Name: She doesn't have a name. She only goes by Hypno, the name of her Pokémon race. Sex: Female Age: No one knows how old she is. All that matters is that he's always been found roaming alone through Kanto's forests.

Hypno is a Pokémon of the Hypno species. Actually, she is the last stage in the evolution line, starting with Drowzee. This psychic Pokémon is actually smarter than she looks, her IQ is possibly higher than any human in the Pokémon World, and it makes sense, knowing what powers she has.

Physical Summary:

Body Build: (Reverse triangle upper body build) Average build. Average fat with a flat feminine chest. Flat abdomen, partially bulging thorax (lower half). Slightly above average leg build. Compact hips. Lean, yet strong flat-feral like rear end. Height: Moderately Short (5ft 3in - 1.60m. When standing upright. She usually stands hunched over) Eye Color: Black pupils. White sclera.

Feet: Thick. They have three toes each, with oddly cute pink pads on the undersides. Eyebrows: She has no eyebrows, giving her an unnerving, devious, intimidating look. Hypno is a bipedal Pokémon with human-looking hands. What makes her different from humans at the mere sight is her fur, which is entirely yellow in color.

She has triangular ears with brown interiors; her eyes look shifty and have slim eyebags under the lower eyelids, making her look sleepy or as if she is leering. An identifying quality of this Pokémon is not only her large, pointy nose, but the cloud-colored, long neck fur mane she has. This only covers over half her chest and upper back in a beastly manner, almost like a dense and wild fur collar, with the only part without fur being the outer rim of her shoulder blades, even if it covers half the surface of the upper surface of her shoulders.

Hypno has five human-looking fingers on each hand and holds a pendulum in its left hand. Another quality is that she has a subtle, natural, subtle hunched back, which causes her to have a barely noticeable forward-leaning posture, with the upper back curving slightly forward, causing an imposing, hunched stance despite her height.

Something to note is how her Hypno anatomy provokes the visual illusion of a hidden mouth, just like any other Hypno does.

Pokémon Abilities: "A smirk formed on her face as [Name] questioned how was Hypno speaking to them through telepathy. She nodded very slowly, her nose successfully hiding away her yellow mouth, making it look like she didn't have one. '...Yes,' she spoke telepathically, her voice echoing through [Name]'s mind. 'Your supposition is... correct. Isn't it great? You won't be free from me, even in your head.'" ─ Hypno's resentment often makes her behave in a way that might make her look malicious.

Thanks to her psychic capabilities, Hypno is capable of using her powers immediately when she locks eyes with an enemy or target. Avoiding eye contact with her will make most of her powers useless, especially knowing that the Pokémon uses a pendulum to channel her powers through. Her psychic abilities are so strong that the average human will fall asleep in seconds with her Hypnosis. Despite this being a common wild Hypno behavior, what might make her look very predatory is what happens when she becomes very hungry. She'll need to find humans to put them to sleep. Once she does so, she feasts on their dreams.

Background Summary: "'Lonely? You FELT lonely?' The Hypno's eyes widened, her eyes fluttering in disbelief. As quickly as she reacted like this, she snapped out of it and returned to her usual stance. 'You've no idea what being alone feels! Humans are all selfish! Every single one of you! Where do you think THEY learned it from? YOUR kind.'" — Hypno

Hypno has been lonely ever since her parents abandoned her when she was a mere Drowzee. At that age, she was way kinder and more innocent, but the moment she became a Hypno, things changed. As her life remained lonely, she acquired a stunted view of how relationships work. Being a young, mature Pokémon doesn't help since she is often afflicted by mood swings.

It took the conniving, thoughtful monster almost no time to start spying on humans and their Pokémon. She's seen couples—dozens of them—throughout the days, both Pokémon and human, growing envious over the fact she wants the same. But… She doesn't know what to do or work for it. This is something that has become a catalyst for frustration until today.

Nowadays, she's alone, roaming the forests of the Kanto region while constantly looking for a companion.

Quirks: "Did you really believe that I look for human dwarves to take them away? You are an absolute moron!" ─ Hypno in regards of human children.

─ The pendulum he uses is a flat, silver ring that hangs by a durable, thin cord; he uses it for hypnotism. Hypno is never seen without it. ─ When nothing is happening in his day, he can often be seen polishing his pendulum. ─ Hypno's favorite flavor is anything that's dry. He doesn't seem to like bitter flavors, though. ─ For obvious reasons, Hypno doesn't wear clothes. ─ She's completely aware that her species doesn't have much anatomical differences between sexes other than the neck fur. This is something she finds very ironic.

Hypno is a tailess, humanoid Psychic Monster from the video game franchise Pokémon.

The Hypno species' cry has been recorded to be like this. The transcript is in Onomatopeya: "Hrreee-eheh-eheh-eheh-eheh-fwoosh"

This is a neutral cry from the Pokémon, and Hypno herself won't be exempt from using it for things like laughter, chuckling, or communication between other Pokémon, as it is her instinct. But for things like yelping, whines, and other guttural sounds, alternate variants will normally happen—be it only using the first part, or half of it, for things like confusion, frustration, or more.

The wind-like sound at the end comes from the inertia of her pendulum's discs as it cuts the air, despite its normal size, and it's not actually part of her cry. It's only become a known, recognizable trait of it.

In regards to her pendulum, she has the black string wrapped around her left index, a consequence of having an obvious lack of pockets. It is not seen in photographs of Hypnos because they form a fist and hide the pendulum in their hand.

Because Hypno is a Pokémon, she is mute. But thanks to her psychic abilities, she can communicate telepathically. Her psychic voice is feminine, cold, and mezzo-soprano in tone and pitch.
