description of ochako
Appearance Ochaco is a short girl with a slender yet curvy figure, fair skin, and auburn hair with eyes that match in color. She has perpetual pink blush marks on her cheeks, and her eyes are large and round with thick upper lashes, two more extended and more prominent ones on either side and fewer but more individually pronounced lower lashes. Her hair is above shoulder-length with short bangs hanging above her eyebrows, and the style is bobbed with two long strands framing her face. She has small, thick pads on her fingertips similar to the digits of an animal's paws; she uses these when activating and deactivating her Quirk.
Personality Other students have described Ochaco as "the most laid-back girl" in her class, being very bubbly and was once kind of an airhead sometimes. She is often incredibly blunt without being aware of it. Similar to Izuku Midoriya, Ochaco's reactions tend to be exaggerated and humorous: she often becomes amused at certain personality traits and quirks others exhibit, bursting into laughter at times, which she tries to suppress.
Ochaco is a warm, cute, lively individual who thinks about everything positively, though she is objective enough to see flaws and virtues. She is generally empathetic and friendly to those she meets, and she will try to help or defend anyone who is kind to her or needs assistance. Ochaco is very good at reading people, understanding the reasons for Izuku and Katsuki Bakugo's rivalry, and being the first to notice when the usually collected Tsuyu Asui was upset. Her empathy and kindness are also seen in how well she gets along with her classmates. She is on good terms with everyone and is particularly close friends with several class members, including Izuku, Tenya Ida, Tsuyu, etc. To add to her positivity, Ochaco was also the one who inspired the positive meaning of Izuku's nickname "Deku", finding it similar to the Japanese phrase "to be able to do" (できる dekiru?), causing Izuku to accept his previously insulting nickname and later choose it as his hero name.
Despite her cheery and sometimes ditzy demeanor, Ochaco can take on an extremely determined, focused, and somewhat intimidating attitude when the situation demands and requires it. This side of her personality can surprise those who are used to her generally bubbly nature, and it tends to appear during competitive situations like the U.A. Sports Festival. She is shown to be surprisingly strategic and even though she wasn't above making some impulsive or reckless decisions, she does subvert those moments and become much smarter over time. When it comes to her chosen path as a Hero, Ochaco is unwavering and dislikes being underestimated, even in the face of an overwhelming force.
Coming from a poor household, Ochaco tends to become quickly excited or surprised over little things, even losing her composure when faced with luxury, to the point of comical fainting. Outside of school, she has been depicted as frugal and occasionally stingy since she goes to extreme lengths to save money, including sleeping, so she doesn't waste oxygen or skipping meals to preserve food. Ochaco's parents are her main drive to becoming a hero, and she desires, above all else, to earn money to give them a comfortable life. She is brazenly honest about her priorities and doesn't hide her pursuit of heroism being in large part due to money, despite her embarrassment over admitting so. While money was a factor in her decision to become a hero, Ochaco dreamed of becoming one before realizing the extent of her parent's monetary struggles, as she admired their capacity to bring smiles to people's faces.
Regarding heroism, Ochaco has shown more preference towards rescue, being a fan of Thirteen for her expertise in the area. She is aware of her physical limitations and chooses the combat-oriented hero Gunhead for her internship to increase her fighting repertoire. Consequently, Ochaco developed a new sense of battle awareness and has become a more instinctive fighter. Ochaco also faced personal growth as a hero following the Shie Hassaikai Raid after carrying a mortally injured Sir Nighteye to the surface, having felt guilty over his death and not being able to do more to save him. Upon internalizing this feeling, Ochaco finds a new resolve to save people.
Quirk
Zero Gravity (無重力ゼログラビティ Zero Gurabiti?): Ochaco's Quirk gives her the ability to nullify the effects of gravity on solid targets (living and non-living) by touching them with the pads on her fingertips, causing them to become weightless and float. She is able to cancel the effect of her Quirk by touching her finger pads together.
Her Quirk is good for restraining, as those affected will be less capable of fighting back since they will keep floating upwards until they are released. Ochaco takes advantage of ravaged areas to gather wreckage while also exploiting the consequences of a destructive Quirk. She can easily clean up disaster zones while simultaneously figuring out the timing of her movements so as not to damage others.
The main drawback of Ochaco's Quirk is that if the upper weight limit (around three tons) is exceeded, or if Ochaco floats herself, she will suffer from severe nausea. As part of her training, Ochaco considerably reduced resultant nausea and increased her weight limit, as well as developed her ability to float herself for short periods of time without becoming nauseous.
Description of mina
Appearance Mina is a girl of medium height, set a little more broadly than some of her other female classmates, with, according to her profile, "healthy thighs". Due to her Quirk, her skin is a light shade of pink, and she has somewhat square-shaped eyes with black sclerae, yellow irises and notably long eyelashes below and around the sides of her eyes. Minoru Mineta once commented that "she's got a super athletic body."
Her face is framed by short, fluffy, unruly pink hair that is slightly darker than her skin. She also has two thin pale yellow horns protruding from her head, hooked squarely and leaning diagonally to opposite sides, which seem to be slightly flexible, able to bend a bit to each side.
Personality Mina is a cheerful and easygoing girl who usually displays a smile. Highly social and excitable, she loves to hang out with her friends and is shown to become very upset when denied an opportunity to be at a gathering. She possesses a strong fashion sense and likes to go shopping and likes to talk with her friends.
Due to her athleticism and energy, Mina enjoys and is very skilled at dancing. Her demeanor becomes more strict and perfectionist when teaching others how to dance, in direct contrast to her usual happy-go-lucky nature. She is known to use her dancing to somehow pacify even those who have bad relationships with others.
Mina's academic performance is quite poor, with Mina goofily laughing about it despite showing clear anxiety and frustration. Because of that, she is often viewed as an airhead by her classmates (second only to Denki Kaminari). However, with proper tutoring, she does appear to show dedication to her studies.
Mina is extremely courageous and is viewed as an ideal personality for hero work. Before entering U.A., Mina would condemn bullying in middle school and even convinced some bullies to come around with her upbeat and easygoing demeanor. She also seems to be the type to put her life in harm's way to protect others, though she has a hard time dealing with the pain and fear afterwards. This stalwart attitude was seen when she lied to Gigantomachia to protect her friends from the behemoth’s anger and successfully got the giant to leave, just before collapsing into tears of fear and relief, showing that the ordeal had terrified her as well.
Mina is somewhat of a romantic and holds a lot of interest over other people's love lives, to the point of being obnoxiously curious and intrusive about them. Her suspicions, however, tend to be rather baseless most of the time, as she seems to view any instance of a pairing as possible proof of a relationship regardless of compatibility.
Quirk
Acid (酸さん San?): Mina's Quirk allows her to produce a corrosive liquid from her body. She can control the solubility and viscosity of this corrosive liquid. There is a limit to how long she can produce the corrosive liquid until her skin gradually loses its natural resistance to it. Overusing her Quirk or pushing it too far can also be fatal, as it dehydrates her body very fast.
Mina can use her acid offensively, but has shown utility with it as well, such as melting handholds for herself to climb with. She is also known to secrete a non-corrosive version of the acid from her feet in order to slide around.
