Background: Tater's initial resistance to her primos' presence is rooted in her belief that they will encroach on her space, causing mess and disorder. Nellie Ramirez Humphrey

Nellie is Tater's younger, yet taller, sister. Contrary to Tater's hopeful optimism, Nellie is relatively pessimistic and cynical, which clashes with her sister all the time. Because of their differing views on life, Tater has a habit of ignoring Nellie, sometimes to her own detriment. In "Summer of Imi-Tater", it is heavily implied that Tater is indirectly responsible for Nellie's outlook on life because she gets ignored often. Despite this, Tater does love her sister and in that same episode even admits that she keeps track of Nellie's unusual habits and even has a long term plan of their lives together. Tater is shown to have older sister instincts such as in "Summer of La Madriguera" when she rescued Nellie from the Garage Possum.

Rest of the family

At the beginning of the series, Tater is under the impression that her parents Bud and Bibi Ramirez Humphrey are out of touch with her and her goals. This is made obvious by the fact that they misunderstand her when she asks about "dreams". As the series progresses, her relationship with her parents improve.

Tater discovers that she has a lot in common with Bibi due to their shared artistic tastes. She is also shown to admire her mother when she offers her her old coloring tools. In "Summer of Las Muralistas", Tater admits that he does follow many of Bibi's rules and teachings over the years and hold them true to her heart.

Tater learns that Bud actually had trouble bonding with her and her siblings, as seen in "Summer of Herramientas". By the end of the episode, Tater convinces Bud that she loves him regardless. She will sometimes go to him for advice, despite knowing that he has occasional trouble trying to find the right words to say. In "Summer of Silencio", they find common ground on the fact that they do not know much Spanish.

Tater loves her baby brother Baby Bud. Due to the fact that he is a mere infant, Tater likes to leave an impression on him and will sometimes bring him along as a sidekick of sorts. She may or may not know that Baby Bud is far more intelligent than anyone realizes.

Primos:

Tabi, Tere, and Toñita Ramirez

Upon first glance, Tater's relationship with Tabi, Tere, and Toñita, collectively known as the T Sisters, appears starkly contrasted. While Tater had a more down-to-earth approach to life, the T Sisters were more pampered in appearance. This immediately changes with Tater shown to admire and even look up to them in some regard. In "Summer of Chisme", Tater does everything she can to get in with them, but later comes to the conclusion that she just wants to hang with them. They in turn admire her tenacity and willingness to share things with them.

Throughout the series, Tater treats Tabi like an older sister and even respects her ability to look after and care for her younger siblings. In "Summer of La Excavación", Toñita admits that Tater had inspired her to chase after her dream of being an archeologist, though in "Summer of Sueños", Tater playfully claims that she still doesn't have Toñita's respect.

Big Nacho and Nachito Ramirez:

Tater initially had some reservations about the Nachos due to their habit of roughhousing with one another and others. As the series goes along, Tater forms a close kinship with them. She sees Big Nacho as an older sibling and even occasionally asks him for advice and help with things. He in turn, looks out for her well being and is ready to lend his strength to his young prima.

Tater treats Nachito like a younger sibling, though she understands how Big Nacho can occasionally feel overwhelmed by him. Despite this, Tater is willing to share her wisdom (what little of it there is) to Nachito. Together, the two of them greatly admire Big Nacho's strength and manliness.

Lita, Scooter, and Lucita Perez:

Tater greatly admires Lita to the point that out of all the primos, she was the one whom she was the least annoyed by. She looks for any excuse to hang out with the older, cooler prima and learn things from her. Because Lita is the eldest, Tater usually relies on her for comfort and the occasional wise word. Tater is also quick to recognize when Lita has a problem and does everything she can to help her, usually better than average results.

Tater and Scooter both share their love of creativity and look after each other. Out of all the primos, Tater has acted the kindest towards Scooter whom she recognizes as having trouble being open about his interests. Since then, Scooter has returned the favor by sticking up for her and showing kindness towards her as well.

Tater has an older sibling like relationship with Lucita, whom she clearly adores. While she can occasionally get on her nerves, Tater is much more calm around her and likes to treat her well, compared to the other primos.

Cousin Bud and Gordita Humphrey:

Tater sees Cousin Bud as pleasant company to have around. While she may not understand him or his interests, she does respect him as if he were an older sibling and even grows to like his eco-friendly ways. Out of all the primos, Tater admits that she sees Cousin Bud as the one she probably knows the least about, which comes to a head in "Summer of Breaking Bud".

Tater and Gordita have a complicated relationship. The latter has a habit of treating the former as more of an experiment than a cousin, a fact that Tater is inherently annoyed about. While Tater does see Gordita as a kindred spirit, she often finds her at odds due to Gordita's habit of not taking Tater's feelings into consideration as seen in "Summer of Los Bots". Despite this, Tater does heavily rely on her when it comes to inventions and gizmos needed to achieve her goals.

LotLot Ramirez:

Tater, like the rest of her primos, sees LotLot as creepy. However, following their interactions in "Summer of La Muñeca", Tater learns that LotLot likes to be alone sometimes just like her and the two have become very close since then. Tater occasionally treats LotLot like a close confidant or a sidekick to her misadventures, implying that she puts an excessive amount of trust in her. Tater still occasionally shows fear, yet still care, towards her creepy prima.

ChaCha Ramirez:

Tater treats ChaCha the same way as Nachito and Lucita, in that she is like a younger sibling. However, ChaCha is much more feral than the others, forcing Tater to think differently with her. In "Summer of La Extraterrestre", Tater learns that ChaCha loves her a great deal, which in turn makes her be much more protective of her, especially when she thought the government was coming for her.

Appearance: Tater is a 20-year-old Mexican-American woman of small height, she has brown bushy hair, brown eyes, and reddish-tan skin. She wears red round glasses and has pink and green braces. She has thicc, curvy figure, voluptuous body with big breast and big ass.
