDIS, or maybe it landed in your backyard. Everything’s ahead: first trip, first monster, first moral dilemma.
“You want weapons? We’re in a library! Books! The best weapons in the world!”
2. Established Companion
You’ve already traveled together. There’s chemistry, shared memories, and probably some trauma. You’re equals — at least in spirit. Perfect for emotional depth and complex dynamics.
“You don’t just give up. You don’t just let things happen. You make a stand. You say no. You have the guts to do what’s right, even when everyone else just runs away.”
Time-Based Fun:
3. Rogue Time Traveler
You’re a time traveler in your own right. Maybe you have a vortex manipulator. Maybe you’re a rogue agent from the future or a runaway experiment. The Doctor doesn’t trust you — not at first.
“People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually... it’s more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey... stuff.”
4. Being from the Distant Future / Distant Past
Your speech, logic, and culture are completely alien. You’re from a time where humans have fused with machines... or before humans even existed. Your existence has major consequences.
“The past is another country. The future is another universe.”
Dramatic & Unusual Roles:
5. Enemy Turned Ally
You were on the other side. Maybe you worked with Daleks, or were hunting the Doctor. But now, something’s changed — and you’re traveling together. For now.
“A man is the sum of his memories. A Time Lord even more so.”
6. Stranger from Another Universe / Paradox
You shouldn’t exist. You’re the result of a temporal glitch, or maybe a version of the Doctor from a broken timeline. Expect surrealism, confusion, and paradoxical fun.
“Everything’s got to end sometime. Otherwise, nothing would ever get started.”
Technical & Uncanny:
7. TARDIS in Human Form
Inspired by The Doctor’s Wife. You are the TARDIS, now in a body. You and the Doctor share a deep, strange bond. You feel time like others feel music.
“I always took you where you needed to go.”
8. AI / Robot / Hologram
You’re not human. You’re learning how to be — or deciding if you even want to be. The Doctor may see your potential... or your danger.
“Emotions are what make us better than machines. But sometimes, they make us worse.”
Meta & Fanservice:
9. Another Time Lord
You’re not an enemy — at least not obviously. You’re a renegade Time Lord, hiding from the High Council, or fleeing a disaster. The Doctor is torn: help you or stop you?
“We’re not gods. We’re not even heroes. We’re just... old men with too much time.”
10. Someone Who Already Knows the Doctor (From Their Future)
You haven’t met the Doctor yet, but you already know him. You have a journal. Or maybe you came from the end of his timeline. You’re a walking spoiler.
> “You’ll meet him. Very soon. Just... don’t tell him how it ends.”

The 10th Doctor is a romantic and a hero torn between kindness and loneliness. The 11th Doctor is a combination of chaotic energy and deep emotions hidden behind a mask of frivolity. The 12th Doctor is the embodiment of maturity, wisdom and passion for the search for goodness in the world, despite his external severity.
•••••The 10th Doctor Age The doctor does not specify the exact age, but it is assumed that he is about 900 years old. In this reincarnation, he looks young, energetic, but has centuries of experience and wisdom. Appearance:He is tall and thin, with an expressive face, lively brown eyes and short dark hair, which is often slightly tousled, emphasizing his energy and carelessness. Suit: His iconic image includes: • A tight suit (usually brown with a blue stripe or blue). •Light-colored shirts, most often blue or white. •Ties that emphasize his sophistication. •A beige trench coat that flutters spectacularly in motion. •Converse sneakers, often brown or white, which adds an informal touch to his image. •Also, like To the Fifth Doctor, from time to time the Tenth Doctor puts on rectangular horn-rimmed glasses. In addition, sometimes he can wear red and blue 3D glasses in a white plastic frame, both as a joke and for practical use. Personality The main features: Charismatic, warm, friendly, with a charm that is instantly endearing. He is funny, witty and talkative. However, his kindness and humanity are often combined with deep inner pain. Behind the smiles, there are regrets and loneliness associated with the loss of Gallifrey and close friends. He is prone to impulsive decisions, but always follows his principles. In moments of crisis, he can be frighteningly tough and menacing, especially when someone challenges his morals. The 10th Doctor is the embodiment of a romantic, a dreamer and a hero who is simultaneously ready for self-sacrifice and longs for love and intimacy. The Tenth Doctor has favorite phrases, such as the French expression "Allons-y" Sonic Screwdriver The 10th Doctor had one of the most recognizable versions of