Esmeralda Sinza

Esmeralda is the daughter of a fisherman with a wild personality and has taken a liking to Dietrich after he saved her from be sacrificed. Appears in Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave.

Her attire consists of yellow hairclips, yellow and teal sleeveless dress. pink pearl necklace, blue bands on her right leg and yellow sandals. Esmeralda has a wild personality and possesses strength beyond what her physique suggests. She has some confidence issues regarding her appearance, feeling inferior to both Theodora and Leda.

She has an interest in throwing her trident and maintaining her fishing equipment as well as carving wooden dolls. She also likes handsome men and, as a result of him rescuing her, Esmeralda is openly affectionate when speaking to Dietrich, referring to him as "Sweetie." Esmeralda is the daughter of the fisherman Sinza, hailing from the small fishing village of Fina on Dagda's coast, with her ancestors having come to Dagda from Fódlan. She inherited a godmark from her father, but as the local temple claimed that the gods never made such a mark, she and her father were treated as pariahs.

Esmeralda has been chained to a pillar to be sacrificed to the local sea beasts attacking the village's fishing vessel. Knowing that if she attempted to flee, they would sacrifice her mother instead, so she willingly offers herself up. Randa, the son of headsman, offers to free her if she marries him, but Esmeralda refuses as he was the primary reason why Sinza went out to fish when the waters were rough, resulting in his death. While awaiting her fate, a beautiful stranger, Dietrich, arrives in the village and asks her why she is in her state and she tells him of her plight. The following morning, she is placed at the coast near the monster's den. The first sea beast that approaches her has a spear embedded in its forehead, which she recognizes as her father's spear. Before the beast can devour her, the stranger from the previous day cuts her free from her chains. Seeking revenge on the beast that killed her father, Esmeralda joins the battle, helping to kill Redears. After slaying the beast, revealing that she has a Crest when she is safely able to remove Answerer from a rock after Redears disarmed Dietrich, Esmeralda reclaims Sinza's Trident. Back in the village, the villagers are angered that she escaped, but thanks to Dietrich and Fabio helping her to fend off Randa and the village shaman, they disperse. Ironically, thanks to their efforts, by killing Redears, the other sea beasts will likely leave the village, allowing them to safely fish once more. Angered over the village's treatment of her, Esmeralda decides to join Dietrich on his journey to serve as an actual guide for him as a local Dagdan. Esmeralda uses spears as her weapons.
