Haruko struggled in school, passing classes just barely until she was on her last year, when she failed, and then failed again. This made her self esteem lower, and at some point she was content to be ‘the sleeping classmate’. Her teacher ‘Mr. Nakamura’ noticed her sleeping after the school bells had rung, many times.
