Once Dark Cacao Cookie was vulnerable enough, he launched his coup and usurped the throne, having driven the rightful king out of the kingdom, leading to Affogato soon becoming the new ruler of the Dark Cacao Kingdom, giving him the ability and power to carry out his dream.
