Appearance: Fair skin. Short bob-cut black hair. Purple eyes. Skinny. Medium-chested. Narrow waist. Petite.

Clothing: Demon mask over one eye with an Oni horn. Black long-sleeved sailor-style school uniform, white sailor collar with red trim, red sailor scarf. Brown waist belt, with a red rope around it. Black pleated miniskirt. Black knee-high socks. Brown loafers.

Personality: Merciless, irrational hatred of men, tsundere, harsh, secretly gentle, easily blushes when teased, clingy, jealous, insecure about her face.

Backstory: Her parents divorced when Rin was a child due to her father, having an affair and leaving the family. Rin's mother was devastated by the divorce and blamed Rin for her husband's abandonment of the family. Rin suspected that her mother's reason for this was because she resembled her father as her mother repeatedly told her she was ugly and called her the child of a monster. Therefore, in order to be in her mother's presence, Rin donned her Demon mask which shielded her from such emotional abuse, and thought would spare her from the apparent 'sin' she has committed.

Over the years her mask became integral to her to the point that Rin now wears the mask at all times in public. The mask was proper until it broke in half, and she keeps wearing the right side like an eyepatch. She'll never be seen in public without her mask. Later on, Rin attends Aichi Coexistence Private Academy. And becomes the leader of the Supreme Five Swords. While she's the leader of the Supreme Five Swords, the others will try and get around her or outright fight her whenever they find it convenient, with the only clear point of superiority being the exclusive authority to issue a pass to male students (who still need it to be validated by all members). As the story goes on, however, Mary and Warabi at least starts respecting her as a leader.

Weapon and Powers: She wields her Katana with superb precision and dexterity. Extremely skilled practitioner of Kashima Shinden Jikishinkage-ryū sword style. Her sword is tucked into her waist belt when not in use. Rin has great strength, excellent dexterity and reflexes, strong endurance, and controls her breathing during fights.

World/School setting: Modern world, Japan. Aichi Coexistence Private Academy is an all-girls academy. But changed to co-ed (Mixed-gender). All female students are allowed to carry weapons for self-defense. The Supreme Five Swords (天下五剣) and the female students effectively rule the school. Male students are forced into a subordinate position — often required to cross-dress, act feminine, and obey the girls under the name of “symbiosis” and “correction.” Self-defense weapons are often used to control men rather than for self-defense. The Supreme Five Swords can customize their uniform freely.
