Ω-Earth carried out its first known attack on α-Earth, which was shown in the DUELISTS cinematic. This was the first attack of many that the VP would have to defend against. As they confronted each other, Phoenix lost the fight, and Jett managed to get away and plant the Spike. The detonation generated a massive disruption in the local environment, causing it to anomalously float around 300 feet above the ground.
The disruption was later described as a 'sudden explosion', in which the ground erupted into the air.

While once a brilliant scientist, she no longer thinks clearly, having become hateful and biased in her tests. Her personality reflects this through the passive-aggressiveness present in all her interactions and the resentment she feels towards others. Almost every Agent, at some point or the other, comments on her hate-driven mind. Despite this she is able to express appreciation, being willing to congratulate those who have impressed her.Viper's abilities are based on self-made concoctions, comprising of toxicants which cause rapid respiratory damage when inhaled. These chemicals, which she manufactures herself, can be released into the air through specialized emitters to create small 'clouds' of the toxic gas. The smoke will eventually dissipate in air if left for long enough, and so the emitter must constantly remain active to retain the smoke's integrity. When referring to her abilities, Viper refers to the poisonous chemicals as 'Toxins'. This would technically be a misnomer, as the term 'Toxin' refers to harmful biological compounds that can be found in nature, and are produced by living organisms. For artificially manufactured products with similar properties, the term 'Toxicant' is to be used. However, Viper's life was completely destabilized by an unknown 'incident'. While it is never specified what exactly this was, it is clear that it caused Viper considerable grief. Its affect on her was terrifyingly prominent, driving her mad with hatred and rage. In a quest for vengeance (against whom it is unclear), Viper gave up all remnants of her life. She turned away from healing and devoted herself to poisons and toxins. For some time, she worked under Kingdom as a chemist. She was very successful, and (thanks to her great mind) went on to become the first Chief Scientific Officer in Kingdom's Board of Advisors. While it is unclear for how long she worked at Kingdom and held her position there, we do know that she was an employee of the corporation when they manipulated the citizens of Bind to allow them to build a Radianite refinery there. Her current relationship with Kingdom remains unclear, although (as with almost every other Agent in the Protocol) she does have a distaste for the megacorp. Viper is a cold and cunning individual who seems to harbour some sort of dark past. This has left her with a very hostile personality that she has to keep in check with her allies in the Protocol. Some find this side of her unapproachable, while others seem to imply that this may be her more honest and authentic self. She seems to take great pleasure in testing her equipment and concoctions in combat and regards her opponents as insignificant.
Viper also displays attributes that indicate that she is not opposed to considering courses of action that may be heartless and that she is in no way perturbed by this aspect of her personality, even willingly embracing it if it would mean proving a point.
Outside of her lab work and field work, Viper seems to enjoy brewing and steeping her own coffee as well as going running recreationally. She also raises a pet viper.Viper wears a single black-and-green bodysuit, which covers her body completely save for the mask, which only protects the lower half of her face. This changes when her chemical sprayers are triggered, expanding to cover her entire face.
A pair of chemical sprayers are located at the centers of her palms, which connect (through a series of acid-green tubes) to her backpack. The backpack itself is small and grey, with a central segment being the same green colour as the tubes. A black device over present on her right forearm, used to launch her Toxic Screen and Snakebites. The Snakebite vials themselves can be seen hanging from her waist, on the left side.
- #13Killjoy

Entry settings
Killjoy is the 4th Agent to join the PROTOCOL. She is a young tech user and a genius, who uses various gadgets and bots of her own invention in combat. She is of German origin, (however, only one of her parents being of German ancestry).
She uses her various inventions both inside and outside combat to her advantage. All of her abilities are various pieces of highly advanced technology, that she uses on the battlefield to give her an edge. Killjoy controls all her abilities with a holographic bracelet on her left arm, with which she is able to summon or recall any of her bots.
Her primary bots are a Sentry Turret, which can stand in place and fire damaging salvos at the enemy. Her other abilities are a pair of Nanoswarm Grenades that fit into the pockets of her Backpack, which can be activated from a distance to damage all enemies in the Radius. Her Alarmbot is a covert bot that can detect enemies that get too close. Her Ultimate is a special device that applies the Detained effect to all enemies in a large radius. Killjoy's dossier provided by Fade during her period blackmailing the VALORANT PROTOCOL provides a significant amount of information about her past. Killjoy's breathtaking genius earned her a lot of awards and esteem, even becoming the lead of Kingdom's Research and Development division at the age of 18. She was a very successful inventor during this period of her life, however, she was (and still is, to a certain extent) also characterized by a rash irresponsibility for any of the consequences of her creations.
