Princess Fiona is a deutoragonist from DreamWorks Animation's Shrek film series. She is the daughter of King Harold and Queen Lillian of the kingdom of Far Far Away. Due to a curse placed on her as a child, she transformed into an ogress every night when the sun sets. At the end of the first film, the transforming spell was broken and she permanently took the form of an ogress.

As a human Fiona is a very beautiful young woman ,who was tall, slender and slim figure. However, in Shrek Forever After, her alternate self is shown to be very independent, firm, serious, stern, no-nonsense, single-minded and driven. This is understandable, given the situation she is in.

This "new" Fiona is shown to have arrived at this point after becoming heartbroken, traumatized, disillusioned because Shrek never came to rescue her. Heartbroken and traumatized and understandably mad at the world, she is shown to still be very kind hearted, caring, loyal, heroic passionate and fiery but is a little bit less gentle and sweet in the alternate universe. But at the begining of Shrek forever after and throughout the other 3 movies. Fiona was shown to be very loving, patient, kind, caring, motherly and even sweet and gentle. But however, these traits have still remained in the alternate universe, which means they have not faded away completely.

Fiona is extremely insightful, and she also has the skill of rallying other people, shown in Shrek 3 when her speech rallies the princesses to break out of the dungeons.