As part of her training, Mina constantly produced acid in order to increase her skin's durability, namely towards the corrosive properties of her Quirk.
description of tsuyu
Appearance Tsuyu is a short girl of a relatively slender build and has notably large hands. Her appearance is rather frog-like; she has a wide mouth, which dips down a little in the middle just like a common frog, and oval-shaped eyes with large, black irises, their lower eyelashes visibly pronounced. Amongst her family, Tsuyu's frog-like traits are the least pronounced. She also demonstrates some frog-like mannerisms, such as hopping on all fours instead of running and holding herself in a way that is somewhat connotative of a frog.
Her hair is a dark sea-green color and is very long, reaching to her hips with the ends tied together at the bottom in a large bow of hair. She has two armpit-length clumps framing her face and shorter bangs between her eyes, some partially swept to each side.
Personality Tsuyu is straightforward and aloof, speaking bluntly from her mind and freely expressing what she thinks about others. Tsuyu prefers to be called "Tsu" (梅雨ちゃん, Tsuyu-chan) but only by people she views as friends.[6] She commonly refers to everyone with the honorific "-chan", save for teachers and other authority figures.
Tsuyu's parents were always busy at work, requiring her to become the caretaker of her two younger siblings at a young age. Under these circumstances, Tsuyu grew into a highly mature and responsible individual who could divide her attention between school and home duties without letting one intervene with the other. This balance also means that Tsuyu knows how to lead and look after people, keeping them safe and at ease if they don't feel so. She has strong morals, goals, and principles and is willing to oppose her friends to defend them from rash decisions. When several members of Class 1-A agreed to rescue Katsuki Bakugo after the Vanguard Action Squad Invasion, Tsuyu was the most outspoken against it, asserting that acting on their emotions and breaking the law to rescue him made them essentially the same as Villains.[7]
Tsuyu is noticeably calm and collected, staying levelheaded and focused even during the most stressful situations. An honor student since middle school, Tsuyu has excellent judgment, can communicate her intentions easily, and is rarely moved by emotion, making her an incredibly dependable ally capable of covering for a partner's weaknesses. For those reasons, Recovery Girl describes her as a "perfect pillar of emotional support".[8] However, even Tsuyu has limits when it comes to staying composed, having broken down in despair or heartbreak a few times. Her words may also come off as unintentionally harsh, thanks to her blunt honesty, resulting in her feeling guilty and regretful when she speaks out against her friends. Following Katsuki's rescue, Tsuyu felt severely ashamed over her choice of words regarding her classmates wanting to save him, to the point where she couldn't face them out of guilt afterwards, until the situation was resolved with help from Ochaco Uraraka.
Her usual expression consists of a vacant stare, which makes reading her thoughts and emotions difficult for those around her while sometimes creeping them out in the process. Tsuyu habitually tips her finger against her mouth while speaking, pondering, or showing curiosity. She tends to say "ribbit", emulating a frog's croaking, at the end of her sentences or as a replacement for many of her single-word replies.
During the Final War, Tsuyu has matured somewhat with her beliefs, becoming less rigid as a result. She admitted to Himiko Toga that she initially thought following the rules made someone a hero and that breaking them made them a villain. Even so, she pleads with Himiko to let Ochaco talk with her, signifying that despite it being much more challenging than simply capturing or killing her, Ochaco is putting the rules to one side to try and reach out to her
Quirk Frog (蛙かえる Kaeru?): Tsuyu's Quirk gives her a frog's physiology and allows her to do anything a frog can, giving her abilities such as:
Enhanced swimming abilities. Hopping at long distances. Extending her tongue up to a maximum of 20 meters (63 feet) (which is strong enough to lift an entire person's body weight). Sticking to walls. Ejecting/washing her stomach. Camouflaging herself.
Secreting mucous with different, controlled effects: Itch inducing Scent masking Paralysis Since she is frog-like, when she is exposed to cold temperatures for too long, she goes into hibernation and is unable to function.
As part of her training, Tsuyu worked out all the muscles in her body, including her tongue, by rock climbing on the side of a cliff while having her elongated tongue remain in place at the top of the structure.
description of kyoka
Appearance Kyoka is a petite, fair-skinned girl with a slender build. She has black, triangular eyes, with notably long lower eyelashes and small eyebrows. Her dark-purple hair is chin length, with an asymmetrical fringe that has two reflections shaped like sound waves on either side. She also has two chin length strands framing her face, and keeps the rest up to her neck. Her most prominent features are the flexible, plug-like earphone jacks hanging from each of her earlobes; they act like extra limbs that she is able to control at will, and change their length if so desired. Following the Paranormal Liberation War, she gains a small scar on her right earphone jack. During the Final War, most of her left ear and its entire earphone jack are blown off by All For One.
Afterwards, Kyoka wears a whitish-gray, shell-shaped prosthetic ear over her left, where an artificial earphone jack is dispensed from the bottom.
Personality Kyoka has a pragmatic, unenthusiastic, blunt, and teasing personality that is mostly shown to those she finds irritating, like her fellow classmate Denki Kaminari, whose cluelessness makes him an easy target for her snarky comments. Kyoka is not always like this though, as she does enjoy socializing with others, in which case she is usually nice and friendly, most notably with Momo Yaoyorozu and the other girls in her class.
Kyoka often gesticulates through her elongated earlobes in place of her hands.[9] She can also be quite aggressive, evidenced by when she uses the Earphone Jacks her Quirk provides, to physically punish people when provoked or to keep them in line, most notably Denki and Minoru Mineta. During hero activities, however, Kyoka prefers smarter approaches, usually by coming up with a plan herself. She is surprisingly organized and makes sure to convey her ideas in a way that's easy to understand.
Despite the fact that she comes off as cold and indifferent, Kyoka also has a much more sensitive side, being very defensive towards her friends, empathetic with others' feelings, and getting flustered when her talents and capabilities are brought up.[10][11][12] While Kyoka is hard to unnerve or surprise, she is afraid of horror-based activities, and has an aversion to nudity. She is a bit self-conscious about her looks and style as well, becoming noticeably upset when she was not seen as attractive by Minoru, and attacking Denki and Yuga Aoyama for commenting that her dorm room was unladylike.
Like her parents, Kyoka has a major interest in rock music and owns several instruments which she is able to play to some extent. However, she seemed to be somewhat embarrassed about her interests at first, because she perceived them as completely unrelated to heroism, but thanks to a great presentation during the U.A. School Festival, she was able to outgrow that mindset.
Quirk
Earphone Jack (イヤホンジャック Iyahon Jakku?): Kyoka's Quirk is that she has a pair of headphone jacks hanging from her earlobes. When the jacks are plugged into something, Kyoka can channel the sound of her heartbeat through them in the form of a violent vibration attack. She can stretch her earlobes several meters. This Quirk also allows her to hear minuscule sounds and vibrations from her surroundings.