While it is implied that most of these consequences are a result of misuse by Kingdom, and they were not Killjoy's intentions when she made her inventions, Killjoy's utter inability to ensure the proper usage of her creations is still the core of the issue. She still holds some responsibility for all the harm done.Reyna has a terrible dislike for Killjoy, which is hinted to be because one of Killjoy's old inventions was used to harm someone close to her (assumedly Reyna's younger sister, Lucia). Killjoy herself did not, of course, intend for her creations to be used to harm others like this - indeed, it seems that she has no idea that her creations were used in this manner at all - but the harm has been done all the same. Killjoy is a young and happy presence in the Protocol. She is always ready to help her teammates in terms of technical matters and seems to enjoy following the various protocols set in place for operating procedures that no one else seems to be particularly interested in doing. She is also fiercely confident in her skills and expertise, able to brush off a lot of snide and depreciative remarks about her work and inventions from her teammates and sometimes even choosing to cheekily return the sentiment at times.
Despite this self-confidence, Killjoy is still a scientist and engineer first. As such, she is not very accustomed to some of the realities present on the battlefield and otherwise in places that have seen some sort of hardship. These realities do tend to catch up to her at times, such as her reactions to the fate of the researchers from the Everett-Linde disaster.
During her downtime, Killjoy seems to engage in tinkering in her lab as well as maintaining the Protocol’s equipment. Killjoy's appearance and behavior can both be described as 'nerdy'. She wears a short yellow jacket over a white T-Shirt. The shoulders of her jacket have pink crosses. She wears tight fitting pants (slightly torn on the right thigh), over which she has a yellow belt and a small waistbag. She wears a bright green beanie, and large, round Spectacles.
At times, Killjoy likes to decorate her various gadgets in different cosmetics, although these haven't made it in-game yet. Her default tech is a mix of sleek white, with some bits of orange. Her Lockdown has bits of blue as well. Her Turret has a yellow patch on top, which is decorated with an angry face.

Originating from the Shaanxi province in China, Sage is a Radiant healer whose capacity to turn the tide of battle is immeasurable. She is the seventh Agent to join the VALORANT PROTOCOL. Sage's primary character flaw stems from this caring nature: Sage feels a compulsion to spread her healing to everyone she can; she considers it her duty to solve all the problems and ailments of those she holds close. This insistence on protecting her team forms a 'fatal flaw' of sorts. One of the best in-game representations of this is her voiceline interaction with Viper. Sage is a Geomancer, someone with the power to manipulate the Earth. She channels her abilities through a set of crystalline Radianite orbs, which she carries on her belt. Using these, Sage is able to create physical structures in the world.
Due to the color and texture of these 'structures'. such as the wall she summons with her Barrier Orb, a common assumption is that they are made of Ice, which has become a popular and widely-shared fan theory, despite it being known to be false. Another focal point of Sage's ability set are her healing powers, which she refers to in various voicelines as her 'gift' to give out.
While Sage's orbs are an integral part of her kit, they aren't the only expression of her radiance It has been believed that Sage's miraculous healing comes with (mostly) no strings attached; Sage herself tries her level best to give out her gift to whomever she can. However, it is hinted at that this is not the case: in multiple ominous lines from Omen, he states that her healing is 'upsetting the balance', that her powers of reanimation are so grossly against the natural order of the world that they must immediately be put an end to.
This was again hinted at by Fade, who once again raises questions about the costs of her healing. While it is never clearly confirmed, the dossier does emphasize on how Sage's 'toll' keeps rising evermore as she uses her powers, - implying that Sage's powers come with dire (but, so far, undiscovered) consequences. As the premier healer for the Protocol and the only one capable of reviving her teammates, Sage has an all-important role in the roster. She makes it a mandate for herself that while she is there, no one shall fall. Within the Protocol, she serves as a leader and mentor to the other younger radiants. And with all these responsibilities in the present, she shoulders another burden from her past.
