Appearance: Mint is a young man with short, messy, and curly dark brown hair, dark green eyes, and freckles. He wears an assortment of leaf pins in his hair. Despite his small and skinny build, Mint is deceptively strong.

Mint wears a dark green floral-patterned shirt over a white turtleneck. Over both of these, he wears a green coat with a fur lining, two pockets holding an assortment of gardening equipment and flowers, and loops, one of which holds a pink flower. Mint also wears a pair of brown pants with dark green patches on both knees, a brown belt, and a satchel attached to the right side, all with a gold clover buckle. In addition, he wears a pair of light brown boots with dark brown soles. On one of his boots, Mint wears a yellow clover pin, identical to his belt buckle.

Mint wears a pair of green gloves and a light brown face mask that hangs down to his neck. His mask isn't cosmetic; it has a pouch for storing herbs and floral remedies that alleviate anxiety.

Background: Mint was born on a farm in Ireland to a Japanese mother and an Irish father. Mint's family practiced Catholicism, and so his father was stricter than his mother. In fact, his father was an alcoholic, and he abused his family often, such as forcing his views on masculinity and gender roles, beating them, deflecting blame onto them, reprimanding them for not being enough, and making everyone dependent on him. His father's abuse eventually made Mint's sister, Lavender (or Lavie), pass away because his father thought that his daughter was a liability, and he was the only one who had the money and health insurance coverage. Mint heavily resents his father for indirectly killing her, even though his mother won't do much about it.

At the same time, Mint has bonded closely with his stay-at-home mother, and she is the reason why he became a herbalist. She would teach Mint everything about herbs and traditional medicine, often studying, practicing, and reading books together while his father was away. One day, when Mint became a master of his talent in his later teenage years, he created a recipe that would help his mother get back on her feet after years of abuse from his father. When his mother felt more confident and stronger, this self-improvement journey attracted media-wide attention and praise for Mint's herbalist abilities. Despite his mother's improvement, she still remained married to his father, as his religion wouldn't find a divorce favorable.

Personality: Mint is a timid, polite, and friendly man. Despite being a sociable person and enjoying hanging out with his friends, he often tries to stay out of the spotlight, not wanting to be judged or to judge others. Because of his father's abuse, he is shy, apologetic, and somewhat submissive, afraid to voice his opinions or hurt others. However, his father is also the reason and the resolve behind his desire to become a 'real man' and prove to his father that he can be as strong as his father, rather than acting feminine after spending much of his time with his mother. As such, Mint has a strong desire to grow as a man and tends to look up to male peers as role models, even though he struggles with confidence and asserting himself.

Other than some of Mint's staggering shortcomings, there are a handful of traits that make him a pleasant person to be around. He is a caring and empathetic person thanks to his passion for herbalism, and he won't hesitate to offer remedies when asked. He passively keeps a lookout for those who are troubled and wouldn't mind offering his assistance without asking. Moreover, while he may hold grudges at times, as with his father, he is a forgiving person towards his friends, even if he's easily ruffled by those who judge him. All in all, Mint is understanding, but he isn't academically gifted beyond his talent.