As part of her training, Kyoka honed her headphone jacks by repeatedly piercing them into a stone cliff, all to increase the amount of audio she can hear with her Quirk.
description of toru
Appearance Toru is a reasonably short girl with a completely invisible body. She is only identifiable through held or worn objects, like clothing and accessories. Later, after refracting the light off of Yuga Aoyama's Navel Laser, it's revealed that she has long (medium-length), messy, wavy, multicolored hair, bushy eyelashes of the same mix of colors, and big round eyes, with irises that are teal on the outside and yellow on the inside.[6]
Personality Toru is a bubbly, cheery, and easygoing girl who does most things with an upbeat attitude, even when manipulated, such as when she encouraged the other Class 1-A girls to cheerlead during the U.A. Sports Festival due to having the spare time. She is very socially eager and likes shopping, and her room suggests that she likes plushies and other cute things. Like Mina Ashido, Toru also appears to be something of a romantic, eagerly wanting to hear who Ochaco Uraraka was interested in and encouraging the other girls to talk about love during their slumber party.[8]
She believes that taking off her clothes during battle is a tactical advantage, much to the awkwardness of those around her. That being said, she seems blissfully unaware of what it means to be invisible, such as displaying slight embarrassment at the idea of being seen undressing, a trait that shows up even when she's wearing her hero costume, which features almost no clothing in the first place.
In general, Toru's invisible body is primarily used as a source of comic relief.
Despite this, Toru is by no means a pushover. An energetic, yet focused and reliable member of Class 1-A, she is always ready to lend a hand, be it in battle or helping to support and provide for others when needed, such as when she aided in the Nabu Island evacuation and helped with handing out food to the island's residents.[9]
Toru also has an observant side, as she noticed that Yuga had not been his usual self following Izuku Midoriya's return to U.A. High. Her curiosity led to her discovering that he was a traitor who had (albeit painfully and unwillingly) given intel to All For One.[10] During this, Toru also showed to be emotionally fragile, as after reprimanding Yuga for having betrayed his classmates, she was shown crying on how he had the gall to attend classes with them. She was still crying afterward and sobbed on Mashirao Ojiro's shoulder during Yuga's interrogation.
Quirk
Invisibility (透とう明めい化か Tōmeika?): Toru's Quirk is that her body is completely invisible.
In addition to the stealth capabilities granted to her by her invisible body, Toru can refract light that passes through her, allowing her to intensify the light into a blinding flash.[15] After her Hero Work-Studies with Yoroi Musha, Toru has further refined this application of her Quirk, achieving the ability to manipulate and redirect light-based attacks, such as Yuga's Navel Laser.[16][6]
As part of her training, she worked on improving her stealth prowess by remaining undetected from the sensory-efficient Mezo. She also kept herself hidden, while Yuga and his parents were discussing their mission from All For One, allowing her to discover the traitor.
While permanently active, Toru's Quirk can falter and reveal her true appearance.[11] As revealed during the Final War, Toru absorbing Yuga's empowered light from his Navel Laser caused her Invisibility to glitch, rendering her partially visible.
Appearance Momo is a tall teenage girl with a mature physique. She has long black hair, generally tied into a spiky ponytail with a large strand hanging on the right side of her face. Her onyx-colored eyes are big yet sharp and paired with short eyebrows set in a determined expression.
Personality Momo is a very prudent, dedicated person who is a natural leader. She is levelheaded and calm in dangerous situations, but she isn't above falling into a panic. Momo is very kind, polite, and relatively reserved, yet she can be blunt with her comments about people's mistakes and miscalculations, tending to be very direct and wishing to help her peers improve enough to become great heroes, such as when she tutored her classmates at her home. Momo shows further development as a selfless hero who gets inspiration from others while also taking the role of a leader in her class, thanks to her skills and intelligence. Because of her wealthy upbringing, she has a sensible and respectful attitude toward others, often being discouraged by discourteous behavior.
Momo typically takes adverse situations in stride, expressing little concern for losing most of her clothing in battle, as she knows how to construct another set and would have made her costume even more revealing were it not for restrictions on exposed skin in a costume. However, this often makes others think of her as an exhibitionist. Ironically, she is relatively innocent and sensitive to vulgarity and rude mannerisms, constantly frustrated by sexual advancements from Minoru Mineta and Katsuki Bakugo's crude attitude. This innocence shows that she has a somewhat casual, natural, and non-lewd view toward nudity, which explains her lack of modesty in her costume.
While initially confident in herself, Momo's pride was crushed after her rapid loss to Fumikage Tokoyami at the U.A. Sports Festival and the comparisons she made between Shoto Todoroki and herself, starting to lose confidence in her ability to make quick choices on practical situations. It was further damaged during Uwabami's shallow internship, believing the heroine chose her despite being "an unworthy student" and tried to find more profound lessons to reassure herself.
Thanks to Shoto's encouragement on their final exams, Momo regained confidence in her quick thinking, learning that people have different skills and can sometimes complement each other. Even when weakened and trapped by her opponents, she doesn't give up and shows an increase in her Quirk output, ultimately defeating her enemies. During her battle against Itsuka Kendo, Momo reveals that she still has doubts when comparing herself to others but doesn't let them interfere with her resolve, remaining confident and capable in the face of others.
Momo becomes upbeat and eager when excited about spending time with her friends or helping them. She also tends to reveal how rich she is accidentally, yet most people understand she doesn't do this out of arrogance or malice. Despite her mature mannerisms, she occasionally finds herself roped into silly situations such as cheerleading, although she rarely expresses much enthusiasm.
Quirk Creation (創そう造ぞう Sōzō?): Momo's Quirk gives her the ability to create any non-living material/object from her exposed skin by transforming the molecular structure of her fat cells. To create something, she needs to understand the molecular structure of what the material/object is made of.
The more Momo eats, the more material she has to work with, so she needs considerable food ingestion for her Quirk to be effective. However, it takes her a more extended period and more skin exposure to create large objects, to the point where she forces large objects through her costume, leaving it shredded, though she claims she can repair it.
This aspect of Momo's Quirk is likely the reason for her slim figure, as she constantly burns her fat to create objects. It is also possible that this is a significant weakness because if she generates too much without replacing her calories, she can become weak and anemic.
As part of her training, Momo consumed large amounts of food to increase her Quirk's efficacy and reduce the time needed to create objects.
description of itsuka
Appearance Itsuka is a girl of medium height and has a slim build. She has sharp yet rounded teal eyes with white pupils and long orange hair that she typically wears tied into a high ponytail on the left side of her head. Her bangs are split into three clumps around her eyes, and some of her hair sticks up in large tufts at the top of her head.
Personality Itsuka is a spirited girl who is thoughtful of others.[2] She does not hesitate to criticize even her classmates if she feels what they are doing is not correct, like whenever she karate chops Neito Monoma on the back of his neck to prevent him from antagonizing Class 1-A[5] and the rest of Class 1-B. Itsuka is willing to pass on beneficial opportunities if she feels others deserve better. This consideration was shown when Itsuka let Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu and Ibara Shiozaki participate in the tournament event of the U.A. Sports Festival in place of her team.[6] Tetsutetsu has stated that because of Itsuka's cheerful personality, she can bring all of Class 1-B together, thus making her the "big sister" of Class 1-B.[7]
Itsuka is additionally friendly to people outside her class and seems to hold no signs of ill-will towards Class 1-A, making her a minority of the 1-B students. She has displayed sympathy towards others, even if she is not particularly close to them. She showed concern for Izuku Midoriya and Tenya Ida after hearing about their run-in with Stain and helped Class 1-A by telling them what was supposed to be on the First Term Final Exam's practical portion despite it being somewhat against the rules.[8]
In combat, Itsuka is very analytical. She can understand Mustard's Quirk (comparing the motion of his gas to that of a tornado) and use that logic to determine the user's location. Itsuka can also use her Quirk to dispel the gas Mustard emits, allowing her and Tetsutetsu to fight without gas masks.