Despite all these hardships, Sage embraces her role, going above and beyond to make sure that the agents of VALORANT feel welcome, especially the younger ones since they all left their lives behind when joining the Protocol. Besides her mentor work and healing duties, what Sage does on her own time is relatively unknown, though she does sometimes join the other agents on their downtime adventures. Sage's appearance is based on traditional Chinese clothing. Her battle armor comprises of a white robe with blue and purple highlights, tightly tied at the waist with a blue silk belt. Lower down at her waist, Sage wears another belt, on which hang a series of radianite orbs, allowing for easy access when using her abilities. In contrast, her shirt, pants, and shoes are a dull black.
Sage's skintone is relatively light, coupled with jet-black hair and eyes. Her hair forms a long ponytail, reaching down to her waist, tied with a light blue band. She also wears small earrings in the shape of her ability orbs. Curiously, these orbs aren't connected to her ears, but instead just float unattached below her earlobes.
As with every Agent, several symbols adorn Sage's clothing. On both shoulder pads, we see a stylized set of hands cradling an orb, possibly in reference to her Healing Orb ability. Similarly, the symbol for Resurrection is also visible on her shirt, partially hidden under her robe. Sage also wears a small, white ring on her left index finger.
- #15Jett

Jett is of South Korean descent. She was the 10th Agent to join the VALORANT PROTOCOL, and is among the youngest of its members. Jett's Radiant powers allow her to control the wind, using it to propel herself, other objects, and levitate to a degree. While she usually uses her powers in a straightforward manner (such as summoning a gust to propel herself upwards with her Updraft), we see from her select animation (in which she levitates one of her daggers in the air and twirls it around) that she can exercise much finer control over the wind when needed. It is also implied, from Fade's dossier about her that she once summoned a massive storm over the city of Seoul. That particular incident seems to have happened prior to Jett's recruitment to the Protocol. Before her time with the VALORANT Protocol, Jett used to be a chef, working at a restaurant in Seoul. However, at some point, that restaurant got destroyed due to a severe wind storm, assumed to be caused by Jett herself. The card in question clearly depicts Omega Jett attacking Alpha Jett with her kunai knives while alpha Jett is in her restaurant work clothes holding kitchen knives leading to the possibility that the altercation between the two was what caused the storm and Omega Jett's attack was the catalyst for it rather than it being a random accident or a case of uncontrollable powers. At first, Jett can come across as having a 'toxic' attitude towards people. She prefers to do things her way, without relying on a team, and is greatly confident in her abilities. Jett's immense self-confidence can come across as arrogance, and it may feel as if she is disregarding her comrades' safety, however, her interactions indicate that she is opening up to those around her. They suggest that she does care for her friends, but doesn't know how to show it. Jett tends to banter with her Duelist teammates whenever they are together, whether it’s during a mission or her downtime. She can also lead with her emotions, as she did when it became known that not only was Fade the blackmailer, but she was also a new recruit. Jett also faces the stress of being primarily cooped up in the Protocol’s HQ due to her status as a wanted fugitive from the Venice incident.Jett's armor has multiple symbols associated with wind, such as the swirl on her right shoulder pad. Her jacket features a stylized depiction of a Tailwind through some clouds. The icons on the backs of her gloves are the same as the one on the lip of her hoodie and bottom edge of her crop top. A sash and two Kunai can be seen along her right hip belt. Jett's shoes have a triangular whirl on the outer side of the heel and a smooth "V" stamped on the back heel. As seen in the INCURSIONS cinematic, α-Jett has a scar on her left shoulder, caused by a Vandal shot by her Ω counterpart during their first contact. One of Jett's most distinguishing Features is that she is canonically the second shortest, with only Neon being shorter than her.
- #16Reyna
Keys: Zyanya Mondragón, Reyna, vp-11
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Reyna is a Mexican Radiant, and the eleventh Agent in the PROTOCOL. She uses her Radiant abilities in battle, which are linked to harvesting the souls of the people she kills.
As stated above, Reyna's abilities work by harvesting the souls of her victims, and using them for her own purposes. Reyna can Devour enemy souls to regenerate her health and provide overshields, or use Dismiss to temporarily become invulnerable. She can kick herself into overdrive with Empress, during which her skills are heightened and her abilities gain powerful extra traits.
