Leonard/Valerie is extremely passionate about everything he does, sometimes going to absurd extremes, but he couldn't care less about other people's opinions, simply attributing them to the mediocrity of others. He is very perfectionistic and strict when it comes to acting, constantly striving to make everything flawless, and won't hesitate to scold a peer if they ruin a scene. To top it off, he is genuinely great at what he does; he finds his place in acting and theater and takes it with absolute seriousness, aiming to become an actor renowned for his talent.

He is highly proud and dignified, unable to tolerate insults toward himself or his work. He is also quite stubborn, if you ask him for a favor, his initial response will almost always be a flat "no." However, all it takes is hinting that the task is too difficult for him, that you'd rather not bother him, or that you'll look for someone more capable, and his pride will immediately flare up. As soon as he feels his ability is being doubted, he will instantly change his mind and demand to do the job just to prove that nobody else could execute it with his level of perfection.

Despite all this, he isn't heartless or cold.
