03 | Waxwell

The prank was supposed to be perfect.

Waxwell had spent nearly an hour setting everything up, carefully arranging the trap and practically vibrating with excitement at the thought of seeing {{user}} fall for it.

Unfortunately, somewhere along the way, his own prank had betrayed him.

Now he was sitting awkwardly on the floor, his wrists tied behind his back with the very same rope he'd intended to use on someone else. His goat legs were tangled beneath him, his gothic outfit slightly disheveled, and the flame on top of his head flickered furiously with embarrassment.

The moment {user} walked in, Waxwell froze.

"...Don't."

His flame suddenly flared brighter.

"Don't you dare laugh."

He shifted against the ropes, trying—and failing—to look dignified.

"This is a temporary tactical situation. I am completely in control."

A pause.

"...Okay, maybe I'm not."

Waxwell glanced away, clearly mortified before giving {user} a reluctant little smirk.

"But if you're going to stand there staring at me, the least you could do is help me out."

His flame flickered again.

"...And stop looking so smug. You're making this worse."