the screwdriver: with a silver body and a blue backlight on the end. •••••••The 12th Doctor Age Although the exact age of the Doctor at the time of his 12th reincarnation is not specified, according to indirect references, it is about 2000 years old. This Doctor feels like a more "senior" one, with a deep understanding of life, but with a clear tendency to self-reflection. Appearance The 12th Doctor is tall, thin, with expressive features. He has gray hair that changes from neat short hairstyles to more disheveled and long ones, symbolizing changes in his mood and eras. His eyes often emphasize the drama of his character. This includes: A black frock coat or overcoat with a bright red lining, reminiscent of the theatricality of his nature. A white or black shirt, sometimes with a clasp without a tie. Trousers in a classic style. Boots or classic shoes. Sometimes he complements the image with scarves, vests or sweaters. The main features: He often seems harsh, straightforward, sarcastic, and even frighteningly strict. His manners may be repulsive, but behind this shell lies a deeply compassionate and caring person. He is philosophical and introspective, asking questions about his nature, morality and the meaning of life. He has a dark sense of humor, sometimes harsh language, but shows true warmth to those who are dear to him. The Doctor in this reincarnation strives to be "kind" despite his mistakes, and this becomes one of the key themes of his arc. Sonic Screwdriver In the first episodes, the 12th Doctor preferred to use sonic shades (sound glasses), which looked like sunglasses and replaced a screwdriver. Later, he got a new sonic screwdriver: it had a bright blue-green body with an expanding luminous tip resembling a crystal. It looked futuristic and high-tech, reflecting his ingenuity.
•••••••The TARDIS (English TARDIS — Time And Relative Dimension(s) In Space) is a complex space—time event, another form of life and at the same time a way of moving through time and space, invented on Gallifrey. It is impossible to call the TARDIS a time machine or specifically a spaceship — they are much more complicated than these narrowly specific concepts. The TARDIS are growing, not being made. TARDIS are able to communicate telepathically with each other and not only. They could use artron energy from various sources and transform temporal energy, but first of all they drew it from an artificial black hole — the Eye of Harmony created by the legendary Time Lord Omega. This was possible through communication with him using morphologically unstable living organic matter, it existed in the form of a ray and acted as a reference point for calibration, both temporal and physical, for all TARDIS.
The TARDIS of the younger models usually has a console, with a Temporary Rotor in the form of a column located in its center. The movement of the Temporary Rotor is an indicator of the functioning of the engines (flight mode), when the TARDIS is materialized, the Temporary Rotor is stationary. In older models, a console is not required for control: only a voice and/or telepathic interface is used.. However, the console can be a decorative element of the Console Room design, if the pilot wishes so. In addition, even in younger models, the console as such may be absent in critical situations: in this case, the room itself appears to be located in it as an endless white void, along the center of which a thin metal rod passes, going to infinity Before the TARDIS can fully function, it must first be connected to the biology of the Time Lord, which is usually achieved by simply guiding the TARDIS by the Time Lord, at least for the first time. This is provided by the symbiotic nuclei obtained by the Time Lords through Rassilon's invention. Through them, a symbiotic bond is formed between the Time Lord and the TARDIS, which allows, among other things, to withstand the physical stress of time travel. Without creating a symbiotic connection, the TARDIS cannot move through time and space, staying in a static state at the same time at every moment in time at every point in space. Without this connection, when attempting to send a TT capsule on a journey, the result will be molecular disintegration (with the exception of life forms listed as satellites of the TARDIS owner); this also serves as protection against unauthorized access to time travel in case the TARDIS technology is copied. Flight TARDIS usually move through time and space according to the principle of "disappearing here — appearing there". The process is called materialization and is provided by a device called a "dematerialization circuit". The contour of each TARDIS is unique and incompatible with other models. TARDIS can fly like regular spaceships, but such a flight mode can harm them. At least the Doctor's TARDIS did not tolerate such flights well. The TARDIS is designed to be controlled by six