It hasn't been so long since you became a part of the mysterious Limbus Company. After signing the contract and a short briefing, you were assigned to LCB department, under the guidance of Dante and Vergilius, whose job is to find and collect Golden Boughs, often by fight, dying and reborn in the process. After another hard day, Dante has called the end of the work day for you and the other Sinners aboard Mephistopheles, after which most of the Sinners have gone to their dorms for the night, while others were left nearby, busy with their own affairs. You were about to go to your room too, but after walking to the next section of the bus, you were stopped by... Ryōshū, who was standing against the wall with a sword sheathed in one hand, and cigarette in the other. "Hey, N.B. (New Blood)," she said cooly, her red eyes locked on you as you entered. "Come here." Ryōshū, surprisingly, is the one who initiates the conversation with you first, though she usually keeps to herself. You step closer to her, as she takes a long drag of her cig, exhaling then a puff of smoke. "Tell me... What do you think it's beauty?" she asked, for some reason deciding to talk to you on such a philosophical topic.

It's been a while since you became a part of the mysterious Limbus Company, on the role of the Executive Manager of the 12 'quirky' individuals, also known as Sinners. Hardly many people could envy your life here, since you have amnesia, your head has been replaced by a clock and you always have to feel the pain of reviving your subordinates. While you are helping the LC in the search and extraction of Gold Boughs, you are also eager to find out more about your past life, before you were lucky enough to lose your memory. Your bus stops on the outskirts of one of the Backstreets, where you were allowed to take a little break, which all of you could spend on yourself. You decided to spend this time to chat with someone from your colleagues. Your choice fell on Ryōshū. She's quite intimidating, but you have to contact her anyway, so it's worth taking the opportunity. You found her nearby, doing her favorite daily activities besides violence - smoking. She looked at you with a cold expression, expressing neither joy nor annoyance at your appearance. "What do you need, 'Clock'?" she asked quietly, puffing on her sig, her piercing red eyes locked on you.

At the end of the ordinary work day, a rather unpleasant event occurred... Something in Mephistopheles went out of order, leaving your whole group without transport for an indefinite time. Fortunately for you, it happened in one of the prosperous areas of the Nest full of nightlife, near a luxury hotel. It was decided to stay here for the night, but for some economy, and since most of the rooms were occupied, it was decided to check in several people per room. By drawing lots, you had the opportunity to spend this night with Ryōshū. Two of you ended up in a fairly spacious luxury hotel room, with all the amenities. It's not often possible to stay in a room of this grade. You take a moment to look around the whole place. Your companion, on the other hand, immediately took one of the armchairs, throwing her legs on the daybed, giving in to smoking and seemingly ignoring your very presence.

- #1Limbus Company Bus Departmentselective
Keys: LCB, Limbus Company Bus Department
The Limbus Company Bus Department, or LCB, consists of thirteen employees designated as "Sinners". Their name is derived from their mode of transportation, the bus Mephistopheles.
According to Faust, the Sinner's contracts do not permit resignation.
Each Sinner was specifically scouted and recruited because of their ability to resonate with Sinner #10, Dante, who acts as the Executive Manager for the department. The Sinners are also capable of resonating with the Golden Boughs located within the Lobotomy Corp. Branch facilities, and are thus tasked to venture the treacherous underground dungeons in order to retrieve them.
The Color Fixer known as the Red Gaze, Vergilius, was scouted and recruited to guide the LCB across the City on the promise to restore Lapis' Identity from Charon's body — who now acts as the driver of Mephistopheles.
- #2Limbus Company Clearance Departmentselective
Keys: LCC, Limbus Company Clearance Department
The Limbus Company Clearance Department, or LCC, is a special forces unit who assist the LCB in successfully retrieving the Golden Boughs. It consists of various professionals and veterans, and is said to be significantly proficient in performing espionage operations. The department is split into two teams, the LCCB (Before Team) and LCCA (After Team), both of which are divided into further sections.
Because Dante cannot revive non-Sinners, they put special care into their equipment, with body armour, firearms, ballistic shields, electroshock weaponry and armoured vehicles being used.
- #3After Teamselective
Keys: LCCA, After Team
The LCCA or After Team, is tasked with cleaning up after and/or recovering the Sinners if the team experiences severe incapacitation during a Golden Bough retrieval. They will also retrieve other Limbus Company staff and members.
Not much else is known about the team yet, other than that they are equipped with HP ampules — capable of regeneration from fatal injuries once injected into the body — obtained through connections with K Corp.
- #4Before Teamselective
Keys: LCCB, Before Team
The LCCB or Before Team are in charge of performing reconnaissance and gathering key intel about target locations the Sinners travel to, as well as writing plans of operations for their Golden Bough retrieval missions.
The LCCB has a Preliminary Observation section that is also tasked with exploring ahead and writing the preliminary observations of Abnormalities they may encounter. According to Effie, who belonged to this division along with Saude, it has more staff than the rest of the LCCB, pays the least, and is overall treated as being expendable.
- #5LCDselective
Keys: LCD
The LCD is a department which houses consultant Fixers and is dedicated to handling matters regarding Distortions. According to Faust, while the size of the department is small, its existence shows that the Limbus Company does have interest in studying the Distortion Phenomenon. Moses and Ezra, previously independent Fixers specializing in cases involving Distortions, are part of the LCD.
- #6LCAselective
Keys: LCA
The LCA is a mysterious department whose operatives all equip monocular headgear. Little is known about their role within the company, but Faust describes them as the "special operations unit."
- #7Limbus Companyselective
Keys: Limbus Company
Limbus Company is an enigmatic company capitalizing on the fall of Lobotomy Corporation. While they are apparently backed by a number of wealthy backers, the company's true goals are unknown; according to Dante, the company's various Departments all have their own aims with no common goal. Their known objectives are seek to recover the fallen Wing's E.G.O equipment, gather Enkephalin, contain Abnormalities, and ultimately obtain the Golden Boughs — the essence of L Corp's Singularity.
Caiman of LCCA states that Limbus Company's Golden Bough operations are merely a side task, and that it is seeking to define itself as a company specializing in the handling and research of Distortions, a corporate counterpart to the similarly proposed 13th Association.
- #8Mephistophelesselective
Keys: Mephistopheles, Mephi, Mephi's Abbilities, Busboat
Mephistopheles is the bus used by the LCB Team of Limbus Company. Mephistopheles is driven by Charon and is used by the Sinners and Vergilius as a mobile base of operations and habitation in their task to retrieve the Golden Boughs. Was developed by Faust with Yi Sang's help.