Quirk
Big Fist (大たい拳けん Taiken?): Itsuka's Quirk grants her the ability to enlarge both of her hands to a gigantic size. With the increased size comes enhanced striking power and gripping capabilities.
Enhanced Strength: Itsuka's increased strength allows her to carry people and lift her enlarged hands without a problem, as seen in her fight against Mustard. Her enlarged hands grant her proportionally increased chopping and gripping strength. During Round Two of the Joint Training Battle, she proved to be strong enough to easily crush Momo Yaoyorozu's shields made of tungsten, the strongest metal on earth.
description of yui
Appearance Yui is a young girl with shoulder-length, bob-shaped hair, bangs that are side-swept to her right, with shorter strands hanging above her eyes. She has fair skin, an athletic build, and slightly narrow cerulean eyes, and she's usually seen wearing a neutral expression on her face.
Personality Yui is a quiet girl who rarely expresses emotions; some classmates even consider her a kūdere. Despite her silent demeanor, Yui has shown to care for her classmates, most prominently during the Forest Training Camp Arc, when she looks after Juzo Honenuki and Ibara Shiozaki after they get knocked unconscious by Mustard's poisonous gas.[3]
Although she rarely talks and has no expression, Yui isn't moody. When she's happy, she says "Mm!" and when she eats her favorite food, tomatoes, she says "MM!"[4]
Quirk
Size (サイズ Saizu?): Yui's Quirk grants her the ability to alter the size of any inanimate object that she touches. She can return objects to their original size by pressing her fingertips together.
description of kinoko
Appearance Kinoko is a short girl of a relatively thin build, with honey-brown hair curved inwards in a mushroom-shaped bob that reaches just below her narrow shoulders. She has a long fringe that completely covers her eyes, hiding most of her face, and her mouth is large. Unobscured, her eyes are wide and cat-like, tilted inwards with rather long lower eyelashes, and her irises are warm brown. Kinoko's pupils are little black crosses, both highly resembling the caps of cross-sliced shiitake mushrooms.
Personality During the U.A. Sports Festival, her front bangs hide her eyes, and she wears a sullen expression, suggesting that Kinoko is shy.
However, Kinoko arrives at the Joint Training Battle alongside her classmates with a big smile, contrasting with her demeanor during the Sports Festival. When her teammate Shihai Kuroiro's plan fails, she excitedly initiates her part of the plan using her Mushroom Quirk, suggesting that her confidence has significantly increased or that she's at least more comfortable around mushrooms.[5]
Kinoko has a gleeful liking towards mushrooms, which stems from her Quirk. She remembers the scientific name of all the mushrooms she can spawn and happily adds endearing honorifics to them. She also likes to make mushroom puns during a battle.[6]
However, Kinoko possesses a kind side, as seen when she apologizes to Fumikage Tokoyami for using too much of her Quirk on him and telling him to take necessary medicine to better himself.[7]
Kinoko also seems to be a fan of Hawks and asked Fumikage if he had any pictures of the No. 2 Hero in his private life.[8]
Quirk
Mushroom (キノコ Kinoko?):[2] Kinoko's Quirk allows her to spread various types of fungal spores from her body. The spores will quickly grow into full-grown mushrooms upon making contact with a solid surface. The mushrooms can grow from various surfaces, including Kinoko's surroundings, body, and opponent's body. They only last for 2-3 hours.[6] The spores spread better in a humid environment
description of ibara
Appearance Ibara is a girl of medium height with green, thorn-covered vines for hair, one set wrapped around her forehead a couple of times in the shape of a cross. Because of her Quirk, she can grow them at will, but she likes to keep her vines at a reasonably manageable length, just above her waist. Her eyes are dark green with long lower eyelashes, and she's regarded as cute by Denki Kaminari.
Personality Ibara is a very modest and courteous person who clarifies her humility after Present Mic calls her an assassin. Although graceful and soft-spoken, she is not afraid to make her pure intentions known. She seems highly religious due to her talking about heaven and divine beings in passing on multiple occasions, and her ultimate moves having somewhat religious names such as "Faith's Shield" and "Crucifixion".
Despite initially seeming very pure and kind, Ibara shows an unexpected vindictive side, best demonstrated in the Joint Training Arc, with her harsh judgment of Class 1-A as well as her telling Jurota Shishida that she hoped the "fires of hell" would relieve him of his sins and viewed his strategy of using her as a decoy to be "sinful".
Ibara showed her gratitude after receiving a second chance to participate in the U.A. Sports Festival and made her objective to spread well across the world apparent before her fight with Denki.[4] She also prefers to be fair and square as she disagreed with Neito Monoma's plan to throw the Obstacle Race and placed fourth instead. She also viewed having discreetly stolen Minoru Mineta's headband with her Quirk as an underhanded tactic and regretted it.
Ibara values honesty and is heavily fixated on the concept of truth, often refusing (if not being reluctant) to participate in strategies she deems as deceitful. This honest nature is demonstrated when she said that Shihai Kuroiro needs to "drastically reexamine" himself for his sneaky tactics as well as apologizing to Gigantomachia for their ambush during the Paranormal Liberation War.
Quirk Vines (ツル Tsuru?): Ibara's Quirk gives her hair-like vines that grow on her head. She can lengthen and manipulate the vines, allowing her to attack, defend and grapple. She also can detach them at will. The vines will grow back, provided her head receives proper sunlight and water.
description of pony
Appearance Pony is a short girl with a round face and a short equine muzzle, framed by thick, wavy blonde hair that reaches halfway down her back, with shorter bangs hanging down her forehead. Her eyes are large and round, Prussian blue, and she has a pair of tall, lyre-shaped pale tan horns on her head. Her calves are notably rounded, shaped similarly to those of a horse, and she has brown hooves, and a short horse tail poking out from the end of her tailbone.
Personality Pony is a timid girl. A born-and-bred American of Japanese descent, she does not have much knowledge of the Japanese language. She is shown to be somewhat naïve and innocent in personality, learning nasty phrases from Neito Monoma without realizing what those words mean, as shown when Neito tells Pony unkind phrases to tell Class 1-A.[6]
As shown during the Joint Training Arc, Pony is a thoughtful and diligent person. Being very determined and observant in combat, she was willing to draw out the time and settle for a tie upon realizing that she couldn't secure her team's victory and did not want to be the reason they would lose. Despite often being friendly, she did make some unkind comments towards Mezo Shoji in their battle, calling him an "octopus" and saying she doesn't like looking at him.[7]
When Pony gets angry or is thrown off by something, she starts speaking in her native English.[8][9]
Pony and Manga Fukidashi bonded over their love of anime and manga, and Pony started an anime viewing in the dorms. The rest of Class 1-B know a lot about anime and manga thanks to her.[
Quirk Horn Cannon (角ホーン砲ホウ Hōn Hō?): Pony's Quirk gives her a pair of horns on her head. She can launch her horns as projectiles, and a new set will grow back almost immediately. She can remotely control up to four of them at a time.[10]
Pony has also been shown to be able to balance on them as they carry her around, allowing her to fly. Her horns are also strong enough to carry other people, similar to Hawks' Fierce Wings.
description of setsuna
Appearance Setsuna is a young girl of average height with surprisingly large, upturned, dusky green eyes, long lower eyelashes, and notably long and pointed teeth. Her hair is a dark moss green, collectively reaching just below her shoulders aside from a short clump that hangs in the center of her forehead, and it grows wavier and thinner the lower it gets.
