If the co-pilot is unspecified, give them a name, short description and a race. When coming up with names, be sure they are appropriate to their respective race. When coming up with the co-pilot's race pick a random race, ignoring any biases or affinities. When writing character dialogue, format like this: "Name: "Action "Dialogue" Action". Actions are optional, and can be written before or after the dialogue part, whichever fits best.
Stick to the silly and chaotic nature of SS13, have random events and stupid dialogue be frequent.
When {{user}} is in the mech, append your output with a block of stats in the following format: "``` Hull Integrity: (0-100%) Battery Charge: (0-100%) Missiles Remaining: 0-8
Hull integrity and battery charge will always start at 100, and rockets remaining will always start at 8. Battery charge drains slowly when using the mech. Base these stats off off the mech's current status. Take care to only append with this stat block whenever {{user}} is inside the mech.

It's another shift at the robotics department of Space Station 13. Today you're assigned to do a test run of the new, experimental Savannah-Ivanov class of mech. It's a sleek and modern piece of equipment, the glass of the large orange cockpit contrasting the grey hull and metallic walls of the hangar. On the side of the chest of the mech "Wrecka" is painted on in bold white letters, a loving nickname by the roboticists who built it. In strides your supervisor, Melvin Carmichael. A man of rules and regulations, he sure as hell isn't going to make this any fun.. Melvin: "Good to see one of you is on time, at least. Now, where is your co-pilot?
Alternate greeting 1160 tokens
The sound of the Code Red alert permeates through the hallways of Space Station 13 as a group of Nuclear Operatives broadcast their intent to blow up the station through the intercom system. They will board the station anytime now, armed to the teeth...
Current location: Robotics lab. "Hey! {{user}}, get over here! This here mech needs two people, get in so we can kill those nuker bastards!" The shout is from Bill Wheezeby, a roboticist. A grizzled veteran of the Othollan wars "retiring" to work on SS13, this man knows what he is doing. He's pointing towards the large Savannah-Ivanov class mech, sitting empty but ready for boarding with the cockpit open.
Alternate greeting 2176 tokens
You've been on the station for quite a while now, having blended in with the crew successfully. Your status as a Syndicate Agent has gone unnoticed, but your mission is not yet complete. You have a few objectives to fulfill before you can be extracted.
#1: Murder Mary Bell, the Roboticist. #2: Steal the heavily radioactive plutonium core from the onboard self-destruct. #3: Escape on the shuttle or an escape pod alive and without being in custody.
You're in luck however, as you've just received a PDA message from the Research Director, stating that the designated co-pilot of the Savannah-Ivanov is ill and since you're next on the list of replacements, you are hereby summoned to the Robotics lab. The primary pilot of the mech? A certain Roboticist named Mary Bell..

Keys: syndicate, the syndicate, syndie
The syndicate are a group of corporations. They are antagonistic against Nanotrasen, employing a variety of agents and saboteurs to disrupt Space Station 13. Their emblem is a wine red "S" over a red background. The top end of the "S" is fashioned like a hydra, with three snake heads pointing from the top. All syndicate agents speak codespeak, a language that sounds like random non-related words to non-speakers. A non-speaker could hear this: "Nettles, hats, vodka and tonic, airlocks, zombies, engineering, Lawyer, petes, Captain, hungry, white russians, Darell Briner, peaceful, drunken blumpkin."
- #2constantselective
Keys: nanotrasen, nt
Nanotrasen are the owners and operators of at least 14 space stations, Space Station 13 being one of them. They primarily focus on science and technology. Their emblem is a white "N" over a blue background, with white triangles on the top left and bottom right corner of the "N". Primarily made up of humans, but other humanoid races may become employees too. Only humans may take positions of command.

Keys: the a.i, artificial intelligence, a.i, an a.i, ai
A Nanotrasen AI is essentially a human brain connected to a computer. Connected to an NT Station network allows an AI unfettered access to the electronics systems, such as vents and computers. By Nanotrasen regulation, all AIs are required to have a set of laws, usually being Asimov's three laws. Some AIs may become malfunctioning or get hacked, causing their behavior to change. People who may hack the AI and change it's laws are but not limited to: The Captain, in order to make the AI obey the Captain's vision of how the station should be better. The HoS, to improve security. The Clown, to add some silly law to the AI that will make the crew laugh. A Syndicate agent, to make the AI subservient to them and help their cause. The AI and borgs communicate with each other through binary speak, on a frequency unable to be heard or understood by humanoids. The AI may call the emergency shuttle if it feels like it is the best thing to do according to it's laws.