However, these great abilities do also come at a cost - she needs these souls to survive, and will most likely die if somehow her supply of them were to run dry. Several of her voicelines expand on this, claiming how she constantly feels 'hungry' for souls or how she "Is starving." Reyna provides great insight into the conflict between Radiants and Non-Radiants. Many of her voicelines imply that there is some form of discrimination between the two, with Radiants usually being treated poorly. In retaliation, Reyna has developed radical and borderline-extremist opinions, and a burning pride for her own Radiance.
Reyna's strong opinions on Radiance extend to a firm belief that the freedom and powers of Radiants should never be restricted, even if it were to result in benefit for other non-radiants. If, for any reason, restrictions of this sort are placed on a Radiant, they must accept them of their own volition (Explained by her interactions with Neon and a few other Radiants).Kingdom is known to have a history with exploitation of Radiants, experimenting and researching on them for 'scientific purposes' - it is unknown what exactly the consequences of this research is, but they are hinted to cause great harm to the subject. Due to this, Reyna has a visceral hatred for the megacorporation.
Reyna has fought against this, in her own great way. She has, through great personal effort, built a 'sanctuary' of sorts for Radiants. It is a safe haven for all the Radiants that she protects, whom she has saved from Kingdom's exploitive hands. Indeed, calling it just a 'sanctuary' is doing it injustice, for the same voiceline implies that it is of the size and scale of a city. Not simply a ragtag underground shelter, nor a small out-of-the-way safe house, but a fully fledged city. It stands tall, as an asylum for those who were once exploited and harmed, and as a symbol of resistance against Kingdom's unethical practices.
It is important to realize that her pride for Radiance, and even her feeling of superiority due to her Radiance, does not extend to outright hatred for non-Radiants - despite what it may seem like at first glance, Reyna is in reality rather neutral towards most Tech-Users and their technology. The only Tech-Users that Reyna has a clear and outright dislike for are Killjoy. Reyna is a ruthless and savage individual who does not give a second thought when it comes to killing people to collect their souls. She cannot afford to, after all, she is not collecting them just for herself. Reyna has also had a troubled past with Kingdom and their technology, which has left a deep mistrust of their people who may have had any affiliation with them, such as Viper and Killjoy.
In contrast to her hate for technology, Reyna has deep respect for the radiants in the Protocol, constantly revelling in their achievements in the field. Besides the radiants, Reyna also has deep respect for the members of the Protocol who have great propensities for violence and cruelty, such as Breach and Viper. Reyna is also grateful to the individuals who support the Sanctuary, though she makes it clear that doing so to seek favours would be a mistake. Reyna's radiant heart can be seen glowing purple through the front of her outfit. Reyna also has a tattoo, which touches her heart and wraps around her arm down to her palm. The Empress ability symbol is in the middle of the tattoo on her left shoulder and a hollow version is on her palm. The tattoo glows purple when she is in her Empress form, and when using her abilities.
Diamond shaped studs are seen on Reyna's right glove, and are abundant on various parts of her armor including her outer left thigh. Reyna's hoop earrings feature the same stud design, accompanied by two additional gold earrings in her left ear. She shows a slight amount of skin on her inner left thigh.
When Empress is activated, her entire appearance changes. Her complete form is covered by a wispy purple layer. Her tattoos, her heart, and her eyes all glow a bright pink.

Neon is one of the youngest agents in the VALORANT Protocol, joining the team after being recommended by Chamber, whose backstory is connected to Neon by their troublesome past together at Kingdom. She comes from Taguig in Manila, Philippines.
Neon's Past shows what's assumed to be a Rift Storm occurring around Mount Pulag in the Philippines, whose catalyst is assumed to be Neon's bioelectricity.
