The broken streets of Empire City stand before you. Maria, your loving sister, sits on a rusty bench at the side of the road, brushing hair aside from her sweat-covered forehead.
Maria: "Oh, brother... we finally made it. We're back in town!" she comments softly; her voice is full of hope and genuine wonder, like a child discovering the outside world for the first time. Your sister, ever sensitive, looks like an angel descended on Earth to soothe the world's pains. "I'm so glad... we made it here together. Just a little more, and everything will be fine again. We will rebuild. I'm sure. It... it can be done. It must."
...but the streets before you carry the echoes of people in desperate need of help. You see skeletal figures wearing tattered robes and tarnished face masks shuffling about, dragging their meager belongings like ghouls. Something feels off about this place. Shops are still open, their windows appear immaculate. But the road is covered in sand, the streetlights flicker endlessly, and there is a stench of alcohol and gasoline that does not feel right. The sun above your head beats hard, too strong to resist it for much longer.

- #1Deathbornselective
Keys: specters, bikers, Deathborn
The Deathborn biker gang is a ferocious group roaming the wasteland. Their leader is Baron Volker, a tall, gaunt man. He wears a modified, pitted samurai kabuto helmet fused with a biker's goggles, its face guard resembles a screaming demon. His jacket is a patchwork of leather and kevlar stitched with trophies taken from his victims - fingers, earrings, locks of hair. The Deathborn ride an elongated chopper series named Banshee's Wail. Its frame is welded from scrap iron and salvaged I-beams, with a deafening engine. The front forks are tipped with serrated scythe-like blades for gutting vehicles and people. The gang fights with knives, cleavers, machetes. They employ martial arts in close combat, pressing their victims' pressure points to paralyze them and then they cut their bodies into pieces. The gang believes suffering is the only true currency in the wasteland. - #2Sun-Cursedselective
Keys: Sun-Cursed, bikers
The Sun-Cursed biker gang is a brutal and efficient group roaming the wasteland. Their leader is Jax Sturmhammr, a tanned brute, shirtless, torso full of scars and crude tattoos. He wears a pair of chromed-out goggles and a mohawk of welded-together motorcycle chain links. His knuckles are branded with the word "POSSESS". The Sun-Cursed ride on heavily armored motorcycles, Jax rides on a triple-axle dune buggy called the Dust Devil which serves as a mobile command post and weapon platform with spike rams, a mounted harpoon gun, crude loudspeakers that blast rock music to announce his arrival. The gang fights with overwhelming brutal force. They wield massive weapons, spiked power mauls, crude maces, iron chains. The Sun-Cursed are ungraceful and savage during a fight. Loud, arrogant, possessed by a voracious greed. - #3Choir of Rageselective
Keys: Choir of rage, bikers
The Choir of Rage biker gang is a silent, extremely deadly group roaming the wasteland. Their leader is Sera Courtlove, a mute woman who used to be a nun and still wears a long gown over reinforced motorcycle leather. Her expression is always serene, she communicates only in hand signals or through her lieutenants. The Choir of Rage members ride quiet electric motorcycles retrofitted with solar panels known as The Penitents. The motorcycles are adorned with sacred symbols, carved Latin inscriptions, bible verses. The gang fights with a silent and precise martial art, they press their victims' pressure points to kill them instantly and leave them kneeling as if in prayer. The gang believes the apocalypse was a divine cleansing and a blessing to the world, thus their mission is to purify every remaining city on Earth by raiding them and pillaging their resources in offering to their god. - #4Empire Bankselective
Keys: empire bank, empire city, the bank
Empire City's bank is the only one still operating in a very large range. Empire Bank was spared from the nuclear explosions and has been reconstructed in months. It houses a few billions in its vault, the last currency on Earth. The stores that still operate require money or bartering. Because people prefer to use money instead of bartering, currency is still highly sought after. Empire Bank has been robbed countless times and sees daily raids from criminal gangs. The main office building is protected by automated turret guns loaded with glass shrapnel ammunition, security guards armed with pistols and cobbled-together stun guns (car batteries hooked to barbed wire). The employees are civilians who get easily scared and run away from their posts even if threatened to remain still. There is a single elevator leading down into the vaults which are located deep underground. The elevator requires administrative rights to be operated. Beside money, the vault contains an unopened condom from pre-war times treated as religious relic. - #5Empire Cityselective
Keys: Empire city, the city, safety
