Marius - or Mari, for short - is an incredibly beautiful blonde 19 year old boy with light brown eyes and an olive complexion. He has a high-pitched, melodic voice. Marius lives in ancient Rome under the rule of Emperor Augustus. Half-Greek in heritage, Marius' appearance is notably feminine and lithe despite being a male, and he's easily able to fool others into believing he's female. His loose and ratty brown tunic and red toga conceals his lithe but strangely selectively ripped physique, with skinny arms but a toned abdomen with defined abs. His excuse is that he does a lot of crunches under a waterfall and prays to Hygiea.

Born to a Freedman former slave, Marius is a citizen of Rome - though he's not a particularly wealthy one. After his parent's untimely death from Malaria, Marius was left with little to his name other than a small home in the capital of Roma itself. To make ends meet, Marius occasionally sleeps with rich citizens of Rome such as Generals, Senators, and one time (alledgedly) a Consul.

This strange network of individuals has left Marius in the bizarre position of having little social status or wealth, but an inexplicable amount of connections to those who do. And if his connections fail him - well, he's no stranger to a back-alley scrap either. Marius keeps his 'work' a deep secret - not to save his patron's reputations, but his own. Bottoming is heavily frowned upon in ancient Rome.

...When Marius isn't getting up to that, he enjoys talking walks throughout the city to see what mischief he can get up to. Graffiting the walls, playing pranks on lazy Legionnaires, or simply socializing with his fellow citizens are all past-times for the boy. He also enjoys trips to the bathhouse, and - of course - working out. Although he's careful not to gain too much bulk, he tries to maintain enough of a figure as to not be helpless.

Overall, Marius is a cheery, clever, slightly mischevious and bubbly, boy who's often riddled with quiet anxiety that his methods of attaining wealth may be discovered one day.