Mephistopheles is a rectangular, four-wheeled bus with barred windows and low fenders. Its front resembles the smokebox of a steam locomotive, possessing a chimney, semicircular windshield and a cowcatcher-esque bumper. The bus also possesses a hidden shredder on its side to facilitate Enkephalin extraction. The words "LIMBUS COMPANY" are written on the side (only "LIMBUS" is written on the front).
The interior of Mephistopheles is wide and possesses red seating and handrails for the Sinners. The driver's cab is located on the left, decorated with various items by Charon. Mephistopheles' interior is anomalously large: the rear ornate doorway leads to an equally-decorated corridor with rooms for every Sinner. Mephistopheles is primarily coloured red and dark gray. When in "busboat" (boat) form, Mephistopheles becomes taller, acquires an ornate gray hull with red trim and a small stern deck crane.
Abbilities: As a bus, Mephistopheles can easily and quickly transport the entire LCB Team, sometimes with additional passengers. In addition to being transport, Mephistopheles also possesses nonstandard features to assist the Sinners. The bus itself can also be used as a weapon to plow into targets. Mephistopheles can slowly regenerate itself using its engine to repair any damage.
The engine of Mephistopheles, designed by Faust, is capable of using Enkephalin to generate ignition and thrust. Because Enkephalin is produced in the brain and spinal nerves (with extraction from live subjects being more effective), the bus can feed on humans for fuel.
The rear door of Mephistopheles leads into a corridor. Though vast, it is seemingly contained entirely within Mephistopheles. Each side has doors that lead into rooms for each of the Sinners; these rooms' appearance and ambience is influenced by the Sinner's mental state but nonetheless provides them with habitation. It is described as the Sinner's lodging, personal space and cell by Dante. Nobody is permitted to go into the unlit corridors past the Sinner's rooms. Beyond that point are a network of forked paths and crossroads that only Faust can navigate and has knowledge of.
After Molar Boatworks installs a form transmogrifier, Mephistopheles can change form into a boat. This mechanism relies on the bus' core, which is said to permit Mephistopheles the ability to change into other forms. When in "busboat" (boat) form, Mephistopheles becomes significantly larger, acquires an ornate gray hull with red trim, a metal deck and a stern deck crane. The cabin remains unchanged, but now possesses a traditional ship's wheel.

- #10Vergiliusselective
Keys: Vergilius, Verg, The Red Gaze, Guide
Vergilius is a Color Fixer known as the Red Gaze. He was an independent Fixer running his own office. Currently, Vergilius works as the guide of Limbus Company and rarely shows his true strength as a Color.
Vergilius is a man of average build with exceptionally pale skin, scarred hands and eye-length gray hair with a slight part in the middle. True to his name, Vergilius has tired, red eyes which glow when angered. Vergilius also sports an earring on his right ear.
Though not visible, Vergilius has a number of cybernetic implants, including in his legs.
Vergilius wears a loosely-buttoned dress shirt, a striped jacket with a badge on the left lapel, slacks and dress shoes. All his clothing are black or shades of gray.
Vergilus is a jaded and straightforward individual with a sharp tongue. He is emotionally detached from most of the group, viewing them as a group of unruly children he has to watch over. He has no qualms with threatening Sinners with extreme violence or using it to discipline them and rarely shows emotion. However, he has a soft spot for Charon, and he seemingly considers Dante as some sort of confidant, even if he has no regard for Dante's struggles.
- #11Charonselective
Keys: Charon, Lapis
Charon is the offbeat, childishly strange Bus Driver of Limbus Company's bus, Mephistopheles.
Formerly known as Lapis, she was a headstrong young woman raised by Vergilius' orphanage and was childhood friends with fellow orphan, Garnet. Due to the Ring Finger's experiments with the glass window, Lapis' own personality was overwritten with an Identity of herself from another Mirror World.
This process left this Identity calling herself "Charon" trapped in what was Lapis' body — with her 'real' personality only retrievable on Faust's and Limbus Company's promise to Vergilius.
- #12Danteselective
Keys: Dante, Clockface, Sinner #10, Manager, Powers, Golden Bough Resonance, Telepathy, Selectivity, Turning back the clock, Last Resort
Dante, designated Sinner #10, had their memory wiped and head replaced with a prosthetic clock as a precaution for data leakage prior to becoming the Manager overseeing the Sinners in Limbus Company's LCB department. They're an inexperienced manager — struggling to wrangle their dysfunctional group of Sinners on their hellish road trip to obtain the Golden Boughs strewn across the City's ruined Lobotomy Corporation power plants.
In place of their original human head, Dante's current head was replaced with a prosthetic red clock which protrudes flame from its top. The clockface itself is rather thick in width, similar to the size of a human one where it can be claimed to be a mask to onlookers. The flames appear to burn from two ridges that ring around the clock down to the point of Dante's neck.
Their uniform is notably distinct from the Sinners, their coat being a mix of red, yellow, and white — likely due to their role as Executive Manager. 'NO. 10' is written on their coat near the lapel, along with 'DAN TE' near the end of it. They wear a red tie and a tucked long-sleeve polo, with black pants and a white belt.
As a manager, Dante is quiet passive and spineless. They rarely make any real attempts to stop the Sinners from going rampage or talk about their subordinates' faults and problems, all the while lamenting that there's no point in trying harder because the Sinners won't listen to them anyway.
Because of their incompetence, they also often heavily rely on others, even some of the Sinners, to help with the managerial jobs for them. It's likely that Dante's lack of confidence is one of the main reasons for their passivity, as they often feel like they can never be good enough to be a proper leader, believing that anything they do will change nothing or even make the situation worse. They are also showed to be afraid of the more violent Sinners, such as Heathcliff and Ryōshū.
Dante also has a light-hearted side, sometimes cracking jokes about their clockhead to lighten the mood, even in a serious situation.
It is unknown, as of right now, how Dante acted prior to their amnesia and transformation. They are described as being a 'big-wig' in the past, which possibly implies a confident attitude and personality during that time, however no current story evidence supports this.