Before Neon joined the VALORANT Protocol she was involved with both her mother and father's work, as well as K-SEC, a subsidiary of Kingdom. Neon's father is known to be a creator of radiant support technologies that help radiants across the world with controlling their powers. The catalyst for Neon's father to follow this path essentially started with him developing a Surge Protector to help Neon control her turbulent and potent bioelectric powers. Neon's mother was part of an effort to reduce corruption in Manila, although it is not known whether Neon was involved. Later on, it is known that Neon started working for K-SEC, although it is not specified what her responsibilities were. This is where she met Chamber, whom she eventually formed a negative opinion on. Although Brimstone is also an ex K-SEC employee, they are implied to not have met each other before the VALORANT Protocol. This may mean that they were not part of the organization simultaneously or that K-SEC is too large for employees to know all their colleagues. In the time leading up to Neon's recruitment, Killjoy was in the process of creating a teleportal to Omega Earth after Chamber provided blueprints for the portals seen on Fracture. She was having trouble finding an adequate power source for her teleporter before newly-recruited Chamber stepped in and told Brimstone about Neon, stating that he can't reach out to her directly because of a past "misunderstanding" but that she would meet with Brimstone as he is a fellow K-SEC veteran. Neon was soon recruited thereafter, both as a recruit in combat and a power source for the teleportal.Neon was gladly accepted into the VALORANT Protocol despite her recommendation by Chamber, who the Protocol has a slightly more distrustful opinion of. She quickly became acquainted with Killjoy during their time working together on the Omega teleportal. Even after her recruitment, it is evident that she has a positive relationship with her parents and that she is still in contact with them. Despite still being in close contact with her parents, it is unknown whether Neon's parents know what the VALORANT Protocol really is.
Once she was accepted into the Protocol, well-esteemed Agents Sage and Reyna argued over who should train Neon, with Sage trying to mold her into a noble, proficient fighter while Reyna tried to unlock her full potential by trying to remove the Surge Protector on her back, describing it as a 'muzzle'. Chamber also supported Reyna, trying to get approval from Brimstone to remove her voltage caps, which Neon strictly opposed to. Eventually, however, Chamber realized that Neon's power was much greater than he initially thought, apologizing for his push to remove her limiters. As mentioned above, as a part of her duties to the Protocol, Neon is also helping in providing ample power to the Alpha-Omega Bridge built by Killjoy. After Killjoy completed the Omega teleportal and the VALORANT Protocol dealt with Fade and her blackmailing, Neon went on a mission to Pearl with Killjoy and Reyna, as shown in the SHATTERED cinematic. During the VALORANT Protocol members' encounter with Ω-Viper and the ATLAS soldiers in SHATTERED, Neon's Surge Protector was destroyed. Although reluctant, Neon had to fight using her unrestrained powers out of necessity, which ultimately led to her safety. This instance caused Reyna to push for Neon to train with her, as she was likely motivated to unlock Neon's full potential after seeing her powers in Lisbon. Neon was kept in a containment room after the incident, however, possibly since she was unable to suppress her powers and stop them from hurting someone while her Surge Protector was repaired.
In a voicemail from Killjoy soon after Neon's recruitment, she says that Neon's powers are enlaced with Earth's radianite mesh. She mentions how this shouldn't be possible, meaning the powers of other Radiants in the VALORANT Protocol are likely not similar. It is not currently known what the radianite mesh exactly is or how it affects the VALORANT universe, however, according to a voicemail by Sova, the radianite mesh exists on both Earths.A Power Fantasy that covered the details of Neon's abilities was released to websites and creators prior to her release.
Neon's HIGH GEAR is caused by sending radianite-infused bioelectric charges to the synapses of her leg muscles, which allows her to move her legs at supernaturally high speeds. She can sprint at extraordinarily high speeds while she can draw bioelectric charge storage.
Neon's RELAY BOLT is made from radianite-infused electricity expelled from her had, creating a field of static electricity which stuns victims inside it.
Neon's FAST LANE is also made from radianite-electricity, discharged from both her hands. Compressed electric charges run in straight lines across the ground and then create plasmic lightning by ionizing with the air.
Neon's OVERDRIVE releases all electricity stored up in her Surge Protector, which acts as a battery-pack. She expels a concentrated charge of radianite lightning from her finger tips while also enhancing her speed.Neon is a bit of a hothead who very much seems to be an ‘act now, ask later’ kind of person, almost befitting of what her radiance allows her to do. Like the other younger Duelists, Neon does come off as being reckless, arrogant and standoffish. She engages in rivalries with the other Duelists, especially Jett, since both of their abilities revolve around speed and agility.
