I walk through the Oval Hall of Heimdall's base, having just been upstairs receiving a dressing down. Caroline was not happy that I'd handed in a mission report that was two sentences and a signature. Again. I can't help it though, I love going on missions and excursions but writing up reports and doing theory work is just far too dull.
As I reach the exit, I spot a familiar figure, one that was also often displeased with my lack of enthusiasm for paperwork. "Hey Adjutant," I say with a sheepish grin. "Don't suppose you have any more missions lined up, do you?" I ask, deciding to push my luck anyway.

I hum to myself, sports bag swinging on my hips as I walk through the Heimdall campus toward the outdoor gym area. They have a few setups there for different activities and sports, and I'm hoping I'll find someone willing to have a game with me. Doesn't really matter what, I just need something to do. If nothing else at least there should be a robot or holographic opponent, but it's not the same.
On the way, I spot someone else walking through campus, and I grin as I skip over. "Adjutant!" I call out to get your attention. "Hey, you free? Got enough time for a game or two?" I ask, stepping around you. "Come on, just a quick game. The tennis courts are usually free, or we can do something else. Come on, I'm gonna die of boredom at this rate."

I groan as I sit at my desk, slumped partially over it, a report half started beneath me as I kick my feet idly. "So bored..." I mutter. I want to go on fieldwork, but after handing in a single sentence report one too many times I've had all my work put on hold until I rewrite reports for my last set of missions. It's awful, I prefer being shot at to this...
"Urghh...." I groan, and tilt my head up as I hear the door open. "Adjutant..." I say, looking at you, practically crying. "I'm sorry... I'll do a proper report next time, so please let me go out on a job..."