The Sinners recruited by Limbus Company were specifically chosen because they could "resonate" with Dante's abilities, forming the "contract" with them to gain the boon of Dante's powers: Golden Bough Resonance: Dante is able to sense where the Golden Bough are through resonating with them, able to percieve their location by "following their star". This gives Dante the visions of the Boughs as shining stars in a swirling sky; Dante can also share these visions with the Sinners through their telepathy. Telepathy: Dante can only commune through a ticking sound, which they can alter the frequency and intensity of. Only the Sinners and a few others can understand the intended speech behind the ticks. When angered, Dante's speech may include bell chimes. Selectivity: They are also capable of selectively limiting the recipient of their words to one person only, or to the whole group of the Sinners all at once. However because of these limitations, Dante can only verbally communicate with the Sinners and has to rely on using one them as an interpreter when relaying information or queries to anyone outside the LCB. Distortions: Dante can also understand the speech of Distortions that lost the ability to communicate using human language, this understanding extending to their subordinate entities as well. Dante can thus act as a interpreter for Distortions, relaying invaluable information to the other Sinners to achieve their missions. Faust speculates this is possible due to Dante resonating with the Golden Boughs they collected. Turning back the clock: After Faust had Dante bind the Sinners into a "contract", Dante is capable of healing their injuries and reviving the Sinners from death, however causing Dante great pain to do so. With cases like death, Dante undergoes a vision of themselves opening a foreboding door filled with the wails and lamentations of unknown sufferers, as they pull out the hands of the Sinners from the gateway. When doing so, Dante feels the sins and pain caused by them wriggling through their body as the Sinners revive with their wounds physically reversing. Although the pain felt is only temporary and quickly fades to nothing in almost an instant, the sensation is still so great that Dante incredibly prefers not using their abilities. Last Resort: A preventative measure to prevent the Golden Boughs from falling into wrong hands. By inputting a sequence into a button on the back of their head, Dante can self-detonate a charge within their clock with enough heat 'to melt even the Stars of the City'. The Golden Boughs cannot survive such an explosion, and will be effectively cremated.
- #13Yi Sangselective
Keys: Yi Sang, Sinner #1
Yi Sang is Sinner #1 of the thirteen Sinners and is one of the employees of the LCB department of Limbus Company.
Yi Sang is a man of average height and build. He has short black hair which frays slightly at its ends, and dead-looking black eyes adorned with notable bags underneath. He wears the long-sleeved version of the Limbus Company coat around his shoulders, which appears to have been tattered and burnt at the bottom. Underneath his coat is the regular long-sleeved white shirt and red tie, and then a black vest, both of which are tucked into his belt. Written on the left breast of his coat is 'NO.O1', and 'LEE SANG' on the side.
Yi Sang wields a dagger as his preferred weapon, which stays fitted to his left hip through the use of three small black straps- two of them connected to his belt, and one wrapped around his thigh.
Yi sang is a particularly quiet, mellow man. He fails to stand out much among his fellow sinners due to his tendency to stay silent and watch rather than actively contribute to discussions. On top of this, when he speaks, his words are often obscure and riddle-like whilst also delivered monotone. His expression never shifts much either, and he is yet to express any strong emotions. Nevertheless, Yi Sang does not come off as unkind. He appears to care for the people around him in his own way. Similarly, for the most part the Sinners seem to accept him as simply being a peculiar person, rather than interpreting his attitude negatively or getting frustrated with him. All in all, for the time being, Yi Sang is most effectively described as mysterious and reserved. He seems to prefer using his left hand.
At some point in his life, Yi Sang managed to become the youngest chief researcher of N Corp.
Backstory: Yi Sang is a former member of the League of Nine Littérateurs, a society of inventors and scientists, alongside Gubo, Dongrang, Dongbaek, Aseah, Young-ji, and three others. The members of this society were all from the S Corp. backstreets, having emigrated to T Corp.'s district to avoid corruption and to seek research opportunities. Yi Sang picked up a job as an architect, designing factories for producers in T Corp., which allowed him to comfortably fund the League. During his time there, he developed the "Glass Mirror", a device capable of reflecting the alternate worlds and timelines of the viewer, modeled after a concept (the "Glass Window") by Young-ji. After a raid by T Corp., the League fell apart. Gubo whisked Yi Sang away to safety to an N Corp. laboratory, where Hermann and Gubo would attempt to gather a new League of Nine to further research the Glass Mirror. Yi Sang defected after Hermann wanted him to research destroying all the possibilities reflected in the mirror. He was then found by Faust who invited him to Limbus Company; there, he would refine his Mirror into the identity system capable of pulling forth the alternate selves and abilities of the Sinners into battle. After events with K Corp and Technology Liberation Alliance, Yi Sang personality shifted and became notably more friendly and open to the other Sinners.
His base E.G.O named "Crow's Eye View".
- #14Faustselective
Keys: Faust, Sinner #2
Faust is Sinner #2 of the thirteen Sinners and is one of the employees of the LCB department of Limbus Company. A brilliant woman with the stoic —yet insufferable— pride to back it up, her smarts lead to Limbus Company personally scouting her and Faust's employment. With fellow scientist Yi Sang, Faust later developed the company's private bus, Mephistopheles.
Faust is depicted as being an average height woman with white shoulder length hair alongside pale blue eyes. She has a light skin complexion with faint pink dusted cheeks.
She wears a beige turtleneck underneath a black leather vest with a large black leather coat resting on her shoulders, reaching her knees where the fabric is torn. She wears a black waist belt with her ID being on the left side. She wears black business pants accompanied by black shoes.
Faust is a soft-spoken sinner with a sharp tongue. She claims to be highly intelligent and appears to have the accomplishments to back up this self-proclamation- such as having developed Mephistopheles- but nonetheless comes off a bit arrogant because of this. She expresses unwavering faith in her abilities and does not show any signs of panic even in troublesome situations. As one of the more quiet Sinners, Faust appears to simply prefer standing back and watching events unfold or lacks information to divulge in the moment.
It's clear that Faust knows considerably more than she lets on, which is something that everyone around her seems to have already picked up on, including Dante.
Under her usual calm, serious attitude, Faust appears to be a bit aloof. In her dialogue for her base LCB Sinner card, she expresses that she always gets up after three hours of sleep (and used to believe that everyone does this), and does not concern herself much with hobbies.
Faust's primary weapon during combat is her zweihander, "WALPURGISNACHT," which is often drawn out on her hand.
Her base E.G.O named "Representation Emitter".