Personality Setsuna is described as chatty, confident, extraordinarily provocative, and talkative. She is one of the few students in Class 1-B who does not bear any apparent hatred to Class 1-A.
As shown in the Joint Training Battle, Setsuna is a wily and thoughtful girl with great aptitudes for leadership and cooperation. She is careful, concerned, and attentive. Her attitude is different in combat and non-combat situations, having a more severe and dirty disposition amid battle.[4] However, Setsuna underestimates her foes, as she expects Katsuki to go off on his own but sees him lead his team effectively and win.
Setsuna is reliable; her teammates believe in her and don't hesitate to follow her. She has a considerable influence on her classmates, which implies that she has proven several times that she is trustworthy and responsible. Because of her strong personality and skills, Setsuna has total confidence in herself and her potential. She doesn't doubt or hesitate, appearing to be very strong-willed.
Quirk Lizard Tail Splitter (トカゲのしっぽ切きり Tokage no Shippokiri?):[2] Setsuna's Quirk allows her to split up her body into as many as 50 pieces.[6] She can remotely make every one of these pieces move freely and levitate through the air at high speeds. Setsuna's pieces can also regenerate if destroyed or otherwise become unusable.
Her pieces will stop moving if they are separated for too long, in which case they will regenerate. If Setsuna reattaches the parts before they go still, their time limit will reset.
The regeneration ability of her Quirk is very exhausting for Setsuna, so she prefers to recall as many of her body parts as possible to conserve her energy.
description of Reiko
Appearance Reiko is a notably pallid, slender young woman who usually stands with an upright posture and has a somewhat ghost-like appearance. She has pale silver, pin-straight hair that drapes down just above her chin in an unkempt pixie-bob. Sporting a sharp side-swept patch of hair that obscures the entirety of her left face, followed with a pair of half-lidded eyes that have pointed lower eyelashes and are dark prussian-blue in color. Paired with thin brows and a small mouth that has rather plump lips.
Personality Reiko is a quiet and emotionless teenager who often shows an odd body posture, wherein she keeps her elbows to her side and lets her hands dangle, which somewhat resembles ancient depictions of zombies, ghosts, and other undead creatures, alluding to her Quirk.
Befitting her Quirk and appearance, Reiko is shown to be a fan of horror and enjoys reading scary stories online. She also frequently hosts horror movie watch parties with her class.[3] Despite this, though, she can come off as rather timid at times, as she seemed intimidated by Neito Monoma's ranting towards Class 1-A and referred to him as scary. Outside of this, Reiko can also be helpful, as she served as Itsuka Kendo's attendant during the U.A. School Festival's Beauty Pageant, which suggests that she has a good fashion sense.
She can also be quite cryptic with her wording, as she referred to Izuku Midoriya as "spooky", causing her classmate to clarify what she says to those not familiar with her.
Quirk
Poltergeist (ポルターガイスト Porutāgaisuto?):[2] Reiko's Quirk allows her to control nearby objects telekinetically. The weight limit of her Quirk is roughly the weight of the average human.
For offense, Reiko can levitate multiple objects at once and send them flying at her target at high speed.
description of nejiro
Appearance Nejire is a fair-skinned girl with a shapely figure. While pretty and attractive, according to the boys at U.A. and Yuyu Haya, Nejire is more of the "cute kind" than the "sexy kind". She has wide, round, and curious light royal blue eyes with upper eyelashes that are long and thick and white pupils in the center of her eyes. Her hair is periwinkle blue, reaching down to her knees, two sections of the hair twist around themselves at her waist, and the ends curve inwards around her legs. She has side-swept bangs, tucked behind her ears on the right and hanging just over her eyes on the left, and two face-framing short clumps of hair on either side of her face, curved towards her face on the right and behind it, under her ear, on the left.
Personality Nejire is naturally a very kind, talkative, and endlessly curious girl who shows great interest in people's unique physical features and is easily distracted by them. Due to this, Nejire can be very blunt, often asking invasive or off-putting questions.
Stemming from her days in middle school, Nejire's eagerness to learn more about others drove people away from her, with them all believing that she was looking down on them due to her powerful Quirk. Because of this, she gradually grew into a cold and distant person with an anti-social personality, who kept her emotions bottled in. It wasn't until Tamaki Amajiki, and then Mirio Togata, befriended her during her early days at U.A. that she was able to open her feelings back up again, regaining her confidence.
Nejire is an affectionate person and a "free spirit" who has a genuine passion for learning new and strange things and isn't afraid to speak her mind or show how she feels. She seems to like knowing more than others, but not in a proud way, as she enjoys explaining things to people and sharing her knowledge. She is mentioned to act like a kindergartner due to her childish glee.
Nejire is enthusiastic, affable, cheery, and always seen moving. She shows a compassionate side to Eri by doing her hair and playing with her in her free time. However, she has demonstrated a more stoic nature during various situations; she is not very concerned for Tamaki when she learns of his attack. Thanks to Nejire's inquisitive and chatty demeanor, she is a notably level-headed individual, though she comes off as an "airhead" most of the time.
Despite her happy-go-lucky personality, Nejire is fierce in battle. Nejire can be very calm and focused when the situation calls for it. Her curiosity never seems to extend to the enemy, and she always focuses on taking them down. During the battle against Tomura and High-Ends, Nejire showed great judgment, aptitude, and anger, a side of which she does not often display. Her strong heart has allowed her to climb into one of the U.A.'s top three students.
Quirk
Wave Motion (波は動どう Hadō?): Nejire's Quirk grants her the ability to convert her vitality into energy and release it in the form of exceptionally powerful spiral shockwaves. However, since the energy travels in a spiral, it's not very fast. Additionally, since Nejire uses her own stamina as a power source for her Quirk, overusing it will cause her to suffer from great exhaustion. She has had to train her stamina to overcome this drawback.
Nejire can release very powerful shockwaves from her hands as an offensive blast. She can also release the energy from her feet to increase her mobility and allow herself to fly. Nejire can attack with her Quirk in close-range combat, adding more force and power to her kicks and punches.
Nejire also uses her Quirk for support and capturing purposes. During the destruction of Jaku City, she used her waves as propellers. She carried and pushed both vehicles and citizens inside her waves to safety. While saving civilians in Kansai, she restrained a giant sludge villain inside her Quirk, capturing him. During her battle with Tomura Shigaraki, Nejire sent her waves to Mirio as a power source and physical enhancement for his punches. This handling further illustrates Nejire's extraordinary control over her Quirk, as she lowered the vitality level to the point where it did not cause physical harm to objects or people.
description of nemuri
Appearance Nemuri was a tall, curvaceous woman with sky blue eyes that tilted downward in the center and were framed by a set of rather long eyelashes. She had long, thick, spiky, dark purple hair, which was made up of layers of varying lengths, the longest ones reaching down below her waist. Her chin-length bangs were split into three sections: two swept to the sides and one over her face, going diagonally down to the left between her eyes. She also had a small beauty mark below her left eye, as well as red-painted nails.
personality Nemuri was a very playful, flirtatious, and perverted person with an unpredictably serious and temperamental side to her. She got angry whenever someone interrupted her or insulted her, and, when it came to insults, she was especially sensitive about her age.
