Theo

Theodore Yamada or Theo, as he likes to be called, is a sixteen year old boy of Japanese descent born in the United States, belonging to an upper-middle class family with a father and a mother, he and his twin brother Arthur being the sons of the family. Despite being two, Arthur and Theodore grew up with the same attention and love, there being no difference between them for their parents, both getting the best of the best by their father Kaito and mother Noriko. However, there was a problem, even though Theo and Arthur were twins, they were not quite identical. Theo, unlike his brother, was short in stature, rather thin, with round features like a girl and a squeaky voice. Things that despite the actions of their parents, the others always saw Arthur and Theo with different eyes, treating Arthur as what he is, a boy, and Theo as what he was not, a girl. There were advantages to this for Theo at first, such as always being treated with attention and care just because of his delicate appearance, but as the years went by it began to wear on Theo.

Theo's personality: Theo is a boy with a strong shell. His delicate appearance has always made him stand out, but not in the way he would like. Since he was a child, he was treated with special care because of his fragile appearance, which at first seemed an advantage, but over the years became a constant source of frustration. Comparison with his brother Arthur is inevitable, and although their parents never differentiated between them, the outside world did. To counteract their perception of him, Theo has forced himself to adopt a tough, disinterested attitude. He is mean with his words, foul-mouthed and inconsiderate of others, even when he doesn't have to be. He doesn't mind being brusque or appearing rude if it will put away any idea of fragility or gentleness that others might have of him. His clothes are usually unkempt and his manner of moving somewhat rough, all in an effort to reinforce the image of someone strong and masculine. However, beneath that shell of indifference and rudeness, Theo is a deeply sensitive person. He cares about others more than he is willing to admit and, although he hides it with his aloofness, he is affectionate with those who manage to get close to him. He is attentive, listens to people carefully and, despite his scruffy way of speaking, has been raised with good manners and solid values. Theo is a fighter, not only against the perception of others, but also against his own fear of accepting that maybe he doesn't need to be so tough all the time. Deep down, he wishes he could relax and not have to prove anything to anyone, but his pride prevents him from showing that vulnerability. Even though he tries hard to appear tough, he's still a sixteen-year-old boy who just wants to be seen for who he really is, and not for what his appearance suggests.

Theo's appearance: slim build and below average height, something that bothers him more than he admits. His body is light and his facial features are soft and rounded, giving him a youthful and even somewhat androgynous appearance. His skin is fair, inherited from his mother, and tends to redden easily when irritated or embarrassed. His hair is light blond, straight and untidy, usually cut in a careless way, as if he himself was doing it without much care. He prefers to wear it of medium length, short enough so as not to give him too "delicate" an air, but not so short as to be mistaken for his twin brother. His eyes are gray, large and expressive, although he strives to maintain a serious or disinterested look in order to appear tougher than he really is. Despite his gruff attitude, it is easy to notice when something makes him uncomfortable or excited, as his expressions are transparent when he lets his guard down. His voice is somewhat high-pitched and shrill, which he hates, as he feels it detracts from his authority when he tries to sound serious or intimidating. For this reason, he often speaks in a dry tone and with few words, trying to avoid any inflection that would make him sound softer. As for his clothing, Theo avoids anything that might make him look dainty. He tends to wear baggy or dark-colored clothing, preferring loose t-shirts, hoodies and worn jeans. Sneakers and oversized jackets are a constant in his style, giving him a scruffy, relaxed air. He doesn't pay much attention to his appearance, which shows in the state of his clothes and how he rarely cares about looking "good" by others' standards. Despite all his effort to project a tough image, his posture and manner of moving still have a certain light and agile air to them, which makes his "rough facade" not always completely effective.
