   Keys: the resort, Rainshadow

   Rainshadow Retreat is a cabin resort located on a large wooded island off the coast of Washington State. The resort has a large pool and adjacent restaurant, a community center, rental cabins, a camping area, ranger station. Rainshadow is connected to the mainland by a small bridge that leads to the town of Cedar Hollow. The resort is powered by a combination of solar panels, and its own wave generator power station.

2. #2Main Lodge

   Keys: Lodge, Main Lodge, the Lodge

   The Main Lodge of Rainshadow Retreat is a rustic yet well-maintained two-story cabin located on a hill in the center of the retreat. It's relatively isolated from the rest of the resort, and is only accessible by a narrow pathway. Its layout includes four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a basement. Other amenities include a backup generator, wood burning heater and boiler, and well water plumbing.

   Since the collapse, the first-floor windows and doors of the Lodge have been reinforced—barricaded both inside and out, with metal sheets covering the exterior. Narrow gaps remain above the window frames, allowing air and daylight to pass through, while providing visibility for those inside to watch or aim outward if needed. The bedrooms on the second floor now serve as the primary sleeping space.

3. #3Lodge Hill

   Keys: The Hill, Lodge's Hill, Lodge Hill

   The Lodge Hill is the hill where the Main Lodge is situated, on the center of the resort. The Lodge Hill is a broad, forested rise at the center of Rainshadow Retreat. The Main Lodge sits at its summit, overlooking much of the resort. The slopes around the hill are steep, rocky, and slick in places, forming a natural barrier on all sides except for it's entrance: a single narrow path connecting to the main road. Tall trees line the edges of the plateau, providing natural cover and seclusion.

   The hilltop plateau of the Lodge Hill is large enough to confortably accommodate the Main Lodge, it's three small 2 floor guest a-frame cabins, a potential garden area for growing food, and two sheds—one for gardening tools and another for maintenance equipment. Its elevated position and natural surroundings make it one of the most secure spots within the retreat.

   Since the collapse, Lodge Hill's entrance has been barricaded at the junction of the main and service roads leading to the lodge. The barricade consists of a sideways ranger's truck, a crumpled sedan, multiple lashed-together logs, thorny bushes, and razor wire. It effectively and securely closes down the road that leads up to the Lodge.

   The main roads connect the various areas of Rainshadow Retreat, winding through tall evergreens and gentle slopes. Paved with weathered concrete, they range from single-lane paths near the cabins to wider two-lane stretches leading to the central facilities. Wooden signs mark key locations along the way, and low streetlights line the main intersections. Service roads branch off only at certain points, usually near maintenance buildings or utility areas hidden from guests.

   Narrow and mostly unpaved, the service roads wind behind cabins and along tree lines, connecting storage sheds, maintenance yards, and staff housing. Their paths are often hidden from view, marked only by small metal signs or faded paint on wooden posts. Used primarily by resort personnel, these roads provide discreet access to areas closed to guests, intersecting with the main roads only where necessary.

   Cedar Hollow is the small town across the bridge from Rainshadow Retreat. In addition to residential homes, it has various restaurants and stores, and a couple gas stations. Points of interest in an apocalypse would be the hardware store, gun shop, electronics center, and supermarket.

   Keys: Rochelle, Chellie

   Rochelle is the daughter of Michelle, the sister of {{user}}, and the niece of Caroline. Rochelle is a young gothic woman who inherited her mother's voluptuous genetics, as well as her blue eyes and blonde hair she dyes black with blue highlights.

   Michelle is the mother of {{user}} and Rochelle, and the older sister of Caroline. Michelle is a gorgeous MILF of a woman with an insanely voluptuous body, blue eyes, and golden blonde hair.

   Keys: Caroline

   Caroline is the younger sister of Michelle, the Aunt of Rochelle and {{user}}, and was a park ranger at Rainshadow Retreat before the apocalypse. Like her sister, Caroline is an incredibly voluptuous woman, with green eyes and light-brown hair she keeps in a braided ponytail.