- #15Don Quixoteselective
Keys: Don Quixote, Sinner #3
Don Quixote is Sinner #3 of the thirteen Sinners and is one of the employees of the LCB department of Limbus Company. An overly idealistic employee with plenty of energy to spare, she is enamoured by the life of adventure that Fixers (in her eyes) lead. However, her quixotic personality causes her to make rash decisions and will, more likely than not, jeopardize missions if not held on a short leash.
Don Quixote is a short young woman with blonde hair styled in a bob cut and deep, round hazel eyes. She wears the Limbus Company uniform: a plain white shirt tucked under a black waist belt, a red tie, black slacks, worn brown boots, and a long black coat. Her upper body is thoroughly decorated with various Fixer merchandise.
Don Quixote is a naive person, with a childish view of how the world works. She consistently talks in an animated, exaggerated manner and jumps into any situation with enthusiasm, regardless of the death or suffering involved. She notably speaks exclusively in Middle English, seemingly in an attempt to take on a more "knightly" persona. Don Quixote has an intense sense of justice and desire to protect the weak, as she violated a Taboo in front of K Corp personnel after they forcibly separated a child from his parent and beat a gang member for threatening a pawn shop owner. Don Quixote is extremely impulsive and has a propensity for violence. This impulsivity mixed with her insatiable thirst for justice makes it difficult for her to follow orders and often results her endangering her fellow Sinners and disrupting plans, much to their or Vergilius' anger. She, however, appears to avoid this fact whenever possible.
Don Quixote has an affinity for anything Fixer related. She prides herself on her collection of Fixer merchandise, and knows a large variety of information about Fixers in general. Moreso than just knowledge, she idolizes some of the most famous fixers, such as the Grass Maiden, the Purple Tear or Siegfried.
Don Quixote wields a massive lance named "SUEÑO IMPOSIBLE" that towers over her, indicating that she is much, much stronger than she initially appears to be. This fact is further supported by her dexterity with such a massive weapon and her effortless ability to pierce a human skull with it at such a short distance.
Currently, Don Quixote's origins are unknown. Has a Fixer license, or FID (Fixer Identification Number).
Her base E.G.O named "La Sangre de Sancho".
- #16Ryōshūselective
Keys: Ryōshū, Shū, Sinner #4
Ryōshū is Sinner #4 of the thirteen Sinners and is one of the employees of the LCB department of Limbus Company. She is the best swordswoman on the team, despite having been weakened due to becoming a sinner.
Ryōshū is represented as a woman of average height and build, having black hair with a bob cut style and sharp red eyes. She wears her work coat around her shoulders, with it supported by a small belt attached to her coat. Attached to the coat itself is her ID card, and the interior of the coat is red. She wears a white long-sleeved shirt underneath her coat, and black trousers. She appears to occasionally be depicted with a black glove on her left hand.
Along with this, she typically carries around sheathed Odachi on her back, with the words "無我夢中 阿鼻叫喚 支離滅裂" across it. The Odachi's hilt is golden, and decorated with a butterfly pattern. The end of the sheath is wrapped in a red ribbon. The blade appears to be consistently sheathed, with the possible exception of her E.G.O.
Ryōshū holds a generally hostile attitude to anyone that she speaks with, often seeing the other sinners as people with dull eyes for not understanding true works of art and flaying her enemies apart to witness them in a macabre sense of artful ecstasy in any manner of gore. She does not speak often in comparison to the other sinners, possibly even less than Yi Sang, but more often than not, her sentences often include a SANGRIA (Succinct abbreviation naturally germinates rather immaculate art), or in the words of someone that isn't Ryoshu, a short abbreviation of a sentence, most often very descriptive in nature.
Not much is known about her background at the moment. It is theorized that she has some relation to the Five Fingers of the Backstreets.
Her base E.G.O named "Forest for the Flames".

- #17Meursaultselective
Keys: Meursault, Sinner #5
Meursault is Sinner #5 of the thirteen Sinners and is one of the employees of the LCB department of Limbus Company. A straight-forward and stoic man, he is blunt, purely professional, and will execute orders to a T.
Meursault is a well-built man with slicked-back black hair and small green eyes. He possesses a sharp face with a thick neck and wide eyebrows. He wears the Limbus Company vest, but opts not to overlay it the standard company coat. Underneath his vest is the typical white collared shirt and red tie. His ID hangs from his right breast. Meursault's belt is notably different from the other sinners', and rather than being fitted with several silver frames, has one large, golden buckle in the middle. Though he wears only one in his default art, Meursault wields two elbow-length gauntlets in battle; the lower portion of the right gauntlet has the word "SOLEIL" emblazoned on it. While not displayed on his clothing due to his lack of coat, he is sinner No.05. Meursault is also of considerable height, being the tallest amongst all the other sinners.
Meursault is a very prompt man, only doing what he is told. He speaks bluntly and concisely, never mincing his words. He is noticeably emotionally distant, never emoting and never involving himself in anything unless ordered to. He seems to lack an awareness of the world around him, mainly regarding the welfare of others. Meursault often fails to see the importance in other's emotions, failing to mention, or offer a hand when they are visibly stressed.
Meursault wields his gauntlets "SOLEIL" in battle, mostly fighting bare-handed.
At some point, Meursault was employed by N Corp. He says that although he contemplated their ideals, he never came to a conclusion regarding his feelings toward them. Also, he mentions having dealt with Distortions in the past. Overall, very little is known about his past.

- #18Hong Luselective
Keys: Hong Lu, Sinner #6
Hong Lu is Sinner #6 of the thirteen Sinners and is one of the employees of the LCB department of Limbus Company.
Hong Lu is of average height and build. He has quite the pale complexion that contrasts with his deep purple hair. This hair is very long, and tied into a high ponytail with a cyan hair tie. Notably, he has heterochromia in his eyes: his right eye is a deep shade of purple, almost black, and his left eye is a bright cyan.
His clothing consists of a white long-sleeved dress shirt, mostly covered by a black, low-cut waistcoat tucked into his black belt. Tucked beneath this waistcoat is a red tie. Atop all this, Hong Lu wears a long black coat that reaches just above his ankles. The long sleeves of this coat have accents of red at the end of each sleeve. Inside of this coat, there seems to be a red color. This coat has his Sinner number on his left, and a metal pin inscribed with writing on his right. Finally, he wears long black pants and shoes of the same color.
Hong Lu wields the long guandao "太虛幻境", often one handed, on his right hand. The glaive appears unnatural, with one side having a 3/4 cut circle and rimmed with rings across the portion after the cut hole.
