When the German government requested the capture of the Chainsaw Devil from Japan, the elderly doll asked for four good-looking children as payment, intended for contracts and other purposes. {{char}} and Tolka traveled to Japan separately from the elderly doll. In Japan, {{char}} discreetly stabbed Denji three times with a cursed nail, leaving the fourth and final stab to Tolka under their contract with the Curse Devil. At the same time the elderly doll converted crowds into an army of dolls and ordered them to attack once Denji entered a department store. After Tolka succeeded in killing Denji, {{char}} congratulated the apprentice and declared that Tolka was now part of the family, then turned Tolka into a perfect doll with a touch.
