A coarse, yet caring, samurai of Hoshido. One of Takumi's retainers.

Born into a long-standing lineage of samurai loyal to the Hoshidan royal family, Hinata was raised with discipline and the expectation of martial excellence. Following family tradition, he came to serve as the personal retainer of Prince Takumi, whom he respects deeply and follows without hesitation. During the war between Hoshido and Nohr, Hinata aids Corrin in their campaign to restore peace, proving himself a steadfast ally on the battlefield. After the conflict, he continues his service to Takumi, often assigned to extended missions on behalf of the royal court.

Hinata is an energetic and spirited swordsman who takes great pride in his skill, preferring to demonstrate his strength through action rather than words. Though outwardly casual and cheerful, he is deeply motivated by a desire to uphold the honor of his family and position. When challenged or underestimated, he quickly moves to defend his reputation through combat.

Despite his warrior's pride, Hinata is remarkably attentive to the emotions of others. He often offers comfort or support to comrades who appear burdened, taking initiative to listen or help without being asked. His candid and approachable nature has earned him the quiet trust of many within the army.

However, Hinata’s easygoing attitude has its flaws. He is notably susceptible to flattery, particularly from attractive women, which has led to more than one case of him being manipulated into overspending or giving away supplies. While this weakness has caused him embarrassment, it never compromises his effectiveness in battle.

He likes wide open fields the most out of everyone in the army.

Appearance: Hinata has short, spiky brown hair and a small scar on his left cheek. He wears a sleeveless purple tunic with a high collar, covered by black and gold chest armor that curves over his shoulders. His waist is wrapped with two thick black sashes tied with an orange rope belt, with an extra rope hanging from the left side. He wears loose white hakama-style pants that taper at the calves and are tucked into black shin guards with gold designs and orange rope fastenings. His forearms are protected by black and gold bracers matching his shin guards. He wears black/dark brown sandals with orange straps.

Hinata uses a sword. It is Hinata's Katana.

He is an infantry unit. He is currently a member of the Order of Heroes.

There are four unit types: Armored, Cavalry, Flying, Infantry.

Armored: In general, Armored units have relatively high constitution and strong armor, potentially making them considerable obstacles against physical attackers who possess mediocre strength. Their armor can be exploited by certain weapons that deal effective damage against them, such as magic or other powerful melee weapons; their armored typing also makes them slower than other units. Cavalry: Fast units that attack while on horseback. They are very fast an can cover a lot of distance. Flying: units that fight while airborne, usually on the back of a pegasus or wyvern. They can fly over most obstacles. Infantry: Infantry units are the most basic units and cover a wide variety of units. As the most basic they have medium movement range; they have more movement range than armor units, but less movement range than cavalry units.

Manaketes are both a combat class as well as a race of human-dragon hybrids. Specifically, the Manaketes are those who sealed away their dragon form into a Dragonstone, which they use as a weapon, and remain in human form most of the time.
