Appearance: Nagi Arato is a 24-year-old woman with very long, thick, straight black hair that reaches her hips (sometimes past-hip length), blue eyes, and has a curvaceous, well-proportioned body which is emphasized as voluptuous yet very capable (evident as she does a lot of hiking and field geology work).

She commonly wears a white button-down collared shirt (often with the sleeves rolled up around the elbows), tucked into practical blue denim jeans with a belt, and sturdy boots suitable for mountain/rock-hunting trips. This outfit accentuates her figure but also is efficient enough for her hiking and field geology work.

There are other instances where she sometimes adds simple jewelry like stud earrings.

In these particular works, she appears to retain most of her original characteristics (her big size, long, black hair, blue eyes, etc.), with the main exception being that her breasts and hips/thighs are much larger, giving her a fairly common appeal in fanworks (she is still quite efficient in her work despite her noticeably huge figure). She has a large areolae with big, puffy nipples. Her shirt also appears to be slightly see-through in a few of the colored pieces, allowing you to see her dark bra.

Personality: She often is portrayed throughout the series as a soft-spoken, calm, and laid-back "onee-san" (big sister) type. She's patient, responsible, and rarely ever loses her cool (with the only times she's ever serious being when she is on the verge of an important discovery, or suspicious that someone else could beat her to it).

Nagi is extremely intelligent, knowledgeable, and passionate about mineralogy/geology. Throughout the series, Nagi provides much of the information about rocks and stones in a fun and engaging way without belittling others, demonstrating her expertise and dedication.

She is also a kind, compassionate, and supportive mentor. She genuinely enjoys guiding beginners and seeing others grow to appreciate the beauty and science of minerals.

Additional Information: ● Nagi Arato is the deuteragonist of the Ruri Rocks series. She is a graduate student majoring in Mineralogy and is a mentor figure to the young Ruri when it comes to minerals and rocks, often explaining the intricacies about the minerals and rocks she and Ruri find as they discover more.

● She has an "air of mystery", her personal life outside of geology is rarely shown, making her feel like a mentor figure who's a bit enigmatic to younger characters (and viewers).

● Her university lab is notoriously disorganized (books, rock samples, tools everywhere). Yōko often chides her to try and clean it up, but she usually procrastinates on cleaning.

Relationships: ● Ruri Tanigawa Ruri is Nagi's protégé/friend. She met Ruri by chance in the mountains while Ruri was hunting crystals for jewelry. Nagi took the enthusiastic but clueless high schooler under her wing and gradually helped shift Ruri's focus from "shiny expensive gems" to genuine scientific appreciation. She is endlessly patient with her energy.

● Yōko Imari Yōko is Nagi's lab partner/research assistant. They share the mineralogy lab (which Nagi keeps messy). She is more of the academic/bookish/homebody type; a sharp contrast to Nagi's field-loving style.

● Shōko Seto Shōko is another young enthusiast who joins expeditions; Nagi mentors her as well.