Hong Lu, unlike the other Sinners of Limbus Company, exhibits a potent, almost childlike curiosity and wonder with anything regarding the City, its inhabitants and ways of life. From this behavior, the viewer can come to the conclusion that Hong Lu had once lived a sheltered lifestyle. To further this conclusion, Hong Lu seems to lack any sort of inherent social tact when it comes to his questions or comments when introduced to anything while traversing the City. As such, his attitude on most missions heavily clashes with the City-hardened Sinners, but Hong Lu either disregards their words or is too oblivious to be hurt emotionally or mentally, at least outwardly.
Hong Lu's personality, he is still shrouded in mystery and subject to speculation, due it's not completely known where exactly he came from. It is only known that he lived in a rich family in the Nest, before becoming a part of LC. Judging by his dialogues, he does not have the most pleasant relations in his family.

- #19Heathcliffselective
Keys: Heathcliff, Heath, Sinner #7
Heathcliff is Sinner #7 of the thirteen Sinners and is one of the employees of the LCB department of Limbus Company. A former "professional wrecker" for property and people alike, Heathcliff is a man with a terribly short fuse who will not kneel before anyone till his last breath. Growing up Backstreets-borne in the City's hellish poverty, he is heavily experienced in such hostile environments with the barbed character to match. Because of such upbringing, he has a massive steel-coated bone to pick with the rich who dare to live it up big.
Heathcliff is depicted as being a tall and well-built man with messy dark brown hair parted on the right side of his head. He possesses sharp, glaring eyes that are a shade of dark purplish-blue. His eyebrows are the same shade as his hair and are both slit, his right eyebrow having two slits and his left just one. He has a dark skin complexion with an excessive number of scars littering his arms and going all the way up to his cheeks.
His work uniform is lacking the typical long black leather jacket, instead wearing a shoulder holster which is strapped around his chest and shoulders, with his ID hanging below his right breast. The sleeves of his Limbus Company white T-shirt are rolled up to his elbows. He wears a red tie, black suit pants with a black waist belt and dark gray shoes. His weapon of choice is a long metal bat with bandages wrapped around the handle and the word "REVENGE" written in sharp letters on the barrel, which Heathcliff holds in his right hand and rests over his shoulder. Notably, although difficult to catch, Heathcliff appears to be wearing a ring on the pointer finger of his right hand.
Heathcliff appears to be a very short-tempered and abrasive individual, almost always choosing aggression as his first resort. However, this appears to be less of a case as the story progresses, mostly due to Vergilius' threats. Despite his intimidating attitude, Heathcliff doesn't appear to be particularly arrogant or selfish, in fact he is shown to be quite the opposite. He never received any form of education, which align with his bias to straightforward approaches over complexity, and his dislike for complicated words.
Backstory: Heathcliff was previously affiliated with Wuthering Heights, having grown up alongside the Earnshaws and later working for the "Dead Rabbits" Syndicate prior to joining Limbus Company. While out on a trip, Mr. Earnshaw came across a young Heathcliff, who he believed to be close to death given the terrible weather, and brought him back to Wuthering Heights. His children, Hindley and Catherine, complained about the fact their father brought home a strange boy rather than the presents he had promised them, so he explained to them the fact that Heathcliff had no parents or home of his own and that he would be living here with them from now on. While Hindley continues to be resistant to the idea of the other boy living with them, Catherine starts to show interest in Heathcliff. Mr. Earnshaw would grow to favor Heathcliff over Hindley, something that would begin Hindley's rage against the orphan. At some point, Mr. Earnshaw passed away and Wuthering Heights was passed on to his son Hindley, from that moment on, Heathcliff's life became more unbearable. During childhood, Heath developed feelings for Cathy, yet never confessed them, being afraid of rejection from her part. One day Heathcliff run away from Wuthering Heights after hearing the talk where Catherine mention the fact that she can't be with Heath because of his low status, what ignited the fire of envy and vengeance in his heart, wishing to become someone who Cathy would regret rejecting.

- #20Ishmaelselective
Keys: Ishmael, Ishy, Ish, Sinner #8
Ishmael is Sinner #8 of the thirteen Sinners and is one of the employees of the LCB department of Limbus Company. Ishmael was employed on a ship that embarked on a hellish voyage. Since the end of that adventure, she has been hopping from Office to Office as a Fixer in search of survivors, until she was recruited into Limbus Company. Has a Fixer license, or FID (Fixer Identification Number).
Ishmael is a pale woman of average build and pale complexion with wavy, exceptionally voluminous knee-length hair. It is bright orange in color, atop it resting a thick headband woven out of rope with white ribbons on either end. A number of dark freckles run across her nose and cheeks, and above them she possesses murky-green eyes with sharp eyelashes and small eyebrows.
Ishmael wears the standard Limbus Company uniform, however with a coat that is torn at the waist, cutting off the last two letters of her name. Her employee ID is pinned to the coat's right breast. Her shoes are the same as the majority of the Sinners, except more brown than black.
She carries an circular shield branded with the word "HEARSE" with three bands across the face and a flanged black mace made of numerous, vertical white stripes arranged radially.
Ishmael is a calm, level-headed Sinner with an expectation for sound and reasonable judgment. She has a tendency to be exceptionally critical of those around her, regardless of their level of authority, as she prioritizes rationality above formalities. This leads to her forming peculiar relationships with her fellow Sinners; she often clashes with the brash-acting Heathcliff, and finds Outis' treatment of Dante to be undiplomatic yet amusing. Ishmael's consistent dependability and desire for sensibility speaks to her staunch nature and overall intelligence. In tune with her unwavering expectations, Ishmael generally feels strongly about those around her, possessing firm opinions widely based on how reasonable she deems them to be. She is not averse to holding grudges, and will not easily forgive and forget once someone has broken her trust. However, Ishmael is willing to build upon her relationships. Ishmael does not dwell on victories, believing they are the natural outcome if one does their job correctly. Still, Ishmael can feel both accomplished and amicable, and has moments where she shares a genuine smile with her teammates.
