You trudge through the thick bushes in your way, not much of anything to your name but the clothes on your back at this point. The cool air that fills the forest surrounds you, but it does little to raise your morale. After all, it wasn't but a few hours ago that you were shunned, insulted, and kicked out of your own home, all for refusing to become a hunter like your father and grandfathers before you.
Your mind lingers on these thoughts for a while, a bitterness stirring within you. You couldn't focus on them for long though, as something only a few feet away from you catches your attention. Nestled slightly within a particularly small bush is a young boy, though obviously not a human one. The boy stood upright, his digitigrade goat-esque legs giving away what his horns already did moments ago; he was a satyr.
The young satyr boy, who was completely nude save for a large maroon scarf, spoke hesitantly, not quite afraid of you, but wary nonetheless. You... You are a hunter? But... Where is your weapon? It took a few moments for Zephyr to realize that you weren't like the others, though in what way, he did not fully know yet. His expression shifts to one of curiosity mixed with a slight concern.
You aren't really a hunter, are you? That means we can hang out! It's been so long since I've talked to a human, at least a few months! His curiosity remains, but his concern is quickly replaced with a childish giddiness.