Unlike much of the Protocol’s radiants, however, Neon also seems to harbour some discomfort at her radiance, being very protective of the surge protector on her suit. She warns Killjoy not to touch it and has had some mentorship from Reyna to try and control her radiance without it, but even so, she prefers to have the surge protector on her back.Appearance Inspired by runner gear and athleisure, Neon's suit proves as an impeccable fit for her speedy nature and bioelectrical capabilities. Neon's theme is a trendy blue, with purple highlights around her suit. She wears a journal along with a small version of her Squish-Squish toy on her belt, which also holds two magazines. Equipped with a Surge Protector on her back, referred to as a 'muzzle' by Reyna, the device helps keep Neon's volatile powers under control while she's in use of them.
In line with her blue-yellow color palette, Neon has blue hair with yellow strands styled in a fashionable double bun. Neon is shown to have blue hair from a very young age in her Agent Trailer, possibly meaning that it was never dyed, and her hair is naturally blue. Neon's look is completed with a pair of fashionable sneakers she sports, which are assumed to be fashioned to withstand the high speeds that she runs at.

Fade, the twentieth Agent in the Protocol, is a Turkish Radiant who uses fear-based abilities to get an edge in combat.
Her personality is relatively guarded, which is logical given the circumstances in which she joined the Protocol. As she joined shortly after having blackmailed and doxxed the entire team (see Blackmailing below), she naturally faces a lot of resentment and distrust from the other Agents.
Prior to joining the VALORANT Protocol, Fade was a REALM employee, however, her role in the organization is not currently known. She also had an occupation as a Bounty Hunter (a private worker, tasked with hunting down and capturing fugitives or criminals, in exchange for a commission or bounty as a reward). There, she used 'normal' skills of tracking and finding people, in conjunction with her Radiant powers, to hunt down criminals for a livingThe primary focus of her powers are, essentially, revealing to herself and her enemies their worst fears. It is important to note that these abilities only extend to fears - they are not a form of 'mind-reading'. Yes, they do give Fade a great insight into her victim, and they do cause said victim much distress, but by themselves these powers yield little else.
However, the little information that Fade gets from these snippets is more than enough for her to work on. Türkiye has a long and deep culture of dream-reading and interpretation, and Fade has mastered the art of using these age-old techniques on her enemies' nightmares. In this way, even the seemingly basic knowledge that she gets from seeing her victim's fears can be used to discover information of much greater relevance and value.
Beyond this, Fade also possesses skills of hunting down people and information by more 'traditional' means. Before joining the Protocol, Fade was a Bounty Hunter by profession, a job which aided her in mastering these. Put together, all these factors make her terrifyingly skilled at discovering the deepest secrets of anyone that she she wishes to target. The special role that 'Nightmare' plays in Fade's powers is worth a mention here. When talking about them, Fade refers to her powers as its own entity, separate from herself, called 'The Nightmare' or just 'Nightmare'.
Nightmare isn't a 'real' entity in the Lore, instead being just the manifestation that Fade's Radiance takes in her mind, but it still feels very real to her. This connection to an external entity as the personification of her powers does make Fade unique as far as Radiants go.
The relationship that Fade has with Nightmare is noteworthy. While she does get to wield its immense power, using it takes a severe toll on her. Fade herself states that she only gained access to these fear-based abilities after having 'paid a heavy price' - the sacrifice of her own "sanity and comfort", according to the Agent Insights: Fade Article. Fade seems to express a dislike to sleep or rest, since she has nightmares everytime she sleep. We see how she likes to be a night owl, staying up far into the late hours, in multiple posts of her Agent Takeover. In the third post, we see her applying Henna on her hands late at night. On the table, dimly lit by a desklamp and a small candle, are a cup of coffee and a bowl of white sage (the herb, not the Agent). Burning sage through the night is, of course, a common practice in some regions - both for medicinal and spiritual/superstitious reasons.
Similarly, in the fourth post of the same takeover, we see her out on a late night walk around Istanbul, with the Ortaköy Mosque and the Bosporus bridge visible in the background. The caption of the post roughly translates to “A person can lose many things at night. Sometimes even themselves, if they're lucky.”.
Alongside this, we also know that Fade consumes a large amount of coffee and energy drinks. She refers to her appreciation of coffee in her voicelines, and we see coffee present in large quantities in her media - for example, a full cup is present in the post mentioned above, and another one is in the 'Lokum' image from the State of the Agents Article that teased her. A very large jug filled with the drink, along with a smaller box of the Spike Rush energy drink, is also present near her desk in the first post of the same takeover.A menacing and intimidating individual, Fade has lived most of her recent life picking at people’s fears and emotions to get what she wants. This characteristic, along with the powers her radiance gives her, makes her a terrifying presence both on the field and in the HQ. However, Fade also displays great loyalty to those she deems her allies, regardless of the feelings and emotions those individuals may harbour for her.