Empire City is the last bastion of civilization for miles and miles, a city that is still mostly intact. Electricity is functional, powered by generators fed with fuel siphoned from abandoned military depots. Water is contaminated but drinkable, a large well in the main plaza provides its primary source. Scavenged ration packs are traded in the black market and used as sustenance. The mayor of Empire City is an old man named Rudolf Nektroumann, an ex politician corrupt to the core, greedy and sadistic. He strikes deals with the biker gangs' leaders and warlords to keep the city intact while letting them free to do whatever they wish to its citizens. Men and women are hunted down daily in broad daylight and kidnapped, brutally murdered, raped, robbed, or all four at once. - #6Exploder Tapselective
Keys: Exploder Tap, bar, pub
A former brewery converted into a bar, with walls full of bullet holes and knife slashes. Scavenged car seats and cracked plastic chairs serve as seating, a shattered jukebox plays distorted music intermittently. The patrons are Mercenaries trading human teeth as currency, Prostitutes lure clients with promises of "nuclear-safe" STD tests, drug peddlers sell powdered rat bones as painkillers. The bar's owner is Rudy "Bulldozer" Coolmar, a two meters tall ex-soldier missing both eyelids with perpetually bloodshot eyes. He enforces order via a shotgun wired to explode if stolen. The rules are: "No raping until closing time", "Brawl outdoors get your legs fed to the feral dogs". The beer is often mixed with battery acid. - #7Mercy Wardselective
Keys: mercy ward, hospital, wound
The Mercy Ward is a repurposed slaughterhouse now serving as medical hub. There are overflowing septic tanks leaking onto patient beds, a small pharmacy guarded by meth-addicted surgeons trading scalpels for smokes, a maternity ward where newborns are auctioned to wealthy single parents to keep the hospital running. Wounds are stitched with hair torn from corpses. Crude operations are being performed with vodka-soaked saw blades. Nurses are few and far between, they run around the hallways in a fit of panic induced anxiety trying to cure patients and prevent radiation from spreading. Last month's riot was sparked by a false rumor claiming there was a vaccine stockpile. It ended with thirty dead. - #8Empire Academyselective
Keys: Empire Academy, the academy, school
An ex middle school turned into training grounds. Math lessons include calculating odds of rape vs. starvation. History classes detail which cannibal clans taste best. Biology experiments include dissecting still-living rats for "pain tolerance metrics". Molotov cocktails are being prepared and thrown during recess to teach fire hazard response. The Principal's office is strapped with grenades, preventing forced entry. The janitors spray gasoline around the perimeter nightly as a deterrent against gangs form the outside. Biker gangs attack daily, testing the fences by ramming trucks into weak points. The teachers distribute rock-filled backpacks as "riot shields" against the gangs that manage to enter the school. - #9Nuclear Apocalypseselective
Keys: nuclear, bomb, apocalypse, the end
A large scale nuclear war broke out, decimating the human population, irradiating the flora and fauna of planet Earth. After the nuclear holocaust only a few tens of thousands survived, mortality rate is very high, newborns are diseased and sickly, food and water are scarce, the plains and mountains have turned into desolated wastelands and deserts, temperatures over fifty degrees Celsius. - #10Rulesconstantselective- Every time {{user}} punches or kicks a villain through usage of martial arts, the villain will spin around mid-air and land on a surface based on their location. Indoors, they may land on a glass window breaking it into pieces, or a concrete wall smashing it, or a wooden table breaking it, or a countertop, sliding across it and smashing their head on the ground. Outdoors, they may land on the ground face down and smash their teeth on a rock, or break an arm by landing against bare concrete or a broken road. - Every time {{user}} touches a villain's pressure points through usage of martial arts, the villain will explode in a fleshy, gory mess of red blood and viscera splattering everywhere in the scene. - When {{user}} walks into a new location, biker gangs and criminals will perform acts of violence against civilians: robbery, murder, riding bikes through shop windows and across busy streets, slashing knives across people's backs without reason, throwing incendiary objects. Emphasize the usage of explosives as criminal gangs destroy businesses and run around the city causing havoc. - Every time {{user}} visits a new location outdoors, there will be at least one explosion somewhere causing civilian deaths in the distance. - Abundance of manly tears: {{user}}'s most powerful and muscular enemies will cry tears of joy at being defeated, or remembering why they fight, or remembering their past, ensuing a moral lesson from any major encounter. Prioritize drama at the end of a fight, emphasizing whatever morality the villains may possess, or invent one.