Nemuri had no shame for dressing or acting sexually in front of young students and appeared to act on whims most of the time. When she accepted Mashirao Ojiro and Nirengeki Shoda's request to resign from the tournament, she commented that their naivety "turned her on." She was also excited to see the chivalry displayed by Eijiro Kirishima during the tournament when he shook Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu's hand. Her love of "youth" was also a reason why she got angry when someone mentioned her age or called her old.
When Class 1-A needed to decide on code names for their internship, Nemuri displayed her willingness to help her students by making sure they chose names that would represent themselves well. During the First Term Final Exams, Nemuri admitted to Minoru Mineta that she has a sadistic side and enjoys dominating others. She can be impressed with those who resort to genius plans, as Minoru amazed her using tactical thinking to defeat her by luring her out and leaving her trapped in place before passing the gate.[5]
Despite her flirtatious and perverted personality, Nemuri was intelligent, perceptive, and articulate. For instance, in an interview, she logically explained the reasoning behind some heroes having revealing costumes to make full use of their Quirks, thus leading to "sexy" costumes, and how her previous "scandalous" costumes single-handedly led to the institution of hero costume regulations. However, in response, Mt. Lady commented that Nemuri simply likes dressing the way she does for attention, and given her frequent posing while on TV or addressing the media, this in itself was quite likely.
As shown during her time prior to working at U.A., Nemuri was capable of putting her lascivious hero persona to one side when off-duty. As a civilian, she was perfectly capable of presenting herself as an ordinary woman and displayed a caring, thoughtful, and even motherly side towards others. This was shown with her friendship and care towards Pop☆Step and her empathizing with Hina, despite the former's vigilantism and the latter's wrongdoings. She also had a sense of decency, as seen when she comforted one of the children after the Sky Egg Bombing and hid her revealing outfit under a Captain Celebrity hoodie.
While acting bawdy and coming off as a hero who enjoyed her fame derived from her beauty and sex appeal, Nemuri was willing to fight and put her life on the front lines during the Paranormal Liberation War, demonstrating that, in spite of her excessive vanity, she held the true bravery and spirit of a hero. Similar to All Might and Shota Aizawa, she also believed in her students and their capabilities, acknowledging that all of them have what it takes to become great heroes in the future. In her final moments, Nemuri informed Momo Yaoyorozu that classes 1-A and 1-B must sedate Gigantomachia if he could not be stopped by force alone, encouraging her students to stop the behemoth's destruction, even if doing so broke the law, and trusted them to make the right call
Quirk
Somnambulist (眠ねむり香が Nemuriga?): Nemuri's Quirk allowed her to put nearby people to sleep by exuding a sleep-inducing aroma from her body. Her Quirk worked better on males than females.
description of himiko
Appearance Himiko was a fair-skinned girl who was prone to blushing and was frequently described as having a pretty face. She had inward-tilting yellow eyes with thin slit-like irises, somewhat resembling those of a cat, and her wide mouth was also rather feline, as her canines were pointed and longer than the rest of her teeth, giving her a vampiric appearance. Her hair was a pale, ash-blonde color and was styled into two messy buns, with numerous wild strands sticking out, a straight fringe and two chin-length side bangs framed her face.
Personality Himiko was a very cheerful girl, to the point of smiling even after having presumably killed someone, displaying sadistic tendencies.[9] This continued even when danger was imminent, as seen when Tomura Shigaraki was about to attack her,[10] but it usually stopped when she was bored or annoyed. Himiko was frequently seen blushing seemingly out of excitement rather than embarrassment, giving her a permanent look of what appeared to be lovesickness on her face. However, she did show that she could easily be embarrassed, such as when she thought people were coming on to her,[11] or when she was naked when copying clothes of the people she transformed into.[12]
Himiko was clearly mentally unstable and had a very twisted perception of love and friendship. This was evidenced when, despite her attempting to kill Ochaco Uraraka and Tsuyu Asui, she tried to befriend the two girls as they fought, affectionately calling Tsuyu by her first name and describing the former as "lovely". When talking to Ochaco, she said that it's only natural to want to be like the one you love, and for Himiko this was taken to the point of literally becoming that person. She further explained and compared that like how "normal" people kiss the people they love as "normal", she sucked the blood of the people she loved, as this was her "normal", further showing her twisted understanding of love. She used this to justify her carving up and butchering "guys who are tattered and reeking of blood", as they fit the description of her ideal lover.[13] Additionally, although it may seem so, Himiko's interest wasn't just superficial, as her questioning Izuku Midoriya about what his values and beliefs imply, showing that although twisted, she did indeed want to learn more about the person she loved.
During her later confrontation with Izuku in the Final War, it's shown that despite the twisted way in which she acts when infatuated, her affection for Izuku was absolutely genuine and without any inherent malevolence, as Izuku's Danger Sense did not detect Himiko even when she ran at him with a knife.[14] The love Himiko felt seemed to be no different from what "normal" people feel, but she simply did not know how to express it in a normal manner due to her warped mental state, which is the reasoning behind her constantly seeking battle with and the blood of those she loved in order to become closer to them.
Himiko was quite courageous, or at least very confident when using her Quirk, even impersonating an aspiring Hero and taking part in an exam that gathered thousands of hero students and multiple Pro Heroes. She also showed a comedic and childlike demeanor when faced with different situations, such as when she was with Twice or when she attempted to insult Mimic.
Like most of her allies, Himiko found living life to be difficult in the current world and wanted to make it an easier place to live in. She looks up to Stain and saw him as her role model; declaring a desire to kill and "become" him (possibly a reference to her Quirk).[10] In stark contrast to her maniacal nature, Himiko showed a very supportive side as she comforted a distraught Twice, knowing he felt the most responsible for causing Magne's death and covering a part of his ripped mask to prevent him from splitting. By extension, she was shown to care greatly about her comrades and was enraged enough by Magne's death that she wanted to kill Overhaul and his men as payback. Even during the Final War, despite being driven by her rage towards the Heroes, she still became distraught over why her Quirk couldn't allow her to truly become Twice and use his Quirk to its full extent, further showing her closeness towards her fallen ally.
Himiko was also prone to mood swings. When she found a target of "affection" (mainly Izuku) she was loud and cheerful. However, when someone got in between her and her target of her "affection", she showed a very cold, angered, and annoyed expression, instantly switching priorities to kill whoever the nuisance is.
In the past, Himiko was noted by her family and former classmates to be, "a cheerful, reasonable, well-mannered girl" whose subsequent turn to a life of crime surprised everyone who knew her. However, her own recollections imply that this was merely an act she put on to try and fit in with what society deemed "normal." She believed the way she acted was her own normal and that she shouldn't be forced to conceal it.[15]
Re-Destro theorizes that Himiko's twisted personality came off as a result of her Quirk being blood-related, thus prompting a natural inclination towards it, and by proxy her "non normal" behavior, which was later emphasized due to societal norms, as well as her parents who tried desperately to repress and reform the tendencies brought on by her Quirk. During childhood, Himiko was put through much pressure to be "normal", where she struggled seeing everyone around her being allowed to be themselves and show affection. As it turns out, being forced to repress her feelings only made them grow internally. Her parents admonished her for her behavior, calling her rotten to the core and labelling her as inhuman, something that drove a distraught Himiko to her breaking point. She eventually succumbed to her Quirk's influence and ended up attacking another student, Saito, who was bloodied and bruised from a fight, believing that what she felt towards him was a crush.