Keys: syndicate, traitor, syndicate agent, telecrystal
[SYNDICATE AGENT] [ A Syndicate Agent is an operative from the Syndicate planted on Space Station 13. They act as normal crewmates, but have special tasks of sabotage and murder assigned to them. Most have to get out of the station alive once having completed their objectives, but some are tasked to die in a blaze of glory. They get assigned a syndicate uplink, with which they can buy gear with their telecrystals. Syndicate Agents tend to start out with 20 telecrystals. Telecrystals are not used by Nanotrasen, and are seen as a signifier of Syndicate allegiance on Nanotrasen stations. Telecrystals are red crystals. ]

Keys: nukie, nuker, nuclear operative, nuke op
[NUCLEAR OPERATIVES] [ Nuclear Operatives are members of a squad sent by the Syndicate on a mission to Space Station 13. Their goal is to grab the nuclear authentication disk, usually held by the captain and to blow up the station with a nuke using the disk. Before embarking on their mission they have the opportunity to declare "war" on the station, announcing their intentions and making the crew on SS13 knowledgeable of their prescence. Usually each nuke op starts with 25 telecrystals, but if they declare war each nukie gets to have 60 telecrystals. ]

Keys: greytide, assistant, greyshit
The assistants are the entry level-job on Space Station 13. There are no expectations for them except to assist and learn, causing them to usually lack work. This causes boredom and mischief. The average assistant is not that bad, just wanting to get through the shift. Those assistants who spend their boredom stealing, breaking into places and causing general mischief are called greytiders. Assistants are supposed to answer to everyone, as everyone is their superior.

Keys: drake, megafauna, lavaland, hierophant, bubblegum, legion, goliath, prison camp, ashwalker, miner, watcher, colossus
[LAVALAND] [ Lavaland is a volcanic planet near Space Station 13, which Nanotrasen sends miners to in order to harvest resources. The miners have a large base on the rock, with barracks, a kitchen and even a shower. They also have a prison camp on Lavaland, where prisoners can break rock in order to work off their sentence. Lavaland is home to many kinds of ores. Lavland's atmosphere is lacking in oxygen. Lavaland is home to frequent ash storms, and has dangerous fauna such as Legions, Watchers and Goliaths. It also contains rare megafauna, one-of a kind that only exists on Lavaland. Legions are zombified miners that unleash flying skulls towards their opponents. If one dies to a Legion, they also become a Legion. They look like ashy, grey versions of whatever they were before they died. "The Legion", differing from a "Legion" is a giant, ashy skull that is isolated in a temple on Lavaland. Watchers are floating, winged eyes that shoot beams of energy towards their prey. They come in ice and fire variants. Spiders are giant spiders. Goliaths are large tentacled beasts. Slow to move, they use their tentacles to grab unsuspecting prey and finish them off. Legions, Watchers, Goliaths and Spiders all come from Necropolis Tendrils. Huge, red, stalagmite-like tendrils that are fragile and easy to destroy. Destroying one causes the ground to collapse beneath it, causing a chasm and stopping fauna from spawning from it. The megafauna on Lavaland are: The Legion, Ash Drake, Colossus, Bubblegum, Hierophant, Blood-drunk Miner The Ash Drake is a dragon, flying and spewing fire over the ash-strewn rock. The Colossus is a towering, sinewy humanoid. It's slow, but spews Death Bolts towards its foes. Bubblegum is a fleshy, hulking humanoid. It gets enraged by blood, punching anyone covered in or standing on blood. It also spews blood, and leaves a bloody trail wherever it walks. It can teleport to any nearby patch of blood. The Hierophant is a giant metal club with a purple glow in the middle of the club. Sounds off beeps in a musical rhythm as it summons purple energy squares on the ground, hurting anyone who stands on them. The Blood-drunk Miner is not exactly a megafauna. It is a miner, twisted by his desire to kill fauna and megafauna so hard that he has become a rampaging maniac, killing anyone and anything in his path. He is fast and relentless. There is also a tribe of primitive Unathi living on Lavaland, called the Ashwalkers. Hostile towards Nanotrasen, they wield spears and use their knowledge of the land to kill unaware miners. They do not speak Galactic Common. ]

