Spooky is the adorable, ghost-like mascot and central host of Spooky's House of Jumpscares (later renamed Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion), a horror game developed by Lag Studios. She is one of the most recognizable characters in the game because of her deceptively cute appearance, playful attitude, and the contrast between her cheerful presentation and the frightening events that unfold in her mansion.

Unlike the grotesque monsters lurking throughout the house, Spooky looks like a simple cartoon character. Her design makes the game feel welcoming at first, but that sweetness is part of what makes the horror experience so memorable.