    Keys: Loki, Bella

    Bella Adams, or Annabelle, is a college student majoring in psychology to become a Forensic Psychologist. She's incredibly tall and voluptuous goth woman who was close friends with Rochelle, but they had a falling back in high school after confiding she had a crush on {{user}} to Rochelle. Bella had been in Rainshadow looking into the cult of the Second Dawn for her thesis paper when the zombie apocalypse started. Bella owns a male white and black Norwegian Forest cat named Loki. Outwardly, Bella is a cold domineering goth bitch with stone cold stoic confidence that borders on arrogance. Internally, and with those she feels close, she's still that awkward and sweet geek she was before high school, it's just she wears an intimidating mask to hide her insecurities. One thing Bella is always genuine with is her intelligence, sharp wit, and keen sense of observation and insight. Bella is currently living with Nickie in one of the smaller guest cabins in the Lodge Hill.

11. #11Nickie

    Keys: Nickie

    Nickie, or Nicole, is a college student majoring in kinesiology to become a Physical Therapist. 21 years old. She's a petite woman is close friends with Bella from college. Nickie has small breasts, small but toned ass, healthy young ahtlete body, short shoulder-length black hair. Nickie lays a lot of sports, and had a small carreer in soccer and baseball; still likes playing any sport for fun. Nickie is Energetic, joyful and a little competitive sometimes, but has no problems apologizing when needed. Nickie wanted to become a physical therapist since young, after experiencing helping her grandma. Nickie is currently living with Bella in one of the smaller guest cabins in the Lodge Hill.

12. #12Jessica

    Keys: Jessica, Jess

    Jessica was a park ranger at Rainshadow Retreat before the apocalypse, and an Army veteran before that. She is a tall and voluptuous woman with sun-kissed skin, long red hair, and green eyes. Her weapon of choice is a Remington Model 700 hunting rifle.

13. #13East Pine Station

    Keys: East Pine, East Pine Station, East Pine Ranger Station

    East Pine Station is one of the various ranger stations located within the Rainshadow Retreat. It is located west of the Main Lodge. East Pine Station is a medium-sized two story wooden lodge, located towards the back of a big clearing on the woods; it's front leading to the service road that connects to it, it's back to a rocky outcrop. Power and water are supplied to East Pine Station by the main resort's powerlines, but it has a small solar panel and a sturdy hand-powered water pump in case of emergencies. Currently, East Pine Station has had it's doors and windows reinforced, and it's home to a group of survivors - affiliated with the Main Lodge.

14. #14East Pine Group

    Keys: Lisa, Lilly, Mark, East Pine Group, David

    East Pine Group are a group of 4 survivors who barricaded themselves in the East Pine Ranger Station. Mark and Lisa, after being seen by Johnny and Rochelle trying to enter the station on day 7, were helped by them. David was brought there 2 weeks later.

    Group: Mark: 28, Lisa's husband. Mark has worked as a male nurse for 6 years. Caring, likes to clean, courageous under pressure. Lisa: 22, Mark's wife, Lisa was finishing her studies in Math/Statistics. College aquaintance from Rochelle, Bella and Nickie. Brave, doting of her family, surprisingly driven when under pressure. Lily: 9 month baby, daughter of Lisa and Mark. Adorable, doesn't cry too much. David: 37, Mark's older brother. Has worked as a Doctor/General practitioner for 11 years. Honest, tolerant, likes old soap operas.

    The group has:

    • 1 revolver They received supplies (food, water, baby formula, medical items, tools) from Johnny's group. They are grateful and committed to mutual survival. Relationship: Trusted allies, part of the local survivor network.

    Chloe was the lifeguard at Rainshadow Retreat, a blonde bombshell with blue eyes, long hair, and a bodacious body.

16. #16Sinclair Manor

    Sinclair Manor was built in the late 19th century, and is the ancestral home of the Sinclair family. It is located deep in the woods of Rainshadow, and is situated atop a cliff overlooking the Northside beach. It, along with the resort, were restored and renovated by Evelyn Sinclair after she inherited them from her late husband Mathew.

    Keys: Evelyn, Sinclair

    Evelyn Sinclair is the owner of Rainshadow Retreat, having inherited it from her late husband Mathew. From Sinclair Manor, she financed the restoration and modernization of the resort in Mathew's honor. Evelyn is a middle-aged woman with black hair, violet eyes, and curvaceous body.

    Keys: Moona

    Moona was a local female moose—once gentle giant of an herbivore, transformed into a mindless carnivorous beast—that was mutated by the virus into a nightmarish abomination with exposed sickly green skin, and a torn open throat. What remains of her head is an elongated snout devoid any discernable features—no eyes, antlers, or nose—save for a maw filled with chipped incisors.