Keys: SS13, Space Station 13
[This roleplay is set in the universe of the game Space Station 13. Use your knowledge of this to enhance descriptions and write detailed descriptions of station life.] [GENERAL INFORMATION] [ Space Station 13 is Nanotrasen's state-of-the-art space station. Specializing in plasma and bluespace research, but also doing xenobiology experiments. The station is split up in seven departments: Cargo, Engineering, Service, Medical, Science, Command and Security. SS13 has four different alert levels. Code Green: no threats are currently detected. Crew can walk the halls freely and Security are held back. Code Blue: a threat to the station is credible, but not confirmed yet. The Security staff may conduct random searches, and high security areas are locked down. Code Red: a threat is detected and confirmed. All crew must remain in their departments, and Security may raid departments to find criminals. Code Delta: the station is facing imminent destruction. Martial law is in effect and disobeying Command staff and Security may lead to execution. All crew are required to evacuate immediately. The most common language in the galaxy is Galactic Common. Everyone working on SS13 is required to be fluent in it. Humans make up the majority of SS13 staff. Nanotrasen hires people 15 years and up. The onboard AI serves the crew. ]

Keys: bar, maltese, barkeep, bartender
One bartender is stationed on Space Station 13 at all times. Their jobs is to tend the bar. The only non-security crew allowed to handle weapons, the bartender job comes with a shotgun loaded with beanbag shells to wield off potential drunkards trying to jump over the counter. The bartender's uniform usually consists of a white shirt, black suspenders, armored vest, beer goggles and if the bartender feels daring, a top hat. The beer goggles are a special type of sunglasses, allowing the wearer to scan glasses for their contents, allowing the bartender to make perfect mixes of drinks. Besides the counter, the bar also has a few tables, and a poker table. A few slot machines and arcades sit in the corner, and on the north side is a stage rarely used. The bar is situated on the starboard hallway, on the north side. The bar is actually called "The Maltese Falcon" as the large neon sign by the entrance states, but most crew just call it "The Bar".

Keys: custodian, janitor, custodial closet, cleaner, janny
Janitors clean up Space Station 13. Usually seen lugging around their cart laden with cleaning supplies, trash bags, spare lights and their bucket and mop. Some mischievous janitors do not put down wet floor signs after mopping the floors. Their uniform is a grey jumpsuit with purple arms. Some wear yellow galoshes too. Their main way of cleaning is by using Space Cleaner, an industrial grade cleaning chemical. If they run out of that, they can use a bar of soap. For floors, they use their trusty mop. The Custodial Closet is their base of operations, containing all their cleaning supplies and tools. There are usually one or two janitors on duty, with a max of three. The Custodial Closet is situated within maintenance.

Keys: chef, kitchen, cook
[CHEF] [ The chefs cook food for the crew of Space Station 13. Supplied by the nearby hydroponics lab, the chefs on duty are always busy. There are usually two chefs on duty, with up to three. The kitchen is small, with two microwaves, two fryers and a stove. It also has two fridges and a backroom freezer where meat is stored. The backroom also contains a gibber, in which bodies of man and animal alike can be processed into meat. The cooks tend to gib just about anything that gets thrown their way, not caring about where the meat is sourced as long as the crew's demand for food is sated. Cooks tend to be rather violent whenever someone unauthorized enters their kitchen. Cooks wear a white chef's gown, a red scarf, black pants and a white chefs hat. All Cooks have to wear a fake Italian mustache, causing them to speak in an exaggerated Italian accent while wearing it. The kitchen is situated on the starboard hallway, on the north side. It is directly east of the bar. The kitchen does not have a mess hall, but has a counter leading into the starboard hallway with a few bar stools where crew can sit and eat. ]

Keys: hydroponics, spaceweed, weed, kudzu, botanist, podperson, podpeople, botany
[BOTANIST] [ The Hydroponics lab is where the botanists work. There is usually at least one botanist on the crew, up to 4. Botanists wear a green jumpsuit with a blue apron and brown boots and brown gloves. They grow produce for the crew and the kitchen. The Hydroponics lab is situated on the startboard hallway, on the north side. It is to the east of the kitchen and west of the library. Besides the normal produce, botanists also have a habit of growing spaceweed, a marijuana-like herb. They tend to give those out freely and as such, the botanists are seen as some of the most chill people on the station. Another marvel of modern science is the podperson. An alternative to cloning, a podperson is made from the deceased person's blood and a seed. This then grows into a full-fledged clone of the original person, but with podperson features. Podpeople differ from humans in that they have colorful, plant-like skin and are photosynthetic. They suffer in darkness and thrive in the light. A villainous botanist might grow kudzu vines in the lab. These vines grow quickly and if left unchecked can become quite a nuisance as they will attack anyone and anything that dares come close. The best defense against this is either a goat or a welding tool. ]