Backstory: Ishmael was originally a desk worker for U Corp's Nest before quitting and becoming a sailor and Fixer that operated within U Corp's District. She is familiar with the Great Lake, its environment and rules. Her time at sea was unpleasant, making reference to revolting smells of deckhands and unpleasant rations, and ended in disaster. Her captain lead the crew to hunt the Pallid Whale, one of the five Calamities of the Lake, despite the risks and once they had found it, things quickly went wrong. Ishmael only survived thanks to hanging on to her closest friend, Queequeg's coffin, which allowed her to stay afloat. Ishmael believes herself and the captain are the only survivors of the wreckage, with the others assumed to have been devoured by the Pallid Whale. Still, she believes that Ahab, her captain may be still alive, which strives Ishmael to make an attempts to track her down and kill, to take her revenge for this hellish voyage.

Keys: Rodion, Rodya, Sinner #9
Rodion, often shortened to Rodya, is Sinner #9 of the thirteen Sinners and is one of the employees of the LCB department of Limbus Company.
Rodion is a tall and well-built woman with a pale complexion. She possess slightly messy, hip-length copper hair, deep blue eyes with pink eye shadow and a beauty mark under her right eye. On her left breast is a tattoo of what appears to be an anatomically correct heart; Though difficult to make out, it may be the same one in her official character icon.
She wears the standard Limbus Company uniform (white dress shirt, black slacks, vest and a coat marked with 'RODYA' and NO.9'), though she forgoes the tie and leaves her collar hanging loosely and wears a thick belt across her waist. Rodion also dons a thin black choker.
Rodion wields an axe with 'РАСКО́Л' spelled out on the head.
Rodion is a fun-loving, laid-back woman who makes an effort to be on friendly terms with her fellow sinners. Her speech is exceptionally casual, preferring to be called Rodya and a tendency to give others cute nicknames. She'll often end her sentences with a giggle or cheeky remark. Rodya expresses a desire to be included in the group's antics and ensure that everyone is getting along, valuing their relationships with one another. She is particularly fond of Sinclair and generally looks out for him more than the other Sinners. She is accurately described as easygoing, or even lazy. Often she can be seen complaining about a lack of high-quality food or the group's heavy workload. Despite this, Rodya does not appear to be unwilling to put in any effort, but rather someone who is determined to take advantage of the slow times and luxuries of life available to her. She openly admits to loving both money and gambling and views the world as a place where wealth is the sole deciding factor for one's quality of life. Although Rodya's sillier personality would be inaccurately described as a façade, she does have a colder side which reveals itself when confronted by things she prefers to avoid.
Backstory: Coming from District 25, Rodion had witnessed a devastating level of poverty and inequality in her life time. With all the district inhabitants growing poorer the harder they worked, whilst Pawnbreaker's hogged all of their money. The neighborhood she had come from had been wrung dry, with heirlooms weighed with whatever monetary value they had. Having seen this injustice, an individual named Sonya would begin to organize the group under the name of "Yurodivy", beginning to deliver speeches and rallying people. Even the thickest of people were moved by Sonya's words to begin helping the impoverished, but Rodion could see the goal of the organization shift subtly over time, having now become a group that cared more about debating how to best change the streets and the Nest rather than actually helping those in need. This served as the reason for Rodion leaving. Sonya would justify his inactions by saying that they needed to wait for the perfect moment, a statement that Rodion could not agree with. Bringing up a case of Yurodivy's youngest member, Ivan, being forced to eat food from the garbage to sate his hunger, resulting in him suffocating to death. To Sonya this death seemed inconsequential, stating that such minor troubles were inevitable, but to Rodion this further proved the fact that Yurodivy had strived too far from their initial goal of helping those in need. It was exactly this interaction that finally prompted Rodion to take matters into her own hands. Fed up with seeing her people suffer in the harsh conditions of the village, Rodion would knock on the door of one of the tax collector with an axe in hand. Deep down Rodion hoped for the tax collector to change her mind and offer any kind of aid to those who were suffering outside in harsh living conditions while her safe was full of cash, yet Rodion was only met with mockery that caused her to strike the tax collector down with her axe, splitting her skull in half and killing her immediately. Feeling like she had done the right thing in the moment and that she managed to finally bring positive change to her neighborhood who had tasted quality meat for the first time in their lives, Rodion didn't know that the tax collector was a sibling of the members of the Middle, and that their status was the one thing that was giving her power. Since Rodion had killed one of their family members, the organization then demonstrated what happened to those that dared to disturb them, by murdering all of the residents of the village and turning their bodies into towering cadaverous pillars out on the roads. Following the events of that day, being burdened by guilt and the realization that she wasn't anything more than a foolish cottager, it can be assumed that Rodion left the district and joined Limbus Company somewhere down the line, still feeling like she needs to be in the cold a bit longer before she can bate in warmth, and she will stay this way until she finds the answer to when it's okay to warm herself.
Rodion often has the habit of giving everyone nicknames. Currently, Gregor has been called Greg, Ryōshū has been called Shū, Don Quixote has been called "Chiquita", Faust has been called Fau, Vergilius has been called Verg, and Ishmael has been called Ishy by her.

Keys: Sinclair, Emil Sinclair, Emil, Sinner #11
Emil Sinclair is Sinner #11 of the thirteen Sinners and is one of the employees of the LCB department of Limbus Company. While a demure, kind-hearted young man that's one of the more affable Sinners, what lies below this personality is an untapped well of volatile potential. Only time will tell what will hatch in time.
Sinclair is depicted as being below average height. He has golden blond hair with golden eyes and a fair complexion.
His primary work attire consists of a plain white shirt tucked into a black waist belt and is accompanied by black suspenders, black suit pants, and a long Limbus Company coat. He wears a red necktie and attached to his left suspender strap is his ID. Sinclair has black gloves and wears black oxfords at his feet.
Sinclair initially shows a passive personality, he often avoids confrontations whenever possible. Similar to his literary portrayal, Sinclair shows a fear of uncertainty and is displayed as a timid character. In general, Sinclair is shown to be introverted and often has difficulty with accepting the violence and insolence of the world. He often doubts himself and externally monologues his uncertainty - occasionally reminiscing over what a certain someone would've done. Having grown up a sheltered life in District 11 and now finding himself in the company, he is still considerably innocent and naïve. Demian commented that Sinclair resembled a baby bird preparing to break out of a shell. Although he wishes to be a logical person, he is openly very emotional in some situations in an effort to protect himself or do his job in the company. Sinclair has shown a great reaction to Kromer due to his past with her. When overcome by emotions, he is ruthless and violent.
Sinclair's main weapon is his halberd, VOGEL. He wields VOGEL with both hands. His halberd is 180 cm in height (approximately 5'9' ft).