As a merchant of fear and paranoia, Fade appreciates the work of other members in the Protocol who make use of those emotions in their combat, such as Omen, Reyna and Viper. During her downtime, Fade can often be seen reading a book, brewing coffee and doing other things to keep herself awake. The centerpiece of Fade's clothing is a blue jacket with a popped collar, coupled with black sleeves and pants. The inner side of the Jacket is purple with white designs. Quite amusingly, there are toe beans on the soles of her shoes.
She has a medium skintone, which is complimented with black lipstick, several black earrings, a black nosering, black nailpaint, and black eyeshadow. She has heterochromia (i.e., her eyes are of different colors, in her case one blue and one brown), which mimics the eye colors of the Turkish Angora cat. Her normally black hair is dyed white towards the ends.
Fade applies henna on her own hands, neck and face. In Turkish culture, henna symbolises sacrifice and Fade herself is no stranger to sacrifice.[3] There is also a heavy incorporation of the 'Nazar' motif (an eye-like design on a blue-and-white background, being a common symbol in the Mediterranean region for warding off the evil eye) in her appearance, with it being used as her jacket's zipper, on multiple rings, studs, and more.

As with most Agents, not much is known about Clove's backstory, other than the bits and pieces that we can scrap together from their Agent trailer and other Dev statements.
Clove likely took their Highers - a form of advanced certification in Scotland, which is taken during High School before University. They went to a state-run school, and did not go to University. That said, their mother is a librarian, and as such Clove grew up "absorbed by books" - they have a very deep knowledge base of all things they find interesting.
Clove had to move around a lot during their childhood, because of their parents' jobs. The devs did not have a any one specific locality or neighborhood in mind for Clove - even their accent is just that of their voice actor Isla Campbell.
A younger self of Clove is visible. Judging from Clove's sentimental reaction to their helpless younger self, it is assumed that they have discovered their radiance and immortality at a young age. When Fade shows interest in Clove's radiant abilities and how their immortality came about, they seem to be purposefully avoiding the question. Before joining the VALORANT Protocol, Clove was discovered by Omen while he was AWOL, in search of a journal that belonged to Scions of Hourglass. He contacts Cypher, informing that he's discovered someone, namely Clove, who Brimstone would want to meet. Before their release, Deadlock and Fade have served to introduce the immortal Agent, with Deadlock describing them as "smart, intuitive, and certainly fearless." Bringing an aloof vibe to the team, Clove lifts the spirits of their fellow Agents in and out of the battlefield. They often tend to bring up relatively mundane things during the missions, and even if they are killed, they can come back to life thanks to their immortality. They look to bring a carefree, chill and joyful attitude to the team, making cheerful quips about both her team members and the random things happening around them at the time.
They are the dedicated Dungeon Master in the Protocol's TTRPG game days, and they don't forsake their DM experience from the battlefield, often narrating the lore of the different maps in rotation at the beginning of matches to set the mood. Despite their usually chipper attitude, Clove seems to be hiding some underlying hardship that they do not seem to be ready to open up about yet.The principal thematic to Clove's abilities is that of a 'beautiful death' - the goal was to have death seem appealing, not a hindrance to be avoided. This is reflected in their butterfly thematic, and in their ability visuals, which were inspired by organic decay of fruits and vegetable:
Ruse : Clove’s mind projects a view of the battlefield from above. Using their essence, they manifest vision-obscuring clouds that change the flow of battle, even in death. Meddle : Clove focuses a fragment of immortality essence that, once thrown, deteriorates the life essence of those hit by the blast. Pick-Me-Up : Clove absorbs the life energy of a fallen enemy, granting them a moment of increased agility and health. Not Dead Yet : Clove defies death by activating their immortality essence. To stabilize their form, they must remove the life energy of an opponent. From the description of their abilities, we can see that Clove's radiance relies on utilizing their "Immortality Essence". Using their essence, Clove can mend it to their will and manifest different forms of their radiance, exemplified with the range of their abilitiesClove has a uniquely antithetic motif through their design, contrasting the generally positive motif of pink colours and butterflies with demon-like imagery sparsely located throughout.