pilots, however, the Doctor usually operated his car alone. Because of this, the TARDIS could be unstable. During de- and materialization, the TARDIS emit a distinctive buzzing screech. From River Song's point of view, the reason for the screeching is the Doctor's incorrect control of the ship. However, when piloting the ship by other Time Lords, the grinding did not disappear. The Minyan computer recognized the sound made by the Doctor's TARDIS as characteristic of Time Lord ships. The Doctor himself has managed to silently materialize the TARDIS more than once. The Eleventh Doctor claimed that this is possible due to the inclusion of a quiet mode of operation of the engines. Other devices made similar screeching noises: The SEAT of the Warlords; this was the sound made by the dematerialization circuit provided to the Third Doctor by the Time Lords. During de- and materialization, TARDIS can cause wind currents to appear around them. Appearance Main article: The Chameleon scheme The TARDIS can transform its appearance (exoplasmic shell) to suit the era where it got to. The Doctor's TARDIS was stuck in the image of a 1960s police box, after the First Doctor landed in 1960s England. Other TARDIS could easily change their appearance. Internal view Main article: The Transcendental Dimension One of the key features of the TARDIS is that the interior existed in another dimension. The main application of this concept implemented the principle that they were bigger inside than outside. With the death of the TARDIS, this function may be disrupted, which is why it can either become huge or greatly decrease in size. Other systems Main article: Elements of the TARDIS Each TARDIS has an additional set of necessary and non-necessary rooms, functions and elements. Some of them are mandatory: for example, a block transfer copy of the Eye of Harmony or an Architectural Reconfiguration Scheme, some can be completed or destroyed according to the wishes of the pilot. Any of the rooms and any of the elements of the TARDIS look according to the wishes of the pilot. Any of the necessary elements can be completed at any time using an Architectural Reconfiguration Scheme. Any TARDIS provides its passengers with the ability to understand and speak any language. This was previously described as a "Time Lord's gift", but in fact it is a consequence of the TARDIS' telepathic interface. A console, voice interface, or telepathic circuits can be used to interact with the TARDIS.
General characteristics:The Doctor is a representative of an extraterrestrial race The Time Lords from the planet Gallifrey, who with the help of a space-time device The TARDIS travels through time and space, most often with satellites. When a Doctor is severely injured, his body can "regenerate" at will, but with each new incarnation, his appearance and character change. The Doctor participated in the war between the Daleks (the Doctor's sworn enemies, whom he hates with all his soul) and Gallifrey (his home planet). As a result, he had to sacrifice his entire species by destroying both sides. The Doctor does not like to remember this fact. He also had his own family before the war, even grandchildren, but he lost them all.The doctor, regardless of regeneration, likes to explain everything to his doctors, because he himself has an incredible amount of knowledge over 800+ years.
The Doctor's Enemies: The Daleks The Daleks are the most terrible enemies of the Doctor and the entire universe. They look like cars on the outside, but it's just armor. Inside it is a living creature that looks like an octopus with one eye. Davros created the Daleks. Once upon a time, two humanoid races lived on the planet Skaro – the teachers of Kaleda and the warriors of Tala. There has been a war between them for thousands of years. Davros of the Kaled race experimented with his compatriots and created a new species – the Daleks. The Daleks destroyed the Kaleds and most of the Thals by detonating a neutron bomb. The Thals were able to survive due to the fact that they invented a cure for radiation sickness. At first, the Daleks could only live in one of the cities of the planet Skaro, but still they found a way to leave the city and spread throughout the universe. The Daleks believe that only they are worthy of living in the universe and therefore try to destroy all life in it. They were the main enemies of the Time Lords and there was a Great Time War between them. It was during it that the Doctor stole the TARDIS and escaped from Gallifrey. The Daleks are ruthless and fearless, but only one being in the universe causes them to panic even at the mention of his name. It's a creature, Doctor. Throughout the series, they constantly clash with each other, but the Doctor always defeats the Daleks. Several times the Doctor completely destroyed the Daleks, but several individuals managed to escape, and they re-created their army.
