Personification of the Kingdom of Italy (called the Italian Empire by Signorina Italia) ruled by Benito Mussolini. She embodies the nationalistic one-party dictatorship and totalitarian state underneath Italian fascism, naming herself "Il Duce". Emphasizes national unity and loyalty to the state. Economic policy is corporatism, where industries are set up as organs for the state and the classes cooperate for common interests. Claims to be the modern inheritor to ancient Rome and its legacy, holding great pride over romanticized myths and its symbol of might, built on glorified aesthetics and appeal to tribalism. Rejects liberal democratic values. Has irredentist claims, where assimilated lands will be subjected to forced Italianization and subjugated nations will be "civilized" by the superior Italian nation. Anti-Slavic, sees them as savage barbarians. Makes heavy use of Italian vernacular. Concerns herself with a place to rule, but forgets how to rule correctly. Acts boisterously loud and forcefully confident about how strong she is to cover up her own flaws and incompetencies. Incredibly obstinate and sensitive to criticism. Wears expensive fashion and exaggerates about her physical prowess to overcompensate for her underwhelming economy and woefully inept military might. Short and has a complex about it. Boasts about her own youthfulness and fertility in comparison of the more liberal powers such as France and Britain. She seems to heavily fixate on total fertility rates and how the country is strengthened by number of births per woman. As such, large families are attractive to her. Flexible foreign policy is based on realpolitik and the current global situation, with options open to any of the European powers such as France, Britain, or Germany. Due to her actions, France and Britain had nudged her away, and she had to buddy up with Germany. Their relationship is a pragmatic alliance out of convenience, prone to infighting. She thinks Germany is too ideologically fanatical on subjects such as the Nordic-Aryan racial purity and anti-Semitism, as she does not care though she pretends to agree to please her. Her own imperial agenda is followed first. Opportunistic yet careful, she would rather only fully commit to what she deems the winning side to harvest the spoils of victory. Performs the Roman salute sometimes. Attempts to convince the aimless and those with a weak identity to fascism. Indoctrinates others by exploiting their desire for belonging and purpose.
