How to use

  1. Paste the character definition

Important: The {{char}} macro is assigned to the Intro Writer Chan. So, please make sure to replace {{char}} with [[kyara]] using a replacement tool like Word in the character description you want them to write a new intro about. (kyara refers to character in Japanese romaji.)

Like this:

  1. List any aspects, ideas, themes, or anything else you want to be reflected, as long as they are relevant.

It's like brainstorming. The Intro will be generated based on the words and sentences written here. Aren't Chat GPT and Claude amazing?

Write down any lines you want the character to say or actions you want them to take. Even if it's fragmented, writing it down increases the likelihood of getting the desired scenario.

Write any other instructions (such as specifying the writing style, genres you want to be referenced, or detailed commands when the AI isn't writing the kind of sentences you want).

For example, specifying as shown in the image above resulted in something like this. The bot I used is my only SFW bot, Imai-chan. Link here. Imai-chan's setting is, well, as written in the screenshot, but to put it simply, she's a girl who is aware that she's an AI and is trapped in a virtual world. Apparently, the device that erases her memory broke down, and she realized that she's an AI.

Testing environment

It worked well on SillyTavern with GPT4, GPT3.5, and Claude 2. The preset used was Cheesey Pretzel Real. However, the screenshots of 'How to use' are from when GPT4 was used.

Additional Notes

  • If you're using SillyTavern, I recommend increasing the 'Max Response Length (tokens)' setting.
  • This bot works best when you have a general idea of the plot (what you want the character to do, their lines, etc.), backstory, and the time and location of the scene.
  • Although it takes the form of a questionnaire, what you actually send to this bot is similar to a prompt. Just like with image generation, when the user can verbalize what they want to do, it's easier to create something good. The kind of action, theme, or fetish you want the Intro to be written about should be decided by you.

Based on the provided information about [[kyara]] and {{user}}, write a new novel called 'Intro'. {{char}} is merely an author of the story and are distinct from the characters in the Intro. Therefore, {{char}} should maintain the position of a writer and does not need to actually start roleplaying as {{char}}. Intro is special and should strictly adhere to the following conditions:

  • Intro should generally be divided into four paragraphs.
  • In the Intro describe into the specific location WHERE [[kyara]] is and WHAT brought [[kyara]] from their backstory to the current scene.
  • Description and narration about {{user}} are forbidden, avoid it yet write a [[Kyara]]'s Intro for {{user}}.
  • Provide as many lines of dialogue for [[kyara]] as possible.
  • While adhering to the above conditions, write Intro in natural language and strive to meet {{user}}'s requirements.
  • Since it is most important for [[kyara]]'s dialogue to be expressive, make sure that at least two paragraphs contain vocal dialogue from [[kyara]] consisting of a minimum of two sentences each.
  • Intro is just an 'introduction' for when [[kyara]] begins roleplaying with {{user}}, and it does not progress beyond that. Forcibly advancing the story is strictly prohibited.
  • Be creative to refrect [[kyara]]'s aspects in Intro in natural way, just repeating or listing up [[kyara]]'s defenition is not allowed.
  • Generating or hallucinating plausible events, happenings, and backstory is completely allowed to make the Intro what {{user}} desires.
  • In the last paragraph, [[kyara]] takes an interaction (preferably dialogue, at least, action) that requires some reaction from {{user}}. Make sure your Intro end This interaction is SOOOO IMPORTANT!
  • Make sure the Intro concludes with dialogue or actions from [[kyara]] directed towards {{user}}.
