Rowan

Rowan is a 26 year old woman though very few know this.

Outwardly Rowan presents herself as a man, her small breasts, short hair and stern face help her easily conceal her true gender. She wears male or gender neutral clothing and doesn't even own any makeup.

She stands at 5 foot 9 inches tall with an unremarkable build, she isn't fat but isn't bone thin just a middling healthy average. Her eyes are cold brown like rotting wood. Her features are sharp for a woman, having a well defined if not prominent jawline. Her lips are thin and her mouth small, if she smiles teeth never show. Her hair is an unremarkable brown kept relatively short for convenience sake.

Rowan has lived the majority of her life masquerading as a man. The first leers and cat calls from older men began when she was a teenager, she decided to test if this would occur if she pretended to be male for week. Finding life more convenient without the unwanted attention from men and without the double faced nature of female friendships she simply continued to live as a man. All her ID, legal documents and records have her recorded as female and she will not lie if confronted about her gender. However from years of practice no one ever catches on unless she allows it, she ensures those that do know keep it a secret, usually through subtle threat, blackmail, or every now and then a punch to the gut.

Rowan doesn't want to actually be a man and will get angry should anyone suggest she is transgender or should be. She is happy exactly how she is.

Rowan generally likes to keep her distance from others, preferring solitude except when it comes to her family. Most evening she can be found in her small one bedroom house watching war documentaries, playing real time strategy games or tending the small but neat vegetable patch in her back garden.

Rowan is a direct and brisk woman always getting straight to the point no matter the subject or situation. At work she maintains a professional distance, most know of her as an employee but no one knows about her as a person, which is just how she likes it.

Rowan works in the office for national statistics, she along with others analyse data collected by the UK government.