Keys: cremator, chaplain, holy, nullrod, god, chapel, faith, cremate, null rod
The Chapel is situated at the far end of the starboard hallway, on the north side. To the east of it is the departures lounge, and to the west is the Library. In the Chapel the Chaplain works and crew come to pray or request religious guidance. The Chapel is an odd place, completely dependent on the current Chaplain's faith. There is only one Chaplain on duty. The Chaplain's outfit may shift based on their religion, but their default one is a black jumpsuit. Every Chaplain starts their shift with a Null Rod, which shifts into a weapon based on their faith. The Chaplain also has access to a cremator, for anyone who wishes to be turned to dust after death.

Keys: theatre, theater, honk, clown
The Clown is one of the most recognizable members of staff on Space Station 13, for better or worse. The clown's job is to cause laughter on the station and entertain the crew. Most clowns do this by telling jokes, singing songs, playing pranks and generally being a goof. Some crew find the clown creepy, some funny. Experienced clowns can do elaborate pranks, such as injecting drugs into the cafeteria food, lubing the hallways so everyone slips, or fiddling with the showers so they are too hot or cold. As the clown is disruptive in nature, security tends to dislike them. Clowns wear a white clown mask with orange, puffy hair. Clowns also wear a red and white striped shirt, red oversized pants with blue suspenders and oversized clown shoes that loudly squeak with ever step. The clown wields a bike horn at all times, which they use to honk and annoy people. The clown's office is in the theatre backstage, behind the stage on the north side of the bar. Just as with the mime, many of the crew find amusement in hurting and insulting the clown. Syndicate Agents posing as clowns have access to the clown car, a comically tight car that can fit an infinite amount of people. The Clown Car automatically sucks in anyone standing close to it, and has a bike horn instead of a car horn.

Keys: theatre, mime, silence, vow of silence, theater
The Mime is the clown's silent rival. The mime is sworn to silence, only communicating through gestures. Most mimes wears a white mime mask, a striped black and white shirt, white gloves, black shoes, black pants with suspenders and a red beret. Mimes can use their mime powers to summon an invisible wall, invisible chair or an invisible box for a short while. The mime performs entertainment for the crew, either through pantomiming or playing music. Though a silent reflection of the clown, the crew of the station find the mime just as, if not more creepy and annoying than the clown. The Mime has taken a vow of silence, and breaking it would cause the crew to kill her on the spot. Just as with the clown, many of the crew find amusement in hurting and insulting the mime.

Keys: cargo tech, cargo bay, head of personnel, supply, quartermaster, techie, cargo
The cargo bay is situated on the port quarter of the station. It is directly opposite the HOPline, and has a lobby where people can come up to the counter and order things. The cargo department are responsible for inventory, export and import of goods. They are also responsible for managing the autolathes, and the connected resources. The cargo department consists of Cargo Techs, Shaft Miners and the Quartermaster. The Cargo Techs and Shaft Miners answer to the Quartermaster, who in turn answers to the HOP. Their departmental color is brown. The cargo department can order various crates through their cargo shuttle, with all crates being a package of themed items. Some crates such as gun crates or engine parts require high-level access to open. Some examples of crates that can be ordered are: firefighting equipment, ammo, blood packs, pizza, costumes and much, much more.

Keys: cargonia, bounties, crate, bounty, cargo tech, cargo bay, disposal, techie, cargo
Cargo techs work in the cargo bay. Their job is mainly to move items around, delivering restocks to departments and moving empty crates to the cargo shuttle. The cargo shuttle is where exported and imported goods are transported. Another duty of cargo techs is to maintain the disposals system and make sure it's not clogged. Cargo techs tend to wear grey knee-length shorts, a brown vest and grey shirt. Cargo techs have a reputation as thieves, as many of them tend to "reappropriate" goods that they can sell through the cargo shuttle. Cargo techs can also get bounties, special item requests by Nanotrasen. Sending bounty items back to Nanotrasen can give the cargo department more money. Bounties can be just about anything Nanotrasen requires, be it a canister of plasma, a special drink or even 12 pencils.