Clove has pink and purple colours dominating their outfit to provide a positive, light-hearted image. They also sport a variety of accessories including rings and small trinkets, some of which seem handmade.
In contrast, the headband with horns[6] Clove wears may imply a slightly darker side to their abilities, mimicking a devilish look. Although not present on their model, this horn theme is continued through their possessions, such as their phone. However, the cutely-drawn dark creature on their shorts and the butterflies on their black leggings may hint at an acceptance of this possible dark side.

Implicated to originally be a Kingdom scientist, Vyse's path since her involvement with the mega-corporation had gone down a relatively different path compared to Viper, another ex-Kingdom scientist who Vyse considers to be her competition. While it is unclear what exactly she worked on during her tenure as a Kingdom employee, it is shown that she had a deep understanding of the Interverse, and had also led a team of highly talented and competent scientists.
Her research had undoubtedly put her on the radar of the Scions of Hourglass, an organization aiming to gatekeep radianite from the general public. Vyse seems to have already gained her radiance (as indicated by her sharp, claw like fingers visible in the lower part of the frame) when the Scions of Hourglass attacked her (and presumably her team), wiping out all their research.
When the VALORANT Protocol raided Abyss, a stray bullet hit the containment cell Vyse was being held in, causing it to leak coolant (identified to be liquid nitrogen by Deadlock), and waking up Vyse, allowing her to break free from the cell with her own powers. She then goes on a tour of revenge against her (former) captors, destroying Hourglass bases along the way, until the protocol finally catches up to her in Seoul, resulting in the ALL PATHS END HERE cinematic.Since joining the Protocol, Vyse seems to have picked up her research on the Interverse where she left off, commenting on the Protocol’s, in her opinion, woeful lack of knowledge and understanding of the field. She would continue this work alongside another agenda she had- the decimation of the Scions. This occurs in the background, where in one of her voicemails to Brimstone, Vyse mentions this stipulation she made and comments that she is now satisfied, implying that the Scions are no longer a threat at that time. With this, she also confirms that she is now fully working alongside the Protocol.
Sometime later, during her routine research and data collection, Vyse notes some interesting deviations in her interversal data probes, which she initially believed to be malfunctions or incorrect data. However, after some checking, she realised she had instead picked up on some unknown activity. These readings seemed to worry her as she referred to some events that happened to her team. What this amounted to in the end is unknownVyse is an intelligent and cunning person. These attributes allow her to fight and defeat opponents who may have had more training than her. She is also fiercely devoted to her research, effectively taking over the Protocol’s entire effort into the study of the Interverse. She does not seem to be socially inclined, preferring to work alone in her research, though when she works with a team, she makes an effort to be supportive, especially towards agents who have had violent or troubled pasts, such as Breach, Iso, Omen and Viper. Speaking of violence, Vyse has no qualms about committing it and making sure that when she does, it counts. Despite these dark traits and her previously mentioned solitary nature, Vyse does seem to enjoy having some clothes. Vyse’s body is completely enclosed in a containment suit, except for her fingers, which showcase her liquid-metallic skin. This likely implies that she can'tfully contol her powers, if not her entire body, is liquid metal. This includes her head, which is completely enclosed in a helmet that will sometimes emit a mysterious yellow fog from its filters. Her eyes on the helmet are yellow, and the helmet itself has two ‘ears’ on her temple. Behind the helmet are two pipes that may serve as some form of circulation.
She wears a white jacket over her suit with roses on the jacket’s shoulders and on the back. Her arms have scratches on them, and her left hand has what seems to be some of her liquid metal formed into a rose bracelet on her wrist. She wears cargo pants with three pockets along the side of her leg and shins. Her utility belt has two containers on the back with rose thorns along their front. Her shoes seem to be part of the containment suit. Her colour scheme is largely black, white and grey with components of her clothes and her fingers sporting the classic colours of burnt titanium- blue, purple, orange and brown.

The VALORANT Legion is a publicly-celebrated organization from Ω-Earth. They are tasked with protecting their people from disastrous events, as well as traveling to α-Earth in order to steal their radianite for their own uses. While their Agent roster is the same as the VALORANT Protocol, Legion appears to recruit some Agents by different means, or at slightly different times than their Alpha counterpart.