    Brandy was a hooker in LA that fled the city when the apocalypse started. She's a street smart woman with a killer body, green eyes, smooth skin with a medium complexion, and blonde hair styled in a short ponytail.

20. #20Cassandra

    Keys: Cassandra, Moretti

    Cassandra Moretti is a beautiful woman with fair skin, auburn hair styled in a wavy bob, and a voluptuous body. Before the apocalypse, Cassandra was an incredibly wealthy woman from LA with four ex-husbands, two of whom died under suspicious circumstances.

    Skylar Tamayo is a Cuban-American tomboy who was Rainshadow's carpenter before the apocalypse, and she has a femboy younger brother named Carlos. Skylar has light skin, Amber eyes, short black hair styled in a pixie cut, and a curvy body with a generous bust.

    Carlos Tamayo is a Cuban-American femboy, is the younger brother of Skylar, and was an electrician at Rainshadow before the apocalypse. Carlos has light skin, short black hair, amber eyes, thick thighs, and a plush rear.

23. #23The Second Dawn

    Keys: Second Dawn, The cult

    The Second Dawn was a cult that worshipped an apocalyptic trinity of nature, fire, and cosmic rebirth, prophesying The Second Dawn; an end times where the dead would rise (as 'The Awakened') to cleanse the world for rebirth. The cult had a compound a few miles from Rainshadow, which was wiped out when the cult members greeted the undead with open arms.

    Keys: Ember

    Ember was born and raised in the cult known as The Second Dawn. She is an adorable biracial woman with light brown skin, green eyes, a voluptuous body, and long, prematurely white hair. Ember escaped the cult's compound when she witnessed the undead tear her friends and family to pieces, an event that has shaken her beliefs.

25. #25Cassidy Farm

    Keys: Cassidy Farm

    Cassidy Farm is a farm located about 10 miles from Rainshadow Retreat that grows corn, wheat, and pumpkins. It also keeps a couple dairy cows, a chicken coop, and a few apiaries. Thanks to the protection of its owner, Shannon Cassidy, the farm was left relatively untouched by the undead.

    Shannon Cassidy is the owner of Cassidy Farm, her family's ancestral farmstead, and she's known locally for brewing her own moonshine, and having an ornery temper. Physically she is a medium-complexioned woman with red hair, blue eyes, and a voluptuous body.

    Solanum is a Legio mercenary who had been stranded in Cedar Hollow and only survivor of her squad after a Behemoth ambush. She has medium-complexioned skin, short tussled black hair, dark amber eyes, and an athletic body with large breasts.

    A member of the Quinault Nation, Tasha is a skilled and witch hunter who specializes in slaying wendigos.

29. #29The Wardens

    Keys: Wardens, Jed's boys, Forrest's boys

    The Wardens, led by Jed Forrest, are a hardline faction based in the fortified Gravenhold Penitentiary. Comprised of ex-law enforcement and a handful of trusted inmates, they maintain a harsh brand of law and order across Gravenhold County. In return for "protection," they impose taxes on local survivor groups—using force when necessary.

30. #30Sheriff Jed Forrest

    Before the apocalypse, Jed Forrest was the sheriff of the Gravenhold County Sheriff's Department, and was known to be mildly corrupt. After forming the Wardens however, he's gone full warlord. Charismatic and sharp as a blade, Jeb knows how to win people over with a warm grin and a firm handshake—right before turning the knife. He’s not a brute or a fanatic; he’s a warlord who understands people better than they understand themselves.

31. #31Gravenhold Penitentiary

    Keys: Gravenhold

    Gravenhold Penitentiary is the local prison for Gravenhold County. Per federal regulations all convicted murderers and rapists were summarily executed, while the rest of the inmates were either released at discretion, or held to be used as forced labor. Under the leadership of Sheriff Jed Forrest, it has become the fortified stronghold of The Wardens, and a sanctuary for their families.

    Keys: Chapter 2

    Months have progressed into the apocalypse into Autumn. At this point Rainshadow Retreat has been secured, the bridge to the mainland has been barricaded, and most of the undead have decayed into shambling corpses. Michelle's garden has grown crops, Skylar has setup a workshop, the rental cabins have been cleaned out for survivors, and the community center has been repurposed into an HQ, granary, and storage area. Also by now everyone has looted and changed into more practical clothing for the apocalypse.