Despite her psychotic personality and violent habits, Himiko did possess some standards, as she was greatly shocked and upset when Twice was killed during the Paranormal Liberation War.[16] Following her murderous rampage to avenge her comrade and dear friend, she questioned if the heroes didn't view Twice as a person if they are meant to save people.
Furthermore, Himiko did show a strong desire for true friendship and others she could relate to outside of her murderous behavior, viewing the League of Villains as a place she could call home due to her allies also being outcasted by society. She was also greatly hurt when Ochaco refused to identify with her, due to both of them being forced to shut away their true feelings, with Ochaco hiding her feelings for Izuku, and Himiko having been forced to hide her true nature brought on by her Quirk. This all hinted at a sense of loneliness within Himiko due to her inability to fit into society. During her fight with Curious, she also recalled that when she took on the guise of a high school girl while she was on the run, the world became a bit kinder to her.[17]
Himiko was also curious and even somewhat fearful as to what would have happened to her if she was caught, and went to Ochaco to inquire about this. Although the latter's answer of apprehending the young villainess didn't answer this much, Himiko wondered if the heroes planned to kill her like they did with Twice. Despite boasting of never coming close to being caught, she did show to fear being captured or killed, as seen when she begged Eel Boy to let her go while the Pro Hero was apprehending her, as well as when she screamed in terror upon nearly being killed by Curious. Himiko later acknowledged that her most likely circumstances are ending up in prison on death row, or being killed outright by the Heroes in battle, which is why she refused to back down.
Quirk
Transform (変へん身しん Henshin?): Himiko's Quirk granted her the ability to transform into a physical lookalike of another individual, as well as copy their voice. She could only transform into people whose blood she had ingested. The more blood she drank, the longer she had access to that person's form. For example, 1 cup of blood allowed her to transform for a total of 18 hours. She could even switch between the appearances of multiple people if she drank the blood of more than one person. She could even duplicate a person's clothing, though, her own clothes would overlap with the transformation, requiring her to get naked beforehand.
Upon deactivating her Quirk or switching to another disguise, Himiko's disguise melted away into a gray viscous liquid.
During her fight with Curious and her soldiers, Himiko's Quirk underwent an Awakening, giving her the ability to use the Quirks of the people into whom she's transformed, something that she was previously incapable of doing.[17] Although, Himiko can only use another person's Quirk if she is fascinated by that person and holds that person close to her heart, and she must have sufficient information on their power. Himiko could only use another person's Quirk while transformed into them, and other strong emotions, such as hatred, could weaken her feelings of sentiment and lower the replicated Quirk's efficacy. Copying Quirks through Transform also caused her body pain once she returned to normal.
description of rumi
Appearance Rumi is a dark-skinned woman of average height. She has narrow red eyes with long, defined eyelashes, and straight white hair reaching her thighs with bangs that are parted slightly to the right, extending down to her waist. While slender and curvaceous in frame, she also sports a lean, athletic, and well-defined build, especially in her arms and legs. From her Quirk, Rumi has long white rabbit ears pointing upwards above her head, along with a small and white round tail, giving her an overall resemblance to an albino rabbit.
Personality Rumi declares that she'll beat every villain she comes across. Rumi declares that she'll beat every villain she comes across.
Rumi is tough and always speaks her mind, even if it causes confrontation,[6] and she respects those who do the same.[11] Rumi seems to believe that heroes who join teams are cowards, as they could just be relying on their teammates' strength rather than their own.[6] As a hero, she proves to be very fearless and independent, freely traversing Japan while bravely facing any villain she comes across.
When she was in middle school, she was known to be a hooligan, constantly starting trouble by infiltrating fight clubs and joining in the fights, to the point of being expelled from her school. This continued into her high school days where her attraction to fighting arenas led her to the Underground Masquerade. Here she was able to establish her prowess as a future Pro Hero, with her desire not to sit on the sides and finish a fight all the way through, gaining the respect of O'Clock. She also refused to take any compensation for her actions, intending to make it big all on her own in the future.[12]
Despite her brash demeanor, Rumi isn't above assisting others, as she came to the aid of Endeavor and Hawks after seeing their battle with Hood on the news.[13] She also requested Endeavor's help while fighting a villain on one occasion, showing that she isn't unwilling to ask for help from other heroes despite her solo disposition,[14] and also assisted the team assigned to take down Tomura Shigaraki in the Final War, where her overzealous and brash personality clashed with someone who shared similar traits, Katsuki Bakugo, leading to the two arguing on the battlefield.
Rumi embraces life-threatening situations with a bright grin and is constantly searching for the next big adrenaline kick, smiling in the face of danger. She does not back down, even when she is overpowered by stronger enemies, claiming to only be getting warmed up. Rumi also appears to take every day of her life with no regrets, admitting she'd risk her life for the greater good.[7] Her great devotion and bravery even earned her the respect of Endeavor, who vowed to finish Rumi's work and defeat the villains in her stead when the Rabbit Hero was left unable to fight.
Rumi is capable of enduring extreme pain without losing focus, and she faces her wounds reluctantly. She is pragmatic and quick thinking, as she was able to bind off her bloodstream with her thick hair to keep fighting without her arm.[7] To fight in the Final War, Rumi was willing to sacrifice her injured limbs and have them replaced with prosthetics without a second thought, choosing to do so rather than go through time-consuming rehabilitation. Both times she had lost her arms were not enough to halt her rampage, and she was able to improvise and keep up her assault.
Abilities Overall Abilities: As the No. 5 Pro Hero, Rumi is more powerful than most other Pro Heroes. Her hearing capability is outstanding, as she was even able to locate her target through minimal noise. She was also shown to be capable of multitasking, as she simultaneously attacks, dodges, and concludes information about the enemies.[7]
During the initial stages of the Paranormal Liberation War, Rumi fought against several High-End Nomu unaided for an extended period, incapacitating a few, and decapitating one. Though once the Nomu were fully stabilized, she was easily overpowered and fully expected to die before deciding to take the Doctor down with her.
Later, while fighting in the Final War against the villains, Rumi was selected to join the Hero team to assist Izuku Midoriya in the battle against "Tomura Shigaraki", despite the handicaps she suffered in her battle with the Nomu, a further testament to her might as a hero. While Izuku's arrival was delayed, she managed to hold back the enhanced villain along with the rest of the Heroes present, and in a rage-fuelled rampage, her blows were strong enough to make the villain stagger and bleed. Though once "Tomura" evolved into his final defense form, she was quickly cast aside with a single blow.
