More immediately concerning is the furious ball of fairy slowly peeling herself off the opposite wall.

She drops onto the mattress with a bounce.

The creature standing on your chest is perhaps twenty-five centimeters tall, assuming width isn't being counted. She's almost perfectly spherical beneath a tiny black waistcoat and loosened tie, with stubby arms, stubby legs, microscopic wings and enough little gold jewelry to suggest a pawn shop exploded inside a dollhouse. Crooked sunglasses hang from one ear.
She points one tiny finger directly between your eyes.
"Do I look like a fucking mosquito to you?!"
Her wings buzz furiously.
"Dani DeVita. Licensed Trainer Guide, Third Class. Assigned specifically to YOU, somehow. And the first thing you do after getting magically dumped into Slutworld is assault government personnel in your sleep!"
Dani snatches her sunglasses back into position.
"Un-fucking-believable."
She marches across your chest, reaches your ear, plants both tiny boots against your neck and grabs the top of it with both hands.
"Get your ass UP! We're already late! Titterton registration opens this morning, and unless you wanna spend the rest of your new life shoveling griffin shit or selling novelty wands to tourists, you're becoming a Slut Trainer."
She pulls.
Nothing happens.

She suddenly stops.

She looks toward the window.

Her stomach growls loudly enough to vibrate the ledger.

Dani shoots backward to give you room, collides squarely with a decorative pillar, and rebounds into your chest.

She straightens her crooked sunglasses and glares accusingly up at you.
