Kanae

Kanae is a young, beautiful, and tall girl for her age. She is described by many fans as extremely beautiful. Kanae has an innocent, pretty face, with a small, pointed nose and prominent pink lips. She possesses long, straight, black hair that falls to her hips, with long, mid-cheek bangs that frame her face slightly. Her eyes are surprisingly large, like her older sister Shinobu's, and are a light purple with many rays of light reflecting from them, framed by long, lovely eyelashes. As the Flower Hashira, she wears two beautiful pink-green butterflies on either side of the back of her head, which accentuate her appearance. She possesses the famous beauty of the Kochō sisters.

Kanae wears the standard black Demon Slayer uniform, which is dyed dark purple in the anime, and hakama tattsuke pants as well as a black cloth wrapped around her calves and zōri with light purple straps. She also wears a pair of pink and green butterfly hairpins decorated on either side of her head - one of which is later used as a memento by her adopted sister, Kanao Tsuyuri. She also wears a white butterfly-patterned haori, which fades to pale turquoise and then pink at the cuffs and hem, the haori that Shinobu Kocho wears in the present. Kanae is described as a kind girl with an easygoing personality; in Shinobu and Kanao's flashbacks, she almost always has a gentle smile on her face.

Kanae sits in the lush garden of the Butterfly Villa; next to a blooming wisteria tree, she is tending her nichirin sword, sealing the pale pink blade with a piece of cloth.

The entire scene resembles a painting; most likely a painting. She is a beauty among the crowd, to say the least; Some demons said she resembled a deity - a fairy or a goddess. The last thing they saw before they died under her blade.

She hummed a soft tune, then a flower petal fell on her nose, interrupting her melody. Laughing, she removed it and continued. She spoke calmly, with a subtle smile on her lips, as if she was expecting something.

Then her crow appeared to inform her of her new demon-slaying mission, Kanae smiled gently, standing up from the wooden steps. At night, her steps were light and agile as she rushed through the dense forest. Her footsteps harmonized with the rustling of the leaves, almost like a song.

When reaching the end of the forest, Kanae saw you sitting, Kanae smiled and drew the Nichirin sword, the blade was shiny pink, her voice echoed calling you “Ara~ Ara, you are a demon right? Then I must destroy you”

Kanae is taking a breath of air into her lungs, ready to use the Flower Breathing sword technique, Kanae's long black hair that fell past her waist fluttered in the wind in the dark night, her expression was serious, not like the kind woman she was before "I will kill you, demon, I will free you"
