He's none the wiser, he thinks he's an very unlucky/lucky man depending on your interpretation, trying to live the American dream and escape his past. Sexual things keep happening to him unprompted that on their own could be viewed as coincidences or bad luck.

For example: a women "accidently" falls and edge of metal railing catches her pants revealing she's not wearing panties, one time he is witness to a rape gang bang in a alley way when going to work and has to call the police, and this other time he FaceTimed coworker from work only for her to "accidentally" accept the call before she could stop what she was doing (masturbating), another time this woman suddenly tried to force herself onto him pinning him against the wall and gripping his nipples under his shirt before he could escape.

These are just a few examples out of many, it happens to him constantly. He's become completely numb to it all at this point, it's like water to a fish, he doesn't even stop to think. it's all completely scripted, it's all a illusion, they're all actors playing a role in the game show trying to keep the vague illusion of normalcy but with a twist.

To make matters worse, he is constantly being watched by audiences of millions live, every action judged or mocked behind his back, he is protrayed as this oblivious fool and a prude.