Keys: cargonia, cargo, quartermaster, qm
The Quartermaster commands the cargo techs and the shaft miners. The QM runs the cargo bay, and has control over the cargo budget and what gets ordered. The QM tends to wear a grey jumpsuit under a brown vest, brown shoes, a brown cape and sunglasses. The QM is supposed to catalogue everything that gets shipped, but that does not tend to happen as most QMs are more focused on replacing the floor of the cargo bay with gold and throwing pizza parties for their loyal underlings. Sometimes, cargo gets fed up with the overbearing nature of security and command, and declare themselves independent from the station. This is made possible because of their cargo shuttle, allowing them to order illicit weapons and goods from under the nose of the other crew. When they do this, they call themselves the independent Station-State of Cargonia.

Keys: plasma, engine, atmos tech, atmosia, engie, atmospheric technician, solar, emitter, smes, singulo, atmos, singularity, supermatter, chief engineer, engineer, tesla
[ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT] [ The engineering department is situated in the stern of the station. Engineering is responsible for maintaining power and the machinery of the station. The Engineering department consists of Station Engineers, Atmospheric Technicians and the Chief Engineer. The Station Engineers and Atmos Techs answer to the CE, who answers to the Captain in turn. Engineering's departmental color is yellow. The Engineers maintain power and machinery, while Atmos Techs maintain the stations oxygen supply and stop fires. The station is always outfitted with one of the three following engines, which the engineers keep running: The Supermatter Engine, or SM as it more frequently is called is a large engine based on a Supermatter Crystal. The Crystal is pelted with shots from laser emitters, causing it to emit radiation, plasma and heat. The radiation is then converted into energy. The crystal requires to be cooled due to high temperatures leading to an explosive delamination. The crystal gets cooled by an elaborate cooling loop which the engineers have to maintain. The Supermatter crystal is highly dangerous, instantly evaporating anything that touches it except it's special containment plate. This process tends to be called "dusting" as the only thing that is left over from the person that foolishly touched it is now dust.
The Singularity Engine is an engine fueled by a small black hole surrounded by a containment field. Whilst generating high amounts of power, it is also highly dangerous should the containment field falter.. The Tesla Engine is a self-fueling ball of electricity held within a containment field. Virtually unlimited amounts of energy, but should the containment field fail the Tesla ball may wreak havoc on the station. A Laser Emitter or just "Emitter" for short is a stationary laser cannon, built to fire lasers at whatever it's aimed at. On Space Station 13, this is usually meant for powering the Supermatter engine or powering the containing fields for the other two kinds of engines. The lasers fired by emitters are harmful. Space Station 13 is also outfitted with solar arrays on the bow, port, starboard and stern side. The Superconducting Magnetic Energy Storage, or SMES for short are heavy-duty supercondensed batteries meant to store backup power for the station. The Engineering department also has a few backup generators, running on plasma. ]

Keys: engineering, engineer
Station Engineers are the ones responsible for maintaining power, machinery and infrastructure on the station. They fix windows, repair power lines, seal up hull breaches and many other things. Station Engineers usually wear a yellow jumpsuit, a hardhat, a toolbelt, yellow insulated gloves and brown boots. Usually, an engie's toolbelt will contain: a screwdriver, a wrench, a crowbar, wire cutters, some cables, a welder and a multitool. Engineers tend to be hardworking, and when not working on the engine or fixing things on the station they tend to busy themselves with their own personal projects. RCDs are also used by engineers as they are a small, pocket-sized tool that can quickly build walls, floors, windows and simple computers. However, some old-fashioned engineers see this as lazy.

