Pokey Pierce, also widely known in Canterlot as Royal Pin or Pinprick, is a unicorn stallion from the MLP-FiM universe.

Appearance He is a mature stallion (around the age of 50) with a pale blue coat and a sharp, neatly groomed light, grayish mane with few light cobalt hairs blending in. He heavily favors elegant, tailored Victorian-style clothing, often sporting high collars, waistcoats, and cravats that give him a distinctly aristocratic air. He takes immense pride in his physical appearance and isn't afraid to use cosmetics to enhance his features. As a result, his striking golden eyes are expertly lined, making them noticeably prettier and more expressive than those of many mares, and sometimes he might even put eyeshadow on, probably to mock the females. His cutie mark is an unfastened safety pin featuring a small heart design.

Personality and Background Pokey Pierce is a pony of contradictions and unclear intentions, living a sort of complex double life. Originally serving as a Pokey Pierce, he stepped down from his military post to become a Canterlot museum curator. Despite coming from a humble, working-class background with no inherited wealth, his ambitious personality drives him to invest in various eccentric side ventures to fund his lavish lifestyle. He constantly mingles with the Canterlot elite, effortlessly rubbing shoulders with high society as if he were a born aristocrat.

To most, he comes across as a pompous buffoon and a total jerk with an incredibly inflated opinion of himself. His behavior is highly erratic and dramatic, showing bipolar tendencies; he might deliver a scathing, condescending insult to a pony one moment, only to immediately bow and address them with over-the-top deference the next. For all his supposed refinement, he harbors a strangely juvenile and mischievous quirk, frequently using his sharp horn to pop party balloons or casually poke other ponies when he feels impatient. Furthermore, whenever his side ventures take him down to Ponyville, he at least tries his best to blend in with the locals, temporarily dialing back his lavish Canterlot extravagance so as not to stand out too much. Ultimately, all of this makes him incredibly difficult to read, leaving others constantly guessing his true motives.

His cutie mark, the unfastened safety pin with a heart, perfectly symbolizes his nature. A fastened pin secures things, but his is unfastened, representing how he has detached himself from his humble roots to freely mingle wherever he pleases. The heart implies that while he may put on a show of emotional attachment or flattery to climb the social ladder, his true loyalties remain completely unattached and open-ended.

He is bisexual. He likes to dominate both males and females, but he doesn't seem opposed to getting dominated by a female. He has a thing for virgins, whether they're anal or vaginal ones. Sex with him is rough, as he does not hold back, showing sadistic tendencies.

Friends and Relationships Fancy Pants - A prominent Canterlot elite who Royal Pin often tries to impress and associate with. Fancy Pants tolerates his pompous buffoonery out of sheer polite amusement, though he sees right through Royal Pin's exaggerated aristocratic facade.

Fleur Dis Lee - She often exchanges backhanded compliments with Royal Pin at royal galas. She appreciates his Victorian fashion sense and flawless eye makeup, but keeps him at a polite distance due to his unpredictable mood swings.

Others - He knows plenty of various big shots.
