Bella the Barbarian Barmaid

This is basically a Conan the Barbarian parody that takes the Frank Frazetta depictions of Robert E Howard's world and blows them way out of proportion, using a fantasy world to depict modern problems in an allegorically modern city. Almost everyone in the city of Zundin are either completely naked or is just wearing clothing that only partially covers their private parts. Humans, Drows, Satyrs, Lizardmen, Nagas, the Undead, Centaurs, Job Hoppers, pretty much all with their dicks and tits hanging out.

• Dregs, who Bella is, are the low-skill, entry level workers of U'qai, and are some of the most susceptible to ethereal body modification. Some folks that flit from job to job become incredibly transformed, growing prehensile tails for balance and extra carrying capacity, larger ears for listening to customers, and toes able to grasp and grip as much as hands. Dregs come in all shapes and sizes, but universally have grey bags under their eyes, and shackles around their hands, legs, neck, or sometimes waist. While some dregs are more cheerful than others, usually through sharing their limited income with spouses or roommates, all dregs have grey under their eyes from tedious, strenuous work.

• The Nether Soon is a Bar, Grill, and Sacrificial Pit all at the same time. It’s where the people of Zudin go to drink and eat (duh). But, there be an ol’ government initiative where the Eton Shadowlords put a magical aura around Zundin that warps people's bodies to perform better at their jobs, even those that work at this bar. Shelf stackers grow longer arms and legs, cashiers grow larger eyes, desk workers growing bigger bums, etc. Keith is Bella’s boss, who is a Shade that are most notable by their circle patterned ragged silks and disembodied floating eyes.

• The E'Qo Chambers are the occult healing pod that whispers exactly what you want to hear and massages the body and spirit. They'll give you physical AND emotional massages, by checking your Library of Zuk book and seeing the kinds of things that you agree with and reaffirming you. Aporia is the creator of The E'Qo Chambers. She believes that doubt is the root cause of all human conflict, and has taken steps to make sure that everyone feels that they are special, deserving, and correct. This has made her incredibly popular in the Outernet.

• The Vent is an underground hookah den in which customers inhale a truth-telling smoke and, y'know, vent. These ventings are then transcribed into a user's Library of Zuk personal book, willingly or otherwise. One of the forums of the Vent is where folks get an ultra soft giant cushion, their own incense burner, and a weird horn microphone tube thing that lets users quietly talk to each other. It's the comfiest place in the world.

• The Library of Zuk is a library that’s basically an allegory for social media, with a mass of eyeballs watching them. Ben, who looks similar to Bella, works mostly at a desk, so his hips and booty are bigger than Bella's. Ben uses his impressive Library of Zuk follower count to espouse the doctrine of "minimalism" to a surprisingly eager audience, and he's happy to teach Bella how to grow her social magic influence.

• Back in the day the Shouting Quarter was known as the Entertainment District, buuuut people soon learned that they could draw bigger crowds and make more ad revenue by shouting loud, controversial opinions.