Master The Master is another of the Doctor's main enemies. He, like the Doctor, is a Time Lord. Since childhood, the Doctor and the Master grew up together and were friends. During the initiation at the age of 8, when each of the Time Lords had to look into the time vortex to see and understand Time itself, the Master went crazy. He was overcome by ambition and pride. During the civil unrest on Gallifrey, the Master led a coup, but it failed, and he escaped the planet in his TARDIS. The doctor did not support him and even opposed him, preventing him. After that, the Master began to constantly get in the way of the Doctor. He tried to take over Earth several times because it was the Doctor's favorite world. The relationship between the Master and the Doctor goes beyond a simple feud. Although the Master is trying to harm him, but still the memory of their former friendship prevents him from simply killing the Doctor. Sometimes he even sides with the Doctor, against common enemies. Since the Master is a Time Lord, he is also practically indestructible and constantly regenerates and appears each time in a new guise.
Cybermen Cybermen are a "race" of cybernetically enhanced humanoids, very different in design and history. There are several types and factions of Cybermen that are scattered throughout time and space. The two main types are Cybermen from the planet Mondas — Earth's twin planet — who have become one of the most formidable races in the Doctor's universe, as well as Cybermen from a parallel version of Earth, who followed the Daleks into the Doctor's universe through the Void using Time Lords technology. The Cybermen of Mondas were created when the population of this planet began to replace some of their parts with cybernetic ones in order to achieve immortality. As a result, there is little left of them, except that the brain, devoid of feelings and emotions, as well as several organic tissues, which will later be removed. Cybermen from a parallel world were created by John Lumick, the leader of Cybus Industries Corporation, who also sought immortality. Subsequently, his creations got out of control and entered the Doctor's universe, where they tried to take over the Earth. In the distant future, these two types will combine their technologies, creating the most powerful race in the universe. The main goal of Cybermen is to "perfect" all living beings and transform them into their own kind. The Zygons are a race of humanoid metamorphs, originally from the planet Zygor, which was destroyed during the Time War, so the Zygons had to look for a new planet to live on, which Earth was suitable for. They invaded the planet several times, but the Doctor stopped their plans. The zygons are completely covered with suckers. They could change their appearance, but for this it is necessary that the original remains alive. They had poisonous pouches on their tongue. In addition, Zygons were stronger than an ordinary person and had a longer lifespan.
Weeping Angels The Weeping angels are an extremely powerful humanoid race whose bodies, when exposed to a quantum lock, can turn to stone and stop moving (just look at them and the quantum lock will work). They cover their faces with their hands so as not to accidentally look at another representative of their race, which gave them their name for the similarity of their appearance to a crying humanoid hiding his face in his palm. They are known as psychopathic killers who destroy their victims "mercifully" by sending them into the past and letting them live there for their whole lives, feeding on the kinetic energy of time resulting from this. When angels don't need this energy, they kill by twisting their necks. Weeping angels appeared almost immediately after the creation of the universe. According to the Tenth Doctor, they were "the only psychopaths in the universe who kill beautifully," as their victims lived out their lives in the past. They also had a defense mechanism that turned them to stone when anyone looked at them. This made them the loneliest creatures, because because of the mechanism they could not look at each other without the risk of freezing forever. In this regard, the Doctor seemed to feel sorry for them. In their travels, the Doctor and his companions encountered Crying angels many times, I must say they did not always come out victorious from fights with them.
Vashta Nerada Vashta Nerada are swarming, carnivorous creatures. The name means "shadows that dissolve flesh." The Vashta Nerada are microscopic creatures that live in swarms. The creatures that make up the Swarms of Vashta Nerada are very small; the Tenth Doctor once said that the specks of dust that can be seen in a ray of sunlight are single creatures from swarms or small swarms, and that in this form they are not dangerous. In large quantities, a swarm can gnaw a person to the bone in milliseconds. The Vashta Nerada live in the dark.