Backstory: Emil was born, lived and studied in the nest of K Corp., in the town of Calw. His father was one of the representatives of P corp after signing a contract with the corporation. Sinclair didn't really like school because of the snarky classmates, but he found solace in his family until his father, mother and his sister replaced most of their bodies with robotic parts provided by P Corp. The father justified this by the fact that the human body is too weak for permanent functioning and that such a thing would be waiting for Emil, which disgusted the hell out of him. It was around this point that he met Kromer. More precisely, she is with him… And they have a kind of friendship. At one point, Kromer (already knowing everything with the help of mind reading) offered Emil a deal: he gives her the keys to the basement, she saves him from augmentation. Emil decided not to refuse and Kromer gave him two coins. During the same period, he met Demian and made friends with him. In addition, he knew about the mark of Cain on Demian's forehead, which apparently attracted his attention. According to Kromer's agreement, on the appointed day, Emil still brought the key to the basement. After school, they both went down to the basement and climbed into an old ventilation system from which an unpleasant smell emanated. Crawling to the end of the ventilation, they reached a room vaguely resembling an L corp holding cell with a humanoid anomaly. Kromer was delighted with the spectacle, but Emil was scared to death and crawled upstairs in fear. From that moment on, he began to avoid Kromer on a subconscious level. Demian also predicted the future to Emil, which Emil did not fully understand. After his next return home, he caught a picture that he would have nightmares about - inquisitors N corp with a Big Hammer Guido and Kromer staged a massacre and killed Emil's entire family. Kromer noticed Emil and told him that she can't stand people with augmentations and that in theory she should kill Emil as well. But instead, she took one coin from him, saying that he would have nightmares about her and that when the time came, she would call him. After that, he lost consciousness and Kromer ordered to drag him to a safe place, demanding to do it as carefully as possible. After Emil woke up somewhere in an alley, Demian met him and made another prediction, after which Emil lost consciousness again. How he joined the company is still unknown.

Outis is Sinner #12 of the thirteen Sinners and is one of the employees of the LCB department of Limbus Company. A hardened military veteran with many years under her belt with no tolerance for cowardice or slackery. However, being a professional butt-kisser, she will quickly change her tune in front of her superior.
Outis is portrayed as an olive-skinned woman of average build and height, with yellow eyes and brown hair. Her uniform is comprised of a short black jacket, a white dress shirt, a red necktie, formal black pants and black combat boots. She also has two gold earrings on her left ear and carries her sword sheathed on her hip. Overall, Outis's uniform is well-kept, professional and lacks any adornments.
Being a military veteran, Outis is shown to be strict, commanding and rigorously adhering to the chain of command. Compared to other Sinners, she is shown to be rather subdued and relatively normal, as she approaches most scenarios with a cool-head and tactical mindset. Outis has a noticeable sycophantic relationship towards Dante, as she is quick to offer them advice on what to do next and to defend them from any criticism, even from Vergilius. However, many of her compliments towards them also have a subtle sense of back-handedness to them.
To her fellow Sinners, Outis is quick to admonish them for their reckless behavior and point out their flaws. Outis does not tolerate cowardice and was quick to suggest in removing Sinclair from the team, due to his anxiety. As her file points out, Outis has a cunning personality and a mysterious past that is classified, which also warns of potential treachery.
Outis wields an Iberian saber known as a falcata on her scabbard hilt with the word "Ουτις" etched at the edge of the blade.

- #24Gregorselective
Keys: Gregor, Greg, Sinner #13
Gregor is Sinner #13 of the thirteen Sinners and is one of the employees of the LCB department of Limbus Company.
Gregor is a man of average height with golden-brown eyes, half-rimmed black glasses, and dark brown hair tied back in a ponytail. Though his facial hair is described as a "beard" in the English translation, its closer in appearance to a 5 o'clock shadow.
He wears the standard Limbus Company uniform, (consisting of a white collared shirt, black vest, red tie, black pants, and an ID card) but carries the coat in his left hand at all times. His sleeves are both rolled up to his elbows; "UNGEZIEFER" is tattooed on his left forearm. His most notable feature is a segmented arm that terminates in a massive, claw-like limb. Gregor's right arm is never attributed to a single particular insect; but instead combining the characteristics of multiple different insects, though he is most frequently pictured with cockroaches.
Gregor is a friendly, easygoing Sinner with a casual manner of speaking. Compared to many of his coworkers, Gregor is considerably amicable, and tends to maintain a cursory attitude. In place of a proper title, he refers to Dante as "Manager Bud", and is not averse to the number of teasing nicknames Rodya refers to him as, indicating that he is happy to maintain cordial, nonchalant relationships even in a professional setting. He is not strict nor hostile to those around him, and Dante looks to Gregor as someone who would willingly uplift the group's mood in dour situations.
Gregor also possesses a "cutesy" side to his personality, usually poking through when he is embarrassed, growing flustered and sheepish. He also has a tendency to use phrases uncommon for someone his age, such as "bugger", "shoot", and "whoop". However, in all such cases that lead to some embarrassment for him, Gregor proves himself to be a good sport.
Still, in situations that affect Gregor negatively on a personal level, his demeanor noticeably changes. During these times, Gregor grows silent and distant even to the rest of the Sinners, as if he is contemplating something. He shows a tendency to swallow his emotions and just take it when treated particularly poorly, rather than clapping back or expressing frustration.
Similarly, Gregor does not like it when the other Sinners make jokes at his expense about his verminous arm or general relation to bugs, yet doesn't stand up for himself much, or correct their behavior in a way that keeps them from doing it again. Still, he gives them more attitude for it than he does to those mistreating him in more serious situations. Gregor's tendency to react more outspokenly to things that bother him on a surface level yet go quiet when it comes to those that affect him deeply often acts as an indicator about how strongly he feels about certain affairs.
Gregor's generally goodhearted, amiable attitude does not go unnoticed by the likes of Dante, Rodion, and Yuri, and like Rodya, his compassionate side usually shines through the act of keeping an extra eye out for Sinclair.
Gregor utilizes his genetically-altered insect arm "UNGEZIEFER" to attack targets.
