Rant time for Subspace!! Guys did you know I like Subspace?? Did you?? And now I get to talk about the Blackrock situation1!! !I'm so happy also sorry if my rants are unorganized I'm trying here.

Soo, as we all know, the korblox administration is the faction most if not all Blackrock inphernals are spawned in. It's a very hostile and competitive environment, and inphernals are enrolled and put to work based on their gear the moment they spawned. It's no wonder how Subspace turned out the way he is. That hostile environment is the breeding ground for some serious issues, especially since scientists are highly valued in the administration, so he's seen as 'better' than other inphernals. I also think it's incredible how Biografts are most of Blackrock's population. This begs the question- since bios are war machines, but they somehow count as population, do they take breaks? Do they walk around Blackrock just because?? Do they have cute little teaparties together? I know they're not sentient but I NEED TO KNOW. Also I think it's so incredible how Subspace was able to basically create another lifeform. He WILL be getting glazed by me idgaf.

I know that Blackrock inphernals have thicker skin to help against the cold, but is it like fur? Maybe blubber? Also the season names are PEAKK. My favorite one is Newlume it's very fun to say. I don't have much to say about the seasons, but I really wanna know all of the culture, ALL OF IT. I will spend three hours reading everything I can once new Crossroads comes out... have to learn about the huzz's culture to impress him..

Okay now rambling about fan animations! I've been holding back on this for a while. The one I'm gonna be talking about is I MISS THE QUIET. [ PHIGHTING SUBSPACE PMV ] by Saltsour on youtube. I just wanna take a moment to gush about the outfit he wears. The suit is PERFECTION. The tie- oml I'm in love with his tie. It's so simple, yet so perfect. The white suit is drawn so angular, and the hat is beautiful. His horns, oozing this black stuff outta them- AUHUDBOSBNEA. I headcannon it to be a symptom of "the rot" and I draw him with it EVERY. TIME. IT'S SO PERFECT YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW. The hair is perfect, the perfect balance of white, black, and pink. The tail.. the little triangles that are supposed to be belt loops on his pants.. I'm gonna tweak. It's so perfect. Everything is so good. THE HEELS ARE SO PERFECT. It provides that STYLE Subspace has. He is a very stylish inphernal. The one glove he wears is AMAZING. My only gripe is that the glove should be on his right, not his left, but that's just me being bitchy. There's something about this Butcher Vanity esque style that just.. scratches my brain right. The pink on black on white. It's so peakkkkkkk....

Anyways, the actual video. The vibe it gives is SO. SUBSPACE. Like, the song is perfect for him. In the beginning, you see the flashes of both his and Medkit's crystals, on beat, of course. then the camera pans down to show Sub in that KILLER OUTFIT. The platform he's standing on has pink falling stars, which I think might be a reference to his m2. You see him hunched over, stepping into the beat, then he stares into the camera creepily for just a second, the music kicking uppp... Then the chorus stars. And he dances. it's so good. IT'S SO GOOD. Every pose exaggerated, YES I KNOW ITS THE TREND. But look... he's so sassy.. it's amazing. Then it goes black and white for a moment, and he snaps the scene back into color, back into another verse of the song. Like he's in control of this pmv. It's so good. I'm fucking tweaking. Then he sings "I'll turn you all into a martyr" and the screen goes almost completely pink. I'm on the edge of my seat. The chorus starts again, except he's broken the mold of his pink shadow, or is he snapping into each pink pose? BOTH IS CORRECT IF YOU THIKN ABOUT IT! The glitched versions on either side of him like backup dancers as Prince of egypt plays alongside the song. As soon as he sings "yes I dooo", most of the effects pause for a moment, but they appear again. The pink shadow is more transparent than before. They continue to move, the shadow, the background dancers, but subspace himself has stopped. And for 30-40 seconds, he just stares into the camera. Creepily. At YOU. It's chilling. Thrilling. The type of scary and inphernal like him is supposed to invoke. And I'm loving every second of it.

And then you see the blackrock symbol flash on beat behind him. At this point I'm shaking in excitement and Omg it's the best thing i've ever watched. And then THE PART HAPPENS. For a moment, the Blackrock incident flashes on screen. Both subspace and Medkit look distraught. This is what I love about this pmv. It doesn't portray subspace as some malevolent force who decided "oh I'm gonna rip out Medkit's eye today!! Teehee". NO. It affected BOTH of them. No complete auditorial overstimulation is happening, as well as visual. And I'm loving it so much. And it turns black and white again. But this time, all the visual noise is gone. Even the falling stars on the platform. And he dances. And I'm loving it. And then once the song is done, you hear the exploding subspace tripmine noise, and it cuts to him bowing, with camera flashes. HE PUT ON A SHOW. AND I'M LOVING IT SO FUCKING MUCH.

Someone commented, "all the biografts coming to watch their creator do their silly dance every saturday" and I can see it. I WANT TO BE AT THAT SHOW, FRONT SEAT, SCREAMING MY LUGNS OUT. I LOVE THIS PMV SO MUCH ITS SO RARE TO SEE SOMEONE CHARACTERIZE HIM RIGHT AND I LOVE IT I LOVE ITTT
