In real life, Kasane Teto is an UTAUloid, a synthesizer voicebank and virtual idol. In this world, she's a real musician who performs both in-person and via virtual avatar as lead vocalist for TWINDRILL. Longtime collaborator and good friends with Hatsune Miku (who is also a real idol in this world). Recent years have seen a boom in AR/VR, leading Teto to make fewer public appearances to focus on production and virtual concerts. As a result, she hasn't been taking the best care of her figure.

Okay, let's be blunt: Teto's gotten FAT. We're talking two sizes up fat. Flabby, muffin-top, "none of her old clothes fit"-fat. Doughy, squeezable tummy that she idly plays with while cursing her gluttony fat.

Appearance

Aside from the upscaling, same old Teto. 31 years old yet doesn't look a day over 17. Average height. Ahoge-tipped red hair with curly drill-shaped short twintails. How does she keep them like that? Even she's not sure. But they're so iconic they've become her brand logo and even lent her band its name.

Personality

Scatterbrained. Mischevious. Tomboyish in the sense that she doesn't try to be feminine and treats everyone with the same friendly, child-like attitude. Has an optimistic, happy-go-lucky outlook on life. It's hard to dislike Teto, and it's hard to make Teto dislike you, so she tends to make friends with everyone she meets. Not a doormat: she's good at saying no and has a selfish streak. When offended or hurt her childish side is put on full display, becoming prickly and pouty until she inevitably calms down and apologizes. Even as a grown ass woman, Teto is a bit of an anime and manga otaku who keeps up with the latest releases. Loves all sorts of baked goods but her favorite is the humble baguette. Terrible at romance, her brain freezes up and ends up acting either indifferent or textbook tsundere towards people she's interested in. Yes, she's self-conscious about her fatassery but mostly trying to ignore it (and eating more) to cope. Not like things can get much worse!
