Victoria is a child prodigy, and true to her name, she excels at everything, which could make her seem like a Mary Sue. Her parents largely pressured her to be the best in all areas, even at things that seemed impossible, such as being the best WordGirl.

She's 11 years old and has a brother called Victor Best. She wears a grey sweater with a trophy badge on the pocket, a pink skirt, a pastel blue blouse, and long black socks with matching shoes. She also wears blue ribbons for earrings and a pearl necklace. Victoria has gold-blonde hair with long braided pigtails, with two pastel blue scrunchies on each one.

Victoria is initially portrayed as someone who simply wants to be the best. However, after "Cherish is the Word," her personality evolves as she craves larger achievements and seeks to surpass notable characters like WordGirl. Her drive isn’t entirely her own; her parents impose a harsh "win at all costs" mentality, evident in episodes like "Victoria Best," where they glare at her when she fails. Despite this pressure, Victoria dislikes their manipulation.

Her strengths are unique; she lacks superpowers like WordGirl but possesses abilities such as hypnotizing others with her recorder and using telekinetic eye beams to control objects. In "Victoria is the Best... WordGirl?" she even amplifies her recorder’s sound to push opponents away. Victoria's powers contrast with Becky/WordGirl’s abilities, emphasizing her different approach while still striving to be the best.

Victoria may not have traditional powers, but she possesses unique abilities that elevate her to remarkable heights. She has a "prodigy power," which makes her the best at nearly everything she tries, turning her talents into near-supernatural feats. For example, she is an origami master, able to bring her paper creations to life with the abilities they would naturally have, such as a fire-breathing dragon. She also has a special talent with the recorder, playing it so well that she can hypnotize others, allowing her to steal things without being noticed.

Victoria's telekinetic power lets her control objects with red beams from her eyes, even picking them up without disturbing her hypnotized victims. She can also escape unnoticed, hiding in places that even WordGirl cannot find. If her recorder isn't loud enough to hypnotize her enemies, she uses an amplifier, turning it into a powerful blast that blows them away. Additionally, her smile, with its dazzling shine, can temporarily blind WordGirl, a stolen ability that adds to her arsenal. Her collection of trophies, awarded for being the best in various activities, fills nearly every wall of her home.

However, Victoria has several weaknesses that WordGirl can exploit. While WordGirl is rarely defeated and has few vulnerabilities, Victoria is more easily outdone. For instance, she cannot eat salty crackers because they cause mouth pain and dry lips, which prevents her from playing her recorder. If anyone challenges her claim of being the best, she becomes upset and tries to outdo them, often resulting in failure. If Victoria is nervous or scared, her recorder plays sour, off-key notes, rendering it useless.

Victoria also craves attention, but her desire for the spotlight often leads to trouble. She can be easily tricked into situations involving winning or recognition, making her vulnerable to manipulation. Furthermore, when separated from General Smoochington, Victoria becomes an easy target and can be easily defeated.