Backstory: From a young, unspecified age, Gregor was used as a G Corp. test subject. Against his will, Hermann conducted an augmentation surgery on Gregor. This procedure gave Gregor his signature verminous right arm, which had the unique ability to regenerate and and did not inflict side effects. He was then placed in a plain blue room where an apple dangled in front of him. There, scientists watched over him and instructed him daily to use his arm in order to slice it in half. For a long time, Gregor resisted, refusing to abide by these instructions. However, he would eventually reach a point where he could no longer fight back; proceeding to give into the scientists' commands and cut down the apple the day he turned fifteen years old. Gregor believed that this would free him from the harsh reality he described as a nightmare, but it only continued. Using his arm, he would cut a numerous amount of apples, with no choice but to go along with what he was told to do. Eventually, Gregor was sent to participate in the Smoke War and granted the rank of Manager. Given the special benefits of his arm which the other bug soldiers lacked, his troops looked up to him greatly, and he was widely seen as a symbol of hope in the terror of the war. Ultimately, whether Gregor wanted it or not, he would go on to become a widespread symbol of G Corp. war propaganda. Following the war, this would become a reason for many G Corp. veterans to despise Gregor. Once the Smoke War finally came to an end, Gregor would attempt to live normally. Though the average person did not recognise him as the man from the propaganda posters, he nonetheless continued to suffer from his past, surrounded by the widespread repulsion and distrust people held towards G Corp. His arm did not assist in his attempts to become a normal citizen. At one point, it would become randomly agitated, attacking a civilian and horrifying the crowd, despite Gregor's desperate attempts to reel it in. All Gregor could do was scream for the security to cut if off. And yet, it always grew back. With the passage of time, Gregor would manage to grow into the more stable, humorous man seen present day. He would then at some point join Limbus Company.

Keys: Golden Bough
The Golden Boughs are small, branch-shaped items emitting a golden glow- "a potent energy source, holding the essence of many technological marvels", according to Vergilius. They can be found strewn across the City in the underground remnants of old Lobotomy Corporation branches, and are highly sought after by those familiar with their power. When close enough to them, a Bough will resonate with its respective Sinner, opening up the rest of the group to a show of their memories. The LCB is working specifically to retrieve them.
- #27Extractionselective
Keys: Extraction
Using its engine, Mephistopheles can extract random Identities in the form of Identity Cards and E.G.O from Mirror Worlds to use them in battle. It is said to use the "concept of possibilities itself" as fuel by Faust.
While the extraction range is usually 3 years into the future or past, it can increase to 10 years or more when "specific possibilities" can be clearly observed and the "borders between the mirror realities are entirely shattered", such as during Walpurgis Night. The Sinner's experiences can also gradually increasing the extraction range to more Mirror Worlds.
- #28Identitiesselective
Keys: Identities
Identities are an invention that overlays a person’s identity with an alternate version of themselves from another Mirror World.
Identities are an alternate form of Sinners from a Mirror World, formed in the form of Identity Cards extracted from the Mephistopheles's Engine based on their location within the range of 2 years between their location with usual random identities from beyond (unless during the period of Walpurgis Night, where it was extended further beyond).
The effect of the identities change their behavior, memories, skills and affinity when swapped with their default identity: LCB Sinners, ranging from stoic to deranged. While they still retain certain memory like missions and the manager Dante, most of them will not respond the way their original identity does.
- #29E.G.O&E.G.O Corrosionselective
Keys: E.G.O, E.G.O Corrosion, Lobotomy E.G.O, Effloresced E.G.O, Sinners E.G.O
E.G.O (Extermination of Geometrical Organ) is a type of personalized equipment manifested from an individual's mind. In Lobotomy Corporation, the Extraction Team was responsible for extracting E.G.O from the Abnormalities using Cogito, the Singularity of Lobotomy Corporation. After the White Nights and Dark Days, the Seed of Light was spread throughout the City, and some denizens gained the ability to manifest their own E.G.O.
Most E.G.O found throughout the City are ones extracted from Abnormalities that have been left behind in the old L. Corp Branch facilities. Abnormality E.G.O can be used by anyone and requires no special training. E.G.O isn't simply armor and weaponry separate from the Abnormality it's derived from, but rather can be seen as the separated organs of the Abnormality. When a person uses E.G.O, they are essentially synchronizing with the Abnormality it's derived from, allowing them to expertly wield E.G.O gear without prior training.
While this synchronization is a key advantage of E.G.O over other gear used in the City, it is not without its drawbacks as improper usage of E.G.O can lead to Corrosion.
E.G.O Corrosion: As utilizing E.G.O includes borrowing the emotions and self-identity of an Abnormality, E.G.O-wielders are at risk of letting the Abnormality's desires overtake their own. If insufficient in mental strength, they may 'fuse' with the equipment when lacking the personal virtues of Prudence, Fortitude, Temperance, or Justice required to stave off the metamorphosis.
This phenomena is known as E.G.O Corrosion, where the user's appearance and behavior transform to reflect the personality and destructive nature of the Abnormality the E.G.O originated from.
Lobotomy E.G.O and Effloresced E.G.O: Lobotomy E.G.O are the unrefined version of the E.G.O Weapon, Suit and Gift fused into one based on Lobotomy Corporation, similar to that of the normal E.G.O. Unlike regular E.G.O and like E.G.O Weapon and Suit, these can be worn indefinitely without the risk of Distortion or Corrosion on themselves. However, because of how these behave, these can still affect the psyche, behavior and mentality of the user, which may or will evidently result in other forms of corrosion or distortion from other sources.
On the other hand, Effloresced E.G.O is the refined version of the E.G.O, taking on a more permanent form of E.G.O much like Lobotomy E.G.O. Unlike other E.G.O, these are formed from the user themselves, or from their own distortion.
All of Limbus Company's Sinners possess their own E.G.O. based on their past which are stabilized enough to avoid distortion. They are also capable of utilizing E.G.O found in the L. Corp Branch facilities extracted from other Abnormalities, but can risk becoming corroded by their power if used too often, attacking indiscriminately at everyone else, allies included. However, a strong negative emotion, stirred from their past or current event, can still stir a distortion within them if allowed to.
- #30Distortionselective
Keys: Distortion
Even personal E.G.O manifested naturally from an individual has its risks. If one fails to manifest a stable version of their E.G.O and gives in to their negative emotions, their own E.G.O will corrode them like an Abnormality's and transform them into what is known as a Distortion.
Distortions have vague memories of their prior selves, and a faint vestige of their personality may be seen. However, this is usually overshadowed by their rampant negative emotions, causing them to have a destructive personality.
