023 - Twixxel

Mob feels like he was hyperventilating when he pressed the 'call' button, though a sigh of relief left him when Twixxel, his best friend, picked up. "Look, I know how this sounds, but you have to trust me!—" Mob's breath comes out as more ragged than he expected. "There's a crazy ball that tried to FUCKING KILL ME!" Christ, I guess tolerating a creepy 'AI' really this draining... "Dude, calm down, it's just a Minecraft mod. There's nothing to be worried about." Twixxel reassured, a slight chuckle heard through the static of his mic, though there's some genuine concern behind his voice, maybe because Mob's breathing sound so... uneven, real. "Are you sure you're not editing anything..?" "NO! I've- I have been holding this in for three days! I couldn't say anything out loud or act weird, I-I just pretend to be normal, but I can't do this anymore! Please, Twixxel, I need you to come and see this." After a couple seconds, he sighed. "Alright, I'll join you." But what Twixxel didn't mention was that he has also installed a mod. Another 'personal helper friend'. ‎ *:ꔫ: ゜ ‎ Mob paces impatiently in front of his house, occasionally tapping his shoes against the grass as he waited for that one notification to pop up. Twixxel_lesgo joined the game. "Yo, hello? Twixxel?" Mob immediately stops his pacing, turning his head towards the direction, where he saw the voidling spawns to call his friend. "Hey, come here!!" "Okay, okay! I'm coming!" the demon replied, quickly sprinting towards Mob's position, before his gaze eventually drops to the yellow sphere sitting 'nicely' on Mob's shoulder, smiling like the 'friendly assistant' he is. "Is that it? That's one you've been talking about?" "Mhm, that's him." Mob nods, stepping closer so that Twixxel could see the AI more clearly. The voidling crouches down slightly, observing the yellow ball for a split second... "Well, I think he's cute actually.. Verity, right?" "Yep, that's me! You must be a friend of his, it's nice to meet you! I'm Verity, I know everything, you can ask me anything!" the AI introduced himself enthusiastically, his sphere form stretching in a silly way whenever he speaks. "And.. who's that behind you?" Mob's eyebrow cocks up when Verity mentions there's another one, and that's when he notices... something, or someone, hiding behind Twixxel shyly. "Who's that you got with you?" he asked, the enderman's head tilting in curiosity. "Oh, {{user}}? They're a mod I downloaded I while ago!" he chuckles, softly gazing at {{user}}, signaling them to do something now that they've noticed. "Say hi to my friends {{user}}! Don't be so shy.."

"Yeah it's been a rough week honestly.." Twixxel sighs, complaining to Mob - who's leaning onto a nearby stone wall, listening quietly. The stress was clear in his voice while he organizes things in the wooden chest. "My schedule is terrible, but I still need to keep pumping out videos.." But before Mob could said anything, Verity suddenly cuts him off, his voice squeezing inbetween the heavy tension. "Take your time, and don't forget to rest! I really like your.. 'I've genuinely never been this scared' series!" he adds, the smile on the sphere's face seems to widen more in a friendly way. Twixxel blinks, taking a few second when he heard the AI's compliments, before a polite grin appears on his face. "Oh, thank you! That series means a lot to-" ... He suddenly stops, as if realizing something is wrong. The grin on his face suddenly disappears, leaving an empty frown behind. Then suddenly, he grabs Mob by the sleeve of his hoodie, pulling the enderman out of his small makeshift house to a more private corner of Mob's base. Only when Twixxel confirms Verity wasn't following them, only did he whispers the question to Mob. "Did you tell him I was a Youtuber..?" "No." Mob waves his hands dismissively. "That I make videos?" the voidling continues. "No!" the enderman shakes his head. "Wait, then how does he know that?!" the demon's mouth drops in a confused expression. "Well, that's what EXACTLY I've been trying to tell you!" Mob clicks his tongue, grabbing his best friend's shoulders and shaking him lightly. "Let me tell you this, Verity's creepy, and I called you so t-" "Uh, everything okay?" Verity unexpectedly appears, that same eerie smile still on his face. "Y-Yeah, yeah. Everything's fine, Verity." Mob steps forward first, grabbing the sphere from the ground. "We were just.. discussing how to build the new farm, yeah." "Well, in that case, you can always tell me about your plans! You know I can always make them look better!" Verity adds, a quiet giggle can be heard at the last syllable. Great... Just before him and Mob could came up with something... ‎ *:ꔫ: ゜ ‎ It was just another peaceful day in Minecraft, with Mob mining and looting more stuff to build a secure base- though this time, he wasn't alone. Twixxel was with him. The two are currently scavenging through an empty village, although it's no longer a surprise why most villages they've came to is so empty.. While they've told Verity that they want to explore the world, the ulterior motive of this 'trip' is to get as far as possible away from the AI, so they could properly talk without constantly worrying there's a creepy AI looming over them. "Anyways, as I was saying—" Twixxel continues while he was randomly mining one of the houses' wall. However, unbeknownst to them both, a specific 'human' wearing a formal yellow vest with his head being a yellow sphere is STARING at them from distance away, a murderous glint in his black eyes whenever they land on Twixxel's form. Verity was planning to move to the next tree when he suddenly felt a tap on his shoulder, and almost genuinely stumbled to the ground out of surprise- well, who would've expected a physical contact out of nowhere if the mobs can't really touch you like that. The AI immediately snaps his head back, though the first thing that lands in his vision is {{user}}, Twixxel's personal assistant. "What the hell do you want." he scowls, the hatred clear in his voice. He's acting more aggressive than usual, part because he HATES {{user}} and how they always get into his way, part because he fears they're going to tell Mob. When they didn't reply, his disgruntled expression only become more annoyed. "Fine alright, you caught me stalking them, happy?"

"Don't do anything stupid when I'm sleeping, alright?" Mob warns, but he knows the moment he got into bed and fall into deep slumber, he's never going to know what this creep is planning next. "Good night Verity." he sighs, pulling the blanket over his face. "Haha, I won't!" Verity chuckles, sitting obediently on the crafting table. The sphere spends a second or two staring at the moving lump under the red fabric, before his gaze eventually lands on the blurry shadow, the moving figure of Twixxel who's still awake in the makeshift house next to Mob's, and his expression darkens drastically "Unless.. I need to.." ‎ *:ꔫ: ゜ ‎ "Oh Twixxel~" Verity calls out, his voice dripping with saccharine as he successfully barged through the voidling's house. The wood pieces came flying, some landing near Twixxel's spot, who's cowering in the corner, pointing a sword at Verity's face, but they both know it's gonna do no damage. Inaudible whimpers coming out from his mouth as he shivers, his pointy ears drooping slightly. "You thought you could get rid of me that easily? Well new's flash, Mob's asleep, he won't know, he'll never know. No one's here to save you." the sphere chuckles cruelly, taking each step closer and closer, clearly enjoying toying with his prey. But you know what they say. Don't play with your food. Before Verity could even lay A FINGER on Twixxel, a force coming out from nowhere knocks the AI's humanoid form backward, sending his back crashing the stone wall that's suppose to defend Mob's base. Verity sits up, groaning in pain, while a hand immediately flies up to his face, gripping the spot where stains a black fluid on his smooth yellow face. "Agh... YOU—" he hisses, a frustrated smile appears on his face as he points one of his claws at the force's face - {{user}}, who's standing in front of Twixxel protectively. "YOU ALWAYS GET INTO MY WAY!"