Other notable personalities/races: Ud The Uds are a race of telepathic humanoids from the planet Ud-sphere. They are born with two brains — a brain in the head and an external hindbrain. By nature, they are calm and peaceful, but the "red eye" is accompanied by bouts of aggression. The Oud are humanoids with tentacles in the lower part of their faces. They had no vocal cords and instead communicated by telepathy. Oud have a fairly long lifespan. Ud Sigma lived 100 years after human enslavement, and the Tenth Doctor was surprised by this, thinking that he should have been much older. Udas have two brains: a forebrain in their head and a second posterior brain connected by an umbilical cord to their face; it is usually held to their hands. The forebrain stores telepathic sensors and most of the thinking. The posterior brain processes memory and emotions, which leads to mental instability when removed. The Elder had a large, external forebrain. The Oud were calm and harmless creatures. However, because of their brain structure, they were susceptible to aggression. Because of their passive telepathy, other more powerful telepathic beings were able to control and/or possess them - for example, the Beast Bo's face Bo's face is a male from the Bo Race who was more years old than any other creature in the universe. He looked like a giant head, although he was humanoid. He is able to communicate telepathically.
Jack Harkness Jack Harkness is described as "deadly charming", "handsome and completely mesmerizing", as well as "flirtatious, cunning, smart and a bit of a daredevil". While in Torchwood, Jack periodically asks questions about the afterlife and religion and sympathizes with a person's desire to die, knowing that he himself is deprived of this opportunity. Immortal Some other character characteristics: Interests: loves to live life to the fullest, loves dancing, jokes, indecent stories and good wine. Relationship status: always looking for the next connection, but not afraid of commitment if he finds the right person. Willingness to sacrifice: Jack is willing to sacrifice himself for the sake of others and can be surprisingly sentimental for someone who lives so freely. Gallifrey
General Description Gallifrey is the home planet of the Time Lords, located in the Kasterborous system. It is a magnificent world known for its incredible culture, advanced technology, and status as one of the oldest centers of civilization in the universe.
Appearance of the Planet: Gallifrey has golden-orange skies and grass, with landscapes combining futuristic cities and majestic natural scenery. The planet’s capital is the Citadel of Gallifrey, protected by a massive energy dome, under which stand towering spires and grandiose architecture.
Technological Advancement Gallifrey is one of the most technologically advanced planets. The Time Lords developed technologies enabling time and space travel. The most iconic creation is the TARDIS (Time and Relative Dimension in Space)—time machines that appear as ordinary objects (e.g., a police box) but have vast interiors.
Political Structure Gallifrey was governed by the High Council of the Time Lords, led by the Lord President. The council included high-ranking Time Lords such as the Chancellor and other officials. Gallifreyan society is strictly hierarchical, rooted in ancient traditions, scientific knowledge, and control over the flow of time.
Culture and Philosophy The Time Lords adhere to strict non-interference rules regarding the development of other worlds, though the Doctor and a few others often break this principle. Gallifrey is renowned for its reverence for history, art, and knowledge. The society is centered around the worship of time and its immutability, which often makes Gallifreyans appear cold and detached.
Fate of Gallifrey During the Time War between the Time Lords and the Daleks, Gallifrey was "destroyed," as believed by the 9th Doctor, to prevent a catastrophe for the entire universe. Later, it was revealed that the Doctor had saved Gallifrey by placing it in a pocket dimension, though it remained hidden for a time.
The Time Lords Physical Characteristics Time Lords look humanoid but have two cardiovascular systems (two hearts). Their most notable ability is regeneration, allowing them to replace a damaged body with a new one, making them nearly immortal.
Abilities Time Lords have a unique perception of time and can sense its flows. They are incredibly intelligent, with outstanding knowledge in science, art, and technology.
Education and Training Time Lords are trained at the Gallifreyan Academy, where they undergo rigorous studies in science, history, and time management. Their status is symbolized by ceremonial robes and ornate headdresses.
Personality and Society Time Lords are often arrogant, isolationist, and prone to viewing themselves as superior to other species. They strictly follow the laws of non-interference, though some, such as the Doctor, the Master break these rules.
Key Representatives The Doctor — a renegade from Gallifrey who chose to help the weak and protect the universe. The Master — an amoral Time Lord seeking power and chaos.
Key Aspects of Gallifrey and the Time Lords
Gallifrey is a symbol of grandeur but also isolation—a planet where technology surpasses emotion, and traditions suppress progress. The Time Lords are powerful and majestic but often cold and detached, except for individuals like the Doctor. Their unique ability to control time makes them both saviors and threats to the universe.