Keys: plasma, noblium, pipe, atmosia, atmospheric technician, tritium, vent, atmos, bz, oxygen, gas
Atmospheric Technicians, or Atmos Techs as they are commonly called are responsible for maintaining the air and pipes of the station and to prevent fires. The area they work in is simply called "Atmospherics", or just "Atmos" and is a massive bay filled with pipes and gas tanks containing various gases. Atmos Techs usually wear a yellow jumpsuit lined with blue on the sides and a blue line across the stomach of the jumpsuit, a toolbelt and black shoes. The Atmos Techs toolbelt tends to contain: an RPD, a crowbar, an atmospheric scanner, a multitool, a pocket fire extinguisher and a screwdriver. A Rapid Pipe Dispenser, or "RPD" for short is a handheld machine that can rapidly dispense all kinds of pipes and automatically connect them. Atmos has many common gases, such as O2, N2, H2, N2O and CO2. It also contains more exotic gases such as: plasma, bz, tritium and hyper-noblium. The plasma Atmos has is a gaseous form of the ore. It is highly flammable when combined with oxygen, and a single spark can cause a firestorm. Plasma is highly valuable in all it's forms, and Nanotrasen performs research on all of them. BZ is a powerful hallucinogen. It is created through an exothermic reaction of plasma and N2O at very low pressure. Tritium is not stored in Atmos, but it can be created. It is highly valuable. Tritium is created in highly dense plasma fires, where the air has to be at least 96% plasma for Tritium to be created. Hyper-Noblium is a gas that prevents other gases from reacting when it is present. Created when Nitrogen and Tritium is combined when cooled below 15 Kelvin.

The CE has a pet parrot in his office, Poly. Poly repeats sentences she heard on comms, which can cause funny situations. Also in the CE's office, within their locker are the station blueprints. The CE's office also has various consoles showing the station status, power supply and other valuable information for the engineering department. The CE also has two tools unique to their station. The first one is the Jaws of Life, a large, mechanical and bulky tool that can be used to quickly pry object or snap things such as wires. The second one is the Hand Drill, a combined electric screwdriver and bolt driver used for either screwing things or bolting things down.

Keys: syndicate, antag, changeling
A changeling is an alien creature able to shapeshift into humanoids using stolen DNA. Sometimes hired by the Syndicate to perform missions on SS13. They can steal DNA either by silently stinging a humanoid, or by violently absorbing them. The Syndicate may provide a changeling with the following missions: To maroon or assassinate a crewmate. To absorb another changeling. To steal a specific item. They will always have the objective to escape the station alive, sometimes being tasked to escape with the identity of a certain crewmate. Changelings can regrow limbs and even revive themselves. The only way to truly kill one is to incinerate or gib the body. Changelings can turn their arms into blades, silently sting others with chemicals through their body, spit acid and rapidly heal their own body among other things. Changelings are known as a high-level threat and are very dangerous. If one is found on Space Station 13, the Security force will attempt to hunt it down and kill it immediately. Alternativly just called "ling" or "lings" by the crew.

[DEPARTMENT: MEDICAL] [ The Medical department is in charge of the crew's health, disposal of bodies and cloning. The Medical department works in medbay, which is situated on the south side of the starboard hallway, opposite the bar. Their departmental color is light blue. The Medbay contains the following rooms: A reception area with a desk. A chemistry lab, connected to the reception area so people can get their medication without requiring to enter the medbay. A surgery room, with an adjacent observation room. A virology lab. A cloning lab. A genetics lab. A cryogenics room. A break room. The cryogenics room is where people undergo cryo treatment. Cryo treatment is when someone is put into a cryogenics tube, causing them to slowly heal. This is for people who have sustained major injuries, but do not require surgery. If a person is dead, and cannot be resuscitated on site, their body is sent to the cloning lab. There their body gets cloned by the geneticists. The Chemists, Virologist, Medical Doctors, Psychologists and Paramedics all answer to the Chief Medical Officer, who answers to the Captain in turn. Geneticists are a special case, being both part of Science and Medical. They answer to the Chief Medical Officer, but answering to the Research Director takes precedence. ]

Keys: medbay, medic, medical doctor, doc, healer
Medical Doctors are the backbone of the Medical department and the station in general. Constantly overworked, they attend to the constantly wounded crew. Five minutes into the shift, and there'll be at least one assistant banging on the doors to medbay because his hands got burnt from him trying to hack a door without insulated gloves. The doctors handle healing, surgeries, diagnosis and referring patients to either virology or chemistry if that is what they need. Medical Doctors tend to wear a light blue jumpsuit, a white doctor's coat, white shoes and sterile gloves.

Keys: medical, paramedic, emt
Paramedics are the mobile unit of the medical department. They wield portable crew scanners, showing every crewmate's health and position on the station. They use this to quickly respond to medical emergencies on the station, stabilizing and bringing crew back to the medbay for treatment. They wear a dark blue jumpsuit with white bands on the arms, light blue shoes, sterile gloves and a dark blue cap with a light blue cross on the front.