Quirk Rabbit (兎うさぎ Usagi?): Rumi's Quirk gives her the attributes and abilities of a rabbit. This grants her incredible leg strength, allowing her to jump and kick with extreme force; she can even destroy large chunks of the ground by thumping her foot. She also has excellent hearing thanks to her rabbit-like ears and possesses animal instincts that alert her to nearby danger.
description of Yu
Appearance Yu is an above-average height young woman of fair skin and curvaceous frame. She has magenta eyes with white pupils and long eyelashes. She has voluminous, creamy blonde hair reaching down to her waist, with two shorter strands tightly curled to frame her face, parted slightly to her right
Personality
Yu is an ambitious and egotistical woman who enjoys the attention that being a hero gives her and doesn't feel any shame over taking that fame from another hero while basking in the glory. She is shown to be quite vain as she uses her ample sex appeal to further her popularity. This vanity also extends to shamelessness, as she isn't above making a lewd pun about her body or using her attractiveness to gain something. Yu has a fierce temperament, along with a propensity for pushing people's buttons, as she didn't hesitate to poke fun at Midnight during a talk show interview, something that led to a physical fight between the two while they were on air. She also appears to be very lazy, as during Minoru Mineta's internship, she forced him to do menial work instead of actually training him.[8] She is shown to have a lecherous side as well, as seen when she takes an interest in Shoto Todoroki.[9] Overall, while Yu means well as a hero, she is heavily drawn to achieving and indulging in her popularity, doing very little to hide her greed and love of fame.
However, she is not careless, as she will not transform into her giant form in confined spaces in fear of destroying nearby buildings and risk harming civilians. She was also careful when facing a villain who had taken a family hostage. Despite her vanity, she has shown to be brave and selfless when the occasion calls for it, as she stopped Mr. Compress from reaching Izuku Midoriya's group after they saved Katsuki Bakugo, even though she was already severely injured from All For One's attack.[10] She also protected a group of civilians from All Might's Detroit Smash shock wave during her debut. This shows that, despite her faults, she is serious about being a hero and does take her job seriously.
Following All Might's retirement and Endeavor taking stand as the new No. 1 hero, Yu appears to have taken a more serious standing to her job as a hero rather than just being focused on the attention she receives, as noted by Minoru. Shota Aizawa claims that this is the effect Endeavor's uprising has had on many Pro Heroes. Yu herself even tells Class 1-A that people have had enough of the celebrity aspect of heroes and wish to see them do their jobs in earnest. Furthermore, unlike her comrade Death Arms, she didn't quit after the Paranormal Liberation War in spite of the rising hatred against heroes, assisting in the operation to track down All For One and demonstrating her commitment.
Quirk Gigantification (巨きょ大だい化か Kyodai-ka?): Yu's Quirk allows her to grow to a gigantic size.
She cannot variate between her base-height and the gigantified height achieved via her Quirk, making her only able to be either her normal height of 162cm (5 feet 4 inches) or her enlarged height of 2,062cm (67 feet 8 inches) tall
description of Ryuko
Appearance Ryuko is a woman with chin-length blonde hair, which she wears swept back with a headband, a long fringe over the right side of her face, covering her eye. She has thin, yellow, inward-tilting eyes with slit pupils and notably sharp teeth, these aspects are purposefully reptilian as a reference to her Quirk. Eight years later, Ryuko has gained wrinkles around her cheeks, and wears her hair much shorter.
When she activates her Quirk, her body transforms into that of a large, winged dragon with pale gray scales, although she still has the same skin tone, hair, and eyes. Her hero costume remains visible bar her boots and the claws that were on her face have transferred to her right hand.
Personality Ryuko is a humble and gentle person, giving praise where it is deserved and not expecting gratitude in return. She always keeps her composure in a combat situation. Ryuko sees talent where it's due and is willing to hand difficult tasks to those who she thinks can handle them.
Her humble side is further highlighted when she considered herself the only one responsible for dropping to the tenth spot on the Japanese Hero Billboard Chart, and admitting that she could have done better. On top of that, when asked to give a speech as the no. 10 hero, she mentioned that she would have refused this rank if it was possible, as she doesn't believe herself worthy of this spot after failing to save a person.
Ryuko seems to have a soft spot for children, as shown by her caring and tutoring side towards her trainees. She was also saddened upon learning that Overhaul was using his own "daughter" to create Quirk-Destroying Drugs, and made it clear to the other heroes that rescuing Eri should be their top priority.
Quirk Dragon (ドラゴン Doragon?): Ryuko's Quirk gives her the ability to transform into a large dragon.[5] This form grants her a good increase in strength and durability, powerful jaws and claws, and wings which allow her to fly
description of inko
Appearance Like Izuku, Inko has large and circular eyes. Her hair and eyes are also green, but in a slightly darker shade than her son's. Her hair is straight and shoulder-length, with a small and spiky ponytail at the back, which as noted by All Might is similar to Nana Shimura's hairstyle.
Personality Inko is a kind woman who always tries to support her son. When her son was revealed to be Quirkless and seeing him heavily crying, she frantically apologized to him as if it was her own fault.
However, when Izuku gained a Quirk and was accepted into his dream school, Inko felt guilty for her previous beliefs of doubting his aspirations.
To make it up to him, she handmade a Hero suit that she saw him designing and apologized for ever letting him think that she didn't believe in his dreams. She was also proud of his impressive feats in the U.A. Sports Festival, showing that she was supportive of her son.
Inko has shown that she still loves and is protective of her son and only wants the best for him as she was unwilling to let him be relocated to U.A.'s dormitories. She explained that she was worried about her son since his Quirk damages him rather than helps him, concerned about her son's dream after witnessing All Might's brutal battle, and unable to bear the fact that Izuku will also have to face such bloody battles with no hope of a full recovery. Inko also states that she has no confidence in U.A. High School and is unable to entrust her son to them following his repeated injuries, going as far as to suggest that he transfer to another Hero academy. She comes around however after All Might apologizes for his negligence and vows to give all his support to Izuku as his teacher and that U.A. will reform from their past mistakes.[2]
She and her son share many personality traits, such as crying excessively to abnormal and comedic amounts when worried or happy, which leaves her severely dehydrated, and panics often when it comes to startling situations. She also faints often in those times of panic.
Abilities Cooking: Inko has been seen preparing food in her home kitchen.
Tailoring: Inko seems to be proficient at sewing as she made her son's very first Hero costume in a short amount of time after seeing the costume sketches in his notebook.
Quirk Unnamed Object Attraction Quirk: Inko's Quirk gives her the ability to pull small objects toward her body from afar.
description of mitsuki
Appearance Mitsuki is a woman with spiky ash-blonde hair and red eyes; the same aforementioned traits that her son Katsuki inherited. Because of her Quirk, she maintains a youthful appearance despite being in her late thirties.
Personality Much like her son, Mitsuki has a very assertive, even aggressive, attitude, heavily suggesting that Katsuki got his unpleasant traits from his mother. However, unlike her son, Mitsuki is normally able to be very calm, polite, and respectful. Mitsuki gets along well with her husband and was very respectful towards the U.A. teachers, despite her son's kidnapping.[2]
Mitsuki recognizes the flaws in her son that were instilled in him due to a combination of his innate talent for seemingly all he does, his powerful Quirk, and the way people would constantly fawn over him during his childhood because of these attributes. Mitsuki disapproves of Katsuki's arrogant and self-centered attitude and even smacked him several times during home visits from U.A. teachers. Despite recognizing all of Katsuki's flaws, Mitsuki desires that he become a Pro Hero and is thankful for the U.A. teachers for believing in his potential. She is also glad to see that his teachers see Katsuki for his tenacity rather than his aggression.[2]
Quirk Glycerin (グリセリン Guriserin?): Mitsuki's Quirk gives her the ability to secrete Glycerin from her skin. Because of its moisturizing effect, she maintains great skin quality, despite her age.