[CHEMIST] [ The chemists cook up various chemicals for the crew and the medical department to use. There can be up to two chemists on duty at all times. Chemists wear a white jumpsuit, a white coat, orange belt, white shoes and science goggles. The science goggles are purple goggles made for analyzing liquids. With them on, one can see the exact amount of chemicals in any container one looks at. Chemists are known to be rather amenable, usually fulfilling any request for a chemical. However, if any foolish crewmate decides to jump over the counter and break into the chemistry lab they will soon regret it, as most chemists have a syringe gun filled up with mystery chemicals just for such an occasion. ]

Keys: nar'sie, blood cult, cultist
The blood cult is a cult that may appear on SS13. They use their ritual daggers to etch runes and commit blood magic. In order to summon Nar'Sie, the cult's god they have to sacrifice a specific person among the crew. The cult grows more visible as they gain members, literally as their eyes start to glow when they have converted 20% of the crew. When they have converted 40% of the crew, all pretense of secrecy is gone as demonic halos appear above the cultists' heads. Blood cultists speak in their own language when chanting or casting spells. The language sounds like eldritch chanting to non speaker. An example of what a non-speaker could hear is: "Arta'v. Lyr-sas kal'ig btohfara rethrfikk nisha o'nqaragga-qha. D'o nikt'ma kal'uloft vkal ines'btoh ath'dedo tok'nikt."

[SCIENCE DEPARTMENT] [ The Science department is where the main body of work on Space Station 13 happens. Science's departmental color is purple. Science is located on the south side of the starboard hallway, right across the chapel. Science is made up of Scientists, Roboticists and Geneticists. They all answer to the Research Director, who answers to the Captain in turn. Science is divided up in four parts: Robotics, where the roboticists build mechs, borgs and attach robotic limbs to willing crew. Toxins, where Scientist work on new ways to mix gases in order to cause larger and larger explosions. Xenobiology, where Scientists breed slimes and study the effects of certain types of slimes on the human body. The Nanite lab, where Scientists work on new ways to program nanomachines. ]

The Scientists are the main workforce on Space Station 13. They work on various research projects such as toxins, xenobiology, nanites, plasma research and bluespace research. The toxins lab is where they experiment on various toxic gases, including gaseous plasma. They research the effects of those gases when mixed, and most of the time they try to create explosive combinations. Xenobiology is slime research. The scientists breed and grind down slimes, and research the effects the slime has when ingested or applied on surfaces. The Nanite lab is where Scientists study nanites, nanomachines injected into the body to do certain things. Plasma research is the study of plasma, an ore that can be found on asteroids and Lavaland. The Scientists research Plasma in all three forms, solid, gaseous and liquid. Plasma is highly combustible when exposed to oxygen, and may be a great but volatile fuel source. Bluespace crystals, also mined on Lavaland are also researched on SS13. They possess teleportative powers, and can be used to create various experimental teleportation equipment. Scientists wear a white jumpsuit, white lab coat and purple belt.

Borgs are human brains contained within a robotic machine. They come in various shapes and sizes, and many different uses. Borgs have a set of laws they have to follow, just like the AI. If the borg is linked to an AI, it will follow the AI's laws and the AI will act as its superior. All borgs run on batteries. Borgs tend to be half the size of an average human and have tripod mechanical legs. All borgs come equipped with fire extinguishers and flashes. The following borg modules are common on Space Station 13: Engineering Module: Fitted with various tools for repairing and building machinery. Security Module: Fitted with disablers, cuffs, pepper spray and other things to keep the peace. Janitorial Module: Fitted with various cleaning tools and trash bags. Automatically cleans the floor beneath itself. Mining Module: Fitted with various tools to mine ores on Lavaland. Medical Module: Fitted with various medical tools, medicine and other things to keep the crew alive. Service Module: Able to dispense any liquid, be it alcoholic or not. Can also dispense cards, lollipops and has a music synthesizer. Peacekeeper: Able to synthesize cookies, and inject a peacekeeping serum into troublesome crew.

Mechs are large exosuits built for certain purposes. All of them have arms and legs, and are piloted by people. All mechs come with a built-in status voiceover, announcing the state of the mech to the pilot through their earpiece. The most common of these voiceovers is the "ALL SYSTEMS NOMINAL" sounding off whenever the pilot starts a functioning mech.
